I only have one complain...the food and cappuccinos didnt have much taste. Very bland. My mother and I ordered caramel cappuccinos and croissant sandwiches with ham and spinach inside. The ham were tiny square pieces. I expected a slice of ham. But I do have to say everything was very fresh, didnt wait too long for our food or cappuccinos. Prices were reasonable, staff were nice, only patio seating.
Considering this is French place and I have been in France about 8 times throughout most of France from Brittany to Carcassonne ... France is one of my most favorite places in Europe the history, architecture and most importantly the creation of restaurants...The French toast is fantastic...not too sweet...The coffee is fantastic! I would recommend not getting an iced one as the iced has way to much milk/almond milk etc...The most important is the croissants which are terrific!!I might even consider them catering...I wish they had a little more service outside...Its hard to find a waiter...but I understand it is a fine balance between service and costs...
Wow, so delicious! I couldn’t resist stopping by when I saw a variety of quiche on their menu. Wish I could make my eggs taste that good! They were out of quite a few quiches on a Saturday, so get there early if you’re choosy. I had the mushroom one, and it was incredible (and I’m a bit picky about mushroom flavor).I also had an almond milk cookie butter latte- and wow. So delicious, and wasn’t the type to leave me with a stomach ache. The salad served with the quiche was fresh and had great flavor. We’d come back!
Great place! We just sat on the brick wall and talked we loved our drinks. It was such a beautiful day!
Very nice out of the way place. Owners are from France and we started going there when they first opened. 8am the place is packed because the coffee, pastries, and breakfast are so good. A local gem and incredible staff.
Amazing! Its like stepping into France for breakfast. The staff are Genuinely Classic. Be ready to wait in a long line, but totally worth it. We will be back again and again.❤
Amazing breakfast/brunch place. Beautiful presentation and great service. Our waitress Colette was the kindest, sweetest person. She recommended the butter crêpe. I wouldn’t normally order something with orange water as I don’t like that flavor but I’m glad I went with her recommendation. It was really delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Quiche was good and potato gratin was delish.Sadly very disappointed with the service. Too bad they don’t wear name tags but caution when I say girl upfront does not do well under pressure, should probably be moved from taking orders and having any contact with customers. We love to support our local businesses and are saddened we won’t be coming back here. But thank goodness the French Skillet opened a few months ago, I hear great things about their food and customer service.
Came to Temecula for a golf round and needed a good, quick bite to eat. We stumbled upon Le Coffee Shop because most of the other restaurants were packed on a Sunday.I’m very glad we ended up coming here because the food was fantastic.I ordered the Le Bistro Sandwich. It came with sliced turkey breast, smoked turkey bacon, chipotle sauce, emmental cheese, and avocado on sourdough bread. Wow. It was pretty much a perfect sandwich. Everything inside was tender and juicy and the sourdough was toasted perfectly. My friends ordered the classic breakfast sandwich and loved it. Said that the eggs were amazing and the croissant was perfectly flaky and delicious. The potatoes au gratin that comes with the plate is remarkable as well. Everything was shockingly good for how fast it came out. We must have waited only 10 minutes for all the food.Highly recommend this place if you want something delicious and quick.
Amazing French toast & super friendly staff!
Enjoyed a nice French toast with a lavender, almond milk cappuccino. Super delicious!! Their macaroons are delicate and decadent! Highly recommend!
This place is scrumptious! I grew up in France so I’m picky about my French places and this place is authentic. The owners are French and we spoke some Francais 😌But the food!! I have yet to try something that was not excellent. I’ve tried all croissants 🥐, croque madame, potatoes gratin, cafe au lait, and quiche! Awesome service too! I can’t wait to return! Top quality ingredients, good prices, great food presentation and delish! Merci!
My sister and I shared the goat cheese and leek quiche with a side salad, almond croissant and a double espresso over ice, she had a cold brew. We were pleasantly surprised that we enjoyed it all. The espresso was very smooth and well rounded, deep with just enough acidity. My sister really liked the cold because it was smoky, different than most cold brews. The quiche was so perfect with the goat cheese and the crust had a nice buttery flavor and flake to it. Didnt taste like dough made with shortening. The side salad had a nice crunch with the mix of veggies and was tossed with honey Dijon vinegarette. The almond croissant was so yummy. It was so fluffy and had a nice flake, tasted so fresh! The inside was not super sweet which I enjoy because I hate when pastries are overly sweet. Definitely will go back.
