They have been our appliance repair center for almost 4 decades, providing all kinds of repairs on our appliances, and even selling us new and used models. OMG what a wonderful experience we had here. We purchased a used GE washer and dryer from Tyler at Appliance Center. They sell refurbished appliances. Tyler was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. We had an appointment to have them delivered and installed for only$50 so total our cost was $501. This am the washer make a scraping sound when we started our first wash. I called and talked with Nick. He had an idea of the problem and he came over and had it fixed within the hour. The hand truck had bent up a piece of metal and that was scraping. Easy peasy. He reminded me to call any time I have a question or problem. Customer service of the highest quality. These guys are awesome and a great team. Thanks guys!👍🏻

Average experience, turned rotten and difficult, that they turned around and made into an Outstanding Experience. Very Impressed with Tyler and his team. I am a very discerning, and frugal shopper. I called Tyler on the phone several times with technical questions and even asked for specific measurements before I made the trip. He was very accommodating. He would not haggle on the price because his prices were already competitive, and I agreed since I had shopped around for months.He called me the evening before delivery, and informed be that his delivery guy had damaged the unit. Long story short, Tyler ended up giving me a superior unit for the same price because, in his words, he wanted to make it right.Tyler came in on his day off to make sure that everything went smoothly on the weekend. There were a few bumps in the road which he resolved quickly. This is a fairly small store that goes out of their way to make sure the customer is taken care of. I wish larger organizations took customer service this seriously.Well done. You have definitely earned my future business.

I was really disappointed with the service I received from this company.My refrigerator stopped cooling last night, so I looked for a local repair place and called appliance center. The man I spoke to explained to me that the technician had a busy day, but that the technician would call me to see if we could set up an appointment.As initially promised, the technician called me back in about an hour and I gave him information about my refrigerator. The technician then told me that he would check to see what parts were in stock, and call me back in about an hour to let me know if he would be able to address the issue today. That was around 9am.I had not heard back from the technician by 3pm and called the store. I spoke with the same man and he placed me on hold and then told me that the technician would be calling me right back.He never called back.Its a shame when you try to use a local business that doesnt seem to care about customer service.I called a different company out of Pinellas and was able to get my refrigerator repaired within a few hours of calling a different company.I would not recommend this company.

Eric from the Florida Ave., Tampa, Fl location, was fantastic he delivered my new dryer, tested it after installing, and left a warranty to fill out for GE. Highly recommend this company as the store personnel were very knowledgable as well. Again, Eric is # 1.

I needed 2 dryers for two of our locations. I searched around and always look at reviews. Appliance Center caught my eye because of the reviews and responses by Tyler. I went in and was greated right away.Tyler was able to answer every question I had. I picked 2 units out. One for me and another for one of my other locations. The units were delivered, set up and tested the next day.After using them for a month, I am extremely pleased and will be using them again in the future for any other appliance needs.Thank you Tyler for providing an excellent customer experience. 5 Stars are not high enough. I got a good deal on a washer and dryer here. The staff was incredibly nice and down to earth, and highly knowledgeable in what they were selling. They even delivered the washer and dryer to my new place and brought it up the stairs. When the employee noticed a few scuff marks from trying to move it in, they fixed it right there on the spot. I would recommend anyone come talk to these guys for fairly priced appliances from a local shop.

We purchased a used washer/dryer set and are thrilled with the whole process. Tyler was the sales person who helped us. We had an unusual installation spot and he was very patient and knowledgeable to make sure the units would fit. The young man who installed the units the next morning, was polite and very quick. We had a slight issue with our electricaloutlet and a technician was sent out immediately to repair the problem. He was conscientious and professional. This was a great experience and hey, when is the last time you could say that about buying used appliances?

I spoke with Tyler, and he was professional and extremely prompt. Within the same day I had a tech at my door, Don, who was courteous, efficient, and had me fixed up in no time. I inherited an old dryer when I bought my house and the great folks at Appliance Center saved me a bundle on repairing it myself. I brought in a few parts that I thought were the problem, they tested them (they still worked), and advised I bring in one final part to test. When trying to get that part off the dryer, I had some issues and they walked me through it over the phone. Dryer is now working better than Ive ever seen it run and I got it done for next to nothing. Great store and a very helpful staff.

Wonderful first experience with Appliance Center Inc. We purchased a dryer and had it delivered to our town home. The man who delivered our dryer was an older gentleman, very polite, and arrived right at the time he said he would. Even took away my old dryer at no extra charge. Everyone we interacted with were great people and genuinely wanting to help. I quickly caught up with my backed up laundry in one day. Fantastic dryer at a great price. We will be returning here in the future for more home appliances.

We have used the Appliance Center for many years and this week purchased a range and a refrigerator. The owner was extremely accommodating. The service was outstanding from the initial visit to the delivery and installation of the appliances today, September 12, 2014. We price and service shopped at two other major appliance stores, and neither compared with the Appliance Center.We would strongly recommend the Center.

The honesty here is unbelievable. We have bought a few pre-owned pieces from this store and trust them 100%. Twice they have refused to tell us new appliances and sent a repairman to help us. Great business thats worth a second look!

I have purchased parts for my washing machine, dryer and refrigerator multiple times from these guys. Always helpful and they always know exactly what part I need even just from the description of the issue. Its amazing how when you call a repair place, they tell you they need to come look at it for $99 before they can quote a price and these guys can hear the symptoms on the phone and tell me exactly what part it is without even seeing the appliance.

