Store is kinda cramped can barely get a cart through some areas. Bought my kids a backpack each today and 1 of them we couldnt find the price tag for. When I asked the cashier if she can find out for me, she asked another who told her how to do it and instead of doing it she just says its adidas its probably the same price. I said idk but whatever. I come home and help my daughter get it packed up and sure enough the tag had gotten zipped into the small pouch. And it was cheaper then the other one! Original price was only 45 and I paid 41. Sale price made it 33. So I overpaid cause the cashier was too lazy to do something that wouldve taken 2 minutes to do. There was nobody behind me so its not like there was a big line and she felt rushed. I wont be back.

Bought a bunch of weights and equipment today. The staff was awesome and super helpful. I didnt see what I wanted on the floor so a super helpful employee let me look at their stock in the back. The cashier was very kind and patient and they were nice enough to help me load everything. Very good experience. Staff deserves 10 stars

I like buying shorts, t-shirts,& tennis shoes from Academy. I really thought that there would be a sale on t-shirts and shorts. I was wrong and Ive been buying from Kohls and Dillards where they actually are having a sale on summer clothes. Academy, you better do better on pricing or I will stop using you. 2 Carharrt t-shirts and 2 Carharrt pairs of shorts was $123.00. WOW!!!The Magellan shorts are still $19.99 and only gray and khaki fabrics left. I guess someones buying them.

Glad they are there to be the voice of reason in the local firearms and ammunition. Theyve never spiked their prices. If they dont have the inventory, they dont have it. Academy is my go-to. I wish they would take better care of their employees. They have to put up with so much.

Disappointed to not be able to find anything. The shoe clearance was only on shoes with cleats. (!?) Didnt have the stamina to do a full on search for womens clothing items through the jumble of kids sections and Name Brand athleisure items.

Got my super combo today. Such a cordial staff. Took less than 3 minutes to get my license.

Academy probably has the best selection of drive fit shirts that you can find they got every color of the rainbow and every possible very variation of like wave like patterns for each color also which are the best ones you know church that look like they have waves on them or or sort of tie dye that way its not just a plain shirt it actually has fluid design and it looks like you actually took the time to pick out a shirt I seem to prefer the Navy blues aqua blue and the aqua greens but also they have this American sort of American flag one American flag colors that its really nice design well theres a few of them but its the one with it well its Columbia and Magellan seem to have the best patterns and color and style variations. Once you try the dry fit material you really dont want to wear anything else when its so hot. The moisture wicking really helps out and is really comfortable and it seems to be a lot cooler

Store was not packed, easy to navigate through. They had some sales that I liked. The customer service was pretty great, all the employees greeted my sons and I when we passed by them. I’d definitely return when I’m in the area.

Academy is one of my favorite places to browse. I just bought a jacket there was just what I was looking for.

Pretty decent selection...it was right before school so obviously picked over. The employees were friendly & helpful. The bathroom was nasty however.

They didnt put a prize on clearance markers no price no bar code went in the to 3 different places costumer service was the last place, so I just said forget and left

I went in for a bike after not having really used one in 18 years. I asked a girl working on a different task for help. She helped me for at least 45 minutes - size, seat configurations, what different types of tires, something that I think was a front and rear grip (?). Even got to take a couple for a test drive, though after the fact I saw a thing saying not to. Presumably she got it cleared with her boss. Shes a bit shorter, braces and I think her name was Kia or Nia. A+!!!!!!

Ammo on Tuesday and Friday now. Staying on shelf longer. No price gouging.

Academy has good prices and a lot of stuff. My only complaint is if something has a sale sign you better make sure it rings up the right price. I have gotten all the way home and looked at my receipt and had to go back because the price was not right.

Found a rod combo missing the reel and it was marked down. They just ripped the price off and refused to sell it to me at the price and I feel as though they thought I put the price on there. Used to like shopping here but no more. Tackle Warehouse and discount tackle have better deals anyways.

Each visit there at the academy is always pleasant. Sort of like a Wonder land for those who want to find things that will contribute to their physical circumstance and well-being. Another reason are the people to mention particularly a gentleman that was a greeter at the door so pleasant and courteous to the customers and conversational. When visiting the academy I must admit part of it was to be able to experience getting to see this individual again, but sadly my last visit I found out that he had died. this brought about a feeling of sadness.

I took my daughter to purchase some decent work shoes that would last longer than a month. When approaching a staff member inquiring as to the location of womens pants to browse we were responded to with sarcasm in the workers voice as if we should have known what they have and do not have for sale but since we are not regular customers and they had pants for men we did not realize that they would discriminate against women and if we were wanting to purchase those pants it would have to be done online

You will be amazed. Fine outfits for all the family. Shoes, sportswear, workout equipment, outdoor essentials, everything for your outdoor needs too. Very, very nice inside. Staff very friendly and always there to assist you with your needs. As of 12/11 and months before, Academy requires facemasks to be worn before entering store. Note: they do not enforce wearing mask. So people goes in anyway without mask. Store says ok but keep distance and they are not. Workplace is unsafe. Sad they will not enforce facemasks. 👎👎 Be careful especially Bell county is considered a red area. Bad

All staff awesome! Very helpful. Store is very clean, do not have to search for a staff member. If they do not have your size or a particular style, they offer to order it for you, free shipping to you or store pickup.Stay out of the bathroom though. Worse than a Walmart bathroom, smell initiates gag reflex, and not paper toweling, have to search for a stall with toilet paper. Not during a busy time, last time I had to attempt was June 2020.

There must have been at least 20 employees but not a single one asked if I needed help as I looked around the store for an hour. They were too busy talking to each other as a few employees were building displays. Hiking shoe area not even close to being organized.

Does nothing to enforce mask order. In the 20 minutes I was there, I counted no less than 13 people without a mask. Manager said it was because they don’t want to put their employees in a combative situation with customers. Why can’t team leads or managers enforce this? The big sign at the front stating the governor’s order obviously has no teeth and is pointless to post.

Ordered a couple of gu ns on sale online. Went in to pick them up early one morning. A few older gentlemen in front of me, not many people working, but everyone stayed calm and diligent. Worked through the approval process with the state. Overall, very smooth. Tip: make sure and grab a number at the g u n counter!

Went in looking for a shotgun but they are flying off the shelf so fast I could never get one. Marco gave me the tip I needed to get one the very next day. When I returned to pick up my purchase Marco again helped me out quickly, expertly, and best of all with a friendly attitude! Temple academy is the best!
