I shop here every week for groceries and purchase my gas here as well. It has always been a decent store! The only issue is sometimes there isnt enough staff or open registers, so lines are occasionally long and Ive bagged my own groceries at check out multiple times. I still choose to shop here, especially because of the friendly, respectful, decent staff members! Last night I left my wallet (with my sons fundraiser money in it 😬😔 that was due today) in my cart after getting a few things. Well, thankfully someone turned it in untouched! And the staff were so polite in helping me get it back! I believe it was the employee who was headed to get the carts for the store as I was leaving but I do not know! Whoever it was I sincerely thank you! And Kroger south employees whom assisted with the return! I appreciate each of you.

The pharmacy is amazing. Ann went above and beyond when i called doing everything she could too help me. The man that waited on me when i went in to pickup my prescriptions was outstanding. The nicest most personable pharmacy I have ever been to... thank you Lord Jesus Christ for sending me here and Blessed Mother Mary my sweet Queen for the signal graces guiding me every step of the way!!! Produce is beat by Walmart every time. Found bugs in my Kroger brand prepackaged food!!!

A wide variety of items available! Everything is easy to find and getting around the store is simple. They have a great and fresh produce selection as well as low prices. They also have a diverse array of bread options. The grocery store itself is well-maintained. It is clean and organized. The staff is incredibly helpful! I asked an employee about the Kroger card, and he offered to go all the way to the front of the store to get me the paper with the information, and he ran there and back to explain how the program worked. Amazing service!

Love kroger. I think its a bit pricier on some stuff vs Walmart but the selection is great.

I really enjoy your locking wheels on the carts. I recently had an enlarged spleen and when I went to exit the store the wheel locked and shoved the cart handle into my stomach! Felt really good thanks for making my day!

The Kroger south pharmacy in terre haute has some of the rudest unprofessional employees working there. I know everyone is shorthanded everywhere but man you dont have to be so rude to the customers just trying to ask questions about meds and get things filled. Very unprofessional. Cindy was just outright rude ugh I dont have time for this today Im already backed up 😳 then hung up. Got Rachel on the phone and she wasnt much better but wow. Do better Kroger pharmacy.

There pharmacy team by far is the best! These people have stepped up during covid and become a life saver for me. I really owe a lot to the pharmacy tech and Casey is really the best at what he does. They know what their doing! They deserve an award!

Made a pickup order and was given meat that expired 5 days earlier. This was the 4th time this year that I received expired meat. Additionally, I was overcharged for this product. I had to go into the store to get the situation remedied. I do pickup so I do NOT have to go in the store. The topper, Ryan, the manager was not wearing a mask. I called corporate but have not received a return phone call. Will never shop here again.

Very friendly staff. Very busy Sundays after Church. They called more cashiers up to handle the rush. Not to much of a wait. Had everything in stock I needed.

Went right after work, doors open, was shopped for at least 10min and passed a lot of people till 1 lady said they wasnt open for another 15min. Told her I didnt know cuz the doors was open. Tried to leave and the doors wouldnt let me out. Asked another lady if she could help me get leave cuz I was told they wasnt open yet. She has a bit of an attitude saying I shouldnt be in there and I needed to go... thats the whole reason I asked her for help instead of breaking the door down.

The store itself is clean and well organized with a good selection of products. The floor staff is helpful.The lady at the self checkout is also always cheerful and helpful.However, Yesterday, I went thru a cashier line. The bagger was occupied with everything except his job and I didn’t get home with everything I bought. I suppose the next person got it. The bagger in the next aisle was even worse. He threw a bag of chips in the cart, a loaf of bread on top and then a cart load of groceries went on top of that. The poor lady probably got home with flat bread and chip crumbs. Just appalling. He kept looking at his watch and left as soon as he was done.Watch those baggers folks! Keep them focused.What good does a nice selection do when you don’t get home with it or when it is ruined.

The ladies restroom is ABSOLUTELY filthy. The vents are very blocked. Stinks VERY bad. Very DEPRESSING. Tissue holders broke. When you flush the whole stool shakes. Needs a cheerful make over.

I just got home and took a big, slimy bite of packaged deli macaroni salad, only to discover that it had expired nine days before.

Its close but alfull crowded there. No parking for that many people.

I was in there the other day and Karina Wilson was helping me I have been in a lot of stores and I have never had an employee come over to assist me with the smile she had on her face and she treated me like I was her family. Yes I have been in your store many times how ever I have never ever got this kind of treatment. I do not know if she is in Management or not. If you do not have her in management you are missing out on some one who could train your other staff on customer service Job WELL Done

Overall this is a pretty decent Kroger store for the most part .. it is a little clutter-y .. lots of stuff sitting in the aisles making it a little hard to push your cart around. And the employees could be a little friendlier. But those are fairly minor things to be honest and as long as hey are stocked with the things that we are shopping for I am happy.

I love this store! Two weeks of food for $62.00. Lots of meats, cheeses, fresh and frozen produce. Best specials in town. Friendliest helpful employees.

Went to pharmacy with my sister. Terrible experience. She didnt fill all prescription at same time and wait forever. Had to drive back through again. I thought a drive through was suppose to be fast. This was anything but. Then she told us the wrong amount to pay. Awful experience.

This location is clean and well maintained. The prices are competitive, and, unlike other stores, they dont feel the need to rearrange things every other week. The new online ordering is a nice innovation for most things. The main concern for this location is the parking lot, which can be a bit chaotic even during slower times.

Love the selection, the prices, and the app with digital coupons!! Not to mention that you can use the card to save on gasoline as well!! Very friendly staff, always willing to help! Ive tried a few items from the bakery. Wasnt too impressed with the cupcake or eclair but the cookies are always moist and chewy and the chocolate dipped chocolate mini cake with whipped cream is amazing!!!

Nice little restaurant, good food and friendly staff. Seems much closer to traditional Italian food then most places these days which was a pleasant surprise! And the outdoor dining patio looks like it would be a great place to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine on a hot summer evening!

They have a good deli, health food section, good selection of groceries. Earn points for cents off on gas (gas station on site). I like the quality of groceries and the available and friendly service. Its easy to get in and out quickly with self check.

I grocery shop and use the pharmacy here frequently. It feels a bit dirty but just in the way of old buildings that are constantly in use.I like how they often have fruit out during after school hours for children, it makes it so much easier for me to do my shopping when their hands are busy and they are fed.The parking lot needs to be redone.

The produce section is always fresh with lots of variety. Plus I was able to save over $2 with my Kroger card.

This store is always fully stocked with everything you could want and all of the staff is extremely friendly and if you cant find something they are always very happy to show you not by pointing their finger but walking you to what youre looking for!!I do live close by so I go often but its not just because Im biased it is an amazing place to shop and to feel welcomed and certainly a HomeTown feeling!!!

Worst interview experience I have ever had. I was told to come 10 to 15 minutes early for my interview. I showed up a half hour early because I wanted to make a good impression & I just like to be early... I didnt get interviewed until 2 and a half hours later and it was by someone who said he usually doesnt do interviews. He couldnt even find the paper with the interview questions he was supposed to ask me on it so he just rambled some off the top of his head and wrote my answers down on a blank sheet of paper. He then said he would give that paper to the person who was supposed to interview me. How do you hire or not hire someone based off that?? I should have received a call from someone and been rescheduled.

We used to have a Kroger where I live so when we get to Terre haute we always stop.. Good produce and bread.. plus other shopping in the area.
