If you spend enough time here, you’ll find some pretty good things. The lines can be long and there’s staff just standing behind the counter sometimes not helping. Good prices and lots of new opened items.
There was an extremely long line at the cashier. When it was finally my turn they told me that the item I was going to purchase was not the price on the price tag and out of nowhere they changed it. There where only one price tag on the item and after waiting for a long time I wasnt able to purchase it because they doble the price. Not good. I dont think Im going to return back there.
As prior military (veteran), I’ve traveled all over the United States and have been to Goodwills in all of those states. What do they all have in common? They offer veterans discounts, as well as senior discounts…except this Goodwill. It’s obvious that the manager who runs this store is ignorant and knows nothing about management, or how to run a Goodwill store. *SMDH*
Have to search, but can find some good finds. However they price most stuff like its a real store selling new items that werent donated. I get that you want to pay employees and so call help people, but you also have some free labor and the stuff was given to you for free, so learn to take that into account. I see why so much is left untouched. Pricing is just to fatten the Top dogs pockets. Better off at a mom and pop thrift store. Feel bad for people who really need to shop there, to save money, because they really arent. How do you sell dollar tree items for more than the actual store??? Come on, rethink your pricing. Price the items to move, not to keep inventory in the store. Be a real help to those in need.
First time at this GW location today. It was big and seemed pretty clean.Lots and lots of clothes. Toy shelves were smaller than at other GWs.There was lots of staff there at the registers to keep the lines moving but it still took me a good 10 minutes to check out because it was packed. The cashier who attended to me was very polite.Id go back.
Im gonna pop some tags only got $20 in my pocket, I I Im hunting, lookin for a come up!Regularly find $50 clothes for 3-7 dollars. Walked out today with 4 outfits $33!!!!!!!!!!! Thats winning. Just so know.
Yust to going to see, what they have, and relax chopping around
Theyve developed their own retail section, for holidays, that I know of. Fairly well organized. Not like the old Good Will stores where you could come across great finds at bargain prices. You get better prices at the Dollar Tree across the street. I was not happy when asked if they could round off the amount of my purchase for a donation. She rounded it up for my change and added an extra dollar. Ill give my future donations to the Spring (for battered women).
I think they put away whatever color tag is going to be on sale for 50% the next day the night before. Ive been there in the eve and there is a mix of tag colors on items (green, blue, orange etc). Come back the next morning and they have orange tag merch on sale that day. No orange tags anywhere. I wonder if they realize people give them this stuff for free?
BEWARE! They won’t take any furniture ! I had already unloaded my truck with some dressers and dining table and they came out yelling they don’t take furniture! To be a donation place they are picky on what they accept! Save your trip !!!
Goodwill has always been my least favorite thrift store regardless of the state. Their merchandise is overpriced. You might as well go to Walmart
This is a very nice store, with even new items. I had fun walking the place and picking out even new items. Saw some things I may be back for too.
Great staff, very clean and organized i was able to find what I needed plus more.. Im definitely coming back to this goodwill very soon..
Very dusty, I could only stay inside for about 5 minutes before I was all congested and my nose started to run. I was fine after I left the store to fresh air.
Normally I dont find a lot but found some good deals on clothing. Pretty clean store.
Ok. I was looking for some particle items. They did not have them
Love shopping here the treasure you can find is awesome. I can never find pants or short in my size but this place I walked out with couple pairs & some still had original tags on them (never been worn). I will be going back! Thank you good will!
Love this goodwill! They have a huge selection of clothes, toys, and household goods - used and new! They also have weekly 50% sales. Staff is always friendly. They now have a job opportunity center in the back.
Clean store, lots of clothing as usual and plenty of other random stuff. The book section was small though, otherwise its a good store.
The store was huge with a lot of selection. The store even had some new items that were very good deals! If you are near this area stop by and check out this store. I have honestly never seen such selection from a Goodwill store before.
If you know how to look well around the store, you can find expensive brand clothes at a reasonable price for a fraction at their cost at an established retailer (wherever these clothing may be sold). Recommended because you can truly find gems among the rough!
