Terrible experience.I completed my shopping and was at checkout. Cashier asked for my wife’s and my ID. I presented my ID. My wife did not have hers. The cashier explained there was a sign at the entrance stating their policy and he could not complete the transaction since we both did not have ID’s. We both are in our 60’s. This is a ridiculous store policy. No common sense.I guess they would rather have their policies than my business.Terrible management, terrible customer service.Take your business where it is appreciated, not to Daveco.

If youre looking for anything other than the allocated whiskeys and bourbons the store will have it. Great selection of beer wine and everyday whiskeys.

I ordered $600 worth of liquor online. When I picked up on Tuesday I asked the owner if I received double points. He said he didnt know and would have the Store Manager contact me the next day. Store Manager called and said because I ordered on Monday and picked up on Tuesday I did not receive double points. In order to receive double points I needed to return order and repurchase. I returned and was charged a 10% restocking fee!!! When I told the owner to take the restocking fee from my 9000 loyalty points he no longer understood English!Thanks for ripping me off $50 and all the inconvenience you have caused. I have been I loyal DaveCo customer since the day it opened. I will now be taking my business elsewhere!!!

Great selection! They had the wine I had been searching for that nobody else carried!

I never buy a lot of alcohol and wine, so when I was put in charge to purchase I was scared I was going to buy the wrong one. A very passionate and helpful team member by the name Daniella helped ease my worries. She demonstrated popular wine and gave me suggestions on what to purchase. You can tell she enjoys her work and honestly its a good feeling seeing that, I will for sure come back again and ask specifically for her to help me. Thank you so much!!!

Too many of their beers are old on the shelves. Twice in a row pick up some IPAs just to try them, have them be stale and look on the canned date to see over 4 months ago. Not cool for IPAs and can’t imagine the Brewers appreciate that

Daveco has become my go to for all of my beverage needs. A big part of that has to go with Luke and Saeed who have been instrumental in making the allocated whiskey process fair for frequent shoppers like myself. They have a great selection of whiskey from around the world, pair that with their selection of wines and beers and youll not need to go anywhere else. The whole daveco team do a great job.

I love the selection of wines, alcohol, beers, etc. I cant think of any time Ive been in the store where I was looking for a specific bottle of wine that I couldnt find that particular wine. I like how they group the wine by type and region. Also, customer service has always been excellent and friendly.

Bought this bottle of Buichladdich about a month ago for my husbands birthday. Gave it to him this morning and noticed some warping under the plastic. Never been opened but it leaked EVERYWHERE. Inside of the container is rusted. Dave Co refuses to exchange it for a new bottle. I’ll never shop here again.

Love this place. Tobin was an awesome help today in getting a bourbon Ive been trying to locate for some time. Really appreciate his knowledge and also bought a tequila based on his recommendation. This place is a little out of the way but totally worth the drive.

After I arrived home, I noticed that I was charged for a 4 pack when I only purchased a single. When I contacted the store, I was told to come back in the same day to it get it fixed. Otherwise I wouldnt be able to get my money back. That might work for some, but not for me as I live about an hour away. Driving through Denver traffic twice in the same day isnt something I want to do. Be careful, getting issues fixed is problematic.

My husband and I started trying new bourbons earlier this year as something to do during the pandemic. We got interested in two particular products after doing some research – Angel’s Envy Cask Strength and Jefferson’s Wheated Ocean. We went to the Thornton store to ask about this year’s arrival of both bourbons. A sales person told us he didn’t have the Angel’s Envy, but the Brighton store had a couple of bottles of the 2020 edition left. That was an unexpected surprise and we were very happy. The Brighton store is several miles away, so we asked the sales person in Thornton if could call the Brighton store and confirm the Angel’s Envy was still there. He made the call and we were thrilled to hear the bourbon was still available. Then we excitedly headed over to Brighton thinking we would be drinking something really fun that evening.The sales person in Brighton initially told us he didnt have the bourbon we were looking for. Then he said he might have it, but we needed to have the points. We jokingly told him we had the points. Then he went to see if he had the product.A couple of minutes later the sales person returned with the owners son – then things went south. The Owners Son (TOS) immediately demanded to know who had told us about the Angel’s Envy Cask Strength bourbon. We answered that we didn’t know the fellows name, but he had called and confirmed that product was still here. Then TOS told us he may have the bourbon but “it had been crossed off”. I have no idea what that means. He also announced that employees normally let the liquor department know before sending folks over to make a purchase. At this point I am wondering if I am really standing in a liquor store looking at a guy who has had bourbon in stock for over a year and is visibly annoyed because customers came to buy it?After what felt like a tense exchange, TOS stomped off with our sales guy to allegedly check to see if they had the bourbon. The sales guy returned a couple of minutes later and told us TOS wouldn’t let him sell us the bourbon.I understand that some stores have policies for selling alcohol that is a limited edition or hard to find. I have no problem with that at all. But TOS’ attitude was bordering on belligerent. We were subject to this treatment because we had the nerve to walk into a liquor store and ask to buy some bourbon.We entered the store wanting to buy a few things and establish a relationship with someone who could clear the path for future buys of limited edition product. I am not sure, but we probably would have spent $300-$400 during this trip. I do know this though - we left without buying anything and with a firm commitment to never visit Daveco again.

