I love this place. One of the few big man size stores available

I was exchanging some toddler sandals I bought for my son 3 months ago because I was there the day before and was told I could, so when I took them I was told by costumer service I couldnt because they were so worn out which is why I wanted to either get a number to Jc Penney or Arizona Co, the shoes look like they were used 2 summers ago, the material didnt last and therefore it was the reason I wanted to talk to someone, I paid $40 and expected for it to hold throughout the school year, I was told I couldnt because I also didnt have a receipt, I never have returned shoes because I never have had to so I was upset to see this shoes not last. I asked if they could get me a number and since they couldnt they went ahead with the exchange. I cant believe the shoes arent made to last anymore, extremely disappointed.

Great place for affordable glasses ! I always wait fot the 2 for $99 sale and am always very happy with my new glasses ! The young lady who is always there when I go in, is very nice and very professional! She does get busy from time to time, but knowing how she is giving her all to each customer makes the wait not too bad! They always have the best selection!

They had good sales especially in Sephora I got my birthday freebies and a lot more stuff they had a lot of makeup on clearance and then a 30% off coupons so I really got a good deal on my other stuff it was a very nice day they were well stocked and the workers were really nice

The manager, Sharmane, was wonderful to my mother and I after having a not so good experience with another associate. She was completely professional in her manor of handling our situation.

I found my Homecoming dress there and it is a beautiful store but when I asked one of the shopping assistants about these dresses, she was very unfriendly.

I love JCPenneys. But they are under staffed. The lines were from the side door all the way past the Sephora Store. She asked for help but no one could help. So many people walked out. Management rethink your schedule.

Pennys is most always good. Only thing wrong right now. They use only one Ck out for the Whole store. To much Walking around.

It was a good experience, and nice people answering your questions .we bought a necklace for our little girl and is Soo cute she loves it .

We only had to return one item, and were sent to the upstairs cashier who were doing the returns. There was a line of about 5, and it took like nearly 15 minutes until we were at the front of the line.

I use to love to come to this store. I shop for everyone and myself, now its too depressing to even walk in. Workers still friendly just the store is not making me shop. Not even music playing in background, swap meets feel more welcoming.

Why are they so minimally staffed. Most of the registers are closed. Its nearly impossible to find employees. If you want to just check a price on something you have to wait in an enormous line.

Ordered an item for pick up. There was no tracking or info provided for my order, and when it finally showed up it was damaged . So I waited 18 days for nothing. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

This store has a great selection of apparel as well as good deals. They have enough stock onballbof their merchandise and the prices are far better than Ross or DDs. Also because of its location is the most convenient access point to the Promenade Mall as it sits in the middle of the shopping center.

Saved over 60% on a variety of clothes.

When I place my order online it said I could use curbside pickup. When I received my email to pick up my order I said I can use curbside pickup. I even download the app just to make curbside pickup easier. I called this exact JCPenneys before I went and the prayer recorded message said that I could use curbside pickup. Yet when I arrived and tried to use curbside pickup it said that it was not available at this location. I had to go into the store. I walked around the store two times and could not find the pickup location. I finally had to stop an employee and ask where pick up was. It turns out pickup is on the second floor. The shopping trip from hell! The employee did not even care to act a reasonable human being even though I did not bring up the curb side to him. He obviously hated his job. I do not plan to shop at JCPenneys again after this.

Typical department store, I like the xersion athletic wear... but I swear those levis are on sale all the time, maybe on sale from the mark-up?

JCPENNEY is always the best place to shop womens clothing. They have their best brands and brands that are economically attractive.

Their portrait department is absolutely the worst part of this establishment. We had a 4:15 appointment and we arrived 15 minutes early as common courtesy. Tell me why it took over and hour to finally be seen. Oh btw we have a 2 year old whose patience is that of well a 2 year old. So you can imagine trying to get her still after an hour of waiting. They should have realized how far behind they were and called us and say theyre an hour behind. STAY AWAY!!

Just had my hair done at the salon and I was very impressed. Every stylist was so friendly and helpful. Ernesta, my stylist was very knowledgeable and professional but also so good with my kids. Excellent experience, great prices! My hair turned out amazing! I would recommend this salon to everyone!

Went to get portraits done. Know better, but whatever. Claimed they were double booked on every appointment slot, told us they were 45 minutes behind but told us there were still 3 in front of us after the 45 minutes. Theres a reason stores like this are dying. Good riddance once theyre gone.

Good sales right now

The reason for the low rating is this, they could actually sell more product with an honest discount. Never mind getting the second item for just one cent, lower the pricing with reasonable discount like 40-50 % off, and their sales would increase dramatically. After all most of their products are made in countries that are far below cost of any American made product, and even at 50% off theyd still be making a lot of money.

Very disappointing experience Im sorry to report. JCPenney used to be an affordable place to shop with all kinds of sales. Now I find it very sneaky to have a sign that says 50% off in huge numbers and in small letters below it says when you purchase $30.00 or more on regularly priced items. My how times have changed...

