Awesome concept. Horrible execution. Upon walking in, was told that it would be a 45 min wait for food. It would be nice if people who drove to your stores actually had the priority similar to wright gourmet house down the street then your Uber eats orders. Not a great first impression but hope to be back when I can walk in and grab something to eat quickly.

Great bagel place. When you go there, they have a window inside the building where you can see how they bake their bagels. I love their rainbow bagel, it has a unique color. Other than that it tastes the same as a plain bagel. I love their coffee, it tastes great and instead of ice, they use ice cubes of coffee. It is pretty crowded during the weekend. There is not a lot of parking spaces, that might be a little bit challenging to find a space for your car.

The outside flavor was pretty good but was expecting a NYC bagel of a nice fresh crispy outside and more of a soft inside but this was very dense.

I had business in the South Dale Mabry area for a couple years and have always wanted to try 18 Bagels. I was not disappointed. There was a great selection of bagels and so much more and all baked in-house. Check out their menu online. The staff was super friendly and made it a pleasant visit. I will definitely be back.

Excellent service but bagel didnt match up to the Gold Standard -- Long Island bagels.

Everytime I order from here it seems to take forever for a toasted bagel and cream cheese. I decided to order pickup hoping it would be easier and quicker. I was notified that my order was ready via my phone, although they ended up losing the order and didnt even know what I had ordered. After 15 minutes from my pickup time I received my single bagel and cream cheese. Once I got home I noticed that cream cheese was covered in pepper and unedible. Do not reccomend unless you are not in a rush and eating at their restaraunt.

18 bagels co was fantastic. The bagels compliment your tastebuds & the iced coffee bar is the neatest thing I’ve seen yet. I love this place & will definitely be revisiting often for breakfast.

I’m giving a low two star review because of service. Absolutely horrible. Service is half the battle for me and if I could a 1/2 star more I would. They have maybe one or two people in the back preparing food and the rest are just kind of standing around not knowing what to do. Some folks were waiting 30 - 45 minutes just for a one bagel w/ cream cheese. Absolutely unacceptable. I went to the counter to ask about an order and there were two girls just staring at me, debating who would come and help. Took a couple minutes before they stopped giggling and approached me. I will not be back.

Tampa doesnt have a lot of great bagel places, and this is one of the few. Its okay for when youre wanting a bagel sandwich, but the bagels are really dense, nothing like something you would find in NYC or NJ that are fluffy on the inside and have a great outer crust, but it will satisfy a craving.

Love the coffee here!! Great bagels too. The draft options for cold brew along with the coffee cubes are next level on a hot day!

Had a good selection of bagel flavors along with cream cheeses and other goodies. Bagels were not quite as good as I was expecting - a little more dense and chewy than I would have thought. Great service and a nice place to have breakfast

Just order to hear from Uber eats and I ordered three bagels with vegan cream cheese. The bagels had barely any cream cheese and took two hours to get here. when I come here in person I love it and they put a good amount of cream cheese and everything taste perfect but today on Uber eats this was not my experience and I’m not sure if I will be ordering from here again.

I would describe it as airport quality food, serviceable, in a kind of microwaved frozen egg sort of way, coffee bar is a nice idea, very long wait for my simple order but Im sure that varies

Edit from previous post: we decided to give them another shot after a couple of bad orders. Theyve picked their quality back up dramatically. Glad to have the old 18 bagel back for Saturday morning breakfast.

Wow what find! The food is really fresh and has cool items like french toasted bagel. Even has an ice machine that dispencea coffee ice cubes to not water down your coffee. Clean and nicely decorated.

18 Bagels is a great place. Never been there before it is clean open and welcoming. Love bagels especially good ones and these were super. The female staffer was helpful and cheerful. Coffee self serve which I like because I know exactly how I like it was delicious. Good prices -great place!

