The gal on the phone was super helpful and informed me of the process and price. I was thrilled and was in the store within a few hours. Horrible experience. Will never do business with them again. Chose an item out of one of their catalogs and what I received from them was very disappointing. I paid $340 for a super thin ring that weighed less than a gram of gold.

At first my experience was going well until two major things happened. I took silver coins in to sell and they took some coins to their back room to go check the price and then conveniently came back telling me they werent silver even though I and they had previously checked them. They pulled a switch on me. My advice is to take pictures of everything you take to places like this and write down every detail that way no one can pull this same crap on you. They also would not honor their 20% discount they offered. They told me they were giving me the best price already and said they wouldnt honor the 20% I had previously earned. Never go to these people unless you want to be ripped off.

Moses helped me when I went in to sell a diamond ring. They offered the best price in town and had an amazing selection of jewelry. Will be returning if I ever need to buy or sell jewelry again.

If you are looking to sell your jewelry, heed this warning, do not go to Diamonds By Monet!!! I was looking to sell a Diamond ring and happened by this location since it is near my house. I had one of the staff take a look at the ring, mention that there was a minor flaw in the diamond and could give me $525.00 for it. I felt like it was worth more and decided not to sell it. Fast forward to a few days later and I decided that I was fine with letting it go for the original amount discussed ($525.00). I go back and the same staff member does an appraisal on the ring. This time around he tells me that there is a major flaw in the diamond and that they can only give me $238.00. I explain that on my original stop I was offered more and the guy proceeded to tell me that there was no way they would have offered that much (same guy who appraised it last time remind you). Long story short, I left the location angry, happened upon California Jewelry and Coin in Murrieta where they offered me $875.00 for the ring! Thank god I did not fall for Diamonds By Monets dirty practices and end up getting screwed out of almost $600.00. I will never step foot in that store again.Please be careful when selling jewelry here and I promise that if you go to California Jewelry and Coin in Murrieta, they will give you what your jewelry is actually worth.@Diamonds By Monet Please do not bother responding to this post with some banal explanation as to why you tried to BS me on the value of the ring, lie about the major: flaw in the diamond and gave me two different prices on two different stops I made. You guys are snakes! I have lived in Temecula since 1987 and will be telling everyone I know to never do business with you.

SCAM! the ad says 28 a gram for gold. thats not what he tried to pay and the web site says 49 a gram. its funny how much of a scam it is. i already had my necklace weighed somewhere else and he said it weighed less
