Required us to put on masks to order coffee before then taking them off to drink the coffee. Not really logical. Oatmilk flat white had an two flavors that did not complement themselves together well - like 2 nutty flavor profiles. The batch brew Honduras coffee was amazing! Very unique, bright and fresh roast. The shop feels more bar like with some cool pop-up stand vibes. Espresso machines on corners of this square, open concept shop. Friendly service.

Great place at the armature works. Very fairly priced beer. Couldn’t find a beer for $5 so I went here and I was pleasantly surprised how good he hibiscus beer was. The bartender was a cool gentleman we talked for a while and I had great service. Will be coming back again.

Been here over a hundred times, I think. Best coffee in Tampa according to my nose and my taste buds. Staff are genuinely friendly and skilled and it’s great that they take time to chat while you’re sitting at the bar.

Every time I come to get coffee here it’s a great experience. Last night was a cold night so I opted for the s’mores latte and wow!!! Delicious. The coffees are great. The service is quick. Don’t miss out on this as I assume it’s a limited time menu item.

First off, let me say I’m extremely surprised that the reviews aren’t that great for this place. I’m not local to Tampa but make it a point to come to this side of town just for this coffee joint. Their service is great and coffee is spectacular. Their iced horchata latte is off the charts. Presentation is perfect. And the ice is bite size, so nice and crunchy. Love this place so much!

It was mine and my girlfriends first time coming here and there was a lady working that was wearing a white shirt who rudely told us that we had to tell them oat milk was in the hot chocolate before paying cause there was a up charge of a $1. I understand but the rudeness was totally Unnecessary. We didn’t know that and my girlfriend is lactose intolerant.

This is a small little coffee shop inside Tampas Armature Works for hall. The coffee here is amazing and staff was nice and helpful. I thought the price was a bit high but its definitely worth checking out.

Worst espresso I’ve ever tasted. I was raised in Italy, and I can say these guys clearly have no idea what coffee is supposed to taste like. I don’t add milk and sugar to my espresso and so I actually taste the coffee and I couldn’t bare to finish it. Tossed it after a sip and a half (the second sip was me making an effort since I had just paid 4 dollars for an espresso).

Great horchata, worst customer service. Every staff member Ive encountered is miserable. If youre in the business of customer service, maybe one quality should be liking humans.

Just stopped in for some cold Brew. Server was disinterested to say the least. Nitro cold Brew tasted similar to a coffee that was brewed 10 hours ago, left on the burner, then thrown on ice. I need the caffeine or Id be tossing it. Go to Starbucks or Dunkin and save yourself $50. 🤷🏻‍♂️.... Edit.... Neither one of us could finish these 12 oz nitro brews. 🤮

As a coffee enthusiast I could definitely give this a no. I have tried coffee from all around the world and this coffee stand was something unbelievable. The coffee beans were over roasted which is an insult to the coffee industry. I paid $7 for a medium s’mores latte which I threw half of it out. Not coming back :/ Also, rude barista.

I’m from Dallas, first time here and I was impressed by the service, coffee and the staff that served me! They only accept Debit or credit cards. The gentleman behind me ordered a drink and provided the cashier with cash, cashier explained they only accept debit/credit cards. The gentleman was telling the cashier he didn’t have his debit card and as I was pulling my card out to pay for this mans drink the cashier told him not to worry about it since he was a first time customer it would be on the house. Not only were the 2 gentleman behind the counter helpful and kind to me they were very polity and customer friendly to others too! This is amazing to see people be nice, understanding & welcoming to others! I will definitely go back and definitely recommend this place! Other than the service being exceptional the coffee was deliciously perfect!

They Used to make good decent latte when they opened up few years back, but lately Ive had bad latte couple of times here. They really need to up their game on it and have someone who knows how to make one for their customers. Paid to have latte but felt like wasted $5 instead on a weak skim milk

This is the worst coffee, I ordered plain espresso.I have ever tasted in any of the countries I have lived. I lived in Italy for 8 years coffee awesome, I lived in Japan coffee awesome, I lived in Romania coffee awesome, I lived in Turkey coffee awesome. I just did not visit these countries I lived over 3 years in each country. I traveled to many other countries and experienced different types of coffee from Greek coffee to African coffee. I have never tasted coffee as terrible as yours. When I confronted the barista, I was told their coffee has a special taste and maybe I needed more traditional coffee. What does traditional coffee taste like? I think I am a pretty good judge of coffee. What your coffee lacked was good water and good cleaning of your coffee machine. Your coffee tasted like vinegar and salt. So it was not the coffee but preparing the coffee the correct way. Next time, somebody asks for coffee don’t insult them by saying they do not know the taste. Coffee should never taste vinegary It does not matter what country you live in.