We were really looking forward to trying this place.We placed a $100 order through Door Dash and the order was never received. We contacted the driver who claimed to have waited 30 mins for the order that was never made. Tried to call the store but no one picked up the phone after a couple of attempts. Pretty sad to see service like this.

Man when it comes the the details this place has them all covered. This is hands down my favorite coffee/bagel spot in FL. Staff is so dang nice and helpful. Thanks for being my breakfast go to!!!

The food here is not the issue. The bathroom was like walking into the twighlight zone. Ill lit, dirty and holes in the walls with a sink that looked less sanitary than anything else in the room. The beverage machines were covered with soda, ice and garbage like straws. For a crowded place with a large amount of staff, it should be more welcoming and clean.

Delicious and fresh bagels. Cream cheese was also delicious. Great, friendly service. Will definitely be back!

I’m new to the Tampa area and wanted to check out 18 bagel Co. I arrived just before noon placed an order for a build your own sandwich and one bagel. 40 minutes later I still had not received my order and it was going to be another long 20+ minute wait before I was going to get it. Although the staff was apologetic it is completely ridiculous that at the front counter we weren’t told that there was a long wait and our order was still taken. I will not be returning to this establishment! Never received my sandwich but did receive a refund. Annoyed that my time was wasted and didn’t get my food!!!!

5 stars for the girl with curly hair working as a cashier. She was super friendly and helpful. She has a beautiful smile even under the mask. 0 stars for the girl in the back with the long braids. She kept taking her phone out of her pocket and not washing her hands. She was also wiping her forehead with her hand under her hat. Still no hand washing. The last thing she did was pick something up from the floor that fell from her pocket when she was getting her phone out and walked right past the hand sink. I likr this place and I just want the team to know that customers are watching even when they dont realize it. I hope this helps.

My visit was unexpected, I was hungry and it was breakfast time. Let me just say that the iced coffee self-serve is amazing, and a vest variety of bagels is a treat. Still have not tried everything on the menu but so far its my number one breakfast spot.

Clean environment, very organized, the cashier doesnt suggest anything though, I had a small coffee and a plain bagel with cream cheese, still pricey, but overall good

18 bagels has the best bagels I’ve ever had, but what makes this place even more incredible is their cold brew. They have cold brew on tap with COFFEE ICE CUBES so it doesn’t water down as the ice melts. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

Terrible bagels and worse service. Showed up at 2:30pm and they closed at 3pm. They asked if we wanted to eat there or take to go, and we chose to stay. Food came out in a bag at 2:52pm and they basically kicked us out. We explained that we would have gone somewhere else if we could not eat there, and they told us to go eat outside. I knew that I should not go back to this place because of the terrible food, but this put the nail in the coffin.

Waited 45 minutes for dry burnt bagels and the coffee cube machine was broken. Watery bland iced coffee with no sugar available so she handed us Splenda packets. The bagels seriously taste like they were left out for 3 days on a plate and definitely overcooked. Hard and stale.

First time in. They burnt my asiago bagel and sent me on my way. Didnt realize till I got to work.

The menu is decent as far as selection, but the food just isnt worth the money. I could get the same thing somewhere else for half the price. They also didnt have what I wanted to order because they ran out, so I ordered something else. I ordered hot coffee which is self serve and the container was empty. I waited until I was about to leave before I could get coffee and the house blend was bland. $35 for two people, and I was still hungry when I left. The more I eat out, the more I realize I should just save my money and cook at home. I could have made something better at home for about $7 and still had leftovers. I try to support the industry especially during these hard times, but I work hard for my money too and it ticks me off when I feel like Im being overcharged and still not happy with what I ate.

Not a very pleasant experience. I ordered my food today, paid almost 20 bucks for it. I stepped back and waited for my order. Fast forward to about 6 minutes later, I finally politely (mind you!) Asked them if theyre going to be much longer. There was employee who gave me a nasty look for just asking politely? Her hair was all out too. Dont know if Ill be coming here anytime soon!

