We were on the hunt for our perfect boat. After dealings with horrible online brokerages, we found Matt Palmer. Our diminished trust in what we thought was the norm quickly disappeared when we started working with Matt. We are located out of State from the vessel we were interested in. Matt was extremely responsive in emails, texts and phone calls. He held our hands from the offer to purchase, to surveying the boat, to the final transfer of our boats home. He went over and above on everything needed to procure the closing. I can’t say enough about this Broker. If you need help finding your perfect boat/yacht, you won’t be disappointed.

NW Yachtnet is an amazing crew of trustworthy and knowledgeable yacht sales professionals. I have purchased 2 different boats over the past several years from this team. Eddie Sauthoff has been exceptionally diligent and resourceful in overcoming any issues, going above and beyond to satisfy my requirements. The professionalism and integrity of NW Yachtnet people were essential in both transactions, and they always made sure deals were ultimately good for both buyer and seller. I’m sure I will upgrade boats again soon, and will be sure to call Eddie, Kurt, Bob and the NW Yachtnet crew to help broker my next sale and purchase. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly.Call NW Yachtnet first before calling anyone else.

I recently bought a boat after nearly 6 months of searching, and as a first timer, it was quite a process because I had to have it shipped by truck from Olympia to Portland and had to make several day trips up to checkout, survey, and test the boat, but found exactly the boat I wanted; its been a few months, and I absolutely love the boat even more.Kurt was a fantastic broker and assisted in arranging everything from finding available surveyors to finding a shipping company and scheduling the shipping to getting the boat ready to move when I couldnt be there as I lived an hour and half away. He answered every question I had, never once tried to push the sale or convince me to do anything; he did what a salesman should, he was simply there for whatever I needed and whatever questions or concerns I had.I ran into some issues with shipping the boat because the trucker did not feel safe having the dingy attached to the boat the way it was as itd catch too much wind and possible get ripped up, so I was forced to leave it there and ship without it. Thats a solid thousand dollar loss had Kurt not stepped up and volunteered to drive 3 hours round trip just to delivery my dingy in his truck to me when I was unable to find any other way to get it home and I simply paid for his gas. This was above and beyond customer service and Id highly recommend NW Yachtnet and especially Kurt to anyone looking to buy or sell a boat.Next time I buy a boat, Ill be giving Kurt a call, you should too. He knows boats, but more importantly, he knows people. Give these guys a look, theyre good people.

Matt Palmer is the guy to see!My wife and I recently got the need a bigger boat itch and, like many, first turned to Craigslist, boat trader, etc to find the perfect boat. We grew frustrated as we viewed many boats and spoke with many different brokers, all of which were either pushy or just difficult. Then we found Matt at NW Yachtnet. Matt patiently and thoughtfully worked with us over several months to find the right boat for us. He was laid-back and friendly, but also proactive and resourceful. Beyond finding the right boat, Matt handled all of the communication with the very difficult seller agent (this is a very nice way of putting it), made all of the arrangements for viewing and inspections, helped us find a great surveyor, and handled all of sales/licensing paperwork. Matt worked around our very complicated schedules and made himself available evenings, weekends and early mornings. He even went hours (and many miles) out of his way when I was delayed on survey day due to a business trip that got extended. We love our new boat, but when its time to once again upgrade, there is only one call we will make!

Eddie is exceptional! He helped my husband and I purchase our boat last year. He listened, then used his skill, expertise and connections to find us a boat that was exactly what we were looking for. He guided us every step of the way through the purchase process and after the sale has been an incredible resource whenever we needed recommendations for service. We cant recommend him enough!

Matt van den Heuvel is a really good Broker. Did a deal recently with him and was spot on throughout the entire process. Extremely trustworthy. Knowledgeable and all around good guy. I would want him in my foxhole if I was in the market for a boat in the Pacific North west.

I was very impressed with our salesman. He was very helpful and he took a good amount of time to work with us. I would definitely recommend NW Yachtnet to any of my friends who are looking at purchasing a boat. Even though his daughter was getting married Matt made sure that we were taken care of and that type of service doesnt happen very often.

My wife and I bought our boat from Bob Bergland. He spent an endless amount of time and patience showing us boat after boat as we are very picky. He never gave up on us. We did find the perfect boat and could not be happier. We have a great deal of respect for Bob and his company.

Lisa and I had been small boat owners for years and decided that we wanted to move to a larger boat suitable for cruising. We needed assistance and guidance on how to find such a boat. Friends from the Fox Island Yacht Club suggested we contact NW Yachtnet in Tacoma and specifically Dana Motlik who they had recently used in their purchase. We did so and was the best decision we could have made in our search! Dana quickly went to work searching for boats meeting our requirements and within a few days found a boat for our viewing. She was right on target with a 2002 MY Bayliner 3488 Command Bridge! Dana professionally guided and assisted us through the complete buying process from offer to survey to sea trails to closing. Lisa and I will definitely use Dana in our future boat purchases and would highly recommend her and the NW Yachtnet Tacoma Team for your yacht purchase whether it is your first or fifth one. Thanks Dana!

I purchased a boat that had been listed by NW Yachnet, I did not find the boat through the broker, I found it through the owners son. He showed me the boat I decided I liked it, and they did the right thing, they told me that to complete the sale I would need to go through the broker, which I did.I called the broker, extended my offer which was at full price, and they sat on their hands for more than two weeks before bothering to talk to him about it.Again there was more feet dragging on the part of NW Yachtnet, almost a month had gone by and finally they told me to have my attorney draw up the papers for the sale, have the owner sign them, and then they would collect their fee!I should mention the previous owner of my boat is a disabled WWII Veteran who is going both deaf and blind and cannot read well enough to read a contract. If I had been an unscrupulous person I could have had my attorney include any amount of small print that could have absolutely screwed the seller over making them pay for things they had never agreed to.In this case it is my opinion that NW Yachtnet completely dropped the ball and failed to protect the interests of their client the seller. It was because of this I rescinded my offer through them and contacted the seller directly as I had never met with anyone from NW Yachnet face to face even though their office is within walking distance of where I bought the boat! Then NW Yachtnet contacted the seller and demanded payment of the 3,400.00 broker fee! Although they had literally done absolutely nothing that had contributed to the sale of the boat, in fact they almost completely soured the deal because their actions made me seriously reconsider backing out on buying the boat all together! If this is how they want to treat a Disabled WWII Veteran, I would shudder to think at how they will treat anyone else.I know I will never do business with them again, and in the future if I am in the market for a boat again I absolutely will not even consider buying a boat they have listed!
