I had an 1966 MF165 with a 4.3 diesel motor. The water pump was shot, all the hoses were blistering or split. This tractor was hurtin. NOBODY had ANY of the parts I needed. Ironically, one of the JD parts guys suggested I try FES. SO GLAD I DID! They didnt have the special straight hose I was after by nomanclature either; but they looked. They went through all of their inventory for about 20 minutes searching for the right diameter size hose. They had my pitiful little rotten piece of hose matching it, comparing it, and they found a piece, it was NOS from a long distant repair that had gone un-used. It was a six inch long piece. No bar code, no price, just a smudge on a little white sticker that had long ago become illegible. I needed 2.5 inches. They cut the piece I needed and asked me what I wanted to pay for it. What I want to pay for it? I said, How about ten dollars? The guy looked at me and wrote the receipt for $2.00. He handed me the receipt for the $2.00 to my dismay. All I could say was Thank you as I gave him the two dollars. He said, We appreciate your business. This was over a year ago, and Ive thought about it and told everyone I know about this place and their level of service ever since. I finally decided I needed to do something about it.
