The lassi version of the drinks are great. Well made. The place has a nice video game world feel to it. Live acts every now and then. The taro tasted great as well. A great place to hang out with friends do your homework and really laze around a bit. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a book swap section.

Great laid-back and welcoming atmosphere with walls full of local artists work. Quiet areas for customers to relax in are like being in your own living room. Its relaxing to kick back on any of the couches and enjoy your drink and/or sweet treat from the display case. Its easy to take your time and enjoy this place! Bring your homework? Loved it here. The feeling you get when you walk in is unlike any other boba shop i have been to. Combines the exotics of Asian bubble tea with the eclectic vibe of a homey coffee shop. The staff is so friendly and spend their time with you to pic from a huge menu. The owner is very nice and willing to do what ever it takes to help you out. I was uncertain about my drink and he was able to suggest many options to help my picky taste buds. I will definitely come back with friends

Have been coming here for years. I miss the open mic nights but good news, I hear they may be returning. I am never disappointed when i come here. So many drinks to choose from and the staff and owner put a lot of work into making everyone welcome even if its your first time. A weekly stop for me.

The employees are amazing and are the best part of the shop. The owner is insane and so rude. So unappreciative of his employees. It makes me never gonna come back. Ive heard many customers complain about his attitude and his bad smell. His name is Chaz and hes hiding the inspectors note they got that did not pass the health check! Ive attached a picture, this should be on the front door!

Loved it. would give it 5 stars except they were out of a lot of flavors. My favorits is the Boba Patch and they are out of pear. I know there is a nation wide boba supply shortage but will be back anyway.

The Boba House is a wonderfully unique experience. Every drink or dessert I have tried has been delicious! It is a place to go to hang out and if you need caffeine its an excellent choice. Love the eclectic style and all the local artwork displayed.

Went to get boba with a friend when it was a bit busy. The business wasnt their fault, I guess, but their inability to deal with it was. We waited in line for over thirty minutes before getting to the chance to place our orders. When we did order, it took another fifteen minutes for them to make the drinks. But as it turned out, they forgot my order and lost the card for it. I told them, and they went and made my order - incorrectly. In total, I waited an over hour for a drink I didnt order (and was neither worth the price nor the wait). I cant reasonably recommend this as a nice spot to stop at. The only reason for two stars instead of one was because previous times werent this bad.

Fantastic place to study, great hours, kind service... I recommend creating better order cards that are more clear because all special instructions are forgotten as soon as they pass along the drink order to the person making the drink. Ill be back

The address isnt updated on Google maps! Anyway, we succeed to go there. After a long time of waiting, we ordered.The menus were questionable but the employee didnt even know the items! Also, the price of the drinks had not been added to the menus.I ordered chocolate, which was good but my husband ordered a mojito which tasted too sweet and it had an artificial flavor. He couldn’t have it.The place looks cozy but it needs better staff and some considerations!

Very friendly staff and very nice/chill atmosphere. I love that they support local artists and have artwork hung up everywhere. The tea was more sugary than other locations and wasnt my personal favorite, it was servicable. Their small bakery was tasty. Definitely would return with my friends as this is a very nice hangout spot. Give it a try!

I love trying new boba places and I’m very glad I tried this one. The boba itself if expertly made and their drink flavors are eclectic but delicious. I especially recommend the berry flavors.

Walked up to order and received a mumbled Ill be right with you then stood in line at the counter for at least 3 minutes while the people behind would make eye contact but then keep on doing what they were doing or at one point they had a personal conversation while we just stood there. Ended up leaving without ordering anything.

What a unique place!I love Boba tea and someone had told me to go check this location out.Band stage, lots of independent art being offered on the walls from customers, video games, board games, wonderful and welcoming staff..I was very impressed! Their cup sealing machine is a great touch as well.

This place takes like 20 minutes to prepare a drink. I ordered an iced coffee and it had no ice and it didn’t taste like coffee either. Do yourself a favor and go to the next boba place in the plaza across.

