I went to Kay over a year ago to get my fiance wedding ring and my wedding ring. I was suppose to get married in August but do to the pandemic it was postpone to October, both my rings were engraved with the August date, Kay took care of my engraving hassle free on my rings and added the new date just in time for the wedding 4 day before the wedding. They were always in contact with me and letting me know the status of the rings.Thank you Nirvana for all your amazing customer service and your staff was great!!!

We have found the best Kay Jeweler from Ohio, with a stop in Virginia, and now California. Trudy has made our experience the best in the three states we have lived. She is knowledgeable of inventory and has helped us know and understand our purchases, as well as how to care for them. I would give negative stars if possible. I went in to get a pair of earrings for my wife for our anniversary. I settled on the earring style but wanted different stone put in. The saleswoman said they would have to send it out to get the stone put in. I made sure to ask the saleswoman if there would be any chance they might not be in on time for my anniversary. The saleswoman assured me that there would not be any problem at all. I asked again if she was sure because if there was the chance they would not make it on time then I would not have purchased them. Again she said it would not be a problem. The promise date was two days before my anniversary. The promise day came and no call from Kay. The next day the same thing. I called and they said there was some delay it would not be there until my anniversary day. My anniversary came and went and still nothing. I began to call them everyday and everyday it was the same thing. No matter who answered they always said they would look into it and call me back and no one ever did. Finally seven days after the promise day I received a call that it had come in. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. The saleswoman only told me she could get it to me by the day I wanted so she could make the sale. The earrings were okay, I probably could have gotten the same quality for less somewhere else. I will not ever shop at Kay Jewelers again and I would advise anyone else to seriously consider shopping elsewhere unless you have no other option.

My husband had a white gold bar necklace with our wedding date in Roman numerals made from them for me for Christmas. It was promised to him by December 19th. When he got there to pick it up, it didn’t have the chain. So they were going to send it back and have the chain added. After Christmas we went to finally pick it up, and the engraving on the necklace was not centered. So yet again they sent it back to get it fixed and promised it would only be a few days. About 2 weeks later they said it was ready, so I went to pick it up and they put on a 26” slide adjustable chain that looked incredibly cheap and was not the 19” chain it had the last time. So they were going to fix it yet again. It’s been over a week and still no necklace!! This is ridiculous, it’s been over a month!! NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!!

ZERO STARS Spend your hard money elsewhere. Bought my fiance a ring for $8,000 .we added extra engraving and changed the setting. Sales lady told me anything I wanted to hear to make the sell. All I got was empty promises and the run around. She promised the ring would be ready in a week. That turned into two week. Then into three. I called and told them we had to cancel engagement pictures due to their incompetence . I said I wanted a MANAGER to call me and that never happend. I got a $100 gift card to shut me up. Which Ill never use. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE YOULL ONLY BE DISAPPOINTED. SHAME ON YOU KAY

I don’t even think this store deserves the 1 star given. I recently moved up to this area from San Diego and have never had issues with my past location. This location charged me for service on a ring even though I had insurance, it took 3 months to completely get my ring fixed which was only missing 2 little stones and then almost 7 months to get a refund on the charge. When I got my ring back 2 days later the stones fell out, I took it back in to get fixed and waited once again to get it back and when I did the prongs were way to high and scratched everything then I lost stones again within the same day I picked it up. I took my ring back the next day and was greeted with a rude woman who only wanted to speak to my husband. Uhm excuse me but I’m the name on the account, it is my ring being serviced. They took my ring and I’ve been waiting and trying to get ahold of someone for 3 weeks. I called 4 times today and they finally answered and placed me on hold for 6 minutes. The store can not be that busy at 10 am. Then the woman on the phone told me that my ring has been there since the 8th of this month. I asked if they call or anything to notify the customer that their jewelry is back and she said no. Well how in the heck am I supposed to know when to pick it up. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at kays and will no longer be purchasing anything from them. This store is ridiculous and needs to be cleaned out. I have never been so upset with customer service!!!