Our property management company has been working with Appliance Center for over 15 years. They are prompt, courteous and efficient with repairs as well as purchases for new appliances. They handle scheduling and appointments with the tenants, follow-up with any repairs or replacement, billing and repairs. Thank you for your excellent service for all these years and more to come.

If you like to get ripped off then call the Appliance Center. They said the fee would be $39 for a tech to come out and diagnose the problem and if a repair was needed they would waive the $39. Im literally 30 SECOND from their door to mine. The tech come in and fixed my appliance in less then 5 minutes with a $10 part. Great! But my total bill ended up being $115. They waived the $39 and charged me $99 for 5 minutes of labor. Too bad for my poor judgement. I trusted these people not to rip me off especially since I had used them once before. I know this service is generally not cheap but that was totally miss leading. I called another company just up the road from them and they would of charged me $50 plus the $10 part for the same problem. Next time I will use them...this company has lost my business FOREVER. And Ill be sure to tell everyone that I know in Tampa about it...Good luck to you...they may fix your problem but Im pretty theyll try to rip you too!

Call to schedule an appointment to have my cooktop repaired. They were free and asked if they could come immediately. Technician showed up within 30 minutes. The technician determined that the hard wired power connection was loose. The technician tighten the power connection and the unit was functioning properly. The repair took about 20 minutes and no parts were needed. The charge was $100. So either they charge $200-300 an hour, they increased the bill because of my neighborhood, or they increased the bill because my wife was home alone. Either way I would not use this company again. Integrity is important!

I recently bought a used washer from the Appliance Center and while running my first load, I notices a metal rattling sound inside the washer housing. I called the Center immediately and within an hour the repair technician Donnie was at my home. He fixed the problem, answered some operational questions I had concerning my washer model. I have purchased four appliances over the years at great prices and always great service after the sale. A.C.Tampa...Keep up the great work!

I recently purchased my second used appliance, a washer, from the Appliance Center. Unfortunately it made a real racket!. I called for service and they came out immediately to fix the machine...three times! They really kept trying to make it better but nothing seemed to be working. So, without my even asking, they offered to replace the machine...at no additional cost to me. The replacement is excellent and I am extremely happy with my washer, and with the Appliance Center. I highly recommend them for their products and their customer service!

I had a fridge problem and they arrived early and resolved the issue quickly. They could have milked us for a new fridge but simple fixed a bent wire and we were only out the service call charge. Very happy with their promptness and service.

They are my new go to people.I manage a vacation rental and needed a new washing machine ASAP! The old one flooded the utility room, two days before new renters where coming. My first bet was on a new washer. I looked for one at all the usual big store suspects. Sure you can find a great price, but after reading reviews it became an issue of a great price piece of equipment that didnt do its intended job. Low price junk, that can NOT be delivered in the next 36 hours or so anyway. This meant I needed a new USED machine ASAP.I went to Craigslist, but with my time frame and need for reliability in a rental, I was uncomfortable with no warranty. Next Google used appliance places. I read several reviews before I got to these guys. They had great reviews, from a long period of time and variety of people. ((Note: This is how you know its not just friends and employees posting reviews.)) Furthermore, the owners response to his one negative review, was very professional yet touchingly human. I went there.Instantly I knew all my research and effort paid off. These guys know their products, will educate you, will not BS you, and delivered same day for an extremely reasonable price. Im actually excited to find these guys. Not only did they help me in the now, but I know who to go to for all of my future investment property appliance needs.

I would recommend that you not purchase parts from Appliance Center Tampa as they do not accept returns even if the part was unopened and was not a special order. We purchased a $20 dryer belt and then realized that we actually needed another, more expensive part. When we tried to return the belt (prior to purchasing the more expensive part), the young man behind the counter said that they werent WalMart and that it cost them money to send back returns to the manufacturer. When we told him that the item was in stock when we purchased it and was still unopened, he said I know. When asked again for a reason why they couldnt take the return, he said thats the way its always been. Definitely wont be shopping here again and recommend you dont either!

Came out to our house on Saturday to fix a dryer that was not heating. Said they fixed it. After the person left, it was not working.Called Monday, they showed little concern about coming back until I threatened to stop the check.Guy comes out, and sees it is not heating. He fixes his mistake.What was even shadier, he does not say it was a mistake, that the vent was making it go from hot to over-heating. Except it was not heating at all when he got there.He probably does not want to admit to a mistake. I do not call him out. I dont care, as long as my dryer is working. I will not call these guys again.Also, they charged me $30 for a $5 part.

I needed to fix a dryer that the heating coil and drum bearing had gone out on, they got me the parts made sure i knew how to replace it all, saved me some money instead of buying a whole new dryer, if you need a part for an appliance i highly recommend checking here first, Great customer service will use them again and again.

SCAM!!!! Im an hvac technician and repair central heat and air units for a living so when my washing machine broke naturally I thought to fix it myself. Upon diagnosis I determined the belt and motor pulley were shot so I removed both parts and took a photo of the model and serial number to find the matching parts. Upon arrival of this dumpy store that hasnt been updated since at least the early 90s I was greeted politely by the gentleman at the counter but then once I told him I was just getting the parts myself and planned on repairing it myself his attitude changed. He told me the belt was 20 but the pulley was not available by it self I had to buy the whole motor. When I told him I just wanted the belt he told me there was no point I needed the motor for 140 his very weak salesmanship did not work and a saw right through him as the liar he was. I arrived home googled and ordered the pulley for 9 dollars and my washing machine is running like a top again.SCAM

Dont use this appliance center. The washer didnt last a year.Had a repairman come 2 times first time he said nothing was wrong 2nd time he fixed it and it flooded the laundry room right after he left.
