Years ago Best Buy had clueless, helpless, useless staff.Then they got new management and the knowledge of the sales staff greatly improved.I guess we can blame it on COVID, but they went back to clueless, helpless, useless.I had a question about a color laser printer after waiting 10 minutes for Anyone to show up in the department. Finally someone showed up and waited on two people who just arrived.It got worse from there.Conclusion: they went back to poor management AND no training.

Came in for a warranty for a device they no longer carry in store and I was told that a manager would have to help me, I was told to wait for the manager Amber. I had to stand around for 55 minutes while the entire time I noticed one of the Best Buy employees were standing around the front of the store while on their cell phone. I noticed after being on their phone for 55 minutes they started to walk over to me and introduce themselves as Amber the Manager. I cannot believe the level of disrespect I received as a customer while for the entire 55 minutes of me waiting for Amber, she was on her cell phone the entire time. I waited around for almost an hour while Amber was on her cell phone and I ended up being told to call the 1800 Best Buy number, I will never come back to this store!

Dont waste your time with curbside pickup! Arrived this morning within 2 minutes of the store opening and waited 20 minutes in my car before finally going inside to collect my purchases. They were in no rush to help me and were unapologetic for their lack of service. They should not advertise curbside pickup if they are unwilling to dedicate at least one employee to fulfilling orders.

Long story short I needed a new. Computer ASAP. I checked online and the Best Buy website allowed me to search what was in stock. Low and behold the item was in stock. The guy who worked in the department was with another customer, so I went to the cashier who was able to answer some questions I had. The item works. I was more satisfied than I thought I would be. Thank goodness for brick and mortar for those emergencies and urgent situations. I like how I was actually able to search online ahead of time to know if the product was in stock and it turned out to be true.

Great selection of electronics and audio. Computer area staffed by knowledgeable and helpful staff. No one pushed a specific product or class of product, but explained the pros and cons of each. Would recommend if you are undecided on a specific type or price range.

Was in desperate need for some headphones so I figured I’d go to Best Buy. I asked an employee in the mobile department by the name of Casey. I told him I wanted to spend under $50 on a nice pair of headphones that were cable and not wireless. He showed me the Sony Extra Bass Headphones and they rocked! These are the type of employees who make shopping at Best Buy awesome! I’d rather come here any day then shop online due to the customer service. Thank you again Casey for your help! BEWARE!!!! Dont buy a Geek Squad membership. They broke my computer and sent me blank Best Buy gift cards, and Best Buy wont honor any mistakes that their Geek Squad breaks, or gives for compensation. I paid a lot for membership and thought I was a loyal Best Buy consumer buying printer and all from them, but they dont honor anything. They send you to 800 numbers and take no responsibility. Dont buy anything from them and dont buy their membership.

We had gone to other Best Buys didnt get the service we were hoping for but at Thousand Oaks Best Buy a wonderful woman offered to help us out and helped my partner to order a speaker which by the way sounds very very nice. It wasnt even the one he wanted due to the others being sold out through out the stores. We are extremely happy with the purchase and are very greatful for her service definately earned 5 stars would give more if i could:)

I bought a Keurig Coffee machine at Best Buy on August 3, 2021. I bought it here, because I always liked the service at Best Buy. Unfortunately, my coffee machine stopped working today. I still had the box and receipt. I went to return it August 19th, but I was told i was over on the return policy by 1 day!!!Buyers beware!!! Best Buy has a 14-15 day policy.Best Buy is selling extended warranties instead of taking care of their loyal customers.Buyers Beware!!! This turned out to be the Worst Buy!!!Management is young and lack empathy.Go elsewhere!

This location has it going for them! The security guard was the best part of my visit, helping us get to exactly where we need to go while having some friendly and fun conversation upon entering. They do have masks if you forget yours when you come. We found exactly what we needed but the price was $15 more than on Amazon so we did leave empty-handed. We were frequently helped by the staff and overall enjoyed our experience.

Best Buy has refused to honor a purchase made by my daughter on line. Her account was compromised and the item delivered to someone in Texas. Best Buy blames my daughter for allowing her account to be compromised but we never received an alert of a logon from a different computer and clearly Best Buy did not verify the credit card used for the purchase on pick-up. Best Buy staff have all fully understood our case and have done their best to help. Its a shame corporate simply sends the same form email denying responsibility. If Best Buy wants to do the right thing the Breeze Case number is 259 667 241

If you are facing the store the curbside pickup is around the corner to the right side. I sat outside for 15 minutes till I realized where I had to go. Needs signage at the front door. Otherwise, if you are going to the correct spot, you get your stuff instantly.

Went in at 11:10 am. Waited 15minutes to try to get help. No help. Went to front counter asking for a sales associate. Told will get one asap. Waited another 10 minutes nothing and no one wanted to make eye contact. Best buy spends hundreds of thousands on advertising and hires $15 per hour stealth helpers forcing us to go to the internet in stead of supporting our local stores . And thats exactly what Ill do. But not best buys site.

Sad to say I was very disappointed with this location. I had a return today for a product that i had no use for so I wanted to return it. The young man at the cashier wasnt very welcoming and i felt as i needed to build a relationship with him instead of him with me. I didnt get a warm welcoming or any sort of comfort of returning an item. I just wanted to get iut of there asap! I was looking forward to purchasing a new Fridge for my new home, but i couldnt be there another minute. I dont want to get this young man in trouble, but just a quick couching to improve his customer service..young man with tattoos long ear length black hair, split in the center very slim. I mean, with Frys out of business... were in big trouble when it comes to local electronics store options. Best Buy has just the worst quality house brand JUNK (have literally had cables just fall apart in my hands like wet tissue paper), and their prices for name brand stuff are not competitive with Costco and various online sources. Guess we now have to be much more careful to plan ahead and do all shopping in a window that allows for delivery.