Totally disappointed today. Weve been here several times and today was the worst service ever! Not sure if we will come back. We ordered 18 bagels to go with nothing on them, just cut. Simple order. We waited over 10 min to place the order and then another 25 min to get the order. I get it that other people were in front of us but that doesnt excuse how long it took to fill the order. There were at least 4 people in the back filling orders. The inside was packed with people waiting and no social distancing at all. It will be a long time before we return here!

Great Iced Coffee and sandwiches. I have stopped there a few times and loved the place. I love the coffee iced cubes as well they have.

Big fan of the self serve draft cappuccino and coffee ice cubes! I am gluten free so I wish there was more options for me personally but it is a bagel place and they have egg scramblers that are delicious and gluten free so I will take it. My kiddos love the rainbow and other holiday themed plain bagels.

I have been here twice and dont think I will come back. I wanted to like this place but the bagels and cream cheese just left me disappointed The first time I ordered a few bagels to take home and I was not excited by any of them (plain, everything, garlic and unicorn). The second time I tried an onion Bagel and cold coffee and ate at the restaurant. I did really like the coffee area. They have frozen coffee to use as ice cubes, different syrups and a good tasting cold brew. Again the bagel was disappointing in flavor. Also it wasnt toasted very much and lacked in cream cheese. I do have to commend the blond lady who was an awesome worker. She is very friendly and was working hard to explain things and keep everything clean. I wish I knew her name but she had a long blond ponytail and is not very tall and looks very fit. She is amazing!

Waited 25 minutes for 2 toasted bagels and scrambled eggs. Bagels were kind of hard. Asked the lady for an update and she walked right past me. I get they were busy and probably stressed but I wasn’t the only one feeling like the wait was a little ridiculous for what we ordered.

This place has an awesome atmosphere. It is clean neat and very progressive. You can see the bagels being made in front of you as well as them being true to their name of having 18 different styles of bagels. I definitely recommend this place for a midday meeting or a quick snack. I had the bagels and they were quite good.

Usually pretty good. Just went today and bagel was half-burnt, and they definitely skimped on the cream cheese. Come on, don’t send us home with disappointing bagels in these times!

I love these bagels, I just wish they were more consistent.. also this place is literally never busy, but somehow still take forever to slice a bagel.. you can see into the kitchen and there is always only one person actually making bagels while another 4 are just running around or standing there.. there is no hustle or respect for the customers time.

They have really good coffee here today was my first day and I really enjoyed it Ill definitely never be going back to dunkin or anywhere else.They actually got coffee ice cubes which I thought was pretty cool. Definitely give this place a try you wont regret it.

I’m 50/50 for this place because the bagels are good but the wait time almost makes me not want to go there.the bagels are a good size (multigrain my fav). The cream cheese spreads are good (jalapeño spread is my fav). Doesn’t matter if you walk in and order 16 bagels (I even tell them whatever they have) or one bagel, it takes FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!

Waited, and waited and waited. More then 30 minutes for bagels, I got the wrong order twice. Wouldnt recommend ever coming back here especially ifMake sure you ask them if they Infact used vegan cream cheese if you ordered it. Especially if you are lactose intolerant.My 2 wrong order both had regular cream cheese on them. I dont know how they can confuse it. They dont even mark the ones that have vegan cream cheese so whats the point.Might aswell just go to dunking donuts.

We placed an order for 18 bagels to go. The bagels here are the best in the area but were waiting for over 25 minutes just to get the order. This 25 plus minutes is after waiting on line to place an order. Honestly, they are very disorganized if they cant serve 18 bagels with nothing on them in a speedier fashion.

I wasn’t totally impressed with the bagels because they were not like NY style. But they are still a place to go to if you want bagels.

So the bagels are great, but horrible customer service. Which may run this place into the ground because the people working in the back have no sense of urgency... there is no line, but people waiting 20-30 minutes for a bagel or sandwich. Management needs to check in on them....

