I have used My Neighborhood Storage Center in Tampa for the last 6 months. I have found their staff to be extremely friendly, polite and helpful, and their rates are very competitive. I am also happy that my possessions are secure while I am travelling overseas! I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for safe, secure, and competitive storage.

I originally posted a 5 star review of this storage facility, but after the past month my opinion has changed. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. But after moving in about 6 months ago, my rent has DOUBLED! I understand that operational costs go up but to double the rent is a tad outrageous. The most recent issue that has come about, I found that the front doors broken and misaligned allowing anyone to access the facility.Fingers crossed that they repair the only access to the building quickly to protect everyones possessions.

I never thought I’d be saying this about something as ordinary as renting a storage unit but What a great experience! The person who checked me in, Jaime, took the time to show me the facility and helped me pick out a unit that best suits my needs. He told me a little bit about the company and I love that it’s a small Florida-based company. It makes me feel like my money is helping support my community and other small business owners like me. And the facility itself is so clean and professional feeling. Perfect to store and show my budding small furniture business products from. Thanks y’all! 💗

Wow talk about a bait and switch. We picked this place because of the affordability. Not only was it affordable, but there was a discount for the first few months. They just doubled our price. Not just raised the rent….doubled it. It’s a nice facility, and up until now, absolutely no problems. But doubling the rent is outrageous.

Everything about this storage is fantastic. Its 24 hour access, affordable, in a nice part of town, very clean, climate controlled, they have nice music playing throughout the building, the people are friendly, theres elevators, the doors are code locked, they have plenty of carts to pull your stuff from your car to your unit on. But the thing I love the most is the character of the people who run it and the others who rent units. I left my craftsman drill in the parking lot on accident, and they ran back the cameras, figured out it was me, and called to let me know it was there. Nobody took it with them. A brand new cordless craftsman drill. Im impressed, and recommend this facility to anyone in the Tampa area needing storage.

Well for one, its virtually right off the veterans (589) so its not hard to find. Thats always nice, plus where its located traffic is never an issue, which makes getting in and out of there in a box truck a lot more pleasant. There isnt any staff wondering the property so if you need someone youll have to go to the office, along with the restroom if nature happens to call. I didnt see any strategically placed restrooms. ( Not to say there isnt any they may just be unmarked) but overall a clean facility the air conditioner works great and they have storage sizes from closet size to quarter of a gymnasium. I would recommend it. 👍

This is the worst company I have had to deal with since renting numerous storage units over theyears. I have been a customer for a couple of years, have had some problems with them charging ourcredit cards without authorization from us, but we always paid. Recently I was in a bad car wreck andseverely hurt, and subsequently got behind a month in payment this month of April, this being oursecond month late. I contacted the office to make arrangements for payment and to get my belongings and a $79 a month unit is now $384 and goes up every week. the invoice i received the other day is already charging me for the month of may with fees and its still April, making it more and more difficult to get my belongings. I have been a customer for around 2 yrs now and always made a payment they have informed me i had until yesterday to pay the $384 or they are auctioning my unit off and it has only been 2 months today may first will make my 3rd month .but have repeatedly tried sine the beginning of April to get my stuff out and they keep raising the price on me. Best advice- STAY AWAY from this place! its great at the start, but just wait... youll find out! I am calling our lawyer to examine our legal options for response to this type of customer manipulation and torture.

A few days ago, I visited this facility for the first time, and left very impressed. I own a moving business, Total Package Moving, based out of Sarasota. We moved a PLATINUM customer of ours into this facility. There, I encountered two of the nicest self storage professionals I have ever met. Sarah and Kiki are storage rock stars. How do I know this??? I used to be a District Manager for a very large storage company. I was in the business for over a decade and a half, myself, and I recognize talent and great attitudes when I see them. These ladies were extremely polite, friendly, and took awesome care of our mutual customer. They deserve a 6th bonus star, for sure!!!

Extremely clean, and EXTREMELY convenient. I was able to get a unit completely virtually. The complex requires code entry through out the building so I felt very assured our things were safe. Great experience overall!

