30 minute wait, soggy noodles in Pad thi. We paid $40 for 3 orders. Very little seasoning and AWFUL noodles. Don’t waist your money or time. Yuck
Tried this out tonight for the first time and it was so good. I will be returning. They were out of a couple things I had to sub out, but still was amazing. I got the Pad see-eew medium spicy tofu and spring rolls. I love hole in the wall family owned restaurants. Will be recommending this.
1. The Google page says they have dine in but they actually dont which is disappointing because I drove 30 minutes to there so I can eat in. I should have called ahead but I assumed the page was up to date. The food was just okay and they wanted only cash. My friends curry tasted so heavily of Basil that it tasted like chemicals. My curry was fine but it wasnt as good as the other places here in r the area.
My sons each ordered Pad Thai, and both really liked it. I had the Green Curry, which was OK -- the Green Curry could have used a bit more sauce, but was good.
Pad Thai was flavorless. Red curry was no where near red and only had chili powder sprinkled over the top of it. Not worth eating.
Best thai food in the area, made fresh every time with care and reasonable prices clean careful restaurant.
Great place, super friendly owner who knows how to cook! Excellent Thai food!
I ordered pad cashew with chicken. 4 pieces of chicken, 3 cashews, in a terrible brown sauce. Probably the worst Thai food Ive ever eaten.
Ordered meals to go, delicious!
Personally i have to say best thai in the immediate area, fair portion sizes cost efficient excellent chx pad thai (i always order extra chx)egg rolls are slammin they used to carry ramune but i dont think they do anymore however they do have some nice coco juices
Loved the food! Had shrimp summer rolls with peanut sauce, shrimp rolls (wrapped in a fried wonton wrapper), & panang curry. Delicious, & the perfect level of spiciness (for me, 3 on a 5-pt scale). Service was ok, but the place is small, and part restaurant, part grocery store. If Im ever in Toledo, Ill make sure to stop here again!
Curry was good, pad thai was decent.. if you can, pay with cash because they charge $1 to use your card..
Over chargerd and completely messed up the order after waiting over 20 minutes for the food.
Delicious dishes and just the right amount of spiciness at medium spice level. Great, friendly customer service. Was cash only during pandemic.
Very friendly service and and tasty food. Green tea bubble tea is particularly great. There a grocery store attached to it that has a bunch of neat food items.
Always have the best Pau ti
Pretty good food! Pretty nice people! The Chiang Mai fried rice is awesome!
Very tasty pad thai
Yummy yummy in my tummy 😊
Sometimes they are out of a few things but its covid time what are you gonna do. Otherwise food is great
Best Thai in town!
There is no mask requirement mandate at this time 9/20/21. i was picking up to go and the owner said im required to wear mask. i said im sorry i dont have one. then she said 11$ then i said im sorry and thank you and she walked away. i said thank you again loud she ignored . i will never ever patronize again. simple courtesy you fool
Best thai food in town.
Little Thai lady that makes everything to order! I always get the Tom Yum with chicken and Pork Larb. Its absolutely authentic! You wont be disappointed.
Love this place! Order it on a weekly basis and it has never disappointed. Very authentic, fresh food & the staff/owner are super sweet
Great food, everything was delicious and the spiciness was wonderful as well! I would definitely good back and recommend it to anyone! Everything we got was good and the egg rolls were amazing. We had Shrimp Fried Rice, Curry Chicken, Eggs Rolls and Crab Rangoon! I must say I licked the plate..... SORT OF...... BUT I DID LICK MY FINGERS!
I absolutely love this place! I usually order the Pad Thai and it always delicious. I come here at once a week.
I love this place. Authentic and delicious...they rock!!
I purchased some food today and there was a bug in my food .I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.
I am the type of eater who likes a nicely proportioned sandwich - not too much meat, not to much bread - and a good amount of toppings and mayo or some kind of sauce. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it is just a large portion of meat and bread. Not my style.
Great food, great flavor, and very reasonable prices! Also has a wonderful little grocery store for some ingredients not typically sold in US stores
We spent $30 on a meal for two and we disliked it so much we didn’t even eat it. No peanuts on the Pad Thai, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, and to top it all off, our order was wrong. Instead of fixing it, they claimed they attempted to call me (Not sure what good a phone call would have done to fix my order) and never remade the correct order. Needless to say, will not be eating here again.
Small but food tastes good. Also the price and the quality are nice too. Quick in getting the order ready. You can ask for your spicy level at the time of order and they prepare for it.
