This was my first order and the food was absolutely amazing!!The food was cooked perfectly. The prices were reasonable and you get a good amount of food too. Cant wait to order again.

This is the best pizza Ive had since moving to Florida from The Bronx 18 years ago! Finally a pizza with real sliced sausage instead of those meat clusters. The wings were perfect and a traditional Antipasto salad! BRAVO!👏🏾 My new neighborhood pizza place 😊.

I had the chance to eat Italian food throughout my travels all over the world and although some was good and some not so good, the” fruti mari” I had from Capri on cross creek ave in Tampa, Florida was by far the best Italian food I had!!! The owner or manager is very rude. I was told to read the menu when I asked for a fountain soda and was told that I am only allowed a canned soda, and to read the sign when I asked why the bill was more than the displayed sale price. I asked about the meatball appetizer and was curtly told, read what the menu says. They wouldve had a faithful customer had they been friendly, and, possibly consider, oh, offering a bite size sample, or the fountain soda that I went in there for instead of being directed to get my drink out of the freezer. Yes, the slices are as small as they appear in the pic. 7.50 for that and a can of coke. Oh, and just found its cold after a 5 min drive home. Never again.

I give the pizza 5 stars but the customer service is 1 star. I am a frequent customer and they got my order wrong and the manager offered me my free topping on my next order. Well I already paid for it so it wasn’t free. Guess I will find another place.

I live 30 mins away and happened to be in the area on a Sunday evening, I decided to stop in for a quick piece of pizza on the go. Little did i know i was about to get the best piece of pizza Ive had in the 20 years since i moved here from NY (I know good pizza). Ill definitely make the trip from Brandon again to try some other items from their extensive menu.

Honestly the best Italian food I had in my life, everything was more than perfect, the pizza and salad and pasta were all cooked to perfection, the staff are more than friendly, amazing experience.

Ordered the chicken parm dinner and it was so tasty and a very large portion. Garlic knots were yummy!!

The food is always delicious! We have ordered the garlic knots, the penne ala vodka, baked ziti, seafood pasta and finally the best calamari.Today we tried their tiramisu and it’s absolutely decadent!!!

My family and I love going to this little restaurant! The food is always fresh especially the seafood. Their fried calamari is some of the best I’ve ever had and the pasta is amazing. I’ve always had great customer service experiences as well. You can tell the owner really cares about quality ingredients and timeless recipes.

Had take out and they forgot to give me tortillas for my fajitas. Same story unfortunately. Lowsy service but good food. Be prepared to wait for your food for a while.

I have enjoyed the stuffed shells with meat sauce on several occasions in the last few months and they are PHENOMENAL!!!! Your stuffed shells are the best that I have found here in the South and I’m coming from Boston’s North End... I don’t think I need to explain further 😜

When ever I come visit my familia this way ..i ALWAYS Stop here. I even got a slice for lunch tomorrow. The food is AMAZING. I live in south tampa and wish there was pizza places like this near me!!! Even take out the food is great. Yes w every place there is issues ups and downs but to be able to get slices of anything you want pkus pastas, entrees, pizzas, cheese stuff, meat stuff etc. Its Awesome. They even do dough tricks. See pics Id suggest trying this place even 1.2.3.4.5 times. Its in a Little plaza away from Everything. Worth it. I live .4 miles away....if I got it everyday is be 300 lbs......so worth it thought. Their Sicilian pizza is the best weve had since we moved down from NY. Even though we were full, we couldnt stop eating and ended up eating practically the WHOLE ENTIRE PIE! LOL! The sauce, the crust, the mozzarella....mamma mia..its PERFECTION! We usually have several slices leftover but not this time! There was only one slice left from earlier and here we are... hours later fighting over that last slice. This is unprecedented since we moved to FL. Lol! Sooooo so so GOOD! Had to write a review. Thank you Capri! We love you! We definitely will be back for more!

Love this place! Everything is fresh and taste incredible. My usual order is a spinach calzone with spinach and garlic no cheese no oil and extra marinara sauce. Great vegan and healthy option.

Capri Pizza in New Tampa has absolutely amazing food. The owner brings his Middle Eastern flare to classic Italian dishes and the result is delicious! Their lunch specials bar very reasonably priced. Great food and great service!

I was craving some baked pasta and stumbled upon this place and WOOOOOW! Capris hit the spot. I also tried their pizza by the slice and also delicious! I had their manicotti and I cant wait to go back and try their Ziti!

This review is coming from a fellow restaurant owner. Unfortunately, i received incredibly poor customer service at this establishment. The pizza is OK, however, the rest of the food was below mediocre. Whoever takes the orders is very rude and demeaning for no reason. My experience was very poor & this is definitely not how I run my place of business, therefore, will not be ordering Capri in the future. So many lovely pizza joints in New Tampa, highly recommend, “Taste of New York” !! Amazing food & you receive proper customer service every time.

The food is great and the staff are always friendly. Ive tried a few different items on the menu but so much more to explore. The pizza is a no brainer however, I like it simple and only get cheese and pepperoni. The calamari comes mild or with a spicy dipping sauce thats great and the spaghetti and meatballs were the best Ive had in a long time!!!

Some of the best Italian food you can get in the area! My personal favorite is the chicken parmesan sub and lobster bisque. Garlic knots are delicious as are most of the pastas. Pizza is great too! Cant go wrong with this place, amazing food all around!

Found this little gem a year ago and NEVER have they failed me!!! Food is always fresh & tastes amazing!!! Service is always great!! Take my family here once or twice a month. The owner is always nice, and possesses good customer service. The older Caucasian female working the counter (the past two times I’ve visited) is rude and gives an attitude, just as other posts mentioned.