I was helped by someone that really had no interest in helping me at all. This was a pickup for a resized ring. She asked me for my order slip, and when I pulled what was given to me at the time of purchase she said it wasnt the correct one, walked away from me and said she was just going to look me up by customer name. She then asked me whats the ring? . I told her it is a 10k rose gold mens wedding band. Then she narrowed her eyes and asked if it was a special order. I told her not that I know of, I just needed the ring resized and I was notified by the store that it was ready. I also asked the store about shipping options. She provided no help. She looked shocked I even asked. She found the ring and was about to package and hand it to me only to be intercepted by the woman that helped me purchase the ring the week before that. She told her to wait and read the note on the ring. No adjustments had been made because the ring was made from two types of material and altering the piece would have damaged it. The first woman did not apologize nor look at me after almost letting me walk out of the establishment with that ring. She just walked away. The original seller however, was beyond helpful. I was very pressed on time for me and my husband were relocating to Spain within the next 2 weeks. She rushed the order and I had my ring even earlier than promised. She was amazing from the time I purchased my ring to the second I picked it up. The other woman did not handle the situation professionally, very poor customer service on her part.

Sadly they dont listen and cant comprehend what actually needs to be done when they send their rings to get serviced. Had to send the wifes ring back 3 time each period longer return than the last. So I financially just took the ring Ill be going to a completely different store and maybe they can pass to the jeweler the problems instead of just shining the ring. Also they never notify you or bother to get a message out to you stating when your item has returned so they just send it away if you dont magicly show up within 3 days of them receiving it and not saying they have it. Garbage place would rate less if I could. Go somewhere else if you want to get better help.

Never buy from here I bought a ring that costs 1575 and then I go and look at my bill for it and they charged me 2069. They asked me if I wanted the wedding band and I said no and they still put it on the bill and charged it. The crazy part is they didnt even give me the wedding band.

Nothing but problems with this store. They never call when they say they will.. our orders always take way longer than they say it will. We purchased a wedding band, sent it to get resized 3 months b4 our wedding and when it finally got in ( way later than they quoted, and never did call us) it was a completely different ring. Luckily my husband liked it better so we needed to get it sized of course, but we were afraid we wouldn’t get it back in time for the wedding, so we waited til after to send it in. when we didn’t hear from them again like they said, we called and they told us because of new company merger they can no longer take orders unique sizing method we need.. wth? But we were told we had to get the special sizing because of the kind of ring it was. Anyway we plan on returning this ring.

Been coming here for years, spent thousands dollars in this store. Wont be happening again. They lost my wifes necklace that I had purchased for her and had all of my kids birthstones placed on it after they were born. Was adding the third and final one for her birthday this year. They lost her necklace and gave her the runaround for almost a month. Omar is literally the worst store manager I have ever come across, he was rude, wouldnt return any of my wifes phone calls, and had his sales people handle the situation instead of doing it himself. This store was awesome for years, guess they didnt want to keep that reputation going. Absolutely terrible, if you are looking for Jewelery, dont shop here, they might lose it.

I love this store. Ive bought my son, I birth stones, other things, also I have a Kay Jewelers card. The manager is outstanding, her workers are great. They treat u like ur family, help u pick out something right just for u and not just tell u anything just too get money outta u. Everytime I go to Kay Jewelers its so much love in there. I live in Indiana and I had bought a ring at the Kay jewelers store here and had it shipped when I had the mother in law pick it up I was told it was free sizing but would not be ready in time for Christmas. Well the wife went back today and they told her that they never said that and that it will cost an extra 40.00 on top of the 2,300 I spent there. When I called the manager she told me that she was the person who sales rings everyday and I was not and then hung up. I will never ever go to Kays again

On August 31 2018 I had ordered my engagement ring and that I should have it in two weeks so weeks had pass and I havent heard from anyone about my ring I have to call to check on it and they told me that they have to do a special order and someone will call you so on the end of September I call again and they told me that I was promised that I should receive it on October 20 still nothing so waiting that long they want to take 5.00 out of my payment of my ring whats all of that I think thats not right its going to be two months already will see if Ill get my ring this time cause they told me that I should receive it on November 3 if they tell me other excuse Ill tell them you could have it and Ill never ordered from Kays jewelry again Ill shop to other place so to you all think twice before you shop for a engagement ring cause you never know I made a big big mistake shopping for a engagement ring at Kays jewelry
