Not happy about my experience here. My key was stuck in my ignition but I was able to drive the vehicle in. The diagnosis charge was a total of $159. I thought the labor chargers were too high so I asked to take my vehicle back to take to a mechanic but they took everything apart including the steering wheel and when I asked for them to put it back together they stated that it’s no point because the next person that works on it would have to take it all apart anyways. My jeep was parked in the back of the service center with the driver side window down but no power and no way to roll the window back up. I made Arrangements to have the vehicle towed and I told the service member that the tow truck would be there after they closed. He said that wasn’t an issue but once the tow truck got there all of the gates were shut so I couldnt have it towed….. that was more money wasted. I am highly upset that my vehicle is left there overnight with the window down and no power. I never heard of a taking in a vehicle anywhere that was able to be driven in but not driven out due to a diagnosis. I hope someone can help me with this. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a service center.

Overall a good experience. We were kept well-informed/updated throughout the time Yark had our vehicle and they dealt directly with insurance, taking that effort off our plate. They were helpful in answering a variety of questions that the insurance provider (we were rear-ended, so we had to deal with that person’s insurance company), was being difficult about. The only annoyance was that the check engine light had come on when I picked up my vehicle (not sure if the light had come on prior to me getting in the car to pick up), due to a low battery warning. Yark did work with me to make sure the low battery issue got resolved.

The service writer was courteous and my truck was taken in quickly and the job was done in a good and timely manner.Ty informed me that my tires needed replacement as the fronts were worse than the rears and said he would rather keep the better tires in the back for traction. I appreciate that rather then just doing the tire rotation and not saying anything.Thanks Ty, good job!

The radiator went out in my Jeep and when I initially spoke to the service department they asked that I bring it in right away and they would work me into the schedule. I dropped off the vehicle without issue and was told that the radiator could take a week a two because it was on back order. The following day I was contacted that my Jeep was ready to be picked up! Sabrina M. had located a dealership that had extra radiators for my Jeep so I wouldn’t have to wait. Everyone at Yark Central Ave. Service Dept. went above and beyond!

My car went in for service on Thursday, 9/2, at 8:00 am. The appointment was for an oil change, tire rotation, front end alignment, A/C charge and investigate why my A/C blower is noisy and not pushing much air. I was told Thursday evening that they have only had time to do the oil change and tire rotation and would need another day to complete the work. I agreed to leave the vehicle. My service representative took the day off on Friday and no one told me. I called several times before I could actually get a person to help me, as they kept transferring me to various voicemails. Absolutely nothing happened on Friday, which was probably because Chase was out and no one covered him. But that is no excuse for the AC not to get charged and the front end aligned. Yark had the car 2 full days and only managed to change the oil and rotate the tires. I think, given that I had an appointment that I waited a month for, it was not too much to ask that all that be completed in a 2 day period. I understand, if they could not figure out why the blower to my AC is making noise but the rest should have been completed in that time frame.So with that said, I took my business elsewhere and the work was completed within 3 hours and they were happy to help me and appreciated an opportunity for my business.Over the last 20 years, my family has been dedicated to Tom Duff and the Yark team. So, Im very disappointed this happened and that my business was not valued.

From the moment I arrived, the associate greeted me at my car, and I told him that I had an appointment. He was very comical, which made me feel very comfortable because after a long day working with people who are not so kind, it was a breath of fresh air and I felt more relaxed instead of anxious. The associate discussed everything that they were going to do to my car and he also discussed why those things were important. Two of the associates saw my name tag and asked what I did for the company I work for. Taking an interest in me personally put the icing on the cake. Yark is a place I will come to for all my vehicle needs, now and in the future to come.

