This company and owner went above and beyond for me! The insurance we currently have wanted roof repairs completed within a month and to make sure insurance was satisfied the owner personally emailed the insurance company and copied myself with our contract for roof and approximate completion deadline. This was not included in their services but just a way they went above and beyond. Definitely care about there customers. I appreciate their excellent customer service and professionalism. We contacted Residential Renovations to get a quote on installing a new roof. We did not “shop around” as we had confidence in the company and the people who work for them. There was an overall quick turn around from when we paid to when the roof was installed (approx. 1 month) and the contractors that they used were extremely professionally, clean and worked hard in the hot heat of the summer. I would only suggest that the sales person have samples that they could show to the client of the products they use, so there is no confusion on color choices or matching to similar colors. I enjoyed working with the company and the contractors they use.

The crew of Mike and John were great. Would recommend them to anyone wanting new windows. They deserve a pay raise.

From start to finish, Scott, Walt and his crew were professional and easy to work with. The price Scott quoted was fair with no additional hidden costs. Walt and his crew were hard working, friendly, polite and easy to talk to. They were very tidy and conscientious by cleaning up at the end of each day. In addition, they protected our pool from debris and dust by covering it. All excess materials, waste and garbage was removed. Walt did an excellent job with communication as we were always notified days/times when crews and building inspectors would arrive. We are very happy with the results and would definitely hire them again for any future projects . Didnt show up for the first scheduled estimate for a new roof. They gave me the highest estimate out of 3 without even getting up on my roof like the other 2 companies did. I asked for the estimate to be emailed to me twice and never received it. Very unprofessional all the way around in my opinion.

Had siding installed on entire 2 story house and 5 new windows installed upstairs. I give Residential Renovations a 5+ star rating. The crew ( there were 4 of them) were the epitome of professionalism, hard working and they worked so well together. Guy the supervisor always kept us informed as to what was going on. We were totally impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone. And when they were finished...the clean up they did was fantastic....you would never know anyone was there, not one piece of paper was on the ground. Great work, by a great crew with Residential Renovations.

We had Residential Renovations do our windows, remove to huge sky lights and install a window where there wasnt a window. The windows came in early which was nice considering everything that is going on in the world today. There were a couple of issues through out the process but they were taken care of right away. First was the color of the wrap was incorrect. the quick remedy for this was Guy the general manager drove to Michigan to the manufacture and picked up the correct color this just postponed the wrapping of the windows by a day. The second was the clean up after they did the windows. My wife and was walking around looking at the the window and she stepped on a nail. After taking care of her we looked around and there were several screws and nails laying in the yard and even found a couple in the house. We informed Guy about this and we didnt have any further issues with the clean up. After the windows were finished they installed the the new window. That took a day but the finished product looked great. The final project was removing of the skylights. These skylights were 6x6 and they leaked like crazy. They pulled the first skylight out towards the end of the day and they were calling for rain that night. They pulled the window and quickly covered the hole with new OSB and felt temporarily and called it a night. The rain came and it came with a vengeance. The issue that we had was their temporary covering did not work well the roof leaked bad. Water ran down our ceiling fan and in several other places. I texted Guy right away and he said that someone would be out in the morning to fix the roof. They did come out the next morning and redid the roof. They worked thought the rain and cold on a Saturday but when they were finished it did not leak any more. Due to the weather they had to wait a couple of days to finish the other skylight. Every thing was finished in a little over a week. Not to bad considering the weather played a key factor in the delay. We have had some good rain since then and no leaks. We asked them to wrap one other window that we didnt replace but it faced the road and we wanted all the windows to match. Normally this is an extra charge but due to the mess and the leaking roof they did not charge me for the extra wrap. We are planning on having another new construction window installed and will have Residential Renovations do the work for us. They may have had some issues during the job but they were quick to correct them. all in all a pretty good job.