My friends whom I told Ive never had boba before took me to this place and I had no expectations. However, upon entering this place it exceeded the expectations I did not have. The service was phenomenal, the art on the walls set the immaculate young feeling atmosphere, and it was a clean place all the tables, bathroom, and seating were clean. The drink was beyond great. Its such an interactive place with games, music, and books even.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this is the worst boba place in Tampa. I went to this place because my usual spot was closed, and I regret wasting my money. The ice is crushed????? So when you drink through the straw, a bunch of crushed ice comes with it. This store makes you wait 30 minutes for a drink with hard tapioca pearls and artificially flavored tea. Spend your money elsewhere. The service is horrible and slow and the drinks were not even worth the wait

Pretty clean overall.. but they dont have half of the selection that they claim to have.. they only had two types of boba in stock.. but they are a boba cafe!! They also claim to sell art but what we saw looked like it was created by a 6 yr old .

This place has really sugary slushees. If that’s what you want then good for you. I got their strawberry milk tea today and it wasn’t BAD but it definitely wasn’t the best either. The boba pearls were fine but the drink didn’t taste like strawberry at all. They also put crushed ice in there and I kept sucking them up through the straw. This got to be kind of annoying because the change of texture between boba and crushed ice. I like the chill atmosphere in there though. Like i said earlier, the place isn’t bad, BUT there is a much better place across the street called Chewy Boba. Check them out.

They have really good open mics on Fridays and the drinks are good for the price. If you are an artist you can sell your art here for free and all money made goes to you. So all art you see is currently on sale

I gave this place three stars because the local art and vibe of the place is pretty cool, but the service leaves much to be desired. Multiple times we would order two drinks and be the only ones in there and it would take too long for the drinks to come out. Then the actual drinks themselves weren’t that stellar, some flavors were okay but you could tell it was a flavored powder rather than an actual brewed tea. I know some people prefer that and sometimes I am looking for that super sweet flavor too but any other boba tea place I’ve been to asked if I wanted the brewed tea or if I wanted the mix. Overall I wouldn’t discount the spot, go check it out for yourself if it sounds like a good time but I wouldn’t go back.

I used to LOVE this place, and would make the drive from Pasco just for it, but last time I went, about mid-late March the boy working the register was so rude and aggressively asking for tips it was PATHETIC. Are you that underpaid that you have to demand tips from at least 4 different groups of customers, because thats how it came of to me as someone who works in retail management. Super off putting and if I see him next time I go in I will tell him that, and not return again.

Very nice owner and staff. My daughter and I bought artwork made by a local artist. We simply love them! A large variety of items to indulge in. They also have live entertainment as well.

I love the boba tea my boyfriend got me there. We even sat down and listen the pianist they have a mini wall gallery and my boyfriend bought me the purple drawing of the girl that was hanging there. We ended up going back for more the next day.

This place has been around for a long time, and was the first boba place in the area, to my memory. The atmosphere inside is very unique, but suits the place very well. Its very comfortable and lounge styled. There is art from local artists decorating the walls. The drinks are always very well made and unique blends that most likely would not initially combine on their own. The boba itself as always very good as well. Pre-COVID 19 this place was always bustling with people, music, and other entertainment. Its definitely an experience in itself just going there.

Disgusting. I used to work here. Do not recommend. Roaches, very dirty. Co-worker said they caught the boss doing inappropriate things in the back room. If you have allergies, everything touches peanuts and dairy. Drinks turn watery within minutes because the main ingredient is ice. Ice machine doesnt get cleaned. Floors always sticky. When I worked here, I was the only employee. Ive seen plenty of horrible employees steal, and the customers are often very unsafe character. The boba is often bland and overcooked.

The Boba House is the best boba place I’ve been to in recent times. It’s become a happy place for me, the overall vibe and ambience paired well as well. Any day/night spent with a boba drink from here is a a day/night well spent.

Horrible experience.. waited over 40 min for ONE drink. Three ppl after me got there drinks when I asked when would mine be ready she said it coming right out. 2-min later mine was done. Multiple ppl entered and left. Long lines and super long wait for a drink, unexceptionable.. will not return nor recommend to anyone!!

Wow! We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our visit to Tampa, and boy, were we glad! The boba drink selection is vast and extremely customizable: you can even choose how much sugar goes into your boba drink. We were warmly greeted by Kyle, who took the time to explain the various options, flavors, etc. He was awesome,very friendly and cheery! We look forward to coming back to The Boba House during our next Tampa visit!

