You start with a friendly check in at the front desk, online reservations made this seamless, you can also sign their required waiver online too, huge playroom opens up before you and your kids is off to the races!!! So much to do for your bigger kids to your smallest tikes! Reasonably priced amusement center, their coffee is very tasty and made to order, I would recommend this stop for anyone I know with kids!

This was our first time here. We were looking for some place to take our son for his 4th birthday since it’s been super hot out and/or rainy and he absolutely loved it. It was nice to just sit back and relax while our kids played snacks and drinks were reasonably priced. Staff was really nice and bathrooms were nice and clean. It was an hour drive from where we live but we’ll definitely make our way back soon

I took my 16 month old son there. He was a little too young for most things but still had a great time. The place is clean and the staff is excellent. The front staff is professional and friendly. They even had a young man, probably a teenager, walking around making sure all the kids are getting along and intervening if need be. Awesome young man. All around a great place especially for kids maybe 4 years old and up.

My 18m son loved it but I’m conflicted. It’s an over great place; friendly staff, decent coffee, pretty inexpensive. My stars comes from the cleanliness and safety. The bigger obstacle course has a big hole in the netting where a kid could fall through, lots of exposed bolt treads and exposed broken wood. We first went on Thursday morning(after they close Wednesdays for deep cleans) and everything was relatively clean but Saturday morning was not the same; lots of food and wrappers in the jumps and in the floor, even in the toddler area, push pins and ants in the seating area. I’ll take him back but only on Thursday morning.

We have 4 birthday parties here and keep coming back because they do such a great job. It’s clean, fun for the kids and the parents get to enjoy themselves. We love the space for rainy days and escaping the heat as well. Great all around.

We had our sons 7th birthday party and the whole team was SO great! They did such a good job helping with anything they could with our party while taking care of other guest as well. Extra kudos to all the staff that was working Sunday August 1st from 11-1pm. We all had a great time!

We are new to the Tampa St Pete area we went to the playground of Tampa indoor bounce house two times the first time was just for a couple hours the second time we tried a birthday party I would rate the service and the quality of the party 1 out of 10 theres absolutely nothing to really do there they have a couple old arcade machines that do nothing but take your money and you cant win anything I actually spoke to the owner Brian and he was very argumentative and was not friendly hit staff is way overwhelmed and are basically little kids themselves and not probably prepared to safely monitor kids Ive even heard of somebody breaking their arm recently in one of the slides because it was not being monitored properly I would steer away from going to that place theres much better places we have found around the area beware go at your own risk

My child attended a summer camp here. He went one day and the next day he went I got a call at 9:40am that my child had an accident. They said he fell of the side of a slide on his shoulder. They didn’t seem concerned but said he was acting “tired” I knew something more serious was wrong. I went and picked him him up and when I got there (5min later) they made him walk across the whole playground to get to me. He was NOT Coherent and was stumbling crying to get to me. I immediately knew it was worse than what they told me. They didn’t have an incident report for me and NEVER sent one, they didn’t even call me to ever check on my child after his accident. My child was being chased by a camp worker and he fell off the slide onto his head and got a concussion. We were in the ER all day watching and monitoring him all while getting tests and scans done. Playgrounds didn’t even offer me a full refund for the cost of the camp and lied about what happened on the incident report.

The place was clean and very affordable, im thinking of celebrating my 3rd bday here. I wasnt able to take pictures since my son and i are having fun running around the place

Great place for playdates and general fun for your kids

It’s a nice place for kiddos, they have so much fun. While you can just sit there and watch them play.

The 0-3 area was so unsafe for babies and toddlers. Adults were wearing their dirty shoes in a crawling area even with a no shoe policy, teenagers were rough housing in the bounce area for babies, and elementary age kids were running rampant in an area designed for crawlers and new walkers with no regard for their safety. Staff is located out front and as soon as they kicked people out (upon request, not on their own volition), they would be right back as soon as staff was out of sight. Area really requires staff monitoring. Very disappointing for my 9 month old and 2 year old.

This is an AWESOME place to bring my grandson, to let him run and play! I wish thered been a place like this for my four when they were little.

First time coming and the kids had a blast. I like the chair setup because you can relax but still watch your kids at the same time. Had my 4 and 1 year old nieces and I just let them run everywhere.