Me and my Girlfriend who owns Dolly Monroe Studios in the same plaza eat here all the time. Great food, fast service and decently priced. The people that work here are always friendly to us. Me, being from New York, its VERY HARD to find quality food especially Pizza places in Florida. Happy this place is neighboring us! I just placed another order before I wrote this review!

Pizza is amazing, older blonde lady in the front is very disrespectful every single time i’ve been in there. Multiple other people i’ve talked to have also said the same. so if she fixes her miserable attitude it would be a 5 star experience.

Best chicken parm around! We always get that with a salad and garlic knots. We are a family of two adults and one child. That fed us for two nights!

The new design and layout of the restaurant is very attractive and clean. The staff is awesome! They are so personable and accommodating. Everyone makes you feel very welcome as soon as you walk in. The menu has tons of options and everything Ive tried from the pizza to the pasta has been delicious! Their specials and general pricing is a great value for all the food you get. I recommend giving this place a chance, it definitely wont disappoint!

Stopped by here the other day while visiting relatives in Florida. We ordered a few specialty pizzas and a salad; everything was excellent. As a NYC resident I can confirm the NY-style pizza claim is valid, their pizza is very similar to that found in NYC. Will definitely be coming back.

Paid $17 bucks for shrimp fettechine which was gross! Couldnt eat it, neither could my cat! Shrimp was frozen & sauce was too milky. Called asking to replace it. Nope. Owner made no attempt to make amends. I will never go there again & I WAS a loyal customer.

I go during lunch; the prices arent bad. The penne vodka is my favorite, with their pizza coming in second. The pasta is definitely enough to share, though its delicious enough to not want to.I am so happy they have thin crust pizza. It reminds me of NYC pizza. All you taste is cheese and flavor (not overloaded with bread).Brianna is a wonderful server. Always cheerful and professional.

Their calzones are the best in Tampa and a staple within our family. Im also a big fan of the specialty pizzas they offer, one of my favorites is the cheesesteak pizza. Great food, staff and overall fun atmosphere.

Best pizza spot ever! I have lived in Tampa for 11 years and nothing has came close. Extremely friendly staff, perfect pizza, and even delicious sweets. It is definitely a must try place if you havent been. Next time you want pizza, this is the place to go.

New owners are great! Been here a dozen times over the last few months and always receive great service and full size portions priced just right. They even have OUTSTANDING grilled chicken salads for those watching their weight. Cant wait to get back this week.

Great food and even better people! Wael is a very attentive owner/chef and always stops by to make sure that everything is good. Cheesecake is amazing, and so are the garlic knots. Definitely worth any detours you would have to make to get there, we come all the way from Webster (over an hours drive) once a week just to eat and say hi.

So I ordered 20 wings and celery w/ ranch. I picked them up, got home and then realized I only had 10 wings and no celery. No problem, Ill just call them and they will set this straight. Too bad they only offered for me to either come all the way back and pick up my other 10 wings or they would offer me credit for another 10. I dont know about you, but I would expect something a little more for the inconvenience. I would love to give this place a higher rating and potentially buy wings from them again, but they have zero concept on how to correct a wrong. Im done with them.

Excellent food, the cannoli, the garlic knots, the white pizza, the chicken fettuccine are all must try items!!! Im from NJ/NY area so its very very hard to compete when you come from the NE but their food is just as good if not better than the pizza places there! So happy to have found this restaurant its a MUST GO restaurant!!!

Every pizza shop in the Tampa area claims to be NY Pizza...and guess what?? When you try it, the pizza is not close to tasting like NY Pizza!! Ive been in the Tampa area for close to two year now...I grew up eating a slice with extra cheese as a native New Yorker. And then I tried a regular pizza with extra cheese from Capri Pizza-N-More located at Cross Creek. WHAT??!!!?? Now, this is what Ive been missing! The pizza is great and is definitely New York-esque pizza! I am extremely picky (EXTREMELY) but I am a fan and will ONLY purchase pizza from Capri at this location. Susan and the staff are also very friendly. Check them out! You wont be disappointed!

Hard to judge but it was a 3 for me on the Hawaiian Pizza. My kids gave a 5 to the original white sauce pizza. The cheese one could be less fatty, but still good.

The only thing item I like there is the pizza but other than that all the other food has such a low quality taste to it that I stomach feels nauseous after eating it.

Outstanding!It is so hard to find good pizza in the south with a of the crappy chain joints around.This just took the tie for my favorite pizza place and I have been going there for over 25 years. I see my chiropractor in the same plaza and schedule my appointments around the time Capri opens so I can get a hot and fresh slice or two. Will have to try the soup next time.My only complaint is they dont have one near me in the San Antonio/Wesley Chapel area of Pasco County.🤤🍕 😋 👍👍

This is a very good neighborhood Italian restaurant. A lot of pizza take out, but the pasta dishes they serve inside are very good and large portions. Small inside (maybe only 10 or 12 table), but almost never a wait to be seated, I think because much of their business is take out. I think we should all support neighborhood restaurants!

I always go for the lunch specials they have a deal Chicken Caesar wrap soda and fries for 7.50 plus tax or two slices of pizza and a drink for 4.99. The people have always been very nice the food is good thats why I keep coming back.

Would NOT recommend! I spent $40 on 2 pizzas to go..I asked for no onions, they put onions. I drove all the way home, across town. I got home, found onions..my husband, who works very hard and hates onions, had to pick onions out of his $40 pizza. So make sure you clarify your order before you drive all the way home....