Faulty luggage bag(s) with broken wheels belonging in the dump instead of on the floor for sale.
Nice shop!
It was clean well put together, but this is not your normal goodwill store. So if your used to the treasure chest at goodwill it wont be found here, one side is goodwill merchandise another is donated items.
Veary friendly place could improve on customer service
Was clean and people were friendly but the sizes were all mixed together so we couldnt see where to look for anything.
Friendly staff members and great store, but not all employees speak English, so be prepared to speak a little Spanish.
Organized, a lot to offer, quick check out
Can’t believe you guys are still open when we have a stay at home order in effect and only essential shopping places and you do not sell food so I don’t know what’s so essential or life-threatening that people need to go to the Goodwill! I hope your practicing 6 feet apart and your cash out line! Everybody needs to stay the hell home!! I’ve been in your store a lot lately and some of the stuff you have marked for two dollars has came from the dollar tree and whoever is pricing items needs to get a clue! That’s horrible!!
Great selection and staff
The clothing department, especially childrens, is less than desireable. You can find a few items if you really dig, but its hit or miss. Its a very large store and many retail items there are not such a bargain. I suggest Hospice thrift stores or the like. Its still a good place to stop and look. Social distancing is in place and they have disinfectant available for baskets.
This store has so many people begging for money. Today someone approached me asking for money before I could step out my vehicle. It made my young daughter and I feel very uncomfortable. Once we got in the store we were followed around by a man who wasn’t shopping. I don’t feel safe here at all. I will never be back.
This was my 1st time at this location. I was disappointed. Maybe it was the days I visited but there appeared to be a lot of new low quality merchandise throughout the store (hard goods, cleaners),...think Dollar Store with higher prices. The clothing area was the exception but prices were much higher than I recall. If the item had any kind of original tag the price was really marked up. Many of the original tag items could be purchased at a Ross or TJ Maxx for similar prices. I also looked up comparable used clothing items online (EBay etc) and found I could buy many online for a comparable price with the advantage being I can return my item if not satisfied for a refund vs store credit.I go to Goodwill retail stores to enjoy a thrifting experience and I did not feel I got that here. This particular store also seems to have a large number of panhandlers outside of its store. Times are tough and I feel for these people and often help them however, the number of them made me feel uncomfortable.I also visited the their online store I found that I preferred the look and feel of other online sellers (EBay etc). I appreciate the work that Goodwill does but I will not return to this store.
Very organized and lots and lots of items
Wonderful store! Excellent staff! The ladies there are amazing! They just remodeled!♥️
Its obvious that English isnt the first language of most of this bunch, however if you ask them do you have.. they can say no. :-) A manager/team leader did seem to more knowledge of English. She tried to lead me by the arm to find things, but had no luck. This place should shut down.. for Covid, too.In response to the owner: yes it was your Goodwill. I had to edit the review because it was previously misplaced with the Brandon Goodwill. I was at your Goodwill prior to the breakout shutdowns.
Very clean. Nice things. Easy access to everything. Recommend this store.
Very clean & neat.Lots of people working to keep it that way!Nicely marked for social distancing which I appreciated; now if customers could just follow arrows!!!!
Very unorganized and slow customer service. The line was very long and there was no sense of urgency.
I can’t believe you guys don’t accept and give out reward points. Most Orlando and surrounding areas accept reward points. Also, reselling new Dollar Tree merchandise for the price and a half is not cool. In general, prices are also way higher than from where I come from. Are you sure it’s for non-profit? And intended for people in need- I wonder? :-( 😡
Goodwill services at 4102 West Hillsborough avenue were very good to me from the minute I walked through the front doors. They are very cooperative they help you find the items that I needed in the areas of the store that I needed because it has been my first time to their store and they assisted me at the counter during my check out with my items and it was a very nice experience and I think its a great store! also, I was very happy with the items I bought there. Thanks, Goodwill so much. Monte
Its a one of the big stores is always packed with good and new items. I would give it a good 5 stars on that but the employees cant keep up with the cleaness and organization. I think because of the people(customers), grab stuff and when they are not gonna buy it they just leave it anywhere.. but other than that I am a frequent Goodwill shopper and I visit this location a good maybe 3 times a month..
