I bought 2 used rugs and wanted to get them cleaned.Matt offered to come and pick them up and said they were nice handmade rugs. I appreciated the effort.The 9x12 is a wool rug and was quoted at $1200 to clean. The 9x6, also a wool rug and $600 to clean.I blame myself for not price shopping around at this point but feel I way over paid.Matt shared all sorts of amazing history and details about the used rug I got. He also said my rug was worth $8-9k and offered to post it for sale. I told him I’d love to sell it. I never heard back from him.I should have posted this months ago but find myself still bothered by the price. And sadly I need the rugs cleaned again and wouldn’t spend the money.

Very professional and great work and service. Great attention to detail. My beautiful rug was cleaned, repaired and restored to better than new. They were able to tell me the origin and name of the artist of my rug which was hand made in Pakistan and signed by a very famous artisan.

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we are really pleased with the job they did on our rug in the dinning room, repairs and cleaning, and have sent 2 others to be done. I inherited several old persian rugs that were very dirty and badly in need of repair. Matt and his team have restored them to look like brand new. We are perplexed by Royal Oriental Rugs and very concerned at this point. They picked up three of our rugs for repair and cleaning in May, told us they were museum pieces, and we cant get an answer from them as to why we dont have them back and its September.

I just bought my first Oriental rug from Matt Falli at Royal Oriental Rugs on Bay to Bay Blvd. Matt is wonderful to work with and his goal is to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Chinese Oriental rug had not been cleaned in a few years. Matt picked it up along with another small rug. Both were returned about 2 weeks later and both looked great. Price was higher than I had expected but then again, it had been a while since the last time.

OMG! What wonderful service. I have an Oriental rug I purchased overseas about 40 years ago. Besides needing a through cleaning, there was a burn, and my cats had destroyed the fringe. Matt provided a free estimate, pick up and return and did an amazing job. He also cleaned an area rug, and a Flokati and provided me with carpet pads . I have a carpet that badly needed cleaning. As soon as I unrolled it the guys at Royal Oriental rugs told me where it was from, roughly how old it was, what kind of dyes were used, etc. They really know their stuff! And I was glad that what they said matched what I was told when I bought the rug in Istanbul 20 years ago.They did a terrific job cleaning my carpet. It looks new again.

We had two antique Chinese rugs badly in need of repair and cleaning. Matt came to our home and gave us an estimate, and picked the rugs up. They had to be cleaned, repaired and dyed. Big job completed very well. Clean and repair two large, semi-antique, hand-knotted Persian rugs; clean one hand-knotted Chinese rug. Matt provided great education about the rugs and showed us what he needed to do to get them back to beautiful. He fully explained the process to clean and repair each rug. The work needed was extensive and took some time to complete. The rugs are back in our house now and look terrific. It was well worth the money/time.

We just had Royal Oriental Rug Co clean and repair 29 very fine Oriental Rugs for us. Many of the rugs needed repairs where moths had eaten the wool as well as other repairs. All the rugs were cleaned . Many needed repairs. All rugs received new bindings around the perimeter.Matt Falli, the owner, came to our home and spent four hours looking at each rug to determine the needed repairs. Matt took the rugs from our home toHis shop where they were professionally cleaned, repairs completed, bindings were installed and returned to us placing them in their appropriate location back in our home.All rugs received newpadding..We paid a visit to the shop where the service was done and met the two employees that do the repairsAs well as other employees in the shop. Everyone we met was very professional and knew what they were doing.Some of our rugs are 75 years old. They were returned to us in “ as new “ condition.We are very pleased we chose Royal Oriental Rug Coto clean and repair our beautiful, antique, handmaderugs. We highly recommend this company.

Matt and Rocky were very knowledgeable and professional in handling six oriental rugs ranging from 3 x 4 to 9 x 10. One rug was over 80 years old and they did a marvelous job cleaning, repairing the fringe and making sure that I was pleased with the result. My signature Bokharas look fantastic. We have been beyond happy with the work Majdi and the team at Royal Oriental Rugs has done. We have had them clean and restore several valuable Persian rugs and the results have been beyond expectations. I took and old carpet (6x9 )for repair and cleaning to the store in Dale Mabry. Mr.Rocky helped me out and advised what I need to do. He was very helpful and show me all the places around the carpet that needs to be fix. I paid $400 for reviving, cleaning and rebinding new fringe .It looks great and ready for another 40 years.

Extremely great quality I went to pick up my rug and there was a very very small dust spec on it and he refused to let me leave unhappy and he re-hand washed it for me. Amazing service very highly recommended.

We took two rugs to Royal Oriental Rugs to be cleaned and repaired. One was an oriental rug, approximately 30 years old, that needed cleaning and binding repair. They did a great job on it. The second was a 100 year old, five generation family heirloom bought by my grandparents. It needed major restoral as some sections were completely worn down to the backing. We were ready to give up on it as several other companies said they could not repair it. The owner, Magdi was very helpful. He took a personal interest and assured us he had the staff with the expertise to do the restoral job. WOW! We can’t believe how great it looks. The special ordered yarns matched the original colors perfectly and all the bare spots are gone. We met the artist (Linda) who did the restoral. She was wonderful and meticulous. We couldn’t be happier and are confident the rug will be enjoyed by the family for many more generations.
