Really great staff!! Recently, I have been spending a lot of time working from this Starbucks location and the staff and manager here are extremely friendly. They take the time to check in and ensure that your drink is on time and properly made. Will highly recommend it. Great location too. Appreciate the great service.

Decent service when theyre not busy. But when they get backed up they get really disorganized and end up filling the waiting orders out of order. I waited so long for my breakfast one day (ordered on app 5-7 minutes before arriving at store, still hadnt even been started 15 minutes after arriving) that I had to leave without my order or I would have been late for work. During that time, several people who placed orders AFTER me had already recieved their food. And since it was a mobile order, I couldnt get a refund. I understand that at busy times the wait might be longer, but they really need to get organized asks fill orders in the order they they were placed.

Starbucks is my second home! It is cozy and a perfect place to pick up a coffee and relax or do work!

Ordering from Starbucks app to pickup from this store was quick, seamless and pleasant. In and out within 7 minutes though.

This is one of the better Starbucks locations in the area. Its very clean and the staff is great!

Workers are nice and the store is clean, but all of the prepared coffees (as well as the Reserve bagged beans) taste burnt, even the light roasts that really shouldnt taste like that. What a shame.

The staff is really friendly but they make the worst drinks here unfortunately. I keep trying to pay extra so that they’ll add more foam on my drink by adding more cold foam to a cold brew that already comes with cold foam JUST so they’ll make it the way other Starbucks stores do and they still don’t. Today I got one without ice. 🤦🏻‍♀️ A few weeks ago, they charged my gift cards full balance by mistake and had to give me cash. I just keep hoping every time I go, they won’t screw up my drinks and every time something goes wrong.

Great location and employees

Im also a loyal Starbucks customer, but I guess not anymore, at least not for this branch. Just ordered 4 pink drinks and they were all so diluted, tasted like sweetened water the color was off and no strawberries in the drink. If they are running low on ingredients they should just say the drink is not available. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH.

Love the chai tea lattes. Parking is a little difficult if you need to go inside to pick up your order. Best to use the drive thru if you can.

I have a dairy allergy and have never had an issue. I order my drink with almond milk and no whip cream. This morning not thinking I had to check because I did say “no whip” they put whipped cream on my drink. I’m driving and my throat begins to close. Thank god I have Benadryl and my epipen on me. When someone says dairy allergy it’s an allergy not lactose intolerance and it should be taken as serious as any other allergy with anaphylaxis.

This staff is incredible. We waited 20 minutes for one drink but it was rush hour there. And we at first we felt some frustration, then we took a step back to watch the staff work, it was so impressive one girl was printing out so many tickets she had both hands full lol everyone there was made this place a well tuned machine. From online, to drive thru, to inside ordering so impressive, great team and even though they were clearly working as hard as they could they were still so friendly to the customers. This Starbucks location has an A team behind the counter, friendly to their customers and produce fire drinks. I was so tempted to go back to just watch them work that’s how great they were lol

The Toms River Starbucks in the plaza with Stop & Shop on Route 70 is by far The Best Starbucks in Ocean & Monmouth Counties!The baristas are excellent and very nice...the drinks are always perfectI go here at least 1 or 2 times a week!

There were 3 baristas, one of which made eye contact with me and didn’t do anything, 2 by the drive through window, 1 by the oven. Yet nobody care about the customer that is standing in front of the register.And when I finally got service, I was overcharged and the coffee was wrong. And I still walked out with an u satisfied coffee. I didn’t want to bother anymore.I only wanted a blonde with almond milk.How hard is that?

Best cappuccino/ barista trained staff in Toms River! Staff super friendly. I drive an extra couple of miles just to go to this particular Starbucks because they know how to make cappuccinos & lattes properly

I disagree with previous comments. How hard is it to make a caramel brûlée latte iced?? Got a hot peppermint mocha, then a mocha latte iced. Give me a break pay attention to the order it’s printed on the label. Won’t be back to this establishment.

This is a great location to do homework/ work. The space is slightly limited but if you can score a seat, its totally worth it. This is a free standing starbucks building with windows on 3 sides that let in some natural sun light. The staff is also super friendly and treats customers with full attention.

No one inside. 3 cars on drive through. They made my sandwhich but was freezing could as i had to wait for the 8 employees to make the app orders before making my coffee!!

Have been coming since the first day it opened. The manager is accommodating and kind. The staff is always sweet and those that arent dont last long. At times it can become overwhelming for them as the location is right off rt 9 and miles from another Starbucks. They do their best everyday.

I go to this Starbucks every morning. The girl thats usually there takes care of me really well. I want to say her name is Casey. All I have to say is that they are really friendly here and they will take care of you. Awesome service

This used to be my favorite Starbucks it was always perfect. I don’t know if the normal people left but lately been off. I stopped this morning and my latte wasn’t made correctly and Casey was annoyed that I asked for more milk. When you pay this much for coffee you expect it to be made correct. She should be a little nicer if she’s going to be at the drive threw. And the coffee was still terrible after.

Ive been here a few times and I absolutely can not believe how long you can sit at drive thru for, average wait is like 20+ minutes. The staff is friendly, but you literally can spend 30 minutes in line

Although the prices at some of the Starbucks locations have gone up without any notification. This store being one of them offered to adjust the price of my coffee based on the fact that I am a Gold Card member who has been a Starbucks customer for 16 years. As with all Starbucks customer service is there most important priority but not all follow this policy. This particular location did exactly that and I left a very happy camper with my much-needed latte in hand

What I like the most about Starbucks is that the staff is always very friendly, and they make some awesome drinks! The caramel macchiato is my favorite and they know how to make it just right every time!!

I place my order, and pull forward to find my drinks ready to go, by a young lady with again a pleasant disposition and smile and in this day and age Im astounded at the level of efficiency and positive attitude these two baristas showed today. Amazing Service

Fast friendly service and kept clean. I frequently use the app, it works well and my drinks are waiting for me. The one time I did have an issue, I was given a free drink! There is seating, although there are times that it is crowded. There is a drive through a well. This store has clover machine, not all stores have it.

Not bad here. Drive thru seemed very busy and the inside was just as busy. We placed our order through the mobile app so our drinks were ready as soon as we walked in.

Amazing and quick service

I go here a lot, mainly due to distance, and there’s been a number of hiccups from the service that it could definitely improve on. There have been multiple times where they’ve made me the wrong drink (but that’s typical for any Starbucks); messed up a mobile order...; and once I waited 15 minutes for my drink when there was literally no line.. I had to come up and ask where my drink was and they didn’t even make it? I was literally the only one there...Other than that, it’s clean and cozy like any other Starbucks, which gets it its two stars.

Somehow the barista allowed someone to use my starbucks account while I, my card and my app were on the other side of the country. (Ive never even been to New Jersey.) Im still not sure how that is possible.

Good location. They have a clover machine and a great selection of single origin reserve coffees. It is too loud in here for my taste.

Small place but free WiFi and nobody complains if your just hang out for a while to enjoy you coffee and going online.

Its Starbucks. There is outside seating, which is very pleasant. Although its by Route 9 and 70 you dont hear a ton of traffic.

It is Starbucks and typical drinks and food. Have been in when it has not been busy and staff could be more welcoming. They were efficient at their work but not really friendly.
