Man the food in this spot was great!!!. The Cafe con Leche was exquisite. No wait time to get in, nothing fancy but they got the food and the service right. Thats whats important. I would give this place 4 stars but for the plastic/ styrofoam wear for in house customers.Trust me I get it but pre or post Covid thats not economical. Your food is great show it off on real plates.

I’ve been here a few times and each time has been above average in taste.Picadillo- Absolutely delicious. This was not overly salty which is common in restaurants picadillo but this was flavourful with Pugh dehydrating you! 5/5Yellow rice- this was an optional side. It was great, paired well with the picadillo. On its own, it was a little dry....maybe I didn’t get the freshest rice. 4/5.Black bean Soup- this was an optional side. Delicious on its own and on top of the rice. Not overly salty also. 5/5Salad- this was an optional side. This was not very flavourful with whatever dressing they provided. 3/5Spaghetti with Jaiba sauce (daily special)- I was not a fan of this. It was fishy in flavour. I would not take this again. Luckily it’s not permanently on their menu. 2/5Mofongo with shrimp in sauce- I don’t know why I expected this to be mixed in with the mofongo. The shrimp was “seafood boil” in flavour, which is not my favourite. The mofongo was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and came with butter with garlic in it. It came also with this cold soup/broth which I had no idea what to do with it. I drank it and did not like it. I then poured it into the mofongo and it added a little bit more flavour but I did not add the whole thing. I’d probably get it with pork the next time.3/5Ropa Vieja Sandwich (no picture)- it was a good sandwich but the meat was a bit tougher than I would have liked. But the flavour was there. 4/5

It was OK. Cuban bread was too thin for my liking, the ham was lunch meat, and the pancake reminded me of the frozen type. My coffee, eggs and potatoes were spot on delicious. Would had preferred my utensils, plate, and cup to be the real deal.

Got breakfast take out this morning for the office. We got bacon egg and cheese on Cuban toast. Everyone in the office was satisfied and I enjoyed mine as well. I got the large and it was huge for a decent price. We will return

Food is good, Idk why restaurants have such a difficult time cooking eggs properly but this place is a true definition of bang for your buck! Its getting 3 stars from me simply because they give you styrofoam plates and placate cups and utensils. Even WAY before covid. A lot of reviews are reducing stars just because of this. Styrofoam is wack and just hire a dish washer if you guys want to improve your ratings and growth. Come on, guys you do have time to correct this.

Food is very cheap so its great for that. Not sure the eggs were real. Service is quick so definitely an option for a quick and cheap morning. I would rather have fresh food over fast.

They have very good breakfast sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches, and cafe con leche. Ive never even gotten their meals because I like their sandwiches so much. I get take out now but did used to like to go there to dine in. Its a very casual place filled with regulars but all are welcome.

This is my daughter and I favorite breakfast spot. This is our go to place. Cafe con Leche esta perfectoo, atleast to me it is! I like the plastic wear, remind me of most cafeterias, also makes it even more pandemic friendly. No twice used utensil. Food always comes super hot, I get the Bowls and the home frie I have to wait for it to cool off how fresh it is. Thank you guys so much for your shop.

The food and service are not what they used to be. Ive been coming here for years and I am so disappointed. I waited 22 minutes for someone to come and greet us and take our drinks and order. I also knew exactly what I wanted and ordered immediately but it still took 40 minutes for the food to come out. Then I asked for syrup, ketchup, and hot sauce, but she never came back to our table so we ate without it. At the end, I finally saw her walking by and I asked for a box and again, it was never brought to the table. So after 10 more minutes I went up to the counter and paid and thats when she tried handing me the box. Terrible service and the eggs looked fake and tasted like it was from concentrate out of a box.

I love to go here for the special breakfast, 2 eggs, sausage, Cuban toast and Café de latche. I believe they have the best flan I have ever eaten. So with a follow-up of that I am set until dinner.

I love this place. Service is great and the café con leche is delicious. I usually order the chicken and beef empanadas which are so savory. The Cuban Toast with Cinnamon-Sugar is to fire for!

Great food and coffee with friendly staff. Prices are a bit high for the food they give you, but the coffee is the main reason to go.

Low class service, food is cheap quality and served on foam plates with plastic utensils. Pancakes was cooked with low quality batter. The waitress did not bring syrup when pancakes were served. I had to ask twice for it to be brought to my table. LOW BUDGET FOOD AND SERVICE.

No greeter. Staff members walked by me several times while I was looking at the menu no one acknowledge me, received my order in paper plate and plastic ware which I hate. Omelette was overdone and flavorless.

