Great coffee spot in the very nice Westchase Village Park. Lots of delicious coffee, desserts and food options. The staff is very friendly as you would expect from all the other Blind Tiger locations. Always love all their artistic murals on the walls which adds a nice feel to the whole vibe. This is a great place to work from with a moderate amount of outlets for the seating area. I highly recommend checking out this spot if you want great coffee options!
While not likely the target demographic of a coffee shop, having alternative options for folks that are not into the brew is good business practice. On a cold day, a hot chocolate went well and it was good to see the drink stayed true to the word of the menu having actual chocolate syrup than the powdered mix offered elsewhere. As for the image included, the perennial Millennial food: Avocado Toast w/ Egg. The spread was sufficient, chili oil providing a nice light kick along with the tang of the lime wedge. A good light meal to start the day. Overall atmosphere relaxing and peaceful where my experience was brief after walking in to pickup the online order.
I ordered Uber eats at 10:30 and I still hadn’t received my food at 11:30, and mind you I only order one sandwich. This is the worse service ever.
I really liked this place! I tried the Vanilla Lavender Cold Brew and it was one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had. Stayed for a bit to do some work, too. It is a little cold inside, but its a lovely place.
I’ve come here a lot over the past six months, and I can say that it’s my favorite coffee shop in the area. Their Mocha Latte is my go-to drink. It’s always in point, and doesn’t burn my mouth to cinders on my first sip. It’s a relaxing place to do work, study, or just sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Their baristas are always friendly, and know the menu well enough to make suggestions. 10/10 will be coming here until I low as the area.
My Caramel Latte Coffee is so yummy! Definitely give them a try!! 🙌☕😋
$6.29 for a medium size coffee they call a large. Will not be back ever. If you want overpriced coffee in a small cup you found the place. The Starbucks that was here was price to the right size of coffee. This location of this new coffee house is not worth the price. I highly do not recommend coming here!
Limited menu options, a little pricey, and the coffee was okay. I think they were unsure of how to make a Pour-over, so waited awhile to get it. All-in-all, an average community coffee shop, but the staff was pleasant, the clientele were those that lived in the community and could walk to it, and there was plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Would go again, for just the ambiance with friends.
Amazing grilled 3 cheese sandwich, with goat cheese being a yummy addition. Added ham. Large portions, very tasty.Chai tea was very good. The staff was very friendly and made great recommendations.Definitely will be back. Already craving the 3 cheese grill!
The environment was lovely and the people were extremely friendly. The breakfast sandwich and pastry that me and my boyfriend ordered were great as well .But the two mocha lattes we order were less than desirable. it tasted as if they just put black coffee mixed with a dash of milk and the mocha in it was barely noticeable. I tried to finish drinking mine but the taste was so awful it made me feel sick. MY boyfriend threw his out and grabbed starbucks instead.
My favorite coffee place in Tampa. Always great tasting. Many drink and food options. Great location in Westchase. 5 other locations also. Try the Dirty Thaiger!
The shop is very clean + the atmosphere is nice. however, it seems that the music is too loud. i asked the barista for a 16 oz iced matcha latte with almond milk, and my friend asked for a breakfast croissant with egg + cheese.the barista gave us a plain croissant with nothing on it + a chai iced latte with regular milk. im lactose intolerant, that drink wouldve cost me a whole day on the toilet. when i said is this a matcha latte with almond milk? she said no you ordered a chai latte i do not like being told what i ACTUALLY ordered--i was a barista for three years. when someone says their drink is wrong, you apologize + remake the correct drink. i do not need the attitude.nonetheless, my drink was made (it took over five minutes, even though the store was empty) + it tasted fine. my father also loved the tacos that he ordered, so three stars. maybe turn down the music + the attitude, blind tiger cafe.
We came in on a Saturday morning and very few people were here. We placed our order and had to wait over 30 minutes to receive our food! We ordered the omelette and a waffle. The waffle was good but very small and the omelette was very bland!
Beautiful hidden gem in Westchase for delicious tea, coffee, and the best grilled cheese on Cuban bread! I highly recommend Blind Tiger!
Coffe is great but they are always so slow with fulfilling orders. Also one of the employees at the register kept leaving her position to pet her dog her dad had brought up and ever washed her hands after and was fulfilling orders wig her bare hands- gross.
Saturday morning coffee stop and as we went in to order, the Batista did not see a man in a wheelchair and asked for our order instead. She then realized her mistake and made it look like we were trying to cut in front of the gentleman. When we did place our order, the barista was short with us and would only point to a SKU on the counter when we asked about breakfast sandwiches. Experience was so unpleasant we declined to place an order and left.
Well forget the coffee for now.. the food.. omg the food.. why even bother guys? These 2 finger thin sandwiches cost me almost $20! .. the egg sandwich aside from the burnt microwave smell.. wife took one bite and spit it out..the egg was half the size of the stale bread it was on and it was dressed with lettuce and mustard? The hell puts lettuce and mustard on eggs? Anyway .. the ALT (avocado lettuce tomato) sandwich had a literal SMEAR of guacamole a nickle sized piece of tomato and wilted lettuce .. seriously why bother serving food at all if absolutely no love is put into it? ... Coffee was terrible.. got the cold brew black.. undrinkable.. was so excited about this place as to have an alternative to Starbucks ... Guess not
The coffee here is good. I love the staff here as well.