Really nice store, lots of variety.
Excellent option
My Husband dropped off some clothing and also dropped off some things of mine by mistake.i was there in 20 min.the items never made it into the store.i looked through all the bins in the back all the racks..i went back three days in a row not one item out of two 39 gallon tall bags made it inside.Designer jackets, jeans, very unique pieces.i filled out paperwork and was told that someone would reach out from corporate after viewing the video.never heard back from anyone. The short Hispanic rude male manager treated me horribly.Dont take anything nice to this store it will never make it inside. Also they are not a nonprofit.
Just cant shop by wading through disorganised boxes and piles. Some items were of great value for dollar spent. Some lightly used, some new. All cashiers were incredibly slow, and the patrons do not make the process any easier. Know what you are getting into, and maybe you can find a deal here. Absolute gems found in the piles of trash, sometimes.
Cool
AVOID!This is NOT a real Goodwill, or even a thrift store: it is filled with Chinese knockoff garbage, and the few things that were actually donated have been picked through and the good stuff put up on their website.Don’t donate or shop here anymore. There are plenty of worthwhile thrift stores in the area to donate to.
I got a really cute top for dirt cheap, and I dont think anyone even wore it! It still had the tag on.Its always fun to check out whats available. (:
I got a rare Funko Pop half off there, it was a good place overall
Im not a thrift store person so I have no idea how they normally are. The store wasnt to bad, relatively clean and had a reasonable selection. The people working there were friendly well the ones I was able to communicate with. The people shopping were rude as could be though.
I had a great experience as always. The staff is always courteous and very helpful and kind. I recommend my family and friends there all the time.
This store is pretty cluttered and not super clean. The staff are relatively friendly. Prices are decent for a Goodwill. Selection is not amazing.
The associates were very slow and awkward
THIS MY STORE! Ive been a loyal customer since 2008! I love you guys. I get almost all my best outfits from there for an affordable price
I had this 90s party to attend but I was running out of time to even think about ordering my attire online. I came to this goodwill and I was able to find something decent. They really have a nice collection of clothes and accessories youd be surprised.
Over priced garbage 🗑️ how you going over charge donate dollar tree item ugh I couldnt believe my eyes
Great place for a better deal on household items. Clothes are very well worth it if you need to look good for very little 💰. Halloween costumes and stuff galore!
An excellent store with good clothing, apparels and even kitchenware! The service is very professional. Very clean place, with good parking and very respectful employees. Highly recommended.
I only go thrifting to find old school dresses. I have found some unique pieces from here. The store has a clean appearance but the dressing rooms and floors can get rather dusty. Large variety of items including seasonal items and glassware.
The clothing & shoes were very worn & dirty at this location. Im looking for OLD HOLLYWOOD costume for a charity event. Struck out. The cashier was great! I purchased a pair of mens shoes. Had no idea the orange tickets were 50% off! She told me & honored the discount. Now thats service!
Its Goodwill :) Not to crowded here.
Pros: Bigger inventory to choose from. Cleaner than other Goodwill stores. Lots of parking.Cons: Gets crowded during peak hours. Cashiers can be more professional and quicker. Mgmt needs to monitor volume at checkout.Overall I still would visit this branch just not during peak hours.
Worst goodwill Ive ever been to.Disorganized mess, does not update the color of the day daily, once i found actual feces smeared on the walls of the fitting room.Really low bar here. I usually love goodwill, but this place is seriously the absolute worst.
I love this clean and organized store full of both new and used items... super friendly staff and great deals on cool things
With all the bad reviews I almost did not go there. But I am very glad I did. The quality and prices I found were awesome. Guess it depends where your from. And the service was sweet and nice. Customers had her believing her store was not great. Where I come from they want a dollar for a wore out tank top. You people have it great here! Anyone from a small town, I highly recommend this place!
Theres always something cool to buy
The store is very organized and clean.
