Stopped for lunch and couldnt get to counter because of inventory blocking aisle. I also have a trained(service dog) animal and as soon as I came thru door I was told that she couldnt be there even though she had all her gear on including her ID. Because I was unable to get to the hot food i gave them 2 stars.

One of the few supermarkets to carry a lot of Dominican products and so far the only store that carries Dominican mayonnaise from Baldom. The three stars is because looking through the aisles and checking the products, I found a lot that were out of date as early as June, that is completely unacceptable, I even accidentally bought a jar of mayonnaise that is expired since July, 17th, they need to look into that. Now the cashier Gisselle was awesome, I called to ask about the availability of some things and she was able to give me the information and when I went there she helped me check out and even remember that I had called before, very appreciative of her help. I wish they got that expiration date issue fixed, because its great to find some of the best Dominican products without having to order online and having a local store helps.

Terrible customer service from the elderly woman taking serving the hot food! If you’re not Spanish don’t expect to be treated like a customer. You’ll be treated like your an annoying pain who stop coming. Pretty sure most of the comments on customer service refers to her. Bad business to see an employee treat people from her own country better than other customers. Would not spend my money somewhere I’am not wanted because we don’t speak the same language!

The food has really gone down in the last year. Cuban sandwich had very little meat, nothing like they used to be a year ago. The staff was not helpful when asked a question. I wont be going back.

The food was pretty good. The ladies are very nice. When shopping they usually have what I need in stock. So it makes me happy. Ladies if you use Lemisol theyre always in stock and they have different sizes.

This place serves amazing food, mostly meat. I ordered the whole-fish and yuca. The staff is mostly people from the Dominican Republic (DR), so I assume this food is DR food.I paid 10.50 for a whole fish and a lot of yuca. See my image. They tolerated me asking a thousand questions.I highly recommend this place because the food is really good and also unique.

All the vitamins from the foods are still smothered on the food from the cooking process. The avocado was fresh and seasoned well.They were able to accommodate my meal by putting only avocados in a separate dish and removing the tomatoes. I didnt want rice, so they filled up my styrofoam container with meats and cooked veggies. Theyre prices were very reasonable, as they weigh your food. So you can put whatever you want inside the dish and still eat cheap.There location had some tables that we were able to eat at, and they were all maintained for cleanliness. The food was at appropriate temperature reaching a lowest temp of 138 degrees F for the hot foods and the cold foods reached a highest temp of 37 degrees F.When we first arrived there was a small line, as it was lunch time. The line moved very quickly. After they weighed the food and wrote the price on the the container, you are encouraged to go the regular grocery checkout line to check out. The process is very quick and the cashiers move fast.I can honestly say, that this was a very pleasant experience and if they were closer to my home or had more locations, I would eat here more often. I was looking at the reviews and was shocked to see 5 stars. This was one of the worst spots I have eaten in. I got yellow rice beef with onions and green peppers and plantains. Food was horrible rice was hard almost raw. The beef had watery flavor to it. The plantains where smooshed almost glued together. The lady that took my order greeted me with DIME!!! Horrible attitude I think that made food taste worse. Dirty place all tables to dine in where filthy. Over priced, for the quality of food.

I’ve been a regular here and have been going for small Cuban sandwiches, it’s sad that depending on the server the fees vary, especially for something I always get there and I know the difference because it’s very clear on the menu. I will not return because it’s awful how they charge different days for the same sandwich. The place has good food but, the servers are not to favorable per say. I guess it’s time to switch and seek other Spanish restaurants.

Best place for some good ox tail, come from Tarpon springs for it. Call ahead of time to see if they have it cause it goes quick. But food is delicious.

I come here often and I am very polite to staff every time. I ordered some chicken from 1 lady and she starts talking to the other worker in Spanish laughing after I order. I dont know alot of Spanish but I felt like I was being joked on. Im a Black man so I guess she didnt think I knew any at all. I probably wont be returning here and Id bet they wouldnt care. Heres some critic too. When you clean the dishes rinse all of the soap out so the rice doesnt have that soap after taste. Also dont joke on customers while theyre standing in front of you at least wait til they leave.

My friend turn me on to the supermarket and the food is delicious I just wish they had more people that spoke English however like I said the food is delicious for $7 I get oxtails rice and plantain and the portion size are very huge..
