This is a great coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly. There were two guys working when we went. Super nice and helpful. They have plenty of options when it comes to coffee and pastries. There is plenty of room inside and even has outdoor seating. They also have other things for sale like gifts, wine, and more. I would definitely return.

Super friendly staff, love the out door seating!! And there’s a big table inside as well. The latte I had was great, the sandwich was alright - lacking on the meat. They’re pre-made and then they press them so you can’t modify. There’s a smoothie acai bowl store right next store that was amazing!

Oh. My. Heavens. My mouth was so happy here! DI Coffee Bar made me smile😁I was visiting a friend on Davis Island in Tampa and craved a morning coffee. They suggested DI. It was one of those morning that call to you so I walked the block and 1/2 to DI Coffee. Now, if you haven’t been to Davis island, it’s niiiice and the area around DI is very sweet, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Anyway, the latte here is hand-crafted and, as I expected, yummy. I also spied a pastry and was told it was guava, that they were ‘known’ for them. Naturally I had to try that! It was delivered to me warm and people, you want to swallow your tongue? Go right now to DI Coffee and get a guave pastry and a coffee.Bottom line? If you find yourself on Davis Island and DI Coffee Bar is open, go OUT OF your way to get there!

Great service and coffee. Recently renovated the inside space with more merchandise and wine pours and a more diverse menu. Outside behind the building is now a nice patio area away from street noise. Call me a regular! Love it here.

Ive had a better Cafe Con Leche. Also, the staff wasnt very friendly. They didnt greet me when I went inside, and offered no assistance when I told them it was my first time there. I had heard good things so ultimately, Im disappointed.

I live on Davis Island, and walk to this coffee bar often! Hands-down the BEST breakfast burrito in the entire world, and the friendliest and most helpful staff ever! Great menu selections, relaxing atmosphere, and awesome staff - all you could ever want from a coffee bar! I believe there is also an extensive wine collection inside and am looking forward to exploring it more!

This is an adorable coffee shop tucked in on Davis Island. Coffee and yummy treats in the morning and wine and charcuterie in the afternoon.Everyone is super nice and the coffee is Panther coffee, freshly roasted.The snacks and treats are fresh and tasty.They carry lots of local fun things for sale. Candles, cups, shirts and notebooks.Long wooden tables are fab for communal chatting, a few small tables for a work spot and an outdoor bar to sit outside.Its a must try.

I had the cold brew coffee and it was REALLY good. The food is mostly very good but the price I paid for the sausage egg and cheese burrito wasnt worth the size it. They were busy post-superbowl so some of the service was lacking; I got my food before my coffee, but its excusable given their volume. Very good Cuban sandwich, too!

I used to visit Buddy Brew regularly. After years of patronage the staff was exactly 0% friendlier to me than they were on day 1. Barely even a hello. I am now a regular at Davis Island coffee and this place freakin rocks. The peeps are always cool and Ive enjoyed everything Ive ever ordered, both food and drink. Ive had everything from their Arnold Palmers to foofy ice coffees to hair-on-your-chest black coffee and everything is super bitchin. Keep it up!

One of my all-time favorite coffee shops. The coffee is great, but the character of the place is one-of-a-kind. Service is always really quick and the baristas are very friendly and talented. They love seeing my dog Thor and he gets a treat every time. A great place to meet people, go to work on something, or just hang out.

The aesthetic is a mix of rustic wood and fresh decor. Unique little spot, great for studying or coffee with friends. Sandwich I ordered was yummy! Personable staff, takes the time to get to know you and make you feel welcomed.It looks like you can also order alcoholic beverages in the evening, and get cute little cheese plates and such to go with it. If youre there at night, you should know that, but its also not in your face.Parking was very limited.

First time here - for sure wont be the last. Im a die-hard Panther Coffee fan and so when I find a place that uses Panther I get very excited. Wonderful location with a really cool interior space that not only sells great coffee, espresso, and bakery items, but also trinkets, stationary, wine, and many other useful or creative items. And - the most important part - the espresso was absolutely stellar. These guys know what to do with high quality coffee beans.

We live in Western, CO and made the awesome mistake of just stopping in at random on Vacation. I miss there cuban coffee everyday, its unbelievable!