Residential renovations put a metal roof on my house a couple years ago. Looks great, doesnt leak (afaik). Problem is they installed a chimney cap and it fell off, maybe due to wind, idk. Called several times to have them reinstall. First time they said they would be out in a couple of days. I called several times after that with no response. Edit: Chimney cap has been fixed. The owner contacted me shortly after I posted review. He said he was unaware of my chimney cap issue, as messages were not relayed to him due to short staff because of covid. All is well now. I am happy with the work they did and adjusted rating accordingly.

Moline United Methodist Church had our Church roof completely replaced. It was Leaking. Residential Renovations was recommend to me to take care of this job. I called and Bart Turner called and set a time to look at the roof and give the Church and estimate. Because of the total cost to ether repair or replace I had to ask the Church District Office to get the project approved . This pushed replacement of the roof late in the year. The roofing crew worked around snow, rain and wind but got the roof completely replaced . It looks good and the job Foreman Jeremy was excellent to work with. The work on my roof was excellent. I had a particularly difficult roof to do because my house was built in 1907, with very steep inclines and had a number of shingle layers on it..which was against code. My roof was completely torn off and rebuilt. My peoperty was left spotless because the crew made sure that no debris from the job remained. The company was very helpful with the financing, too. Theyll work with you! Theyre very detailed with the services they provide and theyre honest and dependable. This is THE BEST roofing company in NW Ohio.

Ive had 10 windows, a door, and a large patio slider -all replaced in my 100 year old house . The windows are triple-pane, have full screens for both bottom and top opening and have excellent warranties. Residential Renovations did such a great job that I asked them to replace my old wooden front porch with composite as well as new columns and stairs rails. What a nice difference it has made to my house. The workers were helpful and professional and their timing was as predicted. Excellent work.

Initial Displeasure. Lingering Foul Taste.Residential Renovations acted quickly. Perhaps too quickly...The roof doesnt appear to leak. Based on other work done on project, lets see how long that lasts...They may be qualified for roofing, keep them away from siding and framing.A. Make sure homeowners are present before entering a building. Make sure you have permission before entering.B. Follow directions. Keeping trim was a small request that would make finish work for the homeowner much simpler.C. Measure twice, cut once. I had a door walled off. The framing depth is way off. Exterior siding is uneven, and looks shoddy. Drywall on the inside is off by 1/2 from existing stud to new stud. Half baked homeowner special remedies will have to be implemented to make this look half way decent.D. Tar all of your exposed nails. Pick up any excess roofing nails. I found several during painting. Ill be very displeased if my tire finds one.E. Dont put advertising signs in The Devils Strip. This is an Akronite term, I like a lot. This is that section of lawn between the sidewalk and road that a homeowner is responsible for, but the city technically owns. Anything placed there is an illegal sign.F. Dont use me as advertisement without explicit consent. Im generally displeased with the work, and I dont appreciate random signs going up in my yard, beyond those that make it easier for workers to identify which property should be worked on.G. Bill upon affirmed customer satisfaction, rather than upon completion. There was a big rush to get paid before any affirmation of job satisfaction.

Beware of lies! I had a contract with Residential Renovations to complete a roofing project on my newly purchased home. After a month of not starting the project, Scott Pratt called and informed me that there would be a price increase of 4,500$ due to Covid-19 and material cost increase.I informed Scott I would call the manufacturer of the product and see about the pricing increase. I did, in fact, call ATAS Roofing and was informed there was NO PRICE INCREASE. After informing Scott he then changed to that they miscalculated the roof and cost associated...even with a digital measurement and multiple emails confirming the price and measurements were correct.The next time I spoke to Scott he was curious if I was in construction....Probably because I caught him in a lie about product cost...but maybe Im just a well informed customer that does her due diligence on product cost and information.Scott refused to communicate with myself, or make the official request to the bank, through email, about the price increase or adhere to the contract he signed to start work within 30days.I hate to think of how many individuals Scott has tricked into believing there is a material price increase due to Covid.Stay away and use an honest company!

We love our sliding door. It totally changed the look of the kitchen and or deck. Next year we will be planning to use them on our next project.

