I was having problems with my old iPhone so I went in to upgrade. Fred was so helpful and friendly and made the whole transaction easy. He even helped calling AT&T with a service problem I had to upgrade the phone and was able to get it resolved. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Seems like lots of employees are working but at the same time you have a feeling of non of them trying to help and look like they are waiting for time to pass by for something that, they even cant figure it out😱May be they want to establish the new stupid trend that just fit 🍎🤑I think matches the crazy world that we are all experiencing😩😶By the way, when they do get back to you after 30 to 45 minutes they are really helpful🙏🏻If you can stay calm🤔🤫&🤐😑, happy ending will be yours😊👏

My review from this, has up and down roller coaster, between Covid 19 rules in 2020 and 2021. They ran that store like hospital. Must whare mask before entering. You wait your turn to enter. In 2020 you can not buy IPhone online only! You purchase a iPhone in the store. No walk ins, you must wait outside. They bring items outside. You may not enter the store. This last year 2020. All transactions must be done outside the store. I tried to buy IPhone 12 Pro Max 512gb at a Apple Store back in December 2020. They said you buy phone inside. You buy on Apple.com and complete your purchase online, must be be picked up curb side in car. That’s right, they place shopping bag on back seat. No contact must ware mask.Chuan K YangJr

Walk in, had 2 hrs wait. Then got check in, waited 1hr 20mins at the store after 2 hr wait. Said, their system was not working yet all the people who were on line with us were getting help. Once we got help, they wanted us to pay to replace an inflated battery on the iPhone when I’m paying for the iPhone care. On top of that, the whole time we were waiting there, the some of the staff were just standing around or txting on their personal phone and none were disinfecting anything as the website mentions

I dropped off my laptop and was told that they needed to replace the battery. They said 48 hours. After calling after 48 hours they said the part would be in today. After 68 hours I called and now they said Tuesday or Wednesday another 68 hours.that would be 136 hours total. So not right.. is this only this store or an apple problem?

I want to say really great things but our whole experience with Apple has been nothing but $#!+ to say the least. I spent alot on a computer for my daughter 6 months ago. The led cracked when she went to put a protective shell on it and I was told it would be $400+ to fix. I asked if I could trade it in for the next higher up computer how much would I get? The person looked out up and said $200. I said wrap it up. Next thing I know another lady came up and said they cant give me anything for the computer. That it was worthless. Hmmm... worthless after 6 months? The warranty on their products says the worth of the company itself. I left so I could wrap my brain around the situation. I did return and had to ask if we could at least get the student discount, which they should have offered in the first place, and they did give that to us. In the mean time I have another computer that is worth a guarantee of their word....ZERO.I say with calmness in my heart MacBook from Apple are C&@%! And their employees, a warning to anyone looking to buy Apple products,, dont take their word either!

THE WORST! Worst possible place to have anything done to a MAC product. I went to have the screen on my computer fixed, and the sales/tech guy (very dismissive/smug guy) assured me my hard drive/data/etc. would be fine. My computer was returned to me with the hardrive WIPED. Unspeakable, horrible treatment. Apple offers no help or consolation. Run the other direction from this place.

Horrible service. Won’t be going back. Wouldnt do an EXCHANGE on a Apple product still in wrapping for another similar apple product. Employees were joking around and annoyed that I was there (that they actually had to do their job). MAX (The young man specialist with the red hair) & Ethan took such good good care of me. I was there last Sunday in a very long line. The wonderful man who checked me in was awesome also. I’m so happy with my purchase and all the help that I received and making my decision. I can’t believe Max got all my old information off my vintage nine year old MacBook Pro onto my new laptop. I was devastated I thought I lost everything. I’m so happy with these guys who came through for me!! And I worked with four different men and they were all awesome. Ethan really helped me narrow down exactly what I needed and save me from buying a computer at double the price with things on it that I would never use!

It’s an average apple store but the staff is pretty friendly so it was always too busy before covid so now it’s rather quick and easy to get what you need. They have 12 stations currently you can walk up to which comply with minimum distancing requirements and are great steps to help keep everyone safe.

You have to have an appointment witch I understand however it’s really hard when you tend to go for multiple things like pick up and purchase. So you have to do MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTs for each transaction that’s what the guy in the apple store told me. It make the hole experience difficult make me want to get a Samsung galaxy 😂

I realize we live in strange times but I can’t understand why the Apple store in Thousand Oaks didn’t have a Mac Air to sell to my Mom. The clerk told my Mom to order on line. If she wanted to order on line, I wouldn’t have driven to Thousand Oaks and walked my Mom through the mall with her walker. Seriously if I went to a sandwich shop I should expect to be able to get a sandwich. I have never left the Apple store without a purchase before, I don’t get it.

