Went in for a bridal dress appointment on a Saturday. They already had about five dresses pulled and ready for me to try on based on my preferences they asked me to email them before the appointment. They really listened to my style and did a nice job with the choices. My consultant Kara was amazing. Very friendly and easy to work with. She did a great job making me and my family comfortable and answered any questions we had. I would recommend Spy Baby and Kara to anyone who wants a personalized and relaxed shopping experience. Came in this past Saturday with my best friend(the bride) and a few of us brides maids. What a wonderful experience! Best place for formal or wedding dresses in Syracuse. The store was adorable and very clean. The young lady helping our group was patient, friendly and fun. I would recommend to anyone 10 out of 10!

From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed like family. Marie went above and beyond to help me find the perfect mother of the bride dress. Marie continued to exceed our expectations to help my daughter find her bridesmaids dresses she even called the manufacturer! When my daughter asked if they would be willing to do the alterations on her gown from Another salon she was more than happy to offer her services . I came in a month before my wedding, they all worked really hard to help me find something off the rack that I loved! They didnt stop until I found /the/ dress! I bought it, and got three fittings in all before my wedding. They worked with me until it fit perfectly and looked exactly how I wanted! I came in very last minute because my dress I ordered somewhere else was stuck in customs. Spybaby got me in right away. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, which was a short dress. They found me something even better that was long, and cut it for me that day. Every one I dealt was beyond helpful and the alterations came out perfect. They got everything done for me in time for my party within 2 weeks. Couldnt recommend them enough!

Having visited four separate bridal salons, I can say without hesitation Spybaby Bridal was the absolute best and most thoughtful experience. Carol is an true magician, and the gowns she picked out all looked incredible on me and were literally what I was seeking in the dress and more. I felt like a real princess and literally fell in love with three of the gowns i got to try on (so, still deciding...). They have seamstresses in house and would work with you along the process to help create what you want at a price point you specify. I definitely highly recommend this place.

I was genuinely surprised and impressed by our visit to Spybaby Bridal. From the minute we walked in the door, our salesperson listened to everything my daughter wanted and desired in a dress and returned with exactly what she was looking for! From the try-ons to measurements to ordering, everything was professional, timely and hassle free. We paid for the dress in full because one of their perks is if you do they pay the tax, how can you beat that! Sorry can’t post photos but she said “yes to the dress”!

I got engaged in January 2019 and got married 1 week ago (9/21/19). I knew I had to find a dress quickly given my short engagement. My dress came in the first week of August. It was cutting close, but they schedule your fittings as priority based on when you’re getting married so this was convenient and reassuring. I had a total of 3 fittings and they adjusted my alterations to what I wanted without question. There was one minor problem that was a little upsetting. There were 3 small ink stains on my dress when I went to pick it up the day before my wedding. This was very inconvenient as I was extremely busy that day, however, they had it dry cleaned within 3 hours and it was stain free. I understand mistakes can happen, but take it as a learning experience. Please check the dresses before you bag them up! All an all, I do recommend Spybaby because the staff is very sweet, attentive, and there are many, many beautiful dress styles/options to choose from.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Spybaby. Carol helped me with my dream dress by Maggie Sottero. I felt nothing short of spectacular the whole time. Carol made me feel so special. I had gone to another bridal shop before I went to Spybaby and the atmosphere and experience was completely different. While shopping, I only had about 6 months before my wedding- which I know isn’t ALOT of time- but it’s certainly enough time. At the other shop I felt very pressured at the end of my appointment when I had found I dress I was fond of. The other shop’s consultant was trying to push the sale knowing that I wasn’t completely in love with the dress. At Spybaby, carol made me feel relaxed and beautiful. Completely stress free. She helped me order my dream dress exactly how I wanted it and didn’t even pressure me into ordering a veil- she suggested I come back for the trunk show this summer. 5 stars. Absolutely amazing. Do not come here if you are not set on buying a dress and would like to just get a feel for what you like. The sales people here are very pushy and care more about making a sale then how their customers feel. I purchased a wedding gown here and am now selling it because I regret buying it and don’t love it, but they were pushing the sale so hard and I caved under the pressure. They prey on your emotions and tell you that if you don’t buy the dress the same day they can’t honor a discount. After visiting other bridal shops, I realize how truly pushy the salespeople here are. Stay away or you are not ready to make a decision.