We purchased our daughter a used Ford Escape from Tyler at Yark. We scheduled an appointment with Tyler to see one of the vehicles that we had found online. After arriving and looking at the initial car, of which was okay but didnt provide that Special Feeling, Tyler devoted quite a bit of time to us during our search. My daughter had a lot of boxes that she wanted checked before she decided to make the purchase and Tyler didnt hesitate to show her the vehicles that were in stock that he felt would meet with her approval. After we looked at 4 or 5 other vehicles he showed her the Escape and her eyes lit up and the smile came on her face. This car was exactly what she wanted. He was able to find the car that she had described. After looking at so many vehicles, our purchase took longer than we had anticipated. Tyler and the staff at Yark stayed around after the dealership had closed so that we could finalize the purchase. We had a small problem with the vehicle a short time later and the Sales Manager, Tim Duncan called me to inform me that he had a resolution to our problem and that everything would be taken care of. We could not have been happier.We are a Ford Family (we currently have 5 in our household) and now that Yark has acquired Kessler Ford, this will become our 1 stop shop for all of our future vehicle purchases. The commitment of the Yark staff to their customers is well above what one expects to find at a car dealership. This really became apparent when we considered the fact that they went out of their way to make us happy after we purchased a Used vehicle. I can only imagine how well be treated once we purchase our next New vehicle from them! With Customer Service like this... they have won us over!Thanks to All of you at Yark Automotive! You guys have set the bar quite high and I doubt if any other dealership would even attempt to step up to this level to make a customer happy.

They got me in quickly for an unscheduled oil change. I did make the suggestion that when getting in and out of the vehicles that they try not to touch the doors. I had grease and oil hand prints up and down mine. I appreciate the fact that they apologized for this BUT they did not even offer to clean it off. That is the only reason for 2 ⭐

Yark had my Jeep Grand Cherokee for 8 weeks to fix power steering. It still isnt fixed after returning it several times. They are understaffed and have no interest in actually solving the issue. The answer is to just quit answering my messages and tell me its as good as any vehicle that year even though I have a vehicle much older that drives better and my lawn mower is easier to steer. My suggestion would be to find a reliable independent that cares about their reputation. Waste of 2600 dollars.

I had placed a large dent in the left front quarter panel of a 2007 Toyota Tundra pickup. Took it to Yark Toyota dealer in Maumee who stated that the dealership does not do the work it needs to go to the collision center. I made appt to have estimate, and make appt to have repaired, this was done on 9-20-21. The front left quarter panel was paid for at this time of appt. the first available repair date was for Oct 18.2021. I also scheduled a dent to be repaired in the truck bed, left side, pound out and touch up paint.On oct18,2021 I dropped off truck and asked how long repair would take. I was told 2, maybe 3 days. Which put it at Wednesday, or maybe Thursday.On Wed Oct 20 called and spoke to female who checked on the truck and stated it would not be ready until Thursday, at least the afternoon. That they needed to wait for paint to dry and they would detail truck when done. Also had to wait for 20 minutes to even have the phone answered, to get these answers.On Thursday Oct 21 called and was transferred to a voicemail of a male. A few hours later he called back and stated the damage was worse than expected to the dent in the truck bed. It was more than a dent, the metal had been stretched and needed more repair. The estimate was now more, which I expected. But the truck would now not be ready until at least Monday by the time the repair was made. They also had to wait for the paint to bake, he also stated he was going to have truck detailed, because the dust from the repair. He stated that they had called in morning, which came up a different number, but no message was left.On Monday Oct 25 I called in the afternoon and asked about details of truck. Was told now that it would not be done until Wednesday at the earliest. Explained my displeasure that 2 maybe 3 days is turning into over a week for repair. I was then told, I don’t know why you were told 2 or 3 days, it won’t be don’t until at least Wednesday.On Tuesday Oct 26 at 520pm received call and told me that the truck just came back from detail, it was ready for pick up. Yep, they close at 530pmWent to pick up truck at noon on Wednesday Oct 27. Paid the balance and was told your truck’s outside. No one walked out to make sure repairs were okay or show me what had been done.The work was okay at best on the quarter panel. The paint is a shade off and very noticeable. The truck bed was awesome can’t tell where any damage was. It was like two separate people worked on truck. If they didn’t blend in the quarter panel and painted it separately I could have had repair done in 2 days. The part was ordered a month prior and could have been replaced when I arrived. The truck bed was worked on and the paint blended in very well. Have no complaints with that work at all.In conclusion. My 2 maybe 3 day repair work turned into 9 days. The work was okay. Not really worried about a 14 year old truck that will be traded in soon. However, this was not dealership work. I could have taken it anywhere, received the same work and in probably less time. I don’t think I will be taking any vehicles back to yark collision and will definitely shop around. I thought for sure the work would be better, and it was just not there. Again, for the amount of time, the quality of repair I would recommend shopping around. (The detailing of the truck consisted of a car wash. Not a big deal by any means, they just have a different definition of detailing a vehicle than I do).

