This is a very unassuming store from the outside but its the best place to get a wide variety of ethnic food supplies - Asian, Eastern European and Mexican. The prices are excellent.Im very sad that these stores have been slowly disappearing... So I drive 20 minutes south to visit this Saars sometimes.Its kind of sketchy in the parking lot, but fine inside.

We went the day it was 109 degrees inspite of the weather our car tour was very nice the lady really knew about the animals and we were able to see some of them. We also entered the zoo area and was able to see more animals. We enjoyed this outing and will go again. The price of the tour is $90 per car load plus entry inside the zoo. A very good price for us.

The cashier@ this location was very kind and also helpful, while purchasing items and informative with the completion of items purchased within personal budget.

This place is really a hit or miss. Sometimes the prices arent really as good as you would expect. Good luck finding anyone to help, they are always under staffed.

Great place to shop. Staff is friendly and the quality of the products they offer are great. I love the Immense selection of culturally diverse items. They also carry products from local suppliers that no other grocery store in the area will have. Fresh breads from a local Seattle area bakery, and the food from the little deli in the back tastes just as good as it smells as you walk in the door. But my weakness is the drink selections they have. Not the adult beverages, but just the large inventory of your standard American soda pops, micro brewery style Cream sodas and Root beer, coconut water and milk of multiple flavors and variations and more. The Hispanic and Asian drinks are simply amazing. Wish I had found out about this place years ago.

This place has a vast variety of items and is very reasonable and price. Absolutely love this place. All the staff there is extremely nice and eager to help every time Ive been.

This store was ok lots of different variety of things but kind of spendy and open 24 hours which is nice.

It has alot of variety of other cultures foods, it is a bit pricey where some stuff you can get from Walmart or international food stores. Customer service needs improvements.

This place always has some good deals going, so the prices are hard to beat. My family and I have shopped at one of its chains for about a decade, and we like that its open late at night. However, the quality of their groceries is often on the lower end. When we buy fruits here, they usually go bad within 24 hours. If we buy bread here, it will have developed mold in just two days. Some of the meat weve bought here in the past had a bad smell or biofilm. Its not a deal-breaker; just something to keep in mind. Be prepared to eat things quickly so you dont waste any money, and be more careful with how you choose your meat.

It could be better. It needs improvement always going thru employees left and right with rudeness. But I like the prices sadly I dont got patience to deal with their attitudes. Dont like working with people give it to someone who does.

Always a great store to go to, it has a very eclectic blend of food choices. The stores are always clean and the staff are always friendly. Definitely worth a stop by to see for yourself.

This hodge podge of a store has everything from everywhere but the layout doesnt make sense and their prices are wonky. Dont get the ground beef because its not what it claims, 80/20 more like 70/30 and 2 lbs off of 5 lbs. When I told the cashier she said do you want it? Wow! Now I only go here for the ling hing mui seeds and half moon pie

Absolutely love this place. It’s open 24hrs which is so nice. Every other store changed their hours for “cleaning” and then never changed them back. Saar’s Market Place has remained steady. I never stepped foot in this store until the pandemic and I regret that. The amazing variety this place offers is amazing. It’s a smaller foot print then most big chain grocery stores, but they are well organized and they have the best selection around. I love that I can find all the ingredients to cook authentic Hispanic and Asian cuisine. Not the Americanized version with ketchup and ranch dressing. 🤢 I have a hectic schedule sometimes and shopping at 2am in so convenient. The night cashier that is always there is just great. Friendly and remembers you even if it’s been a week or a month since you were there last. He is fast and efficient at his job and knows how to make you feel welcome in the store. The other late night employees that are stocking the shelves are friendly and very helpful when needing assistance finding that one special ingredient or soda pop like Ramune.Thanks to everyone there. I appreciate all your hard work and giving me a place I look forward to shopping at.

Amazing little store packed full of goodies! An awesome produce section, tons of ethnic foods and some of the best beer prices around. If you are lucky Taste of Samoa food truck will be parked out front.

Love the Samoan food truck in the parking lot on Fridays. They have the best Samoan Tacos, with real meat and served on a steamed Taco bun. They have Lamb and Corned beef plates, and their pineapple juice is so refreshing and good.

Good prices on some items..the French bread is the best around and is always warm!

It is hit or miss at this store. But when they are actually stocked up it is halfway decent. But whatever you do, do NOT buy their meat. If you dont know why then i suggest you see for yourself if you havent aready heard this same thing from other people/sources...

They have the best candy aisle.🥳 I couldnt find peach trollis or trappers hot sauce, found both of them😋 If you cant find it Saars probably has it.

This place has a weird vibe to it. GREAT deals on almost expired beer I once bought 30 six packs of IPA from hear at once.

