Whatever Pops and Bowls on Florida Avenue in Tampa is a great place to go for all things delicious cold treats and bowls. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have created here. Everything that I have tried from here has been fresh and well prepared. Well worth a visit.

Whatever* you want, I swear that Whatever Pops will have it.. If you want a refreshing sweet treat, they have it all- açaí bowls, smoothies, milkshakes, grilled cheese, waffle on a stick, handmade popsicles, coffee, do you get my gist?Don’t “whatever” me on this review, because I am so serious. This place is wholly amazing. It’s quirky and full of personality, and holds one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had to date. I take my açaí pretty darn seriously, and I don’t give out compliments like that lightly. But this was so FRESH, so bursting with flavor and just perfect. I wish I lived closer so that I could stop by at least several times a week just for the bowls.The grilled cheese was fantastic too- again, just so fresh and real and setting the standard for how a grilled cheese should be. The coffee was okay, and I was so tempted to try literally everything on the menu. Waffle on a stick? Come onnnn. Whatever man, I am certainly coming back for more!!

Cute place, grilled cheese was good! All three hit the spot (dont worry, we shared lol). Had the hazy chocolate milkshake and it was amazing! The Nutella made it hard to drink with the straw though, thats my only complaint! Staff was courteous and patient since it was our first visit!

Pretty good! I’ve only tried one smoothie but I would love to come back and try some more. The PB/oat smoothie was very filling. Seems like they have a wide selection!

Ive had several people recommend this spot for a long time and finally bit the bullet and stopped in. The woman working the register also prepared my food (made fresh in front of me!) And she was delightful! The grilled cheese was amazing and I highly recommend the Banana Brew Smoothie! Im not one to typically leave reviews but this place was definitely lived up to the hype. Ill be back and thats for sure! My only regret was not tipping more than I did.

I had an açaí bowl and a grilled cheese for my first visit. Their popsicles are phenomenal and their bowls are exceptional. I’m a huge ice cream fan, but I like being able to mix it up and treating myself to other frozen treats. If you’re not starving, one bowl to share between 2 people is a good idea. I’ll be returning frequently 😁

This place is so cool, for once I’m happy for traffic on 275. Enjoyed a “standard” grilled cheese and it was absolutely sublime. I will be making it a point to take the highway a little less frequently now.

A really nice shop that has really good smoothies, shakes, acai bowls and more 👍👍. They also have punch cards and a military discount.The avian bowls are really good, you can choose different toppings and boosters but they really should be bigger for the price.We will be back to try more soon

This review is for the location @ Sparkman Wharf (not on Google maps)...Location super cute & the staff are pretty friendly (although a bit aloof).I ordered the Açaí bowl but the staff told me it was bitter & I probably wouldn’t like it - persuading me to get the Açaí blended with fruit.I should have stuck with my original order as the açaí blended with strawberries & mango with the fruit, granola & honey was too sweet for my friend & myself.

I live in the neighborhood and love visiting occasionally. It can be pricey but I feel the quality is there. Their pops are a bit too sweet for my enjoyment but Ive had their grilled cheese, smoothies/shakes and bowls. All are great but if you want to be blown away, I highly advise the Banana Brew or Spirulina Matcha (MY ALL TIME FAV EVER!) smoothies. I seriously get cravings for their smoothies.

Really fun place great snacks and light meals. While we where there we saw three really well behaved dogs. One was huge.Great coffee and gelato.Everyone in the store is friendly and many customers interact like in a small community place. Nostress just fun.

Great gelato. Some of the standard flavors and a couple of really nice flavors. Pumpkin and cold brewed coffee with chocolate chips. We ate our fill and took some home.High quality and a very friendly staff. We highly recommend!

Really happy with the Mango Strawberry Popsicle, great tasting and not too sweet. Would recommend this for anyone.Also liked the Cookies and Cream gelato in a cone. Somewhat limited seating, has some seats against the front wall and only 3 tables. Our party of 7 still made it work. Plenty of parking on the side and in back of the building. Im looking forward to coming back to some other flavors, also the grill cheese and acai bowls

Dessert is great, albeit a little pricey. I love studying here. I had the classic grilled cheese and was a little disappointed. A little pricey. I understand the ingredients cost a bit since theyre using local bread, but I think the bread was perhaps a little underproved? Not totally sure, but it tasted off.

I heard about Sparkman Wharf through a friend and went there with my bf and best friend. It was such a cute area to chill, especially since it was a sunny Friday.It was a little bit hot outside so we decided to look for something to cool down and came across whatever pops. We got the almond cacao acai bowl to share among the three of us and it was perfect! The bowl contained blended frozen acai topped with banana, cacao, fresh fruit (your choice of 2 I believe - I chose strawberry, and blueberry), granola, local honey, choice of almond or peanut butter (I chose almond) and coconut flakes.I would only get this acai bowl if I was sharing with other friends because I dont think I would be able to finish all of it myself. The price was all right but with the amount given, I believe it was fair. Besides that, I was a bit overwhelmed by almond butter that they provided. Otherwise the bowl was good!

Sooo good !! I’ve loved whatever pops from their cart at Curtis Nixon events for years. The store has soo many options. The açaí bowls are to die for !! The popsicles are incredible. I haven’t tried their food yet, but the grilled cheese menu sounds out of this world !!

Very simple approach to grilled cheese, this one,, with bacon... Definitely delicious at a cost of $8 for this its a little heavy in the price but its definitely worth splurging on

Wow this place is amazing. I got two scoops of gelato and it was fantastic. My friend got a popsicle which was also really good. I have seen their carts selling popsicles before and had been wanting to try them out. I will definitely be coming back to try more things.

Great desert after a day of traveling. Alex from Whatever Pops and Bowl provided excellent service and answered our questions with knowledge and kindness. I had the Banana Split and added Nutella.... perfect flavor profile!

They only have 3 choices for the Acai bowls. No picture brochure to see how everything looks visually, not mention I had a hair in my bowl . They don’t let you substitute and and then my bowl looked NOTHING like the pictures online . I asked for Nutella and it was placed somewhere in the middle of the fruit . In the pictures the Nutella was topped . I had to go back in so they could fix it . I admire attention to detail, and presentation and unfortunately my first time here wasn’t so great .

This is a must go to place!!! Add it to your bucket list, because man is this place amazing?! Is it a bit expensive? Yea, but so is just about every place in Tampa.I will say I think their gelato is worth every penny, because I have NEVER had better gelato anywhere else! As for their waffle on a stick with Nutella drizzled on top... it’s “to die for” 🤤🤤Please, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

The people here were so nice and welcoming. They had treats for puppies here and the açaí bowls were fantastic. So glad we stopped here. It will always be my last stop before I fly out of Tampa now.

The popsicles and bowls here are good. My kids love the waffles on the stick but they are out of them a full 50% of the time so if you are interested call before you go. Worth a try for sure though!

Acai bowls are amazing! Lots of frozen acai and a perfect topping of fresh fruit. The Earl grey lemonade ice pops are the best, and my husband swears by the grilled cheese. Come early for the grilled cheeses though; they stop making them an hour before closing to give the equipment time to cool down. Staff is amazing here!
