Excellent variety of styles and sizes. The customer service was excellent. I walked in for one item and found many more needed items that were a fantastic addition to his wardrobe. I spent about 10 minutes in the store and the sales associate was able to pull me exactly what I was looking for each time I mentioned needing something else. I would highly recommend this store for any masculine dressing person who needs larger or taller sizes.

Good service and selection, one MAJOR downside. They will spam you to death if you give an email address. 50 emails in the three weeks since I purchased. They said it was for returns, now I am just curious how many emails I will see. Yes, you can unsubscribe, but they obviously dont respect customers email.TL:DR THIS COMPANY WILL SPAM YOU TO DEATH!

Never again! Not aware of men pant cut and where they were inside of store! Lady told me that it was all she had in one section but I walked around the corner next to the shirts and found the same pants around the corner with my actual sizes !Only paying attention to one customer while several were in store and the customer she was talking to wasnt shopping !I was at the cash register as she was chatting away!DXL & Casual XL is my brand! With the lack their of attention to detail will force me to go to Mens Warehouse Online.

The young man I was with was really discouraged about weight gain, but he left confident and looking great! They make me feel important when I walk through the door. The clothes are nice, really nice. Its pricey, I will admit, but if you are a regular customer they hit you with a lot of coupons. Ive also found that the clothes I get here last a lot longer than the clothes I used to get, so I have actually saved money in the end.

The staff at this store is extremely friendly and helpful. They really helped to make my experience very productive and a lot of fun. I dont usually like to shop for chlothes at all but thanks to DXLs huge variety of styles and choices, combined with their amazing crew, I really enjoyed myself. I was able to fine a number of outfits that I really love.

I really wanted to like this place but the saleslady was just far too helpful for my liking.. Im a grown ass man and dont need my hand held, please just let me browse in peace. After her third time approaching in my in 10 minutes I had to walk out and will try a different location because I really just can not stand that kind of aggressive sales. Being polite is welcomed but if I say I will let you know if I have any questions or need help, that is what i mean.Selection also was pretty narrow in regards to styles and sizes seemed to be either a normal store large end or very large, nothing in between.. for example the suit jackets were all either 44-54 or 62+

I have gone here twice for my boyfriends clothing needs. They have always had a great selection and good quality of shirts and pants. Their ties are very handsome and artfully displayed, making it very hard to choose because theyre all so pretty! I have received excellent customer service from Melinda and her son Eli, very personal, knowledgeable, and good taste. Even though it is a bit of a drive for us (we live in SE Portland) we really enjoy shopping here!

I really love the clothes in this store . They have a plethora of quality styles for the big and tall guys. My husband and I purchased a suit, a jacket, several shirts, and jeans. The service was great and the scent in the store is fantastic

Found my new place for dress cloths. Being 69 260 with an athletic cut I was able to find some cloths that fit. 2 brands of suits fit. Once I found the suit I liked I went one their online store and found great deals. Some shirts came a little baggy in the gut. Hard to find athletic cut. If I had a little bigger belly I would fit most of the cloths in the store. The staff was amazing to work with and they do have an in store tailor that comes a few times a week to make adjustments. If you are tall... big... or both... this is a good store.

Very friendly staff and great selections! Some things are a bit expensive for my tastes but they always have clearance deals in store and online. Even when I pay full price for products there, though, I know its high quality. Wish there were more around here!

The prices are a littel high, but worth the price. I went looking for new big and tall clothes, I found what I was looking for, they also have good sales and the variety of different styles are fantastic. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

DXL is my go to location for buying clothing. They do alterations and they sell a broad range of brands, with their cheaper stuff being a pretty acceptable price/quality ratio. As I type this, the only thing Im wearing that I didnt get at DXL is my underwear, because they dont sell meundies.

The staff here is super attentive. I came to buy shorts, and there were none in my size... a woman working there went into the back and found every pair of shorts they had in my size, but I ended up buying a pair I didnt like as much as the ones on display. If they had what I wanted in my size this review would be 5 stars, but when you go into a store that is specialty for your size, and they end up not having anything in your size on display, its a little disappointing.