I was looking to get a new phone and planning to switch away from Apple to something else. However I went in this Apple store to see what my trading options were and to check things out. The store was unusually slow apparently they are usually very busy and it’s a good idea to have an appointment. However the team member I was assigned her name was Megan and she has to be the best customer service experience I’ve had in a really long time. She took the time to be patient, friendly, and informative. She went over all the phone and storage options as well as the Apple Watch options. She spent way more time with me then she had to even assisting with transferring all my information and setting up my devices. I hadn’t got a new phone since the iPhone 6s and wasn’t looking forward to it. However she completely changed my experience and my view of Apple products. She is definitely an asset to their team and I can honestly say if I had had a different experience with a different team member I probably would’ve gone ahead and switched products.

The manager is RUDE! Very unprofessional. He is so bad I reported him to the Operations Manager of the store and writing a letter to the President of Apple.Worst experience of my life dealing with this store and manager. Their employees seem nice.Their process for handling customers with appointments and how to process credit card payments with Apple Credit is little to be desired.My complaint escalated because of his poor management and customer relations skills. Apple needs to look into the complaints about him that are listed in these reviews. He is a very poor representation of Apple.Haven’t checked with Yelp. It’s my next stop.

I wish I could go lower! I was a walk in and I expected to wait. But I was quoted at 2.5 hours upon check in and when I returned at that time they told me another 4 hours. Chris, a supposed Store Leader was aggressive, rude, intimidating and quite frankly scared me. Plan on calling corporate tomorrow - but highly disgusted at the behavior at this location.

I went to the store looking to upgrade my MacBook Pro 17” (2011). Since the new MBP 16” came out I was ready as I was hired for video production on a major local tango competition and I needed to shoot and edit 4K fast! My initial salesperson was very helpful and we discussed Leasing versus a straight purchase. Leasing was best for me since technology constantly changes and my second salesperson, Jacob in the business department helped with my computer options. Nice followup too. COVID-19 cancelled the competition but I will definitely purchase the system from my rep. BTW I’ve been there many times and have had good experiences with all reps re: questions.

Not so much this store but; why does a very expensive phone have to have a technician replace the battery after 1 year and there is a 3 hour wait that will cost $80 after phone support tells me I can just walk in. I do not belong to the apple cult and wont buy another apple product......So after after making an appointment I was given a replacement phone by a very kind and helpful young lady. Changed my opinion quite a bit. Still think it is crazy to spend a day and drive 50 miles to replace a battery but the people in the stores are great.

Was about to bust for a new Mac Book Pro because my 8 year old got so slow. Genius Mindy cleaned it up so no spinning colored ball and is great. Compliments to her for the patience and no waiting. Served other customers and returned as the cleanups were completed. No more downloading helpful cleaners --- straight to the Genius Bar. Thank you Mindy and Apple!!

I loved my phone until I visited this store. I will not ever buy any apple products again. I just needed a bit of help with my phone. The text stopped working like it should. This happened after updating the phone. I waited 45 minutes just to speak with a rep of Apple and was told its a 2 month wait time. I ask here did you say Months and with attitude YES. I am done with apple and wont be using it again. My mother and my sister told me not to get the iPhone but I had to learn on my own. Next time I will listen to my mom.

Horrible experience. I was standing there for ten minutes and nobody approached me. And there were some personnel that were free. I only wanted to buy some earbuds for my iPhone. I felt discriminated, ignored because of my physical looks since Im short, dark skinned and skinny. Rude personnel who only treats kindly to certain kind of people. Its definitely not an inclusive environment. I hope they hire people who are actually nice and welcoming to every kind of people, because we are all humans after all.

It’s a great store but if you go in with problems they don’t have as much to say if you going in to buy a product. They try and sell you anything they can there rather than fix the phone you have now. They will also tell you that you did something to break it not the software so they don’t have to replace it.

I love this store. But my two star review is based on the fact that I was nearly ignored by the staff when I was in there today. I was in there for several minutes walking around hoping to talk to someone as I had just a question about iPhone X availability, and no one asked me if I had any questions or not. Not all of the staff is qualified to work there. Went there two weeks ago. Bought two phones, had them activated without much fanfare. Super awesome service from Tyler. Went back last week to buy a third phone. The woman named Shea was an idiot. Told me that I had to switch carrier if I wanted to buy the phone at the store. Finally a supervisor came and completed the transaction. Wasted two hours there. Shea shouldn’t be allowed to work there. This woman can’t find her way out of a paper bag.