I love coming here. My only issue is that I ordered an açai bowl today without almond products, and it still had almonds on top. I was able to pick them out but other than that its great.
Coffee shops arent really my thing but Its hard no to fall in love with how charming this place is. Staff is very friendly as well.
Overpriced, but best coffee. The iced Caramel Latte is amazing. Expect to pay $8 and up though (on one drink).
Had a quick business meeting there. Business friendly!!
Their coffee was very high quality and delicious. The barista was knowledgeable.
We like to go to local coffee shops wherever we live and wherever we travels. The barista recommended the dirty tiger and bombon to us. They were awful. Taste like watered down drinks with plain flavors. As far as local coffee shops, this was way below average and such a disappointment. I would not recommend it.
Had an overall negative experience in this shop the one and only time I visited. After waiting 10 minutes for my drink, I asked how long it may take. I was informed my drink had already been made, but someone else had taken it by mistake. Rather than making me a new drink, the staff called to the customer who had taken my drink by mistake and asked them to give it to me. They said it was fine because she hadnt taken a sip from it yet; however, I would have preferred a new drink as I couldnt be certain the other customer had not drank from it (besides the fact that my hot drink had now gotten lukewarm). The pourover was average, but the service and high price made this a negative experience. Down the street, The Grind is much better. Likely wont return.
The staff and experience is great. The food and coffee are okay. Somewhere between lackluster and excellent.
I went there three times and all my orders were bad. The prices are ridiculous! So expensive. I ordered affogato which was about $6,5 and got something for like three sips in a cup! Ordered iced matcha and tasted like dirt, they don’t put any sugar. Every time I went there, I returned regretting it. Just go somewhere else, really.
Nice variety on the menu even some vegan options. The avocado toast wasnt great not much avocado on it. My son got the chocolate chip pancakes and loved them.
Just average. Staff was friendly enough but I also always tip. Espresso was decent, a little too sweet for my taste. Cold brew was also decent although my husband didn’t love it. The açaí bowls definitely just need to be executed better. They’re a million times better at grain and berry in palm harbor. It barely had any toppings and kind of seemed like it was pre-made a while ago and sat in the fridge for too long. Overall just average.
A little pricey, and the menu never changes, but its just....really good. I always get the cafe bon bon with oat milk and an extra 2 shots. The harvest spice is pretty good too! Super cool place, with a rewards program too :)
I was going for a early morning walk and decided to stop into Blind Tiger Coffee which I have been doing for the past week. I did not have my mask on and the sign at the door encouraged mask but did not require so I thought I would order my coffee to go. While inside I walked up to the counter to order and was immediately denied service for “not having a mask” I then explained I wanted to just place my order to go and I would be happy to wait outside until the order was ready. The person behind the counter... a “barista” if you will still denied my patronage. At first I was understanding being that Florida cases seem to be skyrocketing. While looking around I noticed other patrons sitting in enjoying themselves WITHOUT mask. I started to ask myself what was different between myself and the customers sitting ?. The color of my skin maybe ?. I admit maybe in times like this many people play the race card and I would not do so myself unless I can adamantly say this was cause of race. I simply would not take this time out to write this review if I was denied service for simply not wearing a mask even though there was no sign saying mask required. I feel the denial of service was racially motivated.... thus the reason for leaving this review.
Met a friend here for the first time. Clean, friendly place. We just had coffee and sat outside to catch up. Nice front patio
I have been working remotely from various coffee shops in Tampa for the past 9 years, and Blind Tiger Westchase continues to be my favorite coffee shop for numerous reasons. First, it is the BEST iced mocha with oat milk I have ever tasted! Top notch taste and really creamy oat milk, which a lot of places do not have. I love that they make their own chocolate in house and that is is vegan as well. Also, the staff is AMAZING - they are always so kind, down to earth, and helpful. I recently started bringing in my reusable cup, and they are able to put my drink into it, which is wonderful. I also love the ambiance of the place too. Thank you for being such a great coffee spot - dont know what I would do without you there now!
Great tea and kombucha
I love the coffee shop in our community
Great atmosphere and service. All purchases were quick and delicious.
My second review. My first was most favorable. I have a regular customer since it’s opening. Although I had discussed the high prices with owner, Roberto 2x, just today the prices increased!!. Now a small cup is $3.09. I will be cutting back. Same cup at Grind is $1.90.
Very nice customer service! Plenty of outdoor seating.
This place is great, the baristas actually know what they are doing and have great recommendations. Ask them to recommend you something if you are unsure. The food is nothing out of the extraordinary, but the selection is good.