We drove two hours away to see a particular vehicle. The car was great, the experience could have been better. Upon arrival, the original car that we went to look at was waiting for us. When we were given the keys to test drive it, it was immediately evident how dirty it was. Left over wrappers were left in the back seats. Once we returned to the lot, we had a few concerns. Naturally, it’s a used car. But our sales guy Danny, was not so receptive to our feed back. I got the sense that he was personally offended. Which was strange. He would talk over us constantly too. Making it hard to ask follow up questions. Maybe a salesman’s tactic? Who knows. It’s was rude. Once we told him we were not interested in the car due to cosmetic issues, We asked to see another vehicle. It would literally take him like 30 minutes just to bring the car around and every time we were told “they needed to put gas in them.” There was an ungodly amount of delays left and right. After we asked to see one final vehicle (we drove 2.5 hours away, we wanted to make the most of our trip) we felt like we were inconveniencing him. Not the greatest feeling when you’re about to drop thousands of dollars. We ultimately ended up taking a car I fell in love with. I just had a sour taste in my mouth with the experience. Just a heads up, the cars are dirty. All three had someone’s left overs. The strangest thing for a dealership not to start off with a good first impression. They promised to detail my car before pickup, it was left exactly the same with a big red stain in the trunk. My husband brought it to the sales managers attention and he made it right by giving us a detailing voucher. I wouldn’t return simply from the experience.

Set up an appointment, dropped off vehicle for appointment it took them 17 days to get to it stating they were backed up. When they finally got to it, it was a simple 15 minute fix some kind of software update. Question is why make an appointment just to let the vechile set on the lot for 17 days. I dont know of anyone who doesnt need to use their vehicle for that long and yes it was useable it was not a breakdown just a service light.

We took a 2016 Jeep Cherokee in to have the back quarter panel fixed get the car back the car back the heater is making a loud noise when the heater is on was not that way when we sent it in have called twice now to try to get the car in theyre out for 2 months and we got rude attitude from the lady on the phone We were told your work was guaranteed for life but when we try to take it in and have it fixed we get the run around. The funny part is the heater should have never been touched to begin with. And the problem was pointed out there when the car was picked up and still insisted that they did nothing wrong

Let me start by saying that I love the 2020 Ram 1500 that I purchased at Yark. The salesman and the finance people were great.Then my truck needed service. I called to schedule my truck at the end of June. My appointment was August 9. When I called to confirm my appointment on August 6, they said they didnt see my truck on the schedule. I was told that they could try to squeeze me in sometime in the next week or two. When I told them that I needed a loaner they said that would require a longer wait. I said thats ok, so they scheduled me for an appointment at 8:30 on August 25 with a loaner. When I arrived on the 25th my appointment stated nothing about a loaner. They offered to shuttle me home, or I could wait. I chose to wait. I looked at my truck sitting in the parking lot till 10:28, even though I had an 8:30 appointment. By 11:10 my truck was done.I dont blame the guys in the garage. Theyre just working on vehicles as they come in. Today, Wayne assisted me and he was great. The problem seems to be with whoever is scheduling these appointments.Before I left they said my truck was part of a recall, and I would have to schedule an appointment when the parts come in. They said that scheduling would be able to make sure that I get a loaner. Fingers crossed.