Today was our first visit and the kids had a blast... I can keep an eye on all of my kids while relaxing in the parents lounge...Im a stay at home mom... my kids live for the playground but with covid shutting down all the public playgrounds we have been stuck indoors struggling to find anywhere for them to get out and run. We will definitely be back, often. I recommend this place to any mom or dad looking for a safe, clean place to take your kids...

My boys (ages 7,6,4) really had a blast. The parent lounge area was comfortable for the adults and I really liked how easily I could see the whole play area from there too. Seemed like a really good value compared to other indoor fun places for kids. The staff was friendly also. Will be back!

Ive been coming here regularly for almost two years now. The staff is very sweet and courteous. Its a great establishment for what it offers. You are able to supervise your kiddos while relaxing in a lounging chair and its indoors. Given my experiences there, I highly recommend the place. I will still recommend it. However, I enrolled my toddler who has ASD in the Spring Break Week. I was very clear and specific that he was autistic. They said they would take into account my suggestions and techniques. Sadly, that was not the case. I was never given full factual information as to the incidents that occurred as he socialized with other children. Responses I got were vague and I didnt see it yet they always saw him do something. No factual, detailed information as to what occurrences took place and trajectory that lead to the result. I asked multiple times, I explained that if I knew what truly happened I would discuss it with his ABA Team and Speech Team. I wanted to rectify the situation. Instead, I was told that he just required too much attention and they simply couldnt have him. I totally understand that, from a business standpoint and from a caregiver standpoint. They had over 25 children onsite opening day. Total mayhem. Its a camp; yet no handoff report as to what happens during the day. Did they eat? Why is he in a different outfit? what activities did he engage in. Never had that experience before and no one was really able to do a hand off report. I feel like this is a learning experience for everyone. They should initiate a policy were they are clear about special needs children. If you cannot service children with any type of disability, you should have it on your waivers and online website. Saves everyone the trouble. I am extremely disappointed because I truly like this place. However, I would not recommend it for camps. They should try to sit down and come up with a more organized system while conducting these camps. Thank you for the service provided and best of luck with your business.

This place has fantastic potential and is priced perfectly. The front staff was very nice and they had a decent snack area as well an area for parties and a sitting area for parents with benches throughout various areas.The jungle gym is brilliant and the bouncy houses/slides are exactly what you find at most places like this. There are a few nice extras like a couple arcade games and air hockey, too.So why only 3 stars? Well, cleanliness and some potential dangers are wholly overlooked by the staff. These issues are only compounded by the single floor staff person who is more interested in bouncing balls rather than looking and fixing safety issues and kids who being destructive and abusing rules. They clearly rely exclusively on their waiver.However, fixing safety issues like being more attentive, fixing netting not zipped, removing and replacing crushed and ripped plastic balls with hard and sharp edges, keeping big kids out of toddler section, and keeping the general space cleaner... and replacing the carpet... and you have a 4-5 Star.I still foresee my toddler and I returning.

This is my kids’ favorite play spot in South Tampa and it has been for years! We are always impressed by how clean it is and how friendly and helpful the staff members are. There is something for children of all ages from toddlers on up, and it is a very comfortable space for parents to sit and relax with a snack and a coffee or tea. I was especially impressed with my most recent visit after quarantine; capacity was limited, there was very frequent cleaning, and there are several options to rent the place out for a time slot if you don’t want to be around others. I also felt that the prices were quite reasonable given the extra precautions they are taking. My kids and I highly recommend that you pay playgrounds a visit!

Went in on. Saturday morning before anyone arrived and the toddler area was filthy. Food and crumbs everywhere, balls of hair and dust on many of the structures. This had not been cleaned in days! We will not be returning.