Very nice coffee spot. Out front, curbside tables, nice laidback scene, cool for people watching, doing some work on your laptop. Inside is very boutique-ish with some funky retro chairs and rustic wood feel. The staff is always great, very friendly and personable. Great Cuban Caprese! My only issues: The coffee is consistently a bit weak and watery. I always have to get an added espresso shot to get it to a strong coffee level. Also, depending on whos working, they sometimes crank the music up too loud. Everyone in there is trying to do work or read, just a little awareness needed.

Came with a friend, and had some great coffee and conversation. wonderful espresso and lots of space to sit and relax, talk, or study. definitely coming back soon!

Awesome place, great coffee, their di sandwich and Cuban toast is unbelievable. Wanted to give 4 stars because they need to get their phone orders in order, have had multiple times where they say 10 minutes on the phone but ends up being closer to 20/30. They get busy so I totally understand a wait, but they gotta know that and give better estimates! But the coffe, food, and how nice the staff is is just can’t hit the 4 star.

One of the best coffee shops in Tampa as far as overall environment. Busy with most seats taken yet still comfortable and reasonably chill. Lots of people on lap tops. Clientelle is diverse though skews heavily younger. The ambiance from the place and the neighborhood are nice. My decaf cappuccino was ok. My breakfast sandwich coissant was decent.

There are 100 coffee places to choose from that offer great coffee. Not every great coffee places staff stands out as much as DIs staff. they are always smiling and making sure that you feel more than just a customer.

This place is absolutely awesome. The caprese cuban is fire and the coffe always tastes great. Their team goes above and beyond to make customers happy and its a super cool atmosphere. Great spot to hang out or to do some work. This is one of the best cafes in Tampa, hands down. I highly recommend it.

Good coffee, but there were flies everywhere inside. Couldn’t sit inside to get any work done, and it was so hot outside. Overall, cute place but they definitely should do something about the fly situation.

Very nice place, beautiful decor, good atmosphere. I’m in love with all the cute stuff they sell. Food is pretty good as well, although lattes are not that good and everything is a bit expensive. The staff needs to be more friendly and needs to pay more attention to the customers and their orders. A lot of times I had to wait for my food for 10-15 minuets, and not because the cafe was busy but because the staff forgot about my order and wasn’t taking care of it the whole time. Every time I came to the register to ask where my order was I didn’t get any apology.

Love this locally owned gem. Was missing a coffee shop on the island until this one opened now making Davis Islands simply perfect. Loved that it is locally owned and that everyone knows your name if you frequent the place.

Ive lived in the Tampa Bay Area for years. Davis Island is my favorite place and it needed a hip and comfortable coffee shop. DI Coffee Bar absolutely nailed it. Amazing snacks, and the vibe is great. Nothing like it on Davis Island.

We love this local coffee shop located in the quaint village of Davis Island, the staff makes it feel like family, and take pride in the products they serve. The DI Breakfast sandwich is a must have bringing the tastes of Tampa to breakfast with a pressed Cuban toast shell and fresh tomato, onion and egg. Interior is thoughtfully decorated with an outside bar and seating area as well.

I would definitely come again, and I recommend it to everyone. Very good coffee! Small, intimate place.

Always good, not always consistent in food and service. Weekday service is a w e s o m e, weekend not so much.Im kind of picky when it comes to produce, I like it ripe, the avacado can be crunchy and barely red tomatoes...but that is very few and far between.They promote local businesses and I love that too.Great place!

Place is clean and outside they have heaters for the winter and fans/mister for the Summer. Cold Brew is very strong which I like. Cuban toast is amazing. They have local music play sometime. Friendly baristas and some good coffee. Maybe not the best Ive ever had, but it was good. Comfortable atmosphere for working on school or work, and of course, free wifi. Definitely a smaller place, probably seating inside for 15-20 people, and a few seats outside. Dogs are welcomed on the patio.

The atmosphere is great and all but the people working there are low key rude. Whenever it comes to closing time, they get very nasty with customers in a way that they won’t kick them very gracefully. I understand you have to leave, but when somebody comes for help or questions, no need for the cold shoulders. Witnessed this several times..