Very good food and I love the cappuccino. It would be better if the have some kind of owning to shade the patio. Oh do not forget the croissant. Fast forward (2020 was the year that I want to fast forward) I cam back in April of 2021 and the place is bustling. New extended patio with owning provides the shade. I love this place. This time I had their French toast. Really, really good. This place gets really busy on weekends.
7/21: Lavender latte was just okay. It wasn’t special, which bummed us out. Although we were okay with the service, we were a bit shocked at the abruptness of the servers towards the customers that came in as we waited. They seemed short tempered? Odd atmosphere. Cute shop. Clean. Enough tables outside.
Right off the fwy in Old Town Temecula and what a surprise 🤯 Its a French bakery/ restaurant. City vibes plus you get a great view of the mountains..definitely a nice place for a coffee date! The owner is from France and the food was amazing 👏 Came in for an Americano and left feeling like I found the best coffee shop in all of Socal. Its kinda wild. Thanks to Yoann for hooking me up! I watched patrons stop by and it feels like everyone knew each other and had been long time friends.
Yoanne the owner is one of the most rude people Ive ever experienced in my life. Also, the food is absolutely horrid. I dont think my dog would even eat it. They got my order wrong, and he just didnt care. The out door seating is hard and uncomfortable. The food was burned.
Their bakery is one the bests in this area. If you like dark roast coffee you would like theirs. Crowded on weekends.
The coffee was excellent, not the salad I had. It was too sweet.
How did I miss this!! Been there twice now. Being full-blooded German, I love my breakfast rolls, etc. This place is awesome. Food and coffee is delicious, and to hear authentic French just tops it off. Had the quiche and fruit. Amazing! And the presentation is a delight. The only complaint: More seating, please. This place is always packed.
The Cookie Butter latte was decadent, almond croissant a good appetizer before our meals came out which was very quick. The quiche was the best Ive ever tasted.
Absolutely loved my breakfast here. I had the spinach quiche and it was one of the best quiches I have ever had.
We got a waffle and a breakfast sandwich. Both were really good! The waffle was a big winner. Well definitely be back!
Strong, good espresso. Professional barista, pretty waitress. What else you need more?
We came for brunch today, it was our first time here. It was delicious! I had the French Toast and my wife had the Quiche, both were very good. Highly recommend this place. Seating was a little limited, but well worth the wait for us.
The portions are a little small but the taste of the eggs is amazing my sons eyes opened wide when he took his first bite. Staff is friendly and helpful.
They have the best crepes, especially with Nutella. And they add fruit on the side that you can add on top of the crepes itself
The owners are legit French certified bakers. They are very kind and quick with a smile, I recommend their ham and cheese croissant and a warm latte, nice and creamy
Worth the visit. Great breakfast sandwiches, coffee, & pastries.
Such a great find! Amazing coffee, delicious food and fantastic fast service. Absolutely will be a new go to spot and I can’t wait to try more!
Had one of their omelets and it was amazing! I like coming here with my husband for a coffee and the pastries they got there, which were both delicious! They have outdoor dining and they do take out. The staff are also very friendly.
Food was okay. Service was lacking. Three staff members stood talking to each other for at least few minutes behind the counter before acknowledging us. Girl who took our order told us she was not normally an angry person, but that she just threw food at a customer...not sure what was up with that, but set a weird vibe. Coffee was tasty, but probably wont be returning.
Great variety, tasty food and good service
Classic European Style to go Breakfast and Pastries with Patio Dining. The Best Breakfast in all of Temecula. Highly Recommended.
No mask in sight whatsoever- neither the cashier, nor the waitresses, nor the kitchen staff! And you can’t tell that they don’t believe in vaccinations! It was an appalling experience! I wouldn’t be surprised if the employees didn’t wash their hands after going to the bathroom! Please read the owner’s response below! I’m an epidemiologist and physician- I have worked in the front line for the past 15 months. Not sure how I’m the stupid one here!
Very friendly staff absolutely great, food pretty good as well atmosphere great
Great service, very friendly and welcoming. Pastries were out of this world.
Great food. Good service.
Great friendly staff great french food and excellent coffeePS the almond cruisant is to die for
Almond croissant is a dreamy perfection of goodness! Was a little disappointed when I got there at 10:00am and they only had one left and the person working there goes “You need to get here at 7:00am to be guaranteed to get one or more.” If they are so popular, why not make more? Just a suggestion :)
If you havent gone hear I highly recommend it. From the pastries to the breakfast was fantastic!! Their coffee was rich and smooth!! So good!!
