To me it looks like they are running low on stock.They hold tournaments here 4 games. You can bring your card games in or your table top games and play here anytime as well.

First time attending a competition. While I didnt have much experience in the game, everyone was very friendly and willing to help. Great atmosphere.

I had an issue at Sunshine Games and the owner quickly replied and apolgized and made things right. Great store with reasonably priced Pokemon Merch.

Exquisite customer service, love going here. Very helpful, helped me get started in vanguard which I then lost all my money, wife, and children to. Totally worth it, 5 stars.

This place has the worst hours of operation. They are always closed and don’t open till late in the day. The prices are always very high here. There are many other card shops in the area with better quality products and services. Always so disappointed coming here…

After hearing about this place I was more then excited to see it open and they didnt disapoint....could have had more fluffals but meh at this time a card shop is a card shop

Drive out here for them to be only curbside, and they sell Pokémon TGC for 2x retail. Bit of a bummer. Seemed like a cool place if it was open, and if they actually sold at retail value.

My daughter and I just moved to the area from out of state, we popped in a couple weeks ago, as we have just gotten into playing MTG. We were met right away with the staff/owner, in a very polite way they told us they were closed and were only there to clean and setup up for the next day. Which, with all that’s going on in the world I completely understood. However, they struck up conversation with us and found out we were new to magic, they answered all questions and even let us shop around a bit. In the end we walked out with some new packs and some new sleeves. They have definitely gained two new customers! Highly recommend stopping in if you haven’t yet.

Drove a long distance and turns out they only have curbside, very disappointing. Will not waste another trip here

Great place to play Pokémon tcg. Our first tournament here Friendly staff and the event was well organized.

Went in to check out the store and look at the products. Asked about buying a box of Ikoria and about the promos that go with it and was given a rude response and told that the promos that wizards of the coast specifically sent to stores for any box purchase were only for their very expensive mystery booster box that they were asking over market for. Even after I showed the clerk the information that states that the promos were for any box purchase and after their own coworkers told them the exact same thing I was telling them that clerk still refused to sell the product with the promos that go with it. They were unnecessarily rude about how they went about the interaction with a first time customer. I won’t be back.

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience at my first Pokemon tournament here! The staff is super helpful, the people I played against were super friendly and great players, and everything is very fairly priced! It was five dollars to enter the tournament, but boy howdy did that five dollars go far. I lost each battle, but I did so with a smile. I got a booster pack and many many league promo cards (I think thats what theyre called) for entering, and other players gave me cards that they think would help me with decks in the future— which was incredibly surprising. I came home so happy I was yelling without realizing it. I also bought a pack of sleeves, some wonderful purple dice, and some cards for a future build that were all fairly and understandably priced. Even though I was much younger than the participants (while still being in the masters division), I never once felt uncomfortable around them. Each player I battled was extremely friendly, and offered me advice for the future. They offered a challenge without being cocky or rude. The only anxiety I felt was when I arrived, because I didnt know what to expect. Once I sat down, shuffled, and played a few turns, I wasnt shaking anymore, I was smiling, and making (awkward, sorry haha) conversation with my opponent. We talked about how long weve been playing casual and competitive, how long the drive was (not very long :) ), and other things like Pokemon types, future builds, and buying cards. Im very much going back. It was the highlight of my month.

A toxic community

Excellent store ran by some great guys! I am big into the Pokemon Trading Card Game and really enjoy the community there. They hold tournaments for all of the other large card games, and even some that Im sure I havent seen. They are very good about listening to their players and will do whatever they can to accommodate.

Tournaments are great.Players in the Tampa area are generally friendly and fun to be around.The atmosphere is nice, but you do have to speak up and say hello, introduce yourself, it is only polite.For the most part people will leave you alone, but they will ask you if you need any help.If you want to meet new people and find other players for your specific card game.It is definately the place to go.Support your local game store.The selection is better than most, but they sell cards quite often so you have to get what your looking for quickly.

Nice, clean, well air conditioned shop. Lots of table space if youre going in to play. I was selling my Pokemon collection. The guy that helped me was quick and thorough, and they gave me a great price for the lot. In and out in under 10 minutes, and the staff was very friendly.