Boba house was okay. Their drink is different and taste very SWEET! It taste like candy. The location doesn’t have a lot of parking and there’s not many rooms to sit and enjoy. There’s live events of local musicians, artists, and poetics that advertise their skills. The place is packed when we come (Saturday night), but I wish they have more flavor than just sugar and candy flavor. A lot of advertisements and a great place to meet new people. I just don’t recommend the drink unless you like candy drink. There’s a lot of options of drinks, but I feel like four of the different drinks we ordered taste the same.

Super slow and cant get a basic order for a cup of coffee. Worst coffee shop I have ever been to.

The atmosphere is cute, but that’s it. We tried 10 drinks, and they were all undrinkable. Too sweet, but even the drinks that were 50% sugar were horrible. Its syrup based sugar. They turned off the lights on us and cleaned in the dark so we can leave lol.

This place is so chill, I love it. Had an anxiety attack from school and just being in their atmosphere 10 minutes before closing was perfect. The boba is delicious. A little on the higher price but 100% worth it, I promise. The piano player was really good too. My favorite hangout spot overall

One of the best places Ive ever been to for Boba drinks. The service is outstanding and feels as if youre home. Theres board games for entertainment as well console games (switch, Gamecube). Fridays theres open mic nights. I just absolutely love this place!!

2.5 stars because the place is cool I love the local art on the walls. However my friend ordered before me and after I ordered I waited 11 minutes and my friends took 4 more minutes. We were the only ones there so idk why it took so long Kung Fu Tea does it in 3 mins. When I paid the guy asked me if I made up my name which was weird. And the cup is mostly ice and a small layer of Boba (I like to eat my Boba last so mostly all of them are still there from when I bought it) that you can see in the pic. I mean if I pay $4.25 for 16 oz I dont want 8oz of ice. And the flavor is ok. Would recommend Bobacup or Kung Fu Tea over this one for this area

Open mic on Friday nights is amazing. There were some who even set up full band and drum kit. Old guy blowing trumpet started the night and Sonny, a comedian, hit it out of the park for a rip roaring 10-minute set.

This place has been around for ages and is always growing and changing. A fantastic stop for wonderful boba drinks and live music during certain days of the week (Friday’s, I think?). The tiramisu is my favorite. Oh and they have Super Smash Brothers to play, a bookshelf or two, artwork and crafts on display for sale from local artists, and plenty of niches to hide in. A good place for introverts and extroverts alike.

This place is heaven! They have a variety of lattes with boba that i love. They even add boba to a lassi with a variety of bursting flavours that i have never seen elsewhere! They have something called bursting boba and their lychee bursting boba is a must try. Great flavours and the ambience is cozy and very artsy. Loved this place

I love The Boba House. I have been going here for years and almost always get the same thing: passion berry lassi. It has a nice chill vibe with video games and live music some times. Nice selection of restaurants nearby to pair with the boba!

My Girl suggested this place from back in her college days. Went in and found quite a few choices are presented to you in a pretty laid-back atmosphere.the menu is easy to understand and the ordering process is painless. they quickly prepare the drinks and the quality was excellent.my order was the large 3 flavor (lemon, strawberry and green apple) which was great. my girl got the Pikachu flavor from the pre made flavor combinations. (theres a ton) and it was delicious too.overall recommended

Ive enjoyed coming to Boba House for years, but my last experience was extremely disappointing and lacking in any level of customer service. We were not given service at all. This past weekend my siblings and I walked in and were told by the employee behind the counter that hed be right with us. The three of us stood at the counter patiently, money in hand, while we were ignored for over 10 minutes. There was no one else in line and no one waiting for their drink. This employee began making a new drink after he told us hed be right with us. I can only assume it was for himself, because he leisurely took his time and did not make eye contact with us after the initial greeting. He even took a call right in front of us while continuing to make the drink. In the past, Ive noticed very slow service at this place, but this was the first time I was actually ignored completely. I dont understand why this employee would greet us and then not acknowledge us at all after that. We had somewhere else to be and had only wanted to stop in for a quick drink to go, so after waiting for so long and feeling too uncomfortable to say anything, we left. We were prepared and looking forward to each of us buying a drink, and we were very disappointed to not be serviced whatsoever. I will not be returning and will no longer recommend Boba House to anyone in the future.
