Extremely happy with service received. I had two broken zippers on my hard shell Away suitcases, and Away customer service quoted two months before completion could be expected. It does not matter what the leather product is that needs repair its a guarantee to leave happy and satisfied. This man knows his trade. They sell luggage 2. It doesnt matter. Have taken my husbands leather jacket and my daughters leather jacket for fixing. Wow. My husband took his tumi luggage came back looking new. Some designer purses he worked on. He never fails to amaze me.

I went to this place to repair a bag that have half fabric and half leather, the owner charge me $55.00 and I was told that the leather was going to keep the same color (light brown) just need to refresh the natural color. When I pick it up I was in shock, they painted it red-orange color, the owner was so mean and rude, he told me he was done with my bag and if I didn’t wanted it I can leave the bag there. I lost my bag because I can’t use it because looks horrible, I lost my money, He refused to reimburse me what I paid, and I had the worst experience with this people.

What a great experience!!! It’s so satisfying to see there are still honest people in this business.The staff member (I’m so sorry I can’t recall the tall gentleman’s name! That’s on me: memory issues) was very helpful, polite and friendly. He took time to inspect my two (Samsonite) suitcases. On the first one, he just adjusted the handle right then and there. Just like that! The second one, he couldn’t fix it; but without me even asking, he checked the warranty. So, he let me know it’d be sent to the manufacturer to have the problematic part exchanged; and then it’d be delivered to my house - at no cost. And I went there prepared to pay for both suitcases to be fixed.A day later, I got a message from Samsonite letting me know the suitcase couldn’t be fixed and they’d send me a new one. I got it within a week and it was an even newer model than mine.You and Samsonite rock! I’ll be your customer for life.

GREAT selection of luggage, backpacks, and purses right in Seminole Heights. Affordable prices too: backpacks and most roller/spinner bags are comparable to what youd pay at TJ Maxx. Repairs are quality and are done in a timely manner. Ive had 3 bags repaired here (1 broken zipper, 2 wheels) and bought a light Samsonite case that fits under your seat as well as an RFID blocking purse. Very happy with purchases and service here. Luggage Service is a gem. Took a piece of luggage in today that had two broken wheels they replaced each wheel at a reasonable cost within 20 minutes of my arrival. While I waited I found great deals on two unique pieces that I needed. A messenger bag and a Briggs & Riley backpack. Was going to shop online but the prices were amazingly low. Highly recommend!

Wheel fell off one of my ebags luggage. Stopped by see if they could repair or was just going to buy a replacement. They had me rolling again in 20 minutes. I wrote down the online pricing because I like to see how much I was saving by buying online, but loh and behold, they beat those prices. My suitcase wheel was all torn up and worn away, and they replaced it in 5 minutes! I am no longer struggling to drag my suitcase around — it smoothly rolls along like it’s supposed to. They also replaced a zipper attachment for me. My total was $27.50, which I don’t think is bad. Much cheaper than replacing my whole suitcase, plus one less suitcase in a landfill. Location was very easy to find, and they have parking right up front. Thanks, guys!

TOP-NOTCH EXPERIENCE! I had a broken handle on my Samsonite under warranty and this is a location for Samsonite warranty repairs. They looked at my bag right away and it was fixed like new in 15 minutes! I was blown away with how quick and easy my experience was, and no charge at all! Delta broke our bag by breaking loose a handle held on by three rivets, but they paid my online claim in two days with more than enough for the repair as it turns out. I brought the bag here after a Google search and within 10 minutes and for only $15 I left with my bag repaired better than new! Boom!!! Nice people too and I was impressed that they are third generation and in business for 100 years.

I take all my luggage for warranty or Service Repairs to this place. Very friendly and helpful staff and sometimes they even fix it right on the spot. If the repair is more extensive, I leave my bag and they figure out what needs to be done and will ship it back to my home when its complete. The owner and staff do a great job in letting you know what they can do and with great customer service. I took in a Brics 22 carry on bag that needed a zipper and that had to be ordered from Italy. They took care of everything and shipped it back to me all under warranty. I took in a Ricardo of Hollywood piece of luggage that ended up being not repairable. Luggage Services contacted the company and Ricardo of Hollywood sent me a new bag. Another occasion I took in my Samsonite boarding bag and the lady sprayed the handle so it would work properly again, fixing it on the spot and I took it with me after 5 minutes. They also have a huge selection of name brand luggage from starter level to very high-end stuff and will match any price from other retailers or even online. Exceptional service and quality.

This place is excellent!! I am an international flight attendant and my luggage is a very important part of my uniform. For years I have had all my luggage repairs done here because I know they are going to fix it to last. Their service is the best and they are so pleasant to deal with. They also have an excellent assortment of travel bags and travel equipment.