The owner is a really nice and friendly guy. The people who work here are super nice and helpful too. Everyone Ive talked to knows their stuff and they dont try to bs you or jack up prices. Definitely made a regular out of me and I cant wait to go back again!

I went in to sell our Pokemon cards. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about my cards. He was fair and honest about the value of my collection. He took the time to look over every card and explained what to look for in the future with our other cards.

I drove from Orlando to a different card store to sell a massive collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I only showed them some rares and got a terrible offer. So before I went back homeless and empty handed I gave Sunshine Games a call. They answered all my questions effectively to there knowledge and even told me to just bring in the whole lot. I was greeted immediately and they recognized me as the caller. We worked together to quickly get everything sorted out and I also saw they have a great selection of various card games including Final Fantasy which I have yet to see in a store. All in all it was easy to find great customer service and a various stock for you to check out with multiple tables to hang out and play your games. It was a great experience for me after a long ride and trashy service at a different store. If Im ever back in Tampa imma drop in and say hi and u should too.😀😀😀😀😀

Probably the best TCG-related shop I have ever been to, and plan to continue going to for the foreseeable future. Their trade-in rates are the best in the business, their stock of singles & sealed product is admirable, and if they are ever out of a product youre interested in... let them know and theyll usually be able to acquire it! Owner/staff are personable, & though they can joke right alongside the customers, they are always respectful. This place is the real deal - come see for yourself!

This store is far from perfect, but that kind of comes with the territory of a new store competing with well established stores. Ive never seen a store owner care so much and go out of their way for its customers. Makes it feel less of a store and more of a place to hang out .

Went there today to sell a portion of my collection, those guys were great. Very upfront, very professional without being too clinical, just a great experience. I will definately be going back, i just wish i lived closer so i could actually partake in the events.

Great place to battle some card games of your choosing (Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Super, Final Fantasy). A store run by people who actually have played card games and know what the people want. Also, best bathroom of any game store. I know that sounds weird, but when you’ve been to as many game stores as I have you start to notice these things. I drive out of my way fora dose of sunshine!

I stopped in with my boyfriend to sell some MTG cards that he found in the garage. He found the proprietor to be honest and transparent. There are tables at which to play.

It is a great place to buy cards. You can play the game as well. There are a lot of tables to play. You have places you can sit and wait as well.

It is very nice to see a store that does not just care about the sale comparative to alot of other stores around the bay area. The staff was very welcoming and had a great time when I visited. The store was soposed to close at 10 pm but stayed open so we could finish our game that wasnt even sanctioned or even had a paid entry for. If I could give 10 stars for hospitality and accommodation this is the only store in the Bay area that would get it.

The owners are friendly and fair. We buy a lot of pokemon cards here, and they never try to over price them or take advantage of us. Their tournaments are well run and everyone always seems to be having a great time.

Sunshine Games is a great store for people to gather at and enjoy card games to play. The only bad apple of the shop is their employee Sean. He lacks customer service skills and can suck the fun out of someone’s experience there. If he learned to be like the other employees then the shop would be great across the board.

Best card shop around tbh. Staff is great with card game knowledge, from yugioh to card fight to magic. Tournaments are always happening with great competition. Welcoming to all skill levels and willing to help you out in every eay possible.

Great staff, Amazing prices, solid inventory in Magic, DBZ and Pokemon. Has an old school LGS feel that you dont find in this area anymore. Well lit, clean bathroom and close to the highway. Safe place for young kids and women to play too, no creepers. They are now my go to LGS and I will recommend to everyone I know in the area!

I enjoy coming here weekly to assist with their Saturday Pokémon Trainers Academy, where new trainers have the opportunity to learn how to become more competitive with the TCG and with VGC as well. I really have to appreciate Chris and his staff for being supportive with all TCGs and trying their best to make the environment friendly for all newcomers. Plus, this is one of the few shops in Tampa that wants to support competitiveness with Pokémon VCG and not just the TCG as well!