Best store friendly people good service and always something new

There are so many problems with this store. It is very filthy, a lot of the meat is positioned in the cold cases where it will not keep temperature (I have gotten food poisoning from the meat and yes, it was cooked all the way), a lot of the deli items are not properly labeled and do not list ingredients or allergies (which is breaking FDA rules), the customer service is also really poor.It bothers me how they have a security guard at the door almost all hours of the day. It bothers me they will not trade in dollar bills for quarters or other change to paying customers. These practices show that the grocery chain or manager has racial and socioeconomic biases which is very hypocritical considering they are called super saver foods and carry a lot of Ethnic items. I’m going to take my business elsewhere.

Make sure you dont have to go to the bathroom when you go here. You have to get a code from customer service to open the door, go through a maze, when u finally get there, the bathroom was a nightmare with flickering lights, trash, nastiness. As I tried to use the toilet, people kept barging in... If you really need to go, do it somewhere else.

This grocery store for years and I like their meat and especially they had my pork you know with them skin on it no other place has that youre the only store that carries Parkwood skin on it and okay what else and that it had most of the my Spanish beans and my Spanish sauce and I was greatly appreciated that they used to have the oil there Ill call your oil it would be wonderful if they could carry more Goya products and the people that work there are very helpful thats it

I was able to get my Covid shot here. Was there a little early, was able to get my shot a little early. I purchased some chicken from the hot counter in the back. The fried chicken there tasted preety good. I think the prices werent bad either. Its out of the way for me but will get my second shot there. Will get more fried chicken for sure.

So expensive on some items. Dirty. Messy staff is rude. Not the best place to go to. I would rather deal with Walmart lines

I went to the deli to buy chicken 🍗. The lady put two a thigh and a leg in. Went to pay with my debit card she told me $ 5.00 dollar minimum. I her told didnt want it. I can go Safeway, Albertsons, Fred Meyer and Walmart no $ 5.00 minium. Spanaway Saars is where this was.

I love this store. They have a great selection of fresh vegetables. I buy sesame oil from them. Their ground spices are great.

Mask are currently required to shop which is great that are safety is a priority. There isnt a person limit in the store which does leave room for concern but i know with my busy life its a plus to not have to wait in a line. This location was well stocked, which makes shopping a lot easier.

I love this store! Open 24 hours! Have tons of multi-cultural foods and great prices on all your staples and snacks! The best part about this store, though, is the 3-4 isles of non food items. Its like a mini Dollar General Store. Pots, pans, part supplies, basic tools (even power tools I think) cosmetics, etc. Its just a cool place and its fitting in the Parkland/Spanaway area which seems to be home to other not-so chain-like stores or the last of the dying breed stores (Kmart/True value/QFC).

Great supply of multinational foods, kosher foods, gluten-free, etc. Produce is fresh and varied, meats are fresh and varied. In-store eatery is well stocked. Store is clean and always smells fresh. Its the only place I can find many of my favorite foods and drinks. Long drive from home, but worth it to me.

I love to shop in Saars, they used to have one in Lakewood but it was closed now, although i have to drive for 45 minutes ( traffic not included 😁) i still shop here they carry a lot of Filipino foods and ingredients, and those bulk meat and fish ..i wish they bring back those hanging baskets 😊

This one is a lot smaller than the Auburn store but its still chock-full of interesting items you dont see everywhere. The produce, dairy & bakery section(s) are above average; much of the meat department is OK but dont buy anything in bulk here; as a matter of fact SKIP the meat dept completely

This store has such a wide variety of ethnic foods you can have anything you want for a meal.i loved shopping here and the prices are amazing I spent about a hundred dollars and filled the trunk of my car with enough food for about two weeks of snacks and meals.i will go back even if its not along the way. And to boot ...the cashiers were very polite.

I like this store has the products i need at a very reasonable price and I usually always get some stir fried rice and Mongolian beef its hard to pass up for me so this store for me is a go to when Im in that area.

10/29/20 Love this store but website being weird this week. Please fix. Lots of mochi choices, inexpensive, I stuff them with my own ice cream. Im from Hawaii so I feel like home here. Also the fried chicken is exceptional, we get legs and thighs. We love the choice of fruits and veggies.

Yeah Im up here in Washington working on a contract a family member suggested that I was seeing to go over to Sarahs theyve got some pretty cool stuff I said okay.I never heard of Sarahs before figured probably a mom and pops operation theyve got an oriental grill in there Chinese kitchen whatever you want to call it that really good and Im not too much about Chinese food but theyre sweet and sour chicken and their lemon chicken and the rice is really really good and they got fried chicken too so I would definitely total kudos swing by and grab some its making me hungry think about it I might have to for me and the girlsNow Sarahs is a store they got a lot of odd stuff you know kind of like discount places have some things are spending but it all depends what youre looking for and Ive noticed being I normally live on the other side of the border in Oregon everythings more expensive in Washington so thats a given for the people up here live up around the block well theyre used to it but definitely I give Sarah a try see what you thinkand like I said because I had some odd things I was kind of blown away with I give service two thumbs up and definitely that Chinese grill👍👍👍👍😃😃😃😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍
