I bought all my kitchen appliances from Pacific Sales including a washer and dryer, 6 appliances total. Everything was delivered on time and all the boxes were in good condition. I stored the boxes for 2 years in my house due to a slow remodel.When it was time to finally install the appliances everything was in perfect condition except the wall oven. There was SEVERE damage on the corner of the wall oven display which resulted in the display glass cracking. The box was still in perfect condition, this severe damage would have occurred prior to boxing or manufacturing. I hadnt inspected the appliances close enough during delivery, and I realized I was outside of the warranty because I had stored the appliances for too long. Realizing my mistake, I tried to resolve the issue on my own, I purchased a replacement display online for $300. As I was replacing the part I noticed more damage, scratches and unfinished surfaces on the inside of my oven unrelated to the original damage on the display. This oven was in bad shape with several manufacturing defects.I contacted Pacific Sales and Samsung, nobody is willing to help due to the expired warranty. I realize my mistake in letting the boxes sit for too long, but I also expect companies to take responsibility for delivering a product safely and in good condition regardless of the timeline. Its sad to see a business shrug it off and point at the fine print to avoid resolving the issue. This is how you lose customers.