Favorite Cafe to eat a quick hot, affordable breakfast with Cuban coffee!! Cafe Caribe has authentic flavors and honestly the BEST Cuban coffee Ive tasted in Tampa!! We love to eat here at least once a week, its so yummy!! And the prices and specials are unbeatable!! Only downside is during the rush times, you may have to wait for a table to leave because this place is so good its always busy! Servers are friendly and welcome you! Maggie is my favorite server, she is awesome!!

I very much enjoy this Cafe. A very popular place for people to gather in groups or individually. The cafe latte is awesome. The breakfast special is my favorite. Everyone is so pleasant and remembers my face and my favorite order.

The food ordered through Uber was pretty good. The food was prepared and delivered quickly. The eggs, toast and bacon tasted fine. The pancakes, however, were terrible. They had a freezer burn taste. I had to spit it out.

My favorite Cuban in Tampa Bay. Staff has gotten better, more attentive, better English (I dont care if they speak English, Spanish, Arabic, or Swedish, I just care that they understand that I want extra pickles on my Cuban and no tomato).The wait time on food used to be long consistently long, that was about two years ago. These days there are no such concerns, in fact, the complete opposite. Youll barely have gotten started on your cafe con leche and your food is there!Wonderful atmosphere, hoping they expand into an adjacent unit someday so its not so crazy at breakfast time.

Amazing Cuban Food & Coffee

I have been driving by this place for years and finally stopped there a couple of weeks at the suggestion of a friend. I really wish I would have stopped here sooner. The food and the cafe are no frills but good down to earth yummy cooking. Their breakfast is solid $5 bucks get you a hearty breakfast and cafe con leche. We are talking potatoes, eggs, meat and cheese. Good stuff.

This is a very cute little cafe. It has a NY bagel shop feel to it with a dining room. They have a great breakfast menu with lots of good food to choose from. If you want it delivered, they do food delivery via Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Doordash, etc. Dont park in Broken Yolks parking lot. Broken Yolks will tow your car.

Cozy, very neat little place that will have you coming back for a weekly Saturday or Sunday visit. Looks like it is very popular with the locals from around the area that it feels as if the staff already know what they want when they walk through the door.My favorite thing to have is their breakfast special that it consists of a cuban toast with butter, two eggs, your choice of meat and delicious café con leche. Best part, its about $6!The service is very fast (at least for two people). You walk in, sit yourself and in less than a minute, your waiter will be there to take your order. The staff is also very friendly here.I would recommend for you to give it try!

This is a place you go and have a good cafe con leche, coffee with milk, and... a sandwich, but dont expect 5 star food restaurant, this is very homey restaurant, people tent to spent more time sitting on their table just chatting, even if theres not more food on the table., nobody is rushing you, you just take your time 😊 and enjoy it.Ive been a regular for long time and I also recommend to many friends. Im not so sure about meals in here, Im Latin but not a big fan of the meals in general, thats why I only recommend sandwich.

Good food and great service. Cant beat a full breakfast with coffee for $6. Taking one star off because they dont use real turkey meat in the Turkey sandwich, only the fake super thin slice. Other than that, their croquetas and coffee is on point.A-

The turkey sandwich was SO DRY, not even any lettuce or tomatoes, (it doesnt say it comes with it) but they could have at least pressed the sandwich. It was just plain Winn-Dixie turkey meat with dry, stiff Cuban bread. Im so disappointed. Im so mad I paid $17 for this. & for them to be in THIS neighborhood... I expect way more. Not to mention... the grilled chicken salad had rotten cucumbers!!! Beyond gross. And it wasnt ANY chicken in the salad. Horrible! So I pressed the sandwich at home, and added my own toppings. Sweet tea was great! Plantains were cold! Im ALL for small businesses but this place? I wont be ordering again.

We ordered Breakfast and they forgot one of the orders. On the 2 orders delivered they had uncooked sausages. When I called the lady on the other end was speaking to me half English n spanish first of all. Very unprofessional! She wanted me to go pick up the order they left behind(which was delivered thru Uber) or get credit for it. I asked to speak to a manager which was no help at all. When I was speaking to the manager the spanish lady kept talking next to him letting him what my options where. They made a huge mess and told me to call UBER FOR A REFUND. The food that we did get got cold from being on the phone with the restaurant. They have Terrible customer service!!! The manager needs some training and the spanish lady has no businesses working with people! She was so rude. Remember I paying for my services, they are not free!