Incredible coffee! Their pressure brew coffee is absolutely wonderful. You can get it in growlers to go! Day I was there I got to meet two of the brothers. Their service was absolutely impeccable and the coffee was incredible. Highly strongly recommended!

I found this place to relatively consistently provide very good cappuccinos. The best in Tampa I guess. Its nice to see the burnished brown of the expresso base as they prepare it, along with to the high quality micro foam (and foam art). It looks like it will be tasty and does not disappoint. Very enjoyable.

Excellent local coffee. Union is quickly becoming one of my favorite coffee spots in town. The staff is friendly and the drinks are made well. The coffee has a great, crisp and clean taste.Prices are also fair considering its inside Armature Works. Im glad Commune + Co. finally has a permanent location and Im looking forward to seeing more things in the future from them.

Visiting from out of town and had heard good things.The staff was personable and attentive considering how steady the orders were. I appreciated the manager took the time to answer questions, although the staff seemed a little stressed at the time.Pressure brew was spectacular. More refined flavir than cold brew with less caffeine (which Im sensitive to).Cool, responsibly sourced wine selection too, which I appreciated.Looking forward to seeing it grow & expand in such a unique area.

A little expensive for a coffee place. Thought the service was a little lazy. Your only 20 feet away at anytime but you might as well be 2 miles. Yes, I would like cream. Yes, before my little coffee cup is cold. No thanks. Better coffee shops in downtown. Foundation, buddy brew, Starbucks, and several others that appreciate people willing to overpay for good coffee, service and atmosphere.

Stopped in to Union on a Sunday afternoon when Armature was pretty busy. I had a few Pressure Brew nitro cold brew coffees and then a beer while I was getting some work done. Due to the nature of the spot as a grab and go for coffee, tea, and beer, service was good but straight foreword. However, the longer I was there, the more friendly and approachable the staff became. That’s not to say they were unfriendly before, but just focused on serving beverages to a steady flow of customers that we’re taking beverages to go. I will definitely be back to try their other coffee and espresso drinks. The area provided reliable access to the Armature WiFi network too.

Got two iced drinks for a meeting; the lids are awful and leaked around the edges when you drank them resulting in lattes spilling on our clothes. For 11 dollars, the lids should fit properly and not leak.

Ordered a drink topped with Star anise, guy garnishes it with cinnamon says oh i dont know why I made it wrong oh well and leaves without the topping or correcting the drink. Lazy.Ive also been scoffed at for asking for a single sugar.coffee cola is good, it comes out of a tap and is hard to ruin.

I just ordered a double cappuccino. I watched the barista make it with skill and care. From a customer service perspective, it couldn’t of been better. Everything was perfect. My mouth was watering. I walked away, tasted the coffee and had I been outside, I would’ve spit it out. I don’t know where your sourcing your coffee from, but it’s terrible. Seriously terrible. Folgers terrible. I know coffee. I gave two stars because the staff was so nice.

This was some of the worst coffee Ive ever had. The espresso tasted faintly of peas and the nitro tasted off as well (no amount of cream and sugar made it taste even close to palatable coffee). Maybe their heavily flavored coffees taste better but I find that hard to believe if they use that terrible espresso as the base.The service was average. They lack signage to demonstrate key parts of their service. For example, youre meant to order on a specific side (at least thats what the baristas told us after we waited for 10 mins on the wrong side) and its a card only establishment. But beyond that, service was fine.Id suggest venturing to places outside of Armature Works if you want decent coffee.

Soooo many other coffee shops that are better. The owner seems miserable, won’t even smile, say hi or acknowledge you, then coffee has a weird after taste, the cortado is literally a joke it literally comes in a 2 ounce shot glass, expensive for what you’re paying for.

Tried the presssure brew cold coffee man its like crack from the 80s great vibe, great staff definitely a place you need to come and checkout. Right in the heart of Armature Works nice bar setup, even some draft beers on tap. Great spot definietly will be coming back for sure.

The staff I dealt with here were unpleasant, to say the least. Their is no clear menu displayed, and all that is offered is a menu slip which you hardly get a hold of, since their are many people grabbing it. Anyways, I was looking for suggestions and the barista put minimal efforts into helping me out. When I asked if the drink came pre-sweetened, the other barista responded with “negative” in a snarky tone . I’m sure they’ve become accustomed to people staying quiet and accepting their condescending attitude, but I gladly returned the negative energy . Also, the third barista I dealt with kept staring and when I looked at her and smiled, she just remained stone-faced. For their prices, I much rather go elsewhere.iced latte was good but far from memorable .