This location has a very good selection and the service was great. The man helping me was very helpful and very good. He was helping muliltiple people at the same time but still gave me the help I needed.

The sales people are friendly. The clothing is decent quality and mediocre style, but like all stores for larger size people, prices are extortionist. They do offer alterations.

The location is so much easier to get to. Their store is bigger and nice. Never had any issues finding what I need and getting help from the employees.

Went on 2/27/18 at opening. The store Manager Dawn helped me. I cannot say enuff nice things about Dawn. She was patient, and super knowledgeable. The store is fantastic. A big guy paradise. I spent a little less then 450 for 5 pants and 5 shirts so not bad. They even measured me and offered to tailor.The clothes are very high end but heavily discounted. Could not recommend this place more for any guy bigger then a 44 waist or 2xl shirt.

For big dudes this place is very handy. They have anything you need from casual to formal in sizes that will fit well. Major drawback: VERY expensive. But if you cant find things that fit anywhere sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet.

The staff is very nice, the selection is good, and the prices are high. Whatever your body type, they will most likely have the size to fit, and if they dont, they do have a Taylor that can customize it to fit.

The quality at DXL is great along with the selection of big and tall. The staff’s willingness to help is great, but their hidden costs are not. Purchased a sport coat and was told they could shorten the sleeves and adjust the side a bit no problem, but to have it done the same day was a $23 rush charge. I had no problem paying the rush charge, but no one said each alteration cost another $23 on top of the rush charge for a total of $46. Was told the rush job would only take 2 hours and ended up taking 3 hours. All I got were excuses when I raised my concern about their inability to complete the job in the time they stated. Great product, but if you need something altered take it somewhere else.

I was tasked with buying a suit for my brother who is shorter and 3XL. Unfortuanely, I only had my brothers measurements, height and weight. He wasnt able to come to Portland to try it on. The suit was going to be worn at a military funeral in a small town where there are no XL stores.Ken helped me. He was wonderful and knowledgeable. His picks were spot on and we were able to find pieces that worked. The prices were great and they have a good return policy. I was able to buy double the options and return what didnt fit. I will definitely come back and i highly recommend this store men who are XL.

As a big and tall woman I was welcomed with out judgement and after 4 days of looking this was the only place I could find a raincoat. All the womens big and talls didnt carry anything functional for me.

Great store for those who are tall or big. I am 65 so finding t shirts and pants that are Xtra tall can be a challenge at normal department stores. The spare people are very helpful, it wasnt busy when we went so there was a single person helping us the entire time. She was nice and very helpful. Only reason I docked ola star is because it is a relatively expensive store. Dont expect to walk in and out for under $100 unless your purchasing 1 or 2 shirts.

Great selection, accommodating staff but, like the sizes available, the prices are substantial. However, for those of us that are ample in girth, we dont have a lot of choice.

It used to be really hard for me to find clothes that fit and look good from most places. Luckily I found this place a while ago. I have been shopping here for years. The price is higher but its only because its quality clothing not to mention the consistent amazing customer service. These clothes last forever. I wear them to work everyday all year round and they still look great. I still have the first shirts I bought from there. They even have a couch and tv for your spouse, family, or whoever your with. They measure you, make sure your guests are comfortable, and help you get exacly what you want everytime. Sometimes things you didnt know you wanted. Over the years Ive never regretted a purchase from there. Im losing weight so my clothes werent fitting anymore. I just went in today and I bought a whole new wordrobe of great clothes I am confident will look great for a long time.

Casual male and the rebranded destination xl has a captured audience. Morbidly obese and overly tall people have only them as a viable shopping option. And they know it. A pair of levi jeans at Macys is $30 bucks but the same brand and style can go for $70. A button up shirt goes for $45 to $70. The cost isnt the only issue. The quality of clothing is abysmal. I have had several shirts, sweaters, and jeans which have had seams just unraveled. Every time i walk into a one of these stores i immediately get depressed knowing how bad the quality of material and selection of options is going to be.