I went on a mission to find jeans and a backpack purse. Epic fail. 😩

We went in looking for my Mom some pants, we not only found but purchased 12 pair of pants for Mom. & had the best customer service ever.

Had 30 people in line...had to get a pickup and still made me wait in line for 20min before separating us. I even asked 2 employees about it. I didnt do curbside bc I wanted to shop. Huge mistake. Then I get order and its wrong. So I waited for 30min just to return the item. Seriously??? JCP needs to fix customer service or you will go out of business!

Great day hardly anyone here, those who are have masks and 6ft apart. But the best thing is that almost every dept has something on sale plus with this hot heat wave what better place to be is in AC where there is no one around of course the inside Mall isnt open but there are a couple of stores that are and with 2 floors there is plenty to look at. They had plexiglass and masks on with sanitizer at the cashiers with floors marked. The bathrooms could of hand sanitizer station and the handicapped stall with the bars wasnt open both days I went had to have someone crawl under for me so I could use the restroom which made me feel better about it being clean

They’re rude. Manager in service didn’t want to apply a coupon to a $500 dollar purchase my dad did one day before, dad didn’t show the coupon; we asked before if that was possible and they said yes, I do this practice other retail stores without problem. I’m not a JC Penney’s customer, I won’t be anytime soon with this level of service.

I went this time because they had a great sale on boots. By the time I made it, the selection wasnt great, but I still found some boots I liked. Since the sale was by the jewelry section, the ladies that worked the jewelry tried to help us and show us where we could find other coupons for other stuff.Yolanda, one of the ladies that works in the jewelry department, was super helpful in the past when I was getting my wedding ring repaired and eventually replaced because they couldnt repair it. She found a gorgeous ring for me and set it aside, so I could take a look at it when I went to look at the rings after the repair failed. After looking at a bunch of rings, she brought this one out, and it was perfect. I commend her for taking the initiative to find me my ring.The reason for the 4 stars is because although they have some great employees, some were not as friendly, and they dont seem to have a lot of help in the shoe section. The sizes were a bit limited in number for larger sizes.

Went in their to buy shoes for my dad and they didnt have the size I needed. When I asked a lady for help, she was very kind and went to check for it on the computer and in the back. In the end, it was misplaced, but she was still very kind. The cashier was very welcoming and talked to me while I was checking out.

I went to return some white tees for a different size and they wouldnt do it cause I had no receipt ( brand new in the package never opened). Unbelievable! They wanted to give me $3 each on a $23 dollar item instead of a swap for same product different size.

Overpriced items to make like your getting a discount

Never goes out of favor with middle to lower class America. The portrait studio is way too small and not prepared for holidays. I had appt at 2 pm and was told to come back in 45 minutes.. I did not come back and never plan too 🤔

Temecula JC Penney is neatly organized. The associates are very friendly and greet you as you pass their registers! I went shopping for a mattress there and their staff is extremely friendly and informative! I give them 2 thumbs up!!!!

So on black friday why would you not have all registers manned. Secondly tell employees to scan faster 10 min checkout for 20 items.......just cloths no security devices.

In my opinion JC Penny has nice items and would benefit from putting half of their clothes away in the stock room, and displaying the rest nicely for purchase. The store itself is kept too HOT, hard to shop when all you want to do is get out. But I do like Jcpenny.

Store was clean and well organized. They will not accept online only coupons unless you ask for a manager. Best to print out first, very old school.

Waited over 15 minutes at jewelry repair before someone was able to look at my watch. Only three JCPenney team members were helping customers. Nobody at the repair counter.

Therefore I went to pay at jewelry and I was also going to look at earing to purchase and before I could say anything associate Yolanda said you cant pay here you can go over there and pointed to a further register and the associate there had the kind of attitude that she didnt want to help. Her having to walk back inside the register was rough. Thats sad that they cant perform the job they are getting paid to do so. Sales =happy customers.. changed my mind on purchasing anything at this time due to bad customer service.

Today I needed to exchange jeans that did not fit. I have a service dog with me, a big service dog. The sales lady working in the juniors department spent time helping me find the sizes and colors I was looking for in jeans. She really went beyond her duty and I was very happy with my purchase and they all FIT!

WARNING TO MOMS WITH BOYS. We took our son to get his hair trimmed here and it was a complete disaster! Our son has a big visible bald spot where the line is supposed to be. It must’ve been her first time cutting a little boys hair because he sits as still as a statue and she pulled his hair with the clippers a couple times. I will post a photo in yelp

They have really good deals plus always look for the online coupons and show at checkout. It can save you 15-20%. Plus you have to check out the portrait center. Lady there is awesome. She did a great job with all three of my kids.

Its a nice store. Plently of items to chose from. Customer service is great. They usually have great deals on their clothing. The store is cleaned inside and there are lots of parking spaces available.
