We drove out to Lester Glenn Mazda to purchase a CX-5 and trade in our vehicle. Originally the deal was not going to work out in one of the colors we liked but soon after we left our salesman, David Shapiro gave us a call and told us about a vehicle that fit more within our budget and was also a color we liked. He took the time out to answer all of our questions and work with us especially after we drove quite a bit to get to their dealership. Even after the sale, David has been in touch with us to make sure we were satisfied. He’s a kind, experienced, and genuine salesman.

Fantastic Experience! From the moment we walked in the door everyone was so nice! The showroom was clean and spacious. We brought our 4 year old and they put Disney Jr on the TV and she was happy! Our Daughter had been leasing Mazda’s for six years. Her current lease was about to expire so we went looking for another vehicle to replace her current Mazda 6. Due to the Covid pandemic anyone looking for a new vehicle soon realizes new cars are difficult to come by; unless of course you are willing to purchase fully loaded vehicles that most customers either can’t afford or do not want. After searching for a select base model CX30 with no luck, we were told Lester Glenn Mazda had one left in stock. That evening when we arrived at the dealership to our disappointment the vehicle we had hoped to buy was sold during the day. We were ready to leave the dealership after a disappointing long trip in hopes of finding our daughter a vehicle she could afford when our salesmen Mike told us to wait. He said maybe he could work something out for us on another Mazda CX30 or possibly even a CX5. Naturally I was suspect having bought and leased many new and used cars through the years, and expected the high pressure squeeze to take place. However that is not what happened. Mike did his best to put my daughter into a better vehicle. When my daughter could not come to an agreement of the price of the lease, Roy the sales manager came over to our desk. Once again I expected the squeeze to take place but that did not happen. Roy not only talked reasonable numbers with my daughter, with no pressure, but was able to give her a price that was well beyond our wildest imagination especially given the current car shortage. I found this dealership different then most. The sales staff at Lester Glenn Mazda in Toms River were different then most places I had done business with through the years. Not only did they keep the showroom open well after hours to accommodate our daughter, they seemed to really care about fulfilling her needs. To my amazement our daughter actually drove her new CX5 home within an hour of filling out all the paper work. While her car was being prepped, Roy the salesmanager told us that he loved coming to work each day, and had been with Lester Glenn Mazda for twenty years. I found that these were people who really care about the customers they serve. If your thinking of buying a new Mazda or leasing One, my advice is purchase it from Lester Glenn Mazda. I read on line that one customer came all the way from Connecticut to buy his Mazda. After my experience at Lester Glenn Mazda, I can understand why.

I live in North Jersey and always service my car with Lester Glenn Mazda wether it comes to a oil change or new breaks they always have my business. I’ve never had a issue with anything the customer service is always great. Until I ordered a part for my car waited over a month for the piece and went to go pick it up for it to be the wrong piece! I was then promised it would be ready for pick up the next day, I wasn’t surprised when I called a week later and it was ready for pickup. And this is what I receive a horrible paint job! Not happy at all what a bad experience this time around.

Had a very difficult time buying a Mazda here. I used the Costco search function to find my exact car, agreed to buy it at the given price, and was told multiple dates detailing when it would arrive. After it had missed these deadlines at least 4 times, Lester Glenn stopped picking up my calls. I think there may have been two potential problems: either the price they gave me was mistakenly low and they did not want to offer it or the car simply was not shipped as quickly as they had expected. I understand that people make mistakes, but in either case honesty or responsiveness would have been sufficient. Finally, when I requested my fully-refundable deposit and gave them the credit card information multiple times over a series of months I had to contest the charge to get the money back. This last detail made the whole experience feel like a scam.

About a week or so ago my Husband and I met with Dave about a pre-owned Mazda cx5. The car left the lot faster than we made up our minds on it (not his fault at all) so we eventually decided to just get a new one. We called Dave today and even after showing us a few cars (same model) he still showed us every detail of the car to make sure we knew what we were taking home. The buying process was painless- no surprises. Due to my needing to go home and finish working for the day - Dave even offered to deliver the car to our house when it was ready for us. He spent quite some time making sure that we knew what every little button did, he even set up my bluetooth/apple car play AND the app for my phone. He didnt leave until he made sure that I could do everything by myself without question. But, I have no doubts that If i forget and call tomorrow he would take the time to go over it with me again.My husband and I are not only new to Mazda but new to Lester Glenn as well and we are very thankful that we purchased at this dealership- through Dave. Honestly, buying a car is usually annoying and a bit of a hassle. Not Tim, Not Lester Glenn Mazda in Toms River. Tim Rouke was easy going, understanding and not a pusher. He talked me through the pros and cons and made it very easy to come back to him. Being a human is hard to find in sales men and hes really one of a kind. Would recommend him 10/10 anyday!