Great food and a really sweet owner who runs the place.Ive gotten Curry every time I went and loved it, but she insists that I try something else just to make sure I dont get tired if the same thing.Ive had friends who get other things here though (like the duck soup and Curry which were also amazing). And we find it easy to come back time and time again to enjoy a nice meal with a tai iced tea (which is also amazing at a affordable price).Good food. Great price. I recommend 👌
Had an excellent night out. Timely service with a large crowd. Great food and drinks. Wish seats were more comfortable but with enough to drink the stiffness soon is ignored.
Very good pad Thai
Great little hole in the wall Thai place with a small grocery attached (fancy dining this aint). The pad thai is great, of course, but if you like spicy get the green papaya salad, its amazing (and addictive). The kids got fried octopus for the adventurous one, and tofu soup for the pickier one and neither was unhappy. Everything is reasonably priced and you can pick up some interesting stuff in the grocery portion.
Good pad seew. Get the medium spicey for an added flavor kick.
Great Curry! We ordered the pot stickers, pad Thai and red curry. It was a great meal, not too spicy and came quickly!
The food was good; the value was great. We split the fresh spring roll as an appetizer, and an entre of chicken, broccoli, and mushrooms. The bill was $15. Dont be thrown off by the rustic tables/atmosphere, the food is legit.
Very tasty thai food, especially for my first time with Thai food. The restaurant atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the service was nice and the food was relatively cheap. I would definitely visit again, and they have an interesting selection of grocery items for purchase as well.
REALLY great thai food. I got the usual Pad Thai (spicy) with some spring rolls and fried rice and I thought it was really, really good, especially for the price. Owner was Super friendly. I would definitely go back. Thanks Toledo Thai! UPDATE: JUST voted for you, best Thai in Toledo. You guys have been so consistent and your customer service CANT be topped.
Great food, decent portions.
Honestly the food here is a hidden gem of Toledo. One of my all time favorite places. Highly recommend the Pad See Yu. Small dining area but its never too busy inside.
I’ve been eating with her for years, Food has ALWAYS been awesome and timely for being only her and another doing all the cooking.IF you want real Authentic Thai food it’s you found it!
Small restaurant and grocery store for Southeast Asian food. I ordered the Chiang Mai Fried Rice and loved it. It reminded me of Thailand. I would definitely recommend!
I work blocks from this restaurant. After two visit, I will never step foot into this restaurant again. The food is skimpy, missing cabbage with Larb. If you’re ordering $60 worth of food, at least put cabbage as required with the menu item. Telling me that people don’t usually eat it so you didn’t include it with order doesn’t work for me. If the food order comes in, forget going to the bathroom, you aren’t allowed to wash your hands or use the restroom. If you are looking for a Thai restaurant, spend the extra 10 min to drive to MAUMEE Bangkok Kitchen-excellent professional restaurant, with food that isn’t skimpy...bang for your buck more.
Best Thai food in Toledo!!! Everything Ive tried is fresh and absolutely amazing, including the curry, noodles, entrees, drinks, apps, etc. Great service, too. I would recommend to anyone!
Great food, interesting little market with hard to find items and friendly and prompt service! I got the Tom khan soup, Panang curry, and pad thai and they were all great.
Best Thai food in Toledo! I love shopping on their little grocery store while waiting for my food to be finished
I am Thai. I give the restaurant 5 stars, because they serve authentic Thai food, street food flavor style. We found Toledo Thai restaurant while traveling this area and was hungry for real Thai food, and we were glad we found this place. Thanks!
Food is delicious. Atmosphere is cozy and quiet. I go often & never had a bad dish. I mostly get my dishes with tofu. Favorites are drunken noodle and the panaag curry.
Great Thai food. Owners are nice and friendly. Go here alot, its fantastic. In the past few months they moved a grocery into the restaurant. You can get food to go.
Gave us the the wrong order and when we complained, she insisted she doesn’t make mistakes taking orders even though she didn’t write anything down. Didn’t offer to remake it or anything. I was forced to eat something i didn’t want. The food was pretty good though.
Really delicious thai food! Its a good price for the portions you get, and very fresh ingredients. Just beware-- if you ask for spicy you will get SPICY!
This place has great food but horrible service. Don’t come in an hour before closing they won’t serve you. Don’t order too much food or they will tell you it’s too much. To bad for this place we won’t be returning.
Amazing everytime
The food is delicious! I think most of the business is take out- due to the fact the restaurant is small/has no atmosphere?? We’ve dined in several times, and have had the restaurant to ourselves (besides ppl coming in to pickup their food)
Poor quality, not pleased by the price. Food was alright. I don’t recommend for picky people
Great food... don’t get level 5 spicy unless your ready for it!
I have eaten here multiple times - always good except they have gotten really cheap with the meat portions - I just order 3 orders of L5 and total we received 9 pieces of beef ......... Toledo Thai - you can do better than that
One of my top 10 restaurants in town if never had Thai food try the chicken pad Thai spicy number one or not at all if youre not a spicy person. spicy number 4 or 5 just melts your mouth
The food and Thai tea are always delicious. Friendly people.