I’m actually very disappointed that I even have to write this review, but I feel completely taken advantage of. First, I’d like to highlight that expectations regarding structure (when to eat, when to come to private room, reserved seating in the lounge area and etc) were never clearly discussed. This was my first time at the establishment and I was disappointed in the lack of customer service and the willingness to rectify damage done. Our pizza and wings were extremely cold when it was time for my party to eat. I ordered 50 wings that were $50 (extremely expensive) and my guests refused to eat them because they were very tough. I had about 40 wings packed up to go because my guests weren’t pleased. In addition, I ordered 5 boxes of pizza and left with 2.5; and I had a party of over 20 guests (mostly adults). My bill was over $300 bucks and the level of service/quality of food did not correspond with money invested. When I emailed Rachel to see if the bill could be adjusted, she told me that the owner refused to adjust the bill because I should’ve notified them the day of the event. Her response makes me upset because upon my departure, I was told by the lady at the front to email/call Rachel if I wanted to provide feedback regarding my experience. Clearly, this place is all about the money.Lastly, I’d like to corroborate recent reviews regarding their exorbitant charges. The amount of money I spent for just 5 children was ridiculous. And what’s even more sad, is that they blame COVID for the increase in prices. But, have they ever thought that while they were blessed enough to reopen their establishment, a myriad of other business couldn’t? They highlight what they lost (money), but how many people lost their lives, jobs, homes, family members, business and etc?! So, please don’t use COVID as a way to justify overcharging your customers. Please count your blessings!!!!

This is hands-down our kids favorite place to spend an afternoon. Safe, clean, well run, and the kids love it. We’ve hosted several birthdays here and they have all gone off without a hitch. If you’re looking for a place to host a birthday party, or just a want to have a fun afternoon, this is where you want to be.

Took my son and some of his friends here recently. It was so nice to have a place for them to run and play on a rainy afternoon. The cleanliness and the safety gate helped me relax while they bounced. The seating for parents is excellent. I could see where they were at all times. I also enjoyed the latte and free wifi. My children and I visited recently. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It had been freshly painted and was bright and cheery. It was apparent that everything had been thoroughly sanitized. Our visit was a much needed reprieve after weeks of quarantine. The kiddos were SO excited about the indoor playground area as well as bounce houses. They had an absolutely wonderful time. I enjoyed relaxing on a couch with a latte. We can’t wait to visit again!

My kids are enjoying with the toys and the place. Its very safe and comfortable. The toys are clean. The venue is well placed and they assured the safety of the kids while playing. The staff was so attentive upon watching over the kids to make sure nothing would happen. This playroom is a must-visit for our little angels.

We recently hosted our son’s second birthday at Playgrounds (private party) and the team made it so easy! It’s a great place to allow the kids to safely run and play without having to hover. The parents were able to chat and enjoy each other while the kids played freely. The private evening party allows more flexibility with what you can bring in, which is really nice. The staff is young but very professional, polite and helpful. We appreciate all of the help to make the party fun, especially Tyler who was extra helpful! Thank you!

So I had my daughters 2nd birthday party at playgrounds of Tampa on 9/19/2020 at 5:30pm I was supposed to be there at 5pm but I was super late I got there exactly at 5:30 and we had to get the room ready quickly before the guests start arriving thanks to my amazing hosts Emmie, Tyler and Keashawn we got the room ready before the guests arrive i want to thank them for all the help they gave me how caring and helpful they were we all had so much fun however I feel like 2 hours wasnt enough time i wish we would have more time to party but we will be back!!!! BEWARE! They are not enforcing social distancing at all. We called ahead to make sure there was no other reservations made in the 0-3 area which they verified we would be the only ones. When we got there, there was other individuals there with a child who was much older than 3. They came into the baby area and when I voiced concern for social distancing I was told if I was concerned I shouldn’t come out in public if I’m scared. It was a terrible experience and a waste of $11. We will not be back. If you are trying to practice r social distancing DO NOT COME HERE.

My daughter and I absolutely loved this place. She loved to spend hours there! The only thing I’d recommend is that the young employees be a little more keen on the sanitation of the park, but other than that it’s a great place to have your kids play and party :)

I took my son here today for the first time and he had a blast! Prices are reasonable and play areas are clean. There’s a snack and refreshment bar for kids and adults and lots of seating for parents to relax while kids exhaust themselves. This is a great place to go if you are looking to escape the rain or heat. We will definitely have to come back.

The staff here are terrible there is teenage red headed kids running around and try to police the area I didn’t pay $26 for my kids to get scrolled by a 15 year old!

Wonderful! Allowed my boys (ages 3 and 9) to burn off some of their endless energy in a cool, fun environment. Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I saw plenty of staff supervision. Also, it looked bright and cheery and offered lots of seating for parents. I only wished they were open later to accommodate working parents. Great experience!