We feel totally scammed. Four days ago we purchased a used 2018 Mazda. The car was dented in two places which was not advertised online, but we went ahead and bought it. Since then we have had to replace the serpentine belt and brakes, and repair the cracked window glass. The dealership has been unsympathetic and unwilling to do the repairs themselves. They offered to give us $100 to replace the serpentine belt, but the cheapest mechanic we could find charged us $160. The other issues we’ve had to fix out of pocket. This was my partner’s first car, and it’s so disappointing to have so many issues out of the gate. Their 30 day “warranty” and customer service are almost entirely useless, and we strongly regret our purchase.Find another dealership unless you are looking for unexpected expenses in your first week of ownership!

She answered my questions, promptly called me back, and even helped with my trade in (I was originally planning on selling to carmax). These guys honestly deserve the praise the rest of the reviews are giving. Phil was the honest, attentive, and in-your-corner sales rep that you think doesnt exist in a big glossy dealership. Kevin was the mythical finance guy who explains all of your warranty package options in clear english, never rushes you, and takes the first no for an answer if you decide to pass on the (genuinely surprisingly good) optional warranty packages. When we hit some red-tape speedbumps with my mid-move registration process (that were NO fault of theirs) they still worked like dogs to make it work and keep my business, even for a modestly priced used car. And the pricing/quality ratio is exactly what youre looking for. These guys had all their used inventory priced at excellent deals for quality cars. I test drove three cheaper used mazdas at different dealers that were listed as GREAT DEAL! on cars.com, and they were all wrecked. The one I took home from Lester Glenn was just a couple hundred bucks more on the tag, and WORTH thousands more than the others in quality. Save yourself the time and just go here first.

If you need your vehicle service in a last minute instance, such as a flat tire, don’t even waste your time calling. Service is closed at 330???? And they don’t have any loaners????? Nor are there any technicians available. Great NOT doing business with you, especially as an ex employee :)

Purchased 2 cars here in the last 2 months, everything went smooth, until I found a little rust spot on top of the passenger rear tire well, then its a waiting game, waited over 2 weeks to hear anything back about resolving the issues, me calling multiple times a days leaving voicemail ect. Just for them to offer pretty much a bandaid to cover the rust. Over 60,000 dollars in 2months and cannot fix a little rust issue the rite way, if you want to get the run around this is the place for you, I should of done my research first. I do not recommend. Stay away. Im sure they will respond back trying to defend them selfs with non sense.Take my word and shop around befor settling on this place.

I was worried about this process due to the pandemic. I didn’t want to lease a new car remotely. But the process with Andrew from start to finish was amazing. We communicated two weeks before my appointment and he had made this process a smooth and easy one. This is my second Mazda and I love it. Andrew is very professional and friendly. Lester Glenn is above and beyond the expectation of customer service. I worked with Kevin and Mike. My initial application began July 31... Kevin has me approved that same day but I had to jump through hoops with my other lienholder (that car was totaled). Kevin sat with me and directed me with everything I needed to give him (paperwork, etc.). It took almost a month to receive all the paperwork but Kevin and Mike were so responsive and patient. When I finally had all the paperwork submitted, both Kevin and Mike got me into an awesome car and worked with me in other areas. They were amazing. Kevin was professional and thorough. Amazing guy. Mike was also professional and thorough. He even drove my rental back to the rental place and dropped the keys off. Then he sat with me to program my Bluetooth. Honestly, I am BEYOND satisfied. This place is highly recommended!!!

Lester Glenn Mazda is where you want to go to get a car, hands down. First and foremost, Mazdas are wonderful cars and the entire staff at the dealership is beyond amazing. Tim (the sales person), Kevin (the finance manager) and Pat (the sales manager) went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and my father and let me tell you, our situation was a bit rough. I didnt feel pressured, persuaded. anxious or hopeless. They worked hard for me and my dad and did everything they could and NOW Im in love with my 2020 Mazda CX-5. Guys, I cant thank you enough, truly!