Very good casual Thai place. One of our favorite lunch spots in Toledo. Food has a decent amount of heat at the highest level. The panang curry has a nice flavour.
Great food I get the pad thai
We love this place and will even travel across town to get thier food
This restaurant is amazing. Some of the best Thai food Ive had... And Ive even been to Thailand! Green curry is my favorite but the shrimp wonton and Pad Thai are delicious as well.
Simple small place. Amazing Thai food.
The food is okay so I might do a take out here, but the service always feel like Im in a third world country. Hard to get water at the table. Long wait for orders. Not very customer-friendly. Cramped. Cold went during the winter since the door opens right to the seating dining area. 6 people at the table not enough rice served, had to ask for more twice.
Best Thai food in Toledo. Weve lived a lot of places and spoiled for authentic Thai....but found it here! So happy!
It was very good. 👍
Excellent food, very fresh. I have tried many and this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Toledo area..
Great Thai food
Most delicious thai food Ive had in the Toledo region. Ive been coming here for 3 years now with my wife. The curries are our favorite. Havent had anything less than great.
Friendly staff, amazing food. There is also a little market for a person to buy and make their own food.
If you like hot curry try this place.
Great good at a great price, cant be beat
Authentic Thai food. Comforting and consistently wonderful every time.
My good was great but my friend found a really long hair in her pad Thai.
Enjoyed the pad Thai. Expect the service to be slow. Server was very young and had to ask server to bring very basic items.
Toledo Thai is hands down the best Thai restaurant in TOL. Have never dined in, but the meals are consistent and delish! Highly recommend!
Coconut shrimp was very good. Most average and more importantly AUTHENTIC... Two visits here
Good staff and Great quality food
Wonderful environment, and not just that if you have a desire to make authentic Thai food at home. Toledo Thai has a indoor Thai mart 😄😄🖒🖒
Super creamy and amazing pad thai. Also the crab Ragoon is orgasmic. The lady who serves is always so cheerful, it brightens my day everytime!!!!
This place is horrible. Small portions and unfriendly staff. A friend and I sat there for an hour waiting for the food. They ended up yelling at us, calling us cheap and told us to go eat at McDonald’s when we complained. Please save your time and money and DONT GO to this place. I wish I could put 0 stars!
Im pretty new to the area, Ive lived in Ohio for a year. Im from a foodie city in Michigan, where Im used to any kind of food, at any time of day, at any price Im looking to spend. Toledo as far as I can tell, does not have many non chain restaurants fitting any of those descriptions. With that being said, since the first time I tried Toledo Thai, Ive been coming back several times a week. And in my personal opinion, in an otherwise bland tasting city this restaurant sticks out to me with a great variety, what taste like higher end ingredients, phenomenal heat when you order spicy, and a very kind staff. As long as I live in this city Ill be giving this restaurant my business. I personally would recommend any of the curries, but my personal favorite is N2, pad see-eww, or N4 Pad woon sen.
Great flavors, nice and cozy space... and spicy means spicy (not Midwest spicy).
The best food in town! And also the most hospitable staff 😁
Thai taste great food. You can also buy some ingredients here
This place went down hill. Portions very small. Food not very tasty.
Best Thai food in town. Small dinning area but the food is excellent.
My family loves Thai food and we almost visited most Thai restaurants in Ohio. This place provides most authentic Thai food, similar to thai foods that I had while I was in Thailand. We tried Yum woon sen with seafood (it is not so popular in USA and not many Americanized Thai restaurants in USA serves this dish) and it was the best! Their basil thai rice and curry were very delicious too. They have grocery items as well and happy to suggest you seasonings to buy if you are interested in trying out your own Thai dish. Outside/inside appearance is not so charming if you plan to take your guest here for Thai food.
Sadly, my experience left 0 stars...and Im not a picky person at all. The lady was very nice (the 1 star). I ordered Pad SeEw on a Friday night. She charged me a few dollars more than what most Thai places usually charge, which is fine...I wouldve tipped anyways. After getting the dinner I opened it to find maybe 5 or 6 soggy noodles, 2 pieces of broccoli and a few tiny pieces of chicken. This is probably half the portion of most Thai restaurants lunch portions. I was shocked to see so many 4 and 5 stars with this place. Either they havent experienced good Thai food before or I just got them on a very bad night.
Waited at a table for 15 minutes at a table for service. Lady was too occupied having a conversation on the phone. We returned menus to her and left for Roses Thai Restaurant.
Best Thai food Ive ever had!
Surprisingly good food in a small restaurant
Good food. Fast and clean