Management Sarah and staff are the nicest people you could meet and they are professionals they keep the place spic-and-span you could eat off the floors I wouldnt recommend it and the prices are just right youre close convenient to the Interstate 275 and like I said they are professionals and I recommend my neighborhood storage

David is the absolute best! His phenomenal customer service worked out some deals that help save his customers money. Everytime I go to this location its always clean and their security is amazing. Really gives me a peace of mind while storeing my stuff there. Ive seen other locations with codes and such but their HD cameras let me know there is no concern of only renters being there. Their prices are competetive but the peace of mind would be worth it to me to pay a little bit more.I also really appreciate that its very well lit. Had to pull out some cards late at night and I was afraid I wasnt going to be able to see inside my unit. Not to mention again felt really safe going in there by myself.

After searching for the perfect storage for my precious belongs I found it at My Neighborhood Storage in Tampa! Everything went smoothly to sign up and no hidden fees! Storage is inexpensive, secure and I received a free lock and free one day use of their moving truck! I highly recommend this facility! Thank you Kiki for your assistance and kindness during this difficult time.Edit: After 6 months storage fees went up $50 per month.

The beginning was great. The ladies who helped me with the initial set up was great. They do offer initial deals that are great. My biggest complaint is the minute my offer was done after 3 months, I had 1 month of my normal price then they immediately raised the price significantly higher. Ridiculous. They are just like every other storage unit. Such a disappointment.

This place is ridiculous, absolutely no customer service, they text people hours later from a 666 phone number, this cannot be a real company, I refuse to believe it. They also do not answer the phone when you call to ask questions before your big Move in date, they just expect people to go there with all of their large inventory without having a conversation with them beforehand. This company is not legitimate in my opinion, or they are terribly understaffed with weird customer service that texts people from 666 numbers

Not happy at all, bait and switch. This is a shady company, I held a reservation with them on their website to get a discount, they have no way to change the date of the reservation online so I just created new reservations when I was unable to make it on the scheduled date, ( no obligation, cancel at anytime reservations. ) They called me and confirmed how many units I wanted and then said they would cancel the others, THEY NEVER MENTIONED THAT I WOULD NOT GET THE DISCOUNT ON THEIR WEBSITE. I drove to them it took me 40 minutes in the hot sun and bad traffic, suddenly all of a sudden they quickly realized that I could not get their discounted rate from their website, they suddenly found out that I reserved a unit with them using non real info from another website weeks ago that already EXPIRED. BAIT AND SWITCH, THEY KNEW THE WHOLE TIME THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE PRICE, I TOLD THEM ON THE PHONE I HAD TO MOVE BY THIS FRIDAY, THEY ARE PLAYING GAMES WITH PEOPLES TIME DURING A NATIONAL PANDEMIC

This storage unit is amazing. Great low prices, all air conditioned units, very clean and modern. 24 hour access. The truck is clean and new, and the best thing about this place is FRANCIS. She’s so great, she is thoughtful and kind, and very very good at doing those small intuitive things we forget to ask for, or even mention. I’m so happy to have found her and I’ll be happy at this storage unit for the remainder of time I’m here. Highly recommend!10 stars out of 5!!!!

I was very pleased with my experience at Extra Storage Space. Within a couple of hours of me calling the New Customer phone number, I was already moving my belongings in. The location is in pristine condition. The storage unit itself was in pristine condition. The entire building is air-conditioned, clean, and secure. You have a personalized code to get in through the doors and in the elevator. Carts are available free to borrow at the facility, so you wont need to bring one or rent one. Chris is the one I worked with, and he is extremely professional, polite, and customer service oriented. I feel like I have made the right decision in selecting Extra Space Storage.

Great promotion to get your moved in, then be prepared for your rates to start going up and up and up until you paying double what your starting rate was.

Liked this place because open 24 hours but the monthly rate keeps going up no matter how long you have been there and prices are ridiculous.

Just moved to Tampa, trying to find a place to store my belongings til I find a house. I stopped at multiple storage companies but my husband found this storage place. This was the best place that I found, James was so helpful, he didn’t just give us anything, he took the time to measure what we needed. He did not try to over sell us something that we did not need.
