Love coming here. They have an amazing selection of salvaged building supplies, as well as unique items such as old pier pilings that have been slabbed for boards. They have a huge selection of vintage home fittings as well as selections that are art deco and modern. Well worth stopping in to find that hard to place piece.

Don’t go here. Go to Earth Wise instead. The people who worked at Abercrombie grew up and now this is where they work. It’s clean but that awful Abercrombie/Hollister music is pumping overhead. It apparently attracts the people that are better than everyone else. I checked out with my $25 vintage drawer pulls. I asked what the return policy was and the cashier turned and asked another woman who was writing things on a clip board. Her response, “You know what the return policy is, Emily!” And then, forgoing the fact that I AM STILL WAITING, stares furiously at Emily until she fumbles through it. Btw, it’s a 10% restocking fee for returns. If you want to park your BMW where it doesn’t belong (saw this happen) and relive your overpriced Abercrombie days as an adult, you’ll love it here.

Ever-changing inventory, excellent spot for interesting doors and light fixtures. Come with a truck or at least a hatchback. If you see something you like, buy it; the locals are ravenous and the stock is enticing.

You can shop this store online very easily. They have apparently established protocols for protected pickup. I have been out much this last year. (2020). This is fun place for the builder, remodeler, home owner and used weird stuff afficionados to just wander though. I think you have to make appointments. They also have a Tacoma location which, I assume, is as well run as the Seattle store. A big bonus, since I last visited, is when calling them up they now have bright cheery young ladies answering questions knowledgeably. Both locations- dulcet tones and on ball.

We are restoring our 112 year old house and Second Use often has the parts we need at a great price. The staff is always helpful and very friendly.

When I first started going here I loved it. They had cheap 2nd use items for almost any project you were working on. However, now it seems more like an overpriced hipster store. The prices are comparable to buying new.

I love this place, this is were I get a lot of my rough cut lumber to mill down in my shop. Lots of maple and oak selection.

Dont always find exactly what I want, but always find something I (we) need to move forward or finish projects that have been hanging not quite complete.

This place always inspires me to do more with repurposed materials. I always cruise the aisles before starting any DIY project.

Great place in the friendly staff. They have an abundance of scrap wood parts and miscellaneous items that will save you from going to Lowes or Home Depot.

Masks must be worn, social distancing and limiting how many people are in at one time. They are asking people to limit their time to allow others that may be waiting out in the sun. Very polite and genuinely worried about Covid precautions, that I did not mind at all. Polite and helpful, many employees were busy cleaning if not helping a customer. Decent prices and product.

Neat place. VERY friendly and helpful staff. They have lots of second hand items and materials available, some near new, some very vintage and hard to find elsewhere. They accept used items for donation, even offering credit for some items. They accepted 600+ SF of high quality laminate, and lots vintage kitchen cabinets. We pulled these out on a reno of our home; Still in excellent shape, just not our style. This place offered a great opportunity to give them a second life, divert them from a landfill, and avoid disposal / dumping costs for what are still very useful items in good shape.

Great place. Live edge wood, doors, windows and much more. Also, some unique pieces that you cant find anywhere else.

Always a fun experience to go peruse their warehouse. Everything is well organized (for a salvage store) and rotation of inventory makes it worth going back.

This is my favorite place to shop for used building materials. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They dont always have what I am looking for but their website is very easy to search. They have a great hold policy so you can be sure the item is there when you get to the store. I was able to replace all the cheap hollow doors in my house with nice used solid 6 panel doors.

A great place to find quality building materials at a great price . There might be a scratch or ding here or there but who cares. They reuse materials that otherwise would end up at the dump. Solid wood doors,fine cabinetry,door knobs,cool old windows,bathtubs,sinks,etc...Please support them.

Great place to find odd trinkets and materials for random projects.Really awesome for random pieces of lumber, but bulk items are best ordered from bulk stores. Much of the stuff is dated and wound need to intentionally match a decor theme.

We have frequented the Seattle Second Use for a year, but I spied something interesting at this location. We drove down and found the item was just as described. The helpful staff helped us find a way to load it and gave us great advice. We were impressed with the store in general- it was well laid out and, though smaller that the Seattle location, has a great selection. Workshops and classes are coming soon too, according to the folks in the shop.

We dropped off some tools, the guy was super friendly and informative.

Rating them is difficult at best, as there inventory is constantly changing, as is the quality of that inventory. Best I can say is to go and see for yourself if they have what you need. Nice to have this type of business in the area.

I LOVE this place. I have gotten a lot of lumber and interior doors from here and the Seattle location. Also bought a lot of random items to up cycle as well. Using it to remodel my house with a modern cabin look. Donated most of the stuff i dont want to them as well. Website is easy browsing. Great helpful staff. Heres a photo of some of the reclaimed shiplap Ive been using not only as accent but as a way to protect the walls from heavy dog traffic.

Prices are awesome. Interesting array of items, if you are redoing your house from the smallest thing like replacing hardware, to larger things like replacing cabinets, it is definitely worth a visit there. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Amazing selection of reclaimed lumber! Makes me want to do something creative

I went here four months ago according to Google Maps. I came here with a few things in mind and I ended up purchasing four chunks of wood. Im not sure what they were originally but I turned them into the legs of a snake bench. The stain on the legs compliments our existing decor and the snakes enclosures. One of the snakes stays on the bench, another one of the snakes is under the bench. It looks really good with a nice plant, a jar of snake skin, and an elk skull (that I found, not shot.) I got the legs for $25 total so I am super happy. Will keep going!

I have never been here before. They have lots of cool stuff at a great price. I was there to pick up an old fashioned house radiator for my brothers business. While waiting for his radiator, I saw several items I could have some fun refurbishing. I think it would be worth someones time to take a look.

These guys are awesome. Saving the environment while saving me money. I love it! Though I must say my contractor shakes his head every time I come out with more stuff.

Go often and win! You can check the inventory online but its way more fun just to paruse and find cool treasure. I recommend keeping a list of measurements for projects your hoping to do with you so you.

I hate wasting time going to used second hand stores looking for something i could use but only finding a junk yard. I walked out of this place with things i didnt know i needed!! My wife wanted out of the house since being home so much with our newborn so she came along and ended up spending more than me (tip: leave the wife at home). Ive been here a few times now and and seen another rare quality, friendly helpful staff. This place is great!