This is the best service Ive had from a random company in a long time. I shipped my suitcase to them by priority mail prepaid for $11 on a Thursday. My suitcase was back to me by the following Tuesday in perfect condition with brand new wheels better than the originals, and at no cost under warranty. Julie was so helpful on the phone and took excellent care of me. Id happily send my luggage to Luggage Service in Tampa for out of warranty repair, too. They know what they are doing and get the job done.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I discovered Monday the zip slider on my suitcase broke off completely on my way back from a trip. I Googled around for options and found Luggage Service in Tampa and decided to try them out. I figured even paying for the repair out of pocket was going to be cheaper than buying a new suitcase. Not only were they able to replace the zip slider on the spot, they also found my suitcase was still under warranty, meaning no charge for me. The woman who helped me was very helpful and courteous. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

For easy repairs, if they have the material on site they will take care of the issue immediately sparing you a return trip. When I have bigger repairs they are super efficient and timely in getting my bags fixed and it never takes more than 7 business days. I have bought a bag from them as well and they are very knowledgeable about the various lines to help me compare the value.

What a wonderful shop, and wonderful staff, I brought in a suitcase to be repaired, the repairs were extensive and they informed me that they would have to send it to the manufacturer, lo and behold it cost me less to have them ship it to the manufacturer then if I had shipped it myself and they packaged it all up bonus. My husband and I spent a bit of time looking around the shop they have an extensive line of luggage and very very reasonable prices. If youre looking for good luggage and Bargains this is definitely the place to shop.

I came down to Tampa from Atlanta to go to a concert. Before I came down, I purchased an outfit with a broken zipper. I went to Luggage Service and they fixed my zipper in less than 10 minutes for $5! I never write reviews but I was happy with the service they provided and how quick they were.

When the airlines damage your luggage and are liable for the repair, this is where they send your damaged luggage to be repaired. Ive had several suitcase repaired here and they do a fantastic job. They also have a good selection of worry travel luggage new and used. A great way to breath new life into your luggage before thinking about retiring it.

Be careful with this place - the husband and wife that own the place need a good lesson in customer service. I’ve witnessed first hand both of them yelling and cussing at every employee they have.Extremely disfunctionaly and mediocre work - the back of house employees are great. The work could be better if they didn’t have such a heavy work load.If you take a bag/item in for repair be prepared to be told your opinion is incorrect - even when most likely it won’t be.. there’s many other amazing options for local bag/shoe/luggage repair. Brandon shoe repair and alteration is another location I use and I don’t leave feeling like I’ve been emotionally abused.

Completed warranty repairs on both of my Victorinox NXT bags. Staff were very knowledgeable, took time to explain features of different bags and offered honest, candid opinions on brands. I would not hesitate to buy luggage here; prices were on par with those online and the best of the best brands are never deep discounted anyway. Tip: visit during the week if you can.

Brought luggage for a frame repair..I was told it would be done in two weeks, after almost 4 weeks I called in for a status, they said it wasnt even started..They had a delay in parts..that it would be done the following Friday, I was never notified by them regarding this delay, I said that was ok..If I can get it Friday. Well Friday came and my luggage still wasnt repaired..That it would be done the end of the following week, I informed them when I gave it to them for repairs I had a trip planned at the end of April and I told them this when I originally dropped it off. The lady then said it would be done by next Tuesday..I told them I was planning on packing this weekend, the owner came on the phone and actually said.. you cant pack for your trip two nights in advance? .Now..I know I can..But thats not his place to ask..I expected my luggage repair to be completed almost 4 weeks prior..And its an international flight..So I would like to pack with some time. He did offer a loaner, but honestly I just wanted my luggage back..I told him Ill get it Tuesday when it was done.They had my luggage done on Tuesday..But not all the repair was done.. Originally I was told the bottom frame was bad and the top frame was weak and best to replace both..Since it would be less to do both now rather than one and then come back later to do the other, I agreed. But when I picked it up they said only the bottom needed to be replaced and the top was fine, and they were refunding me $35,..That they replaced my wheels for $10 (normally its 40 to replace both wheels) this was a courtesy price for being late...Although I appreciate the jester, I already purchased wheels for the bag to replace..I did not need them..So I had them removed, the owner seemed annoyed that I did not accept his offer..Well again..He did not call or ask, if he called and said Ill charge you $10 to replace both wheels I would have informed him that it was not necessary.Now the repair..Im not to impressed..I checked the inside..He said he was going to place aluminum, its plastic..He did not place all the anchor rivets in place..and there are 2 rivets more than before and one looks to be almost coming off..On the outside bottom their is a large bulge popping down, Im not sure how well this repair is going to hold up..It looks very rushed..And I believe that he didnt do the top because it was ok..I think he simply didnt have the time.Ill see how this holds up on my trip, and update

Was called to approve work/bill - was told my repair would be done Tuesday or Wednesday - I drove up on FRIDAY (50 minute drive)... they said my luggage was on the bench and it would be ready in 15 minutes.... then after 15 minutes, they just had to put in two more rivets, then 10 minutes later... only one more rivet to go - long story short - it took an hour for them to complete the work. After I spend a half hour waiting for repair - I asked if they would just ship it - the answer was - only if I paid for shipping.VERY VERY disappointed.In fairness they did offer to give me a $5 luggage tag for my trouble (I declined)