Slowest cashiers ever! And prices have definitely gone up. Makes sense though now that I know its a for profit company. Dont donate your stuff to a for profit company. Donate to a shelter or some other non profit.
Stuff is too over priced I seen the prices go up and up not really helping anyone like this. All because some items are nike or another brand doesnt mean you sell them more . you can get the same or better item and brand new from Ross stores. You are just helping yourselves not anyone else, I know you need a buffet for employees payroll but you guys have gotten out of hand.
This stores is more expensive than Walmart. Why who someone pay more for used clothes/items when brand new price is the same or cheaper? I have lived across the country, and I have been to various goodwill stores. This one is the expensive/greediest so far. I can afford everything brand new, but still I go to stores like Goodwill considering it might help the society. But how can you price so high for a used items and the items are sourced as donation?I highly doubt this store follows 501(c) (3) nonprofit standard.( we all have smartphones these days, check the brand new price online before buying anything from this store )
Not a bad place to pick up some gifts for others but otherwise overpriced for a thrift store. Plus Im just not a fan of how Goodwill is actually a FOR PROFIT corporation that pays its executives a ton of money and very little goes back to charitable work and some of that is in the form of hiring workers with disabilities who they pay less than minimum wage.
Great service, always clean dressing rooms. Everything is very well organized. Only reason I cant give a 5 star is because the back parking lot tends to flood easily when its raining.
Employees are very nice and polite.... However Goodwills prices are ridiculous. Seen many items there that cost less brand new elsewhere....
Awesome selection. Staff friendly and helpful. Got some great deals on both new and used items.
Very good
How does a store leave up discounted prices on all items but turn around and say “we can’t offer those discounts anymore” and proceed to leave the ads for it up?? Extremely disappointed at the lack of knowledge these employees have and how rude they are.. won’t be visiting again any times soon...
This Goodwill has also adopted the new Goodwill model of offering a huge amount of new dollar store stuff at more than a dollar prices, and higher priced used clothing. I dont like the change, and do not consider Goodwill to be a thrift store any longer. This location is awkward to get into with a vehicle. You have to go into the Wal-Mart driveway to enter the Goodwill parking lot, and you should exit further east onto the same driveway to get out without having to make a very tight u-turn. I dont think I will return to any Goodwill store in the future now that they cost more and use a lot of floor space for made in China junk that is higher priced than at a dollar store.
Great selection of items at great prices!
The store was very nice and it a variety of to choose from to satisfy whatever you deserve old and new
This store is well stocked with quality products. You could spend hours in there shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The prices here are absolutely insane. Anything they think might be worth value they stick a price on wayyyyy over any type of actual value. They dont mind letting it sit on the shelf for 5 months, lowering the price in 5 dollar increments. This is a thrift store not an antique shop/high end clothing boutique. Definitely the worst goodwill in this part of Florida.
Decent place, decent prices, great stuff to buy !
I really enjoyed my experience here. I got 2 Tommy Hifiger polo shirts for $14
Was like every Goodwill nothing different. We found a couple things what we bought. Was not bad
Great selection of new home goods! The toy area needed more options but overall great location!
Good price, a lot of merchandise!!!
The store is huge. Wish the clothes were a little more organized by size. you have to look through the whole rack to find your size.
Good
Books are way too expensive. Nothing is sorted by size. Not even a designated spot for plus size. Not my favorite. store.
Comes to Thrift stores, this one is a little unorganized. Its big, but kinda confusing. Or maybe thats their strategy so that u have to spend more time in the store. Has a good selections though.
This store is great. They have so many cloths for all sizes and there for the most part organized. The workers are all very friendly. I volunteered my time and I will be doing it again in the near future. They have more then cloths tho. They have all kinds of different things, household, nik naks, toiletrys, and toys. Im sure Im missing things bc theres so much. If u havent been u should go!
Good merchandise but higher prices than most thrift stores Ive gone to .
Could organize the sizes a little bit better. Its like one big closet of lets see where we can put everything. Idk...
I always seem to find something that I can repurpose to suit my plant collection or other craft needs.
Love this store. Please organize merchandize with the original tags still on them in one location. Please.
