Hive did a great job transforming one of our bedrooms into a professional home theater with superb sound quality. We love it and highly recommend them.

I was initially excited with the sales person. Left a review and then had a very different experience. They require prepayment for jobs and the the techs would show up without the right parts. It took 3 months to get a small job done and they still owe me money for work not completed. There are other providers for Control4 and I would suggest you consider other options. Oh yeah and if you have a question about charges…good luck.

Hive has been assisting us with an upgrade in our new home. From start to finish they have been exceptional. They are proactive in their communication, and they have been super helpful and flexible as we prepare to move. Mike has been leading our field team and is wonderful - he cleaned up a lot of the old wires/mess, and asks a lot of questions to make sure you’re happy with placement of items, etc. Jordan in the office has been super wonderful. Frequent check-ins to update you in details or coordinate tasks. They have accommodated our needs and adjusted their plan along the way. I cannot say enough about the service and quality of the people and products. Highly recommend.

Trevor Buckner did a phenomenal job. He’s very available, responsive, and most impressively, supremely knowledgeable when it comes to electronics, and home automation. This was a very complex set up, and he had no trouble conceptualizing it, and then putting it in motion. Most impressively, Trevor came in early, and for the 2 weeks of the install, never left before 8 PM, making sure all details were attended to. It’s been a pleasure working with HIVE, and it’s been a pleasure having Trevor assigned to the job.We have had other installer in the past in our other homes, and no one that we’ve worked with compares with Trevor, Jeff, and hive.If you’re considering having home automation, audio visual, security, or lighting done in your house, I would strongly consider only looking at HIVE.

Even if there are any hiccups along the way, they have been very responsive and helpful in fixing any issue that may come up. I called to look into obtaining services and and I was lucky enough to get Julisa as my representative and she was sooooooooooo informative and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I originally called just for home security but she informed of many of the services provided by your company from home security to the light control to the C4 system and explained in great detail the benefits to have such a system. I’m will definitely be calling back to start the this service in the near future.

We used HIVE to install our Control 4 system 8 years ago, and recently had a major lightning strike at our home that damaged the system. HIVE came out, diagnosed what happened, worked with my insurance company, and then helped to restore the system to even better than before. Technician Roberto was awesome, knowledgeable and really great in his communication, and ability to set the system up as we wished. Recommend this company for the set up of your smart home.

Everyone Ive met at Hive was awesome and easy to work with. I really enjoyed working with Markie the most, shes always on top of everything. It didnt matter if it was at night or on a weekend she was always responsive. Its very hard to find that kind of service in the trades. That made the whole project go as smoothly as possible.

Completely wasted our time. Owner showed up for 1 to 2 hours three weeks ago. Never got back to us with a quote.

Trevor came back to finish off the project and was very helpful in explaining the entire set up. My wife, who at times could be called a cougar, thought he was quite handsome.

We found hive after being dissatisfied with our other provider. We were very happy that Scott was assigned our project!! We have a Control4 system and Scott was great at navigating the system and fixing it so that everything worked. He text me after and even a month later to make sure everything was still working! He was very polite and got our system working great! Thank you Scott! My best advice is if you get a technician with Hive that you like try to stick with the same person.

I schedule an appointment for Saturday. The technician called earlier and said that he was going to be late .Waited for him 10 hours, he didnot show up. I called him twice, left him a voice mail. He didnot even return our calls. Very disappointed. On Monday i called their office, they said they were going to call us back, again no response. I dont recommend them.Update: Christine called and took care the issue. I am revising my review to 5 star since they made the right thing and fixed the issue right away. Thanks

Hive The one stop company for all your home theater needs for life.After many calls I found hive. Receptionist very pleasant, scheduled visit next day. Jeff and Christian on time, did not take long to determine what was needed to get the theater back up and running. Jeff and Christian provided service that many companies no longer take the time to offer, great service. While Christian was making final system test, Jeff was up on the ladder reinstalling one of the ceiling speakers I had removed thinking was causing the problem. Christian ordered the parts and off they went. In a short amount of days here comes Thomas, very pleasant and professional. He not only installed, tested and showed me how to operate the system he answered all my many questions. He completed a few more things for us. He organized and removed all 100 old wires coming out of the wall and equipment no longer needed. He reconnected one of the recliners I thought had stopped working. You now have a customer for life. Grateful for the service that each level of your company provided. Other companies can learn from the service you provide your customer.

We have a very old house with lots of lath and plaster and brick throughout. At first we had some complications with Hive. There were some items that needed to be fixed in the house after their work. They made everything whole. The technicians were very professional when working with us. They were responsive to our timeframes and needs. The product they deliver is excellent! I would use them again for future work.