This is a good coffee/tea/herbal drink restaurant. They make everything you would expect and they make it well. They have a few small appetizers and food but they should really be considered snacks. This isnt an establishment you would go to for a full on lunch/dinner.If you are lookouts for your morning caffeine and a little snack, you wont be disappointed.
The bagel I ordered was dry and stale, and the staff wasn’t very friendly. Not the best BT location.
Good coffee and pastries
Fresh brewed coffee...love it.
Order online for fast pick up. Great service from the ladies.
Coffee and food tastes average, but the prices are ridiculous! We ordered breakfast tacos. The screen behind the counter says the meal comes with 3 tacos, however on the paper menu the 3 is crossed out and 2 is written, but the price is still the same!A cappuccino was $4, which isnt bad but its only 10oz. I understand not serving a giant cup of coffee because its supposed to be craft, but you cant charge so much, especially since its not that great.Well stick to The Grind, sorry!
Coffee is sooooo good! Food is ok. Only complaint was that half the staff wasn’t wearing a mask. I didn’t feel safe staying inside, and coffee maker was not wearing a mask :(
We really like the cafe and the food. But, the young Millenials begins the register do not understand customer service! They are not helpful or flexible. We are on a keto diet and asked for a substitute for a side of Cuban toast and we were told ‘not possible.’
The coffee here is great, but a little pricey. Every time we go the staff is friendly and quick. Never tried the food but the menu looks great! Excellent seating and nice patio out front.
Great coffee and service.
This place is in a great location for the locals at Westpark Village but they do have competition for coffee and breakfast. We are wishing them the best in their efforts. The locals like that location to hang and drink coffee or tea.
Yummy breakfast tacos and cold brew
The food is good, but the employees are not friendly and tend to be more outgoing to the customers that they know live in the area who have a lot of money.
Loved it. Workers were very nice and was some really fresh cold brew coffee. Only downside to the place was their kitchen closed at 4. Also have some gluten free and vegan options!
Its so nice to have a legit coffee shop in the Westchase area. I still think The Lab is the best coffee place in town but its so far from where we live in citrus park. Until now, wed been going to Starbucks for the occasional coffee since its so close and convenient but Blind Tiger is so much better
Love it
We ordered two coffees, one of which was given to the wrong customer. We told the girl who made it, and she said shed get us another one. After another 15 minutes we had to leave so we asked about it, and they never even started it. No apology, no offer of a refund, no sense of urgency, no customer service. Even when we said we were out of time and would have to go to Starbucks instead, still nothing. Their coffee is decent (although they dont use cuban coffee in the cafe con leche), but for this hassle and poor service Ill be sticking to Starbucks instead.
Amazing coffee. So glad I live close by. Love the menu options and the baristas are always friendly.
Nice place to hang out on a Sunday evening. The iced Caramel Latte was delicious, as was the berry granola bar.
I highly recommend this coffee ☕️ establishment!!And customer service is definitely on point!! Good job keep up the great service
My favorite new coffee shop in the area. Great coffee and tasty sandwiches, along with an assortment of other stuff too. Gluten free options as well.
Great selection. Great food. Cool atmosphere. Great service. Friendly staff.
If you want politics slow service and mediocre food and drinks this is the place to be.
Coffee at this location is weak. I suggest to make the extra drive and try another location.
Cool neighborhood coffee joint with great coffee, bowls, and select breakfast items. Menu changes often. Lots of outdoor seating perfect for nice morning
Edible Cookie Dough is amazing!I would 10/10 recommend over dunkin doughnuts.
Nice food and good coffee but don’t like the slogan“in coffee we trust “
Great coffee awsome staff would recommend over Starbucks and dunkin donuts
Great customer service
Great relaxed atmosphere. Good iced latte. I will return.
I love this place. Great service. Amazing local coffee.
Came here for a work team meeting and food and coffee was amazing!!
It was free. My wife paid.
Glad this is here. Looking forward to trying more. The cold brew was nice, but I couldve used a darker roast.
Good coffee, good food, and good service. Prices are fair for the quality of the coffee. Only recommendation would be to invest in larger tables.
Had the Bfast Tacos....Absolutely Love Em!! And a Dirty Chai Tea!
Great food, even better coffee and friendly staff!
I am not a coffee drinker but what I had caramel latte with an excellent
The avocado toast is out of this world!! As is the almond milk mocha latte 🤤
New coffee shop in Westchase. Good coffee and their food has never disappointed either.
Perfect matcha green tea latte.
Best coffee in the area
Weak coffee, too expensive...wont be back
Over priced and slow service. Employees just hanging out behind the counter and my açaí bowl took 15 min. Last time I tip before getting service.
Awesome coffee!! Avocado toast was sooo good!! Service is exceptional!!!
Great coffee & tea anytime of the day!
Peaceful spot for meet ups.
Love the iced vanilla latte and the avocado toast!
Not very strong espresso. Too much milk
Like the coffee, staff and location. Drink prices are way too high when compared to other shops.
Friendly staff and great coffee!
Ok not more than thatStaff is great
Better than starbucks
Vanilla latte is the best here
Coffee and service is always great at Blind Tiger - Westchase!