Took my little sister here the other day while I was babysitting her, she’s 6, and she had a blast. Everything was clean and set up nicely. Staff was friendly and very helpful as it was my first time there. Overall a great experience and made the time fly for both Claire and I, she played and I enjoyed a coffee while sitting in one of the many chairs.

We had a great time at a recent birthday party hosted at Playgrounds. My kids (2.5 and 4) loved all the areas and didnt even want to stop playing to eat a piece of cake! We were especially impressed with Elly, she was great with the kids, my son even asked wheres my new friend when Elly wasnt in his sight. I would highly recommend Playgrounds for an afternoon of play and definitely for a birthday party!

Playgrounds of Tampa is absolutely AMAZING! I have a 15 month old son and seeing his face light up as he runs around the 3 and under area makes my day!!! It’s so clean and the coffee is great!!! Not to mention we get out of the Florida heat for a little cool off time. We LOVE playgrounds!!! 💓💓💓

This little South Tampa gem surprises you as soon as you walk in the door. A cute coffee cafe is on the left where you check in with delightful staff, a bench and mesh bags hang from the ceiling on the right for the kids to store their little shoes, and just past this, a hallway with clean bathrooms and plenty of toilets. Then, you walk through a secure gate that opens up into a jumbo room of balls, blowup bounce houses, slides, and party rooms that stretches from the left side of the space all the way to the back. On the right are some comfy couches and dozens of rocking chairs for parents to mingle as they watch the kids have fun. Sometimes Florida is just too hot to do something outside. So if you’re looking for an indoor location where your kids can still be active, try Playgrounds!

Best kid birthday party EVER. Ordering food to be brought in was super easy, the staff handles it all for you, the menu caters to kids and adults (we had pizza, baked ziti, antipasto salad, and chicken wings, wraps and other things are also available), and the staff even helped me figure out how much food to order for the number of kids and adults coming, which totally saved me a lot of stress. Playgrounds staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, too. They set up my decorations and party-favor-bags before I got there and did a great at it (I dropped off my own decorations a few days before the party, but I think you can pay a small fee and they will even supply the decorations), they put the birthday presents in my car for me after all of the guests had arrived while I was mingling with the guests, which was really nice. The parents were able to relax in comfortable leather loungers and talk among ourselves while the kids ran freely through all of the bounce houses and other play stations (they even reserved us an area with some loungers and a coffee table in the main room where the parents could sit together). When the food arrived, they set it up without needing any direction from me and they rounded up the guests to head into our private party room at just the right time for everyone to eat lunch, have a pinata activity, and eat cake. They kept track of the timing for when we should start each event and easily directed the group into the next activity, giving a few minutes warning each time so as not to interfere with the moment. They served the kids slices of pizza, then they held the pinata up on the end of a pole (not an easy thing to do, pinatas are heavier than they look), they served the cupcakes and I was free to take photos and just enjoy everything, for the first time ever! THEN, and this was so wonderful - they packed up all of the leftover food and put it in my car! The main room has an area for kids 3 and under as well as some big slides for older kids, so everyone was happy. I was able to socialize the WHOLE time and never had to lift a finger or worry about anything or look at my watch. We will definitely be back here for the next party, and some of my guests even commented that they are going to have their kids parties at Playgrounds of Tampa!

Playgrounds of Tampa is a perfect destination for energetic toddlers. There are lots of activities from huge inflatable slides to multiple bounce houses to a two-story play center with slides, tubes, ball pits, and more. The name play(grounds) is likely a pun in reference to their gourmet coffee bar featuring lattés, cappuccinos, and the like. Like any successful concept of this type, they cater to adults as much as kids with an emphasis on safety, comfortable seating areas, WiFi, and better-than-expected coffee. They also host birthday parties and offer memberships. Great place. We bring both of our children often even though it is a considerable drive. We pass a few other play places on the way. :)

Great place to take the kids and do laptop work. They just run around in a variety of bounce houses in a big open room. There is a fitting area for parents and they do birthdays. The also serve coffee and other food and drink at reasonable prices.

