Bill and his team were great. We needed our entire upstairs done quickly before move in and they got it done in a professional and timely manner. Fair pricing, flexible, quick problem solving because our floor had some funky features, and helpful to have a knowledegable resource as this was our first time doing a project like this if any kind. Definitely would recommend.
We have held off on leaving this review for a while. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with this companys customer service. We did one bedroom of our house and the laborer was very skilled, but it took over 2 months for the owner of the company to schedule the job and send him out. When we wanted to do the second bedroom, we experienced a YEAR of delay, and the job never got done. Every time we called, the owners son said he was out. It seems the owner is never available. The son never retained notes or took messages about our various calls, despite us clarifying that we had placed a specific order for more vinyl. Occasionally during our dozens of calls, we reached the owner, who would always say Ah yes, I remember, I placed your order, let me check and Ill call you right back. He NEVER called back. Not once. Repeated lies. It seemed like a delay tactic, so we continued waiting, because after all we had placed an order of a specific vinyl with him and didnt want to start from scratch. We finally gave up. Absolutely terrible customer service and lack of professionalism.
I just had my floors done with this company and I highly recommend them. From the in-home consult to finishing touches, everything was completed professionally and flawlessly. Bill is very honest and offers the best price in town. After 3 quotes, we went to Flooring Direct because no other company could meet or beat their price. Caesar and Ignacio were amazing during the demo and installation process. They never hurried through the work. They provided quality work with attention to details.The team that install my baseboards were also exceptional. I highly recommend this company.
Working with Bill and his team was a great experience and ended up with a great floor. The entire process was very easy and Bill was helpful in explaining different products, quality,expectations, etc. The install crew were very professional and prompt. Contacted Bill for an estimate. He came to the property on a Wednesday, text me the same day that hed send the quote that evening. It never came. I followed up over the weekend and placed calls as well, he never returned them or even acknowledged the request.I understand you have a business to run but what I dont understand is the 10 seconds it would have taken to simply say my apologies but I cant service you at this time.Some common courtesy goes a long way.
RUDE!!! Called to get a quote and some man who answered the phone just hung up on me when I asked him if they installed carpet purchased elsewhere. I wouldve have purchased it from them BUT I guess thats lost business now!!
Staff are great communicators, decent pricing, and friendly customer service. They worked really hard to meet my deadline. I love my carpet and have no complaints!

My experience with Carpet Direct Temecula was by far the worse customer service experience in my life.My first visit to the store was on May 15, 2017. I walked right past the owner Bill, who basically didnt even acknowledge me as a customer for more than ten minutes. I should have walked out then and there, but I decided to give him another chance.We set up an appointment to measure for the following day in the afternoon. Bill didnt bother to show up or call. He offered the lame excuse of saying he thought I was another customer, who called that morning to cancel her appointment. Okay, so you messed up on two customers then, right?I rescheduled an appointment with Bill for two days later. Unlike other estimators, Bill did not leave me with a quote. He said he would go back to his office and email a quote to me. Kind of sounds like I should expect a quote that day, right? Or that same week? Nope! I received the quote from Bill FOUR WEEKS later after I called him. His excuse this time was that he didnt have my correct email address. Hmmm? So, in that case, you cant pick up the phone to call me? Is that too much to expect?By now, I am beginning to feel like I am pretty much dealing with a flake. Against my better judgement, I decided to give him yet another chance and I ordered the flooring I needed to match the one in my home. I paid for it over the phone in the amount of $1910.00. Bill said it would take two to three weeks for delivery and that he would give me a call when it came in. Forty-two days later, I called him. What is the status on my order? Have you ordered it? Have you received it? Just when were you planning on calling me?Now I am fuming! I have had it with his excuses and I want to talk to him immediately. I spoke to his employee and I was assured that Bill would be back in an hour or two at the most. As soon as he walks in, he would get my message and call me back. Yup, you guessed it, no call back.I sat down and wrote Bill a scathing email about all of his excuses and how I had lost all confidence in him. I no longer want to do business with you. I informed him that I was calling my credit card company to dispute the charge of $1910.00. I was tired of him wasting my time, and now I am moving on. This was at the end of July.I just learned that Bill rejected my refund and the $1910.00 was re-charged to my account. So, I have received NO GOODS or SERVICES, and the worst customer service ever, AND you want to charge me for it? I DONT THINK SO!Bill is now playing the blame the bank game, because in addition to his top notch customer service skills, he is also dishonest and lacks integrity. As I sit here and read this, I am shocked he manages to keep his doors open. One thing for sure...his competition has absolutely NOTHING to worry about!