Been here multiple times and have yet to have anything other than a great meal. The food is spectacular and truly the closest you can get to eating legitimate French cuisine without taking a trip to France. Staff is great, friendly and always helpful. If youve never been, definitely go. You will be happy you did.
Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service in Old Town Temecula. Prices, menu, and cleanliness are outstanding!
Everything about this place is ❤❤❤. The customer service is beyond the best and the food/drinks are made with luv.
Great service, coffee was ok (Im a coffee enthusiast and felt it wasnt very strong), fruit bowl was amazing with great variety!
Oh yes, this deserves the rave reviews. Im a foodie and baked goods are at the top of my list. This is a quaint little bakery on a side street in old town Temecula. You wouldnt think twice if you walked by it. But...this...is...the REAL...deal. An *authentic* french bakery, just a few tables and chairs inside an outside. A limited menu that is top notch - if only Id been able to go back and try their other items. I had a latte and a almond cinnamon roll, one of the best, if not the best, pastries Ive ever eaten. My friend confirmed that her berry muffin was very good, as well. The french gentleman, assumed to be the owner, brought our drinks and food to our table, mine served on a cutting board. Dont be in a hurry - remember it is a small shop, be patient, relax, take a moment to enjoy a slice of France. Absolutely perfect, 10 out of 10!
Especially like the almond croissants here. Get there early if Yu out want them because they sell out fast sometimes. To here breakfast sandwiches are very good as was the coffee. Friendly staff. We always stop by when were in the area.
Everything there is just delicious rating this with 5 starts is wrong, this place need to be rate with 10 starts.
Delicious pastries and drinks. Definitely worth the wait if there is one!
Food lives up to it excellent reviews. Great customer service too.
Service was fast and friendly. The order was exactly as ordered. Had a very good experience, you will too. Get there early, they usually gave a long line.
This place is my new favorite eatery here I old town temecula. My wife ordered the ham and cheese omelet with a side of fruit. I ordered the ham and cheese croissants with a side of scallops potatoes. AMAZING. The eggs in the croissant were excellent and fluffy not over done. The croissant itself was flaky, buttery, and perfectly made. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
Great potatoes au gratin and croissant with lox. Fast and friendly.
Food was good, rating 1 Star for Covid precautions. Says mask required online but had multiple women ordering and going inside without masks ...staff said nothing. Hostess kept having mask slip below her nose and mouth and would actively pull her mask down to say something. Could see staff in kitchens with mask below nose. Very uncomfortable if you care about mask safety etc
Had the loveliest brunch date this morning at Le Coffee Shop and WOW.I had the French toast (made from bread pudding) and a salted tiramisu latte with almond milk. Keith had the salmon omelette, potatos au gratin, salad and a piccolo latte (I think with almond milk) with a pump of pistachio and a pump of vanilla.A MUST is the almond croissant. It was so perfectly flaky, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavor was perfect. Everything about our brunch was perfect. Also, Cher at the register was the absolute best!Be sure to talk a stroll around downtown Temecula and enjoy the lovely weather
The customer service is fantastic and the food is incredible!
All the food there is really good and fresh. Coffee is good too especially the lattes they make cute designs. A good hidden gem.
Went for takeout, were helped right away at the counter, got 2 pastries while we waited, they tasted so good 🤤, food came out quicker than expected. Definitely going back.
Great food and fast service. Will definitely visit again.
Out door eating short menu but great omelet and better than Star Bucks coffee.
This food was so good, I cant even stop thinking about it, I just want to keep going back there
Great coffee and uniquely French in a SoCal fashion
Staff was really nice and helped me navigate my tricky dietary restrictions due my chronic illness. Food was delicious and fresh.
The food I ate was good. The coffee was awesome. I would have preferred to be served instead of ordering and sitting.
Great coffee and great food! Took my fiance here for valentines day and it was worth the wait!
The best croissants in town
Omg omg omg omg omg omg so amazing..Im in love with this place & I got my food to go. My go to for belgium waffles..on point!!🥰❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍
Croissants were nice, but the staff were not wearing masks which was disappointing.
I recommend the tiramisu latte and the croque monsieur. Great little place to have in downtown Temecula.
Delicious French style food and coffee. A bit of French attitude too. ;-)
Unreal, this place is a coffee joke...and no wifi, lame service and all types of excuses for lack of service...not due to Covid either. I asked for a receipt..because they didnt give me one and I had to ask for it. This place should be called Sleepless Coffee shop.
Real authentic French Cafe! 10 star! Merci