RUDE RUDE RUDE I spent $1300.00 on the new iPhone 11 pro max with this company and got treated as if I was something that came out of the backend of a horse. I arrived at the store to claim my phone that I paid for a week prior. Found long lines and was told although I have a appointment for 1:00 and the line was 2 hours of line I couldn’t enter the line until 1:00.I said service me at my appointment time, not sooner but was told I had to leave the area until 1:00. I guess customers aren’t welcome here. I already paid the outrageous price and to find out I’m not welcome to even stand near the store is ridiculous. Apple should be ashamed of hiring this staff.

I live in Burbank and was visiting a friend in Thousand Oaks who convinced me to check out the new iPhone. Made it sound like it was revolutionary. She took me to the store and I was impressed with how busy it was. Similar to the one in my neighborhood. I guess it was a manager I waited for and asked a quick question. I could tell he was a bit busy but he was rude and cold and told me someone else will be with me after I go sign in. I dont mind someone asking or showing me politely what I need to do, but he was the only one in the entire store who seemed miserable and annoyed. I finally got help and asked who the guy was. Someone by the name of Josh. I forgot to ask if it was the manager, but whoever he is, needs an attitude adjustment. Needless to say I had a bad experience and this revolutionary view of the iPhone was significantly diminished after that and when I saw the lackluster updates. I walked out without a new iPhone and disappointed about my first bad experience with Apple.

I paid $2500 for Mac and Apple care. found the cord wouldnt hold charge but this stores idea of service was to send me to Target to buy a new cord, and Apple would call me when new cords would come in. didnt sound right, Apple store not having Mac cords, so I called Apple customer service, they said the store had plenty in inventory but I had to deal directly with store---you know, the ones that just told me to go to Target. Well, richest company in world just sent this college student to spend $20 more at Target after the $2500 I already sent 2 weeks ago with New Mac. Thanks Apple. I am once again going through the infuriating process of trying to connect with someone via phone who can meet me outside and take my 27 iMac inside for repair. The store number gets you to a robot/voice mail system. A request for a representative takes you to Apple corporate, not to someone inside the store who can help. Last time I brought in a computer for repair, I was late for my appointment because I couldnt reach anyone. Because the Thousand Oaks store also refuses to come to your car for pick up. you have to pull up to the curb, make the call, wait for them to come out, and then find a parking space. FYI: I have had the opposite experience at the Apple Store in the Beverly Center in Beverly Hills. They give you an inside number AND come to your car to get your computer. I have now been on hold for 9 minutes....Update: On hold for 16 minutes. Hung up and tried again. On hold again, this time with technical support - WHICH IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. This is their system yet they do their best to make it impossible to for customers with desk top computers to get them inside! On hold for five minutes now.

Waited 2 hours to replace my MacBook charger and when I when to ask when they will help me, they said they are Had, which I told them they haven’t yet, the guy who helped me was nice but after he took a look at the charger and the time which it was already pretty much their closing time, he said they didn’t have a charger and that they will order one and call me. 2 hours waiting why didn’t they just say we don’t have one and I just could of just gone to another store and buy one, which later that night I did.

The automated telephone answering system is the worst program I have ever experienced.Try getting a person on the phone to setup an appointment to replace a battery on an iPhone or to cancel an appointment.The store needs a human to pick up the phone and direct the calls, its that simple.I do not need to hear sales pitch every time I try calling the store.Am I the only one having this issue?

I have never written a review for anything before. But today experience was absolute terrible that I feel the need to write one.I arrived to the store at 9:30, and around 10:00 someone came up to make an appointment for me. The guy gave me an appointment at 12:00 pm. When I came back at 11:50 another lady told me my appointment has been pushed back to 2:00 pm and there is nothing she can do about it. The store seemed pretty busy at the time, so I didn’t complain and continue to wait. I came back to the store at around 1:30 pm to check on the status. This time, another person told me that my appointment has been canceled because I was not there at 12:15 pm. After I explained my situation he told me to wait for like another hour then someone will help me. At this point I’m getting very upset because I have been there for four hours, but I didn’t want to make a scene. So I quietly wait a little bit longer. I came back to check at around 2:45 and a different person this time told me my appointment has been pushed back again to 3:00 pm. At this point I decided to complain because this is unacceptable. That is when this person set me aside for the store manager to come and deal with the situation. I received help and leave 30 minutes later. If I didn’t complain I would have probably stayed longer. I would not come back here ever again.

Took in our laptop computer that was having issues. Customer service personnel helped us in less than a minute. Told her our issues and we needed to wait only about 20 minutes to talk to a technician. The technician took the computer in the back and came back within 5 - 10 minutes saying it was a screen issue. Left it with her. It should be fixed within 5 days at no cost. We had a service contract on it. They verified it wasnt a non-covered water damage issue.