Bring back Brooklyn bagels Co! I went to 18 Bagels this morning and ordered a few bagels to go. Got home and everyone of them were over cooked and like chewing on rubber!!! So disappointed!

Good bagels had a egg sandwich the only thing is they only have scrambled eggs no whole eggs for sandwiches. Very busy place I recommend you call your order in ahead or order online if you dont want to wait.

So having consumed many excellent bagels whilst living in NYC, Im always comparing local versions against that standard. 18 bagels comes pretty close.I tried the pumpernickel and the everything. The pumpernickel was good texture wise but weak in flavor.The everything bagel was pretty good. No paroxysm of joy, but a competent bagel.Service was quick and friendly. I walked in and ordered the bagels to go with no preparation. Took them home, popped them into the toaster and added my own vegan cream cheese. 18 bagels does offer vegan cream cheese by the way. So thats another plus.Update: I went back for more. Waited what seemed a long time for a simple bag of unsliced and untoasted bagels. Almost every person behind me received their order before me. Why?

They have pretty good bagels, a little dense. The jalapeno cream cheese was underwhelming. I expected some zest or even a hint of spice, but it tasted like it was just plain cream cheese with chunks of jalapeno mixed in.

The iced coffee is PHENOMENAL. A must try breakfast spot.

What I saw when visiting this place was horrific. Employees touching their face masks and wiping down dirty surfaces, then returning to the kitchen to handle food without washing hands or wearing gloves. Please be weary when visiting this place If you decide to visit.

This place is great. I am surprised to see so many negative reviews. The bagels are all made their fresh and taste fantastic. The place is very nice and the employees are very friendly. I will definitely be going again and recommend it to anyone looking for a real bagel place.

Over priced, very slow service and not good quality bagels. Bagel tasted stale. Schmear didnt have a lot of flavor. Took 10 minutes after I ordered just to get my order. Not worth the wait.

Its is a very open, bright and very clean. Staff is busy but efficient. My favorite item is their Reuben. It is a big sandwich but so so good! They do take out and again, very efficient. Ive heard it is run well by mgmt. Very important. I recommend.

This is only my second time having 18 bagel co delivered. I think their bagels have good flavor. The everything is coated well. The jalapeño cheddar bagel was perfect. This second time I got an ice coffee- and omg I loved it- it was really yummy I got caramel. Thank you 18 bagel co!

More like 8 bagels. They barely had any options and once we took a bite out of our bagels we threw them right in the trash. Waste of money, they tasted stale and just off in general. Waste of money.

This was my first time here. Asked for pumpernickel toasted crispy. Received blueberry and it wasn’t crispy. It was a to go order.

I’m from New Jersey, so I know what good bagels are, and these are pretty close to the ones in jersey! The staff is super courteous, the coffee is to die for, and all the food is really good!! The only bad reviews are from the dumb rich south Tampa people that have an actual stick up their ass at all times. 5 stars!!!

This was my first time here with my family. Very messy. Tables were not wiped down at all and the floors in the main dining room full of food particles and trash. The coffee service bar was also dirty and hadn’t been cleared regularly of debris. Service was unfriendly. They were backed up due to lunch rush and it was obvious the cashier would have preferred that the customers leave vs waiting in line. Bathrooms also a mess with papers towels and trash cans overflowing. Very disappointing especially considering the times we are in right now where cleanliness should be an even bigger priority.

Coffee ice cubes, genius! I like regular coffee but usually have to wait a bit for it to cool so it doesnt burn the roof of my mouth. Regular Ive cubes dilute the coffee. Perfect solution.

There was a place like this when I was a kid up north call Bagel Nosh. My dad and I would go there on Sundays. 18 Bagels reminded me of it. Also, I have been looking for a place similar and now found it!!! Good sandwiches!!

Food is awful. I ordered chicken salad which was mayo and something. I ordered a Greek salad which came with potato salad under it. The potato salad was as bad as the chicken salad. My husband had an everything bagel which was alright.