He came in and done a wonderful job cleaned up everything when he was all done he did a really good job for this pandemic thats going on and everything it took a minute but they did great and I would have do other work for me when Im ready

If I could give them negative 100 stars I would, they don’t communicate, order windows tell you they will be here by a date day comes and goes and never call you, eventually windows come after you riding them, installer ( if that’s what you wanna call him ) more like complainer shows up and opens up house job is bigger or harder than he thought left my house open to the elements, bugs, whatever else. Anyway they hire subcontractors not even own people and had to wait on another subcontractor of there to do job, waited 4 plus months on windows and almost 3 weeks from time started to finish of job, and windows are junk, sliding glass door has imperfections but they ain’t doing anything they just want there money, Scott and Guy are two of the worst businessmen I have ever came across, my house is 40 years old and I was gonna give them a lot of work, but they will never see another penny of mine, do yourself a favor stay away from this company you will save yourself a lot of money and the me and headaches

We bought an adjustable pergola from Residential Renovations, and we absolutely could not be happier with the job they did. Salesman Bart was very professional and personable, and did not try to talk us into more than we wanted. We finally settled on what we wanted, but later changed our minds and decided to go bigger. When construction manager Walt showed up and we tossed him that curveball, he had no problem adjusting his plans to fit our new requirements.We were warned up front that there could be considerable delays in getting the materials due to increased demand, COVID issues, etc., but the material showed up sooner than expected, and it was two months almost to the day from when we first called RR to when our pergola was up.Walt and his merry men showed up and knocked out the entire job in less than a day.Weve already had several comments from friends and neighbors on our new addition, and we cant wait til warmer weather arrives again so we can really use it and have friends over -- socially distancing, of course -- to enjoy it with us. Whenever somebody asks us where we got it, were quick to give RR the credit, and once people get to check out the remote-control movable louvers atop our pergola, RR may be getting a bunch of calls from this area.We checked several reviews before choosing RR for our pergola, and now we can add our names to the growing list of more-than-satisfied customers.

The installation of the CertainTeed Cedar Impressions Siding was excellent. Made a huge improvement to our home. Trouble came from the aluminum trim and caulking. They came back a second time to correct some of the caulking mess. The aluminum trim is the worst Ive ever had on a home. The trim they removed was better than what they left me with.Your reply said you wish you had known sooner. I told them when they were doing the trim installation that I didnt like some of it. One area was redone but others were just left the way they were.After another repair was made to the aluminum trim it looks a lot better. If the last two men had done the whole project it would have turned out a lot better.

Thanks Scott.Ran into this company last year at a Toledo Walleye game. Tom Neiswender was sent out to give us an estimate. Not only did he come 2 hours early but he promised to send an aerial view quote to us, still have not received that . Then we ran into them again at the Allen county fair here in Lima and were promised someone would come out. Edmond called us 2 hours before the person was to come out and said he was running late due to making a sale and they would have to reschedule us.Still have not hear from them and that was last week. Horrible customer service.

I had a small project that I was hoping to save time by paying someone to finish for me. Shingle a small section of new roof, tar paper already installed, and throw some flashing up a seam. Supplies cost me $600 and will take me a day to complete with two friends helping. This place quoted me over $3800. No thanks guys. The other four quotes I got didnt exceed $1500.

Residential Renovations is a top notch home improvement company when it comes to roofing and windows in my book! They did a great job installing our new roof and windows....plus they offered a really great combo price I couldnt find any where else - even after 5 estimates! I did go with a metal roof and Certainteed insulated siding. Our roof looks really sharp with the metal roofing and the new siding makes the house look like a whole new house! My husband and I loved working with the staff and crew. They were very informative from beginning to the end. We are considering a new pergola with a deck or maybe even a sunroom next year. I am very not satisfied with the inferior wood that was used and the attitudes that the wood is suppose to look inferior and I should accept for the most part most of the wood that is splitting and cracking but they will replace some of the boards when all of the boards should be replaced and started over with quality wood they tried to get away with using poor quality wood for the porch they built for me but in only a few weeks time the no good wood told on them it started to split and crack and the rotted parts of the wood was very un slightly and I am very dissatisfied with the wood and the workmanship and the attitudes.
