I will only take my car to Gerardos. The staff is very professional, the prices are exceptionally low, and down time is minimal. I love them.

I took a 07 Chevy to have the transmission serviced and they changed the fluid and filter for a very good price. Like $60 roughly, from what I remember. I had also asked that they change a transmission solenoid in the transmission but they said I should take that to a transmission shop for that service. I appreciate them being honest and doing such an accurate job filling the transmission fluid back up. I had taken my own trans. oil, fluid filter, gasket and new pan. They offered me all the used parts back and the couple quarts of extra fluids they didnt need. I checked the trans. after it warmed up and the fluid was exactly the level it was supposed to be. I will be taking my trucks there from now on for basic maintenance when I dont want to do it myself.

I took my vehicle to this shop with parts I bought from Amazon which I confirmed was no defects.First Gerardo said the control arm that I specifically ordered for my car was not aluminum like the stock was so it didnt go on.Soon after he told me this I went to shop so that I could pick up parts so I can send back and he said he will put old parts back but he had some of the kit,so he says installed,so I would not be able to to get refund so I just took the control arms that are steel home where I noticed that the control arms were damaged Im not much of a mechanic so I guess I thought they were damaged so I took them to autozone cause I dont like to assume things and the rep there confirmed that they were damaged.I went straight back to shop to confront about it and Gerardo said that I gave him to him like that.He said Im closed so come back in morning.i forgot to mention that after he told me about the steel and aluminum difference and that was why they didnt fit,he told me that he had put them on but my wheels 9were crooked after he put them on.morning came and I get a phone call cause I told him Id be there at and he called at 7:15 and told me would out of his pocket buy the control arms to replace the damaged one cause he doesnt like conflict with his customers and the car would be ready by 3 or 4 that afternoon.He called and said the car is ready so I went and he said I just needed to get wheel alignment and struts.The is doing the same thing it was,my air intake hose was cut up,the air flow cover(I guess that what i0ts called)is not bolted back on.The vehicle is running like crap.I do not recommend this place to my enemies or especially good people looking for honest mechanics.They will sound all friendly but even the bible warns of wolves in sheeps clothings.God bless you all and this means you, Gerardo.

Had and engine installed on 07 equinox..07 escalade AC system replaced.. 2013 E250 serviced..Great prices real professionals.. loved the experience will definitely recommend this shop.