Pacific Sales guy needs to go thru customer service school! Picks and chooses who he wants to help first based on the product expense. We were looking for a exhaust hood on the lower side ($500) and he started helping someone else who came on after us and rudely whispered back and forth with the guy. Not ever going there for anything related to Pacific Sales. Go to Lowes! Cheaper and better customer service!

This was the biggest waste of time. My fan on my laptop isnt working. I called. It was3 days for an appointment. Then I was told I had to purchase a $200. Geek squad for a $40 fan. I asked on the phone about costs and wasnt told about that. Not only did I not do it I bought a new one at Costco with a 2 year customer support.

Horrible experience. Went in looking for an iPad and was not sure between the iPad Pro 11 inch or the iPad Air 10.9 inch. Was looking for cellular version but didn’t have it in stock so with the recommendation and knowledge Eric Chin the assistant manager provided i decided to go with a wifi version of the iPad air. I chose that one because it was cheaper and also newer and better processor than the iPad Pro, eric was great the whole way but i could tell he wanted to get me into the iPad pro, assuming because it was more expensive. I chose the iPad Air and got a case and total was supposed to be $1050 including case. It’s my fault for not double checking the receipt before leaving but I took the word of someone who was an assistant manager and a 15 year employee that I would walk out with the device i wanted and after being there for an hour I wanted to go home already. I went home and checked the receipt and noticed the price was more expensive than what was discussed and also noticed that it was the wrong device! I wanted the iPad air but was given the iPad Pro instead! The one that Eric Chin was trying to push the whole time. I went back to return and when i walked in Eric was there and he immediately asked what happened and I told him he gave me the wrong device and he said “sorry it was a mistake” I understand mistakes happen nobody is perfect but i believe this was not a mistake because he gave me an iPad Pro device and an iPad Pro keyboard case. Both different than what I wanted. If it was a mistake both products would be different, but he gave me both of the wrong product. He also made someone else take care of me and immediately walked away after I said I wanted to return it. Very upsetting and disappointing. Wasted time for something that I wanted to purchase just for someone to give me the wrong product with them thinking I wouldn’t notice.

Twice now we have been to this location and had the same sales member help us. We help take care of an elderly woman and while we were looking for TV options that would be good for her, the sales member disregarded any questions we had, and refused to show us any options other than the most expensive model (which she did not need). Also, because she is an elderly woman and has a hard time seeing (one good reason why an elderly woman might not need a 1080p resolution and could consider a 720p option especially when you are not explaining to her what that means). We also wanted to see what the remote looked like to make sure it had a direct button for Netflix and Hulu. The sales member was too lazy and did not care to show us what the remote for the TV we were looking for telling us it will look just like some other TV. Unfortunate it did not look the same and was missing the buttons we were looking for. Sales members should understand that different customers have different needs and are looking for different things. If a woman has a hard time understanding and keeping up with technology, she does not need something with a million different buttons and features if the only thing she wanted to do was watch DVDs (not even HD bluerays so her 1080p resolution is now rendered useless thank you sales staff for making her pay more for something she didnt need) and on top of it, she cant even figure out how to use her new TV because the sales member lied and said it would have a similar remote but now she has something she cant figure out how to use. I understand fully why stores like Best Buy are losing all of their business to Amazon, where I will buy her replacement TV when we return the one you sold us.

If you order ahead and get customer pick up, they now have the pick up at the same place as curbside service, which is where car stereo installation is, or was. No need to go into the store. Just get out of the car, give them your name, and they hand you your package. Social distancing is maintained and you get to look at your order to be sure its correct before you get home.

Nobody helps you there. They just ask you what you are looking for when you walk in and point you in the general direction. I stood by the bluetooth speakers for about ten minutes waiting for someone to help me which shouldnt have been a problem since I was the only one in that section and the employees kept walking by the end of the aisle to see if I was trying to steal anything but not once did one of them ask if I needed help. As a result I got out my phone and looked up the speaker I was interested in and Amazon will be delivering to my house tomorrow for $14 less. So thanks for having bad customer service Best Buy

Sales personnel are very knowledgeable, helpful and not at all pushy. A combination not easy to find these days. Prices on big ticket items (eg TV, stereo equipment, etc.) are very competitive. Periphery items (e.g. cables, wires, mounts) are very expensive. Buy these on Amazon. Overall a great store but be sure to do your homework.

I dont like how they greet you when you first walk into Best buy its like they want to get your whole face on their camera for facial recognition to see if youre stealing or not its a really ungenuine greeting. CHECK YOUR PRODUCTS! They sold me a soundbar, took it home and realized the bar was incorrect. Later realized the subwoofer and other equipment was also incorrect. Labeling on the styrofoam was noting the right parts, geek squad tried to tell me it was sold as an unopened package so they couldn’t take it back. Needless to say I was a little upset, resulted in then allowing the return. The did check the other pets and tried to say they went to that particular system - after I ordered the real one from Amazon I realized it was an older year model in the newer box. Part numbers I had written down from the bar and subwoofer confirmed it. Thankful the manager let me return it without too much, but what a waste of my time and energy trying to get something from this store with a “geek squad” that clearly doesn’t actually know what they’re looking at. Use Amazon or order online.