Rude staff, had an $800 order and they snapped at us multiple times. The two younger employees were so sweet and apologetic but otherwise enjoy a great experience. Will not be returning.

In a last minute mad dash to try to track down 32 small bottles of liquor, Daveco came in clutch. The staff were extremely helpful and did what they could to track down inventory, boxed everything up and get me set up at a register. Unfortunately, we didnt end up needing any of the 32 bottles so the no returns policy was a bit of a hit. However, the staff are great and the selection is vast.

Daveco has a wide variety of all types of spirits and usually a full inventory of everything as well. I have noticed that the Smirnoff Splash Blue Raspberry has been out of stock for about a month. This is my favorite flavor of that brand. The staff is always quite helpful and the cashiers move customers through the lines quickly.

Great place to grab beer. If you want something specific ask the front and they will tell you the isle or door number. They carry ommegang which is pretty crazy in my opinion.

Big store doesn’t equal good store. I can only talk about the bourbons and craft beer. Nice selection of bourbons. Fair prices. Too bad they don’t care about the craft beer. Since they have opened I have found their handling of craft beer strange. In a state that has so much local beer and access to craft from other states, they do a horrible job. Empty sections wasting space instead of placing new items to sell. Lazy? Not caring? Not sure. The cold room with beers is unorganized. Some breweries have stuff in one place but look elsewhere and some more. No alphabetical order. No grouped by style. You have to look at all the areas to try and find what you are searching for. They have assorted displays of overstock both in the cooler and outside of it. If they have empty spaces why not put the over stock in it at least? How long does the overstock just sit and get old? In the cooler I could boxes of beers just sitting. After a 15 minutes search, I found no labels for these beers yet lots of spaces for it? Are they so lazy that putting an open box out for customers to pull from saves you time from putting on shelves and making labels? They have a single can and bottle section with some six pack holders. No idea if there is a discount offered since there is no signage anywhere near the beers. Go here for bourbons. If you want craft beer, go elsewhere.

Do not order online!!!! They do not keep their commitment to order processing and then they charge you after you cancel your order. I placed an order on 4/20 for pickup that day. When my order wasn’t ready I went and purchase my items myself. I then asked that my order be canceled since they didn’t have time to pull it. Two days later my order was finally ready to be picked up. Again I tried to cancel. A week later I get an email saying my order was picked up, and I was charged a second time. I’ve tried to contact them to resolve this but unsuccessful. Now I have to file a claim with my credit card company.I will not be doing business with them again.

This place is like Walmart, they probably have what you’re looking for but you might as well pour gasoline and light yourself on fire rather than inconvenience the store employees for help. I have also emailed this store and never received a reply in regards to my questions. Thanks Daveco!

I was personally stunned at the size and selection, but these guys picked us up right away.... their entire crew is focused, knowledgeable, and they make decisions fast. This place is one of the most effective and efficient liquor stores Ive ever encountered in my entire career. And the prices and selection are stellar ....second to none.

Good place, had what we needed. We literally were in and out so we didnt have to much interaction but honestly, isnt that what you want if you are in a rush, and know what you need; the ability to easily get it and go and thats what happened for us.

They have an employee there (I dont know her name but she wears glasses and has a green tint to her hair) she is the best. ALWAYS has a smile, even when customers are cranky. She greets you when you walk through the door and assists when she is available. She has appreciation for the customers and she shows it. With all the tension walking around these days this young lady is a breath of fresh air.

Admittedly this place has an amazing selection, but that doesnt save it from 1 star. First off, I found a bottle of bourbon that I wanted to try, and I found it had nice $20 mail in rebate on it. Upon further inspection, turns out it expired two years ago. Is their stock that old, or are they trying to pull one over. Then there was the absolutely rude staff. No reason for the complete reaming we received when my 10 year old took a bottle from my wife to hand to me as I was checking out (she took a whole two steps with it). I guess there is a rule that anyone under 21 cant even touch anything with alcohol in it (which by the way is not indicated anywhere that we saw). Instead of just informing us of the fact, not just the checker we were dealing with, but another checker from the next aisle decided to join the party and use the entire check out to dress us down over it. Definitely will be taking our business elsewhere.

I pulled up to this place, and was in awe at the size of the place. Then, I went inside!You walk in, and the size of this store leaves you amazed. My girlfriend and i stopped in to get a bottle of wine on our way to Denver to catch a flight, but we ended up walking the aisles and looking at the tremendous variety of beers, wines, and liquors here. Chances are, if you are looking for something unique, they will have it here

Just had to stop at the Worlds Largest Liquor Store while we were on vacation in Denver last year. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, of course the selections were very impressive! Fun time had by all!

The liquor store of all liquor stores. If they dont have it, no one will. Its like a mega mall liquor store. It would take you at least an hour or more to go through every aisle. Then at least another 4 or 5 trips to remember everything they have. To those who like cigars they even have one of those places, I am not sure what it is called lol I dont smoke cigars but humidor comes to mind, probably not correct..but....check it out.

DaveCo is reputed to be the biggest liquor store in the world, and their selections and prices are better than their nearest competitor, Applejack.