My salesman was GREAT. (Brandon Osborn) I am a picky person..and he allowed me to be picky without making me feel like I was being annoying about everything.The financial department was not my favorite because they try to shove that extra warranty down your throat...and I said no once....I said no twice...I Said NO THREEEE TIMES! HAHA still a nice person tho...and I never heard of a FICO auto score 4....that threw me a curve ball I wasnt happy about..if you think you have an excellent credit score...I would check places other than Credit Karma before heading in so you arent blind sided...I would go back here though...it was an overall good experience! Martin took really good care of us. Our engine blew up in our Chrysler 300 and was completely covered by our warranty. The problem was the engine was on back order but they helped us out with some extra free rental days. These guys know what theyre doing because the 300 is back stronger than ever.

Ive been shopping around for a cargo van for a couple weeks. I stumbled upon a Nissan on yarks website. I was told to fill out the credit app to save time in the process. (I live an hour away) I submitted it. I received a call stating they had the Nissan van listed for sale on the website, but turns out they arent selling it. Apparently they bought it to be a company vehicle. I was transferred to 4 people and nobody could explain it. So after hours on the phone and a hard inquiry on my credit report, for no reason. I was pretty much told to go look somewhere else for my vehicle needs.

Jay took the time to explain what was happening. It did take longer than the 45 minutes than I was told, was an hour. But overall, good service. I recommend having an easy, very visible phone number to call for oil changes - so many numbers, got confusing. I was transferred, and placed on hold with no answer. Called back and had to navigate the phone system.

The bar was set pretty high when I was ready to drive from Detroit to Toledo, just to get what I wanted. Im very weary when it comes to car sales and your typical robotic salesmen in a male dominated industry. Its very important for me, as a female, to share my experience. Grant was such a pleasure to work with! Being my unfamiliarity with Toledo, I asked Grant to come along for my test drive. I am very happy with my purchase of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The dealership is in a great location, the selection is mind boggling, and the professionalism is above and beyond. They want to charge over MSRP on a vehicle because the market justifies it, imagine if we did in healthcare during a pandemic because we dont have enough qualified people to work in our field. I was very impressed from the time I pulled up I was welcomed with Great customer service and they were very courteous to my daughter. They were thorough and fast. Five-star experience.(UPDATE:)My check engine light came on after leaving the service station. I called and was told to give it sometime because the car might need time to settle. Waited for 1 to 2 days and the light never went off. Called to inform them that the car was not starting right up, I was told as long as the engine light isn’t flashing we should be fine. So I had to wait a week. The car was acting like it didn’t want to start so I took it to autozone they stated it was a oil sensor. I took it to yark service the day of my appointment and was told I would have to pay $130.00 for a diagnostic test .Even though the light didn’t come on until I left them, and I had a paper stating what was wrong because I had it checked at autozone. They said they can’t use that and that I had to pay the $130.00plus to get the car checked, upset I did it because I had my 4 yr old with me. They check the car and said it was the battery I said are you sure? The stated yes, autozone doesn’t check everything like we do. Pay $350.00plus just to get home an hour later and the engine light comes back on! I called, no responds so I went up there and they check it in the lane and say ITS THE OIL SENSOR!!!! And I would have to pay $289.00 plus even though that’s what I told them and they said it’s not possible because their diagnostic is more powerful and now I have to pay again! Did I even need the battery!?! Please be very cautious here, and get a second opinion this isnt right.

Made a appointment to have a recall done, it was for the first slot in the morning. They let me know around 3 that they hadnt started the job yet and needed another day. Their excuse was just because you make a appointment doesnt mean its going to be done that day.