While visiting my sister in tampa we attended a birthday party at Playgrounds of Tampa. After the party we talked about how their staff made the planning, execution and clean-up of the party simple, is an understatement! The staff emailed and called our friends leading up to the party to iron out all the details. We are all busy parents, so the simplicity of the process and the suggestions that they were able to make. On the day of the party, the staff greeted us and made us feel welcomed. The kids had a blast, as always, bouncing and running around the entire place. When it was time to eat, they rounded up our guests and we sat down for pizza and cake in our own decorated party room. During the party, our party host had even taken all of the gifts out to the car! Thinking back to years past and hosting parties at our own house, I wish we would have had this by our house. You will save so much time from buying decorations, cleaning your house, setting up, providing an activity or entertainment, then taking everything down, cleaning up again, etc… Well worth it!

Our family was in town and found this gem. Wish we had one like this back home. I would say this is more of a toddler up to age 9 indoor playground. Snack bar for drinks, small snacks, & specialty coffees. Great recliners in the middle for the parents to relax while still in view of the kids area. Super clean. Staff was helpful & friendly. There are bounce houses, indoor playground, a floor game room & a baby/toddler area. Deff gotta check it out!

My kids love it here, bounce houses everywhere, and I can relax while they play. My only con would be they dont have caffeinated tea, but you can bring your own tea bag from home. My son loved his birthday party there last year well probably do it again this year too.

Lots of fun for the kids and great coffee for the parents. Snacks and juices are available as well. Been coming here fir s couple of years and have only seen a couple of times were there my were understaffed and a little overwhelmed. Most of the time everything runs smooth.

I love this place for many reasons, but the best one imo is the fact that I can sit and read on the tablet while my kids have fun playing and whenever I need to spot them I don’t even have to get up. No matter what seat I pick, I can view where and what my kids are doing. Second favorite would be that my kids always go to bed easily after spending a few hours here.

Was disappointed when I first showed up because the website didn’t say anything about being closed at a certain time for a private party ( I had traveled an hour with three young children) . Other than that the employees are wonderful! The girls and myself had a great time! Plenty to do for young children for a couple hours. Relaxing environment. I liked the fact that they have rocking chairs. I have an 8month old that still nurses and needs to nap.

My two year old was knocked down & pushed over several times, so we cut our visit short. Made the staff aware, but they did nothing. Once again great for young kids, be careful with a toddler.

The kids love it. I have to sit there while they play, so finding cool things for the parents to do is a bit of a challenge. Thank goodness for brain sucking electronic hand held devices! Also, sometimes I see people I know, so talking to them is also not out of the question.

Coffee was surprisingly good. Not the best in town, obviously, but not bad. A latte and entrance for a toddler was about 12 bucks...not bad also. They had an area for 3 and under which was nice because some of the older kids can be rough. The kid loved it, a nice place for a rainy day or just to grab a coffee with a rambunctious kid...

We had my sons birthday party there and the experience was wonderful! The staff was so helpful and went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend it for birthday parties!! Best experience

My son’s party Saturday was amazing. I am a control freak and this is the first time I have had a party at a facility instead of the park. Averi, our party host, was excellent! She made sure we had plenty of time, helped with decorations, served cake, found one kids parents and made sure everyone had food. She had everything under control and allowed me to enjoy my sons birthday!All the kids had so much fun and that was thanks to Averi and the Playgrounds staff.My only complaint is that the party does not come with pizzas for the parents.

Clean and very good layout for parents to watch the kids while checking their phones or do some work at their computers. Free WiFi. Coffee water and good available for purchase.My kids had fun for couple hours.They also have parents night out and summer camps.

What a genius idea, so simple but great for kids. I like the lounge chairs and couches. My son had a blast there, and I was inside relaxing on the couch.

This place is awesome! You can lounge while watching your kids run and play. Perfect play area for my 2 year old and so much fun for my 3 year old. Not to mention that the latte I had was delicious. They let you bring in your own snacks and you can easily stay for hours. Only downfall is that its not closer.

Very clean and lots of fun, and most importantly.. Safe! We loved it!! 😊

First place if its kind that Ive tried. Very cool! Comfortable for the parents and a blast for the kids. Simple but fun. Like hanging out in a really big living room that happens to have 5 bounce houses and a jungle gym in the middle of it.Their cold brew is pretty badass too!

This place was a blast for my 2 and 6 year old. Its clean, safe, has wifi, and conducive to a stress free play date. Bathrooms have changing tables and a cafe is available for snacks and coffee.