The level of customer service I received here was truly remarkable. The care and attention to my wedding dress, as well as the bridesmaids’ dresses and MOB dress, made my dreams come true. I will never forget the kindness and love they showed my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Great selection of dresses and the seamstress Maria was very knowledgeable in providing what kind of alterations could be done to the dress I selected. I was able to find a modest dress( high coverage and back coverage) in a flattering fun style. I had been all over NYS at bridal shops and I should have gone here first!Make sure to call to make an appointment.Dressing rooms are spacious and there are mirrors and pedestals on floor so you can see what the back of your dress looks like.

I went here looking for a wedding dress close to the wedding and had a wonderful experience. We found the perfect dress, the alterations were just right, and I got everything in time for a great price.

Absolutely horrible experience. If I have any friends or relatives interested in purchasing wedding dresses or other apparel I highly recommend them to avoid SpyBaby Bridal. Their management is entirely unprofessional, vindictive, and has the habit of discriminating against people. So rude! 2 thumbs down.

I had bought,my wedding dress elsewhere but even though they had my measurements they ordered my dress 3 sizes to big and it was going to cost me way to much to fix it. Everyone was so nice and understanding they helped me find a dress I looked and felt amazing in for a great price after they saw how big my other dress was. Everyone there was great and so welcoming . And the owner is one of the nicest ladies out there she really made me feel so much better about having to get a new dress.

Due to personal issues I will not be able to be a part of my dear friends wedding party, my dress was already bought and paid for but no alterations had been done to it at all. When the bride contacted the store on my behalf they refused to give me a refund stating they dont do that. I am sorry but life does get in the way sometimes, if the dress was altered to my body I would understand but it was never touched and now I am out all that $. Extremely unprofessional

This was the 6th place we went. Despite how burned out we were, they still managed to put a huge smile on my face. Nicole was helping me and she was at least as excited as I was and her whole personality lit up the room the seamstress at the desk was kind and funny and the whole air of the place just made the day so much better. What an incredible group of people that work there. Thank you guys all so much.Everything was reasonable and flexibly tailored. Every dress was beautiful and unique and I had a blast. They had sizes that fit me and sometimes so well with so much variation in the shape offered in each size category of dresses that the only tailoring I would have needed was a hem. I found my dress and I couldnt be more excited.

I am so pleased with the professionalism, quality, and friendliness of the staff. After dealing with the fiasco that is Davids Bridal, 9 days before my best friends wedding in which I am the maid of honor, I was left trying to find a dress. I called Spybaby and they were so sweet on the phone, looking for dresses in my size and pulling them for me before I got there. They helped me find a dress that is absolutely beautiful, so much better than the original. The customer service was exceptional. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I am not a person to wear dresses so dress shopping was the most difficult piece to figure out for my wedding. The staff made it incredibly easy. I showed her a few pictures of dresses that I had in mind. She began pulling dresses that were similar to the ones I showed her. She was very patient. She also gave her honest opinion. I appreciated her voicing her opinion. Sometimes family and close friends will not tell you their true opinion for fear of hurting your feelings but the sales associate was phenomenal. They were very accommodating. My intentions were just to try on dresses to get an idea but the associate picked out a dress that I could not say no to!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase dresses!!!

Went to spy baby bridal and they did everything in their power to help me find a new dress, I wish I could give this bridal shop 100 stars! I bought my wedding dress from this store and had such an amazing experience from day one. The owner helped me try on multiple gowns giving honest, but not brutal, advice and really listened so she could go find more for me to try on. She made the entire process simple, stress-free, quick, and fun. She even thought outside the box (once I found my dress) and gave me a headband to try on instead of the belts so it was more budget friendly! It ended up being what I had the seamstress sew into my dress for me. The fittings were easy and the staff was friendly and got to know my mom and I from us coming so often. I would highly recommend this shop for any bride to be!

Marie you are my hero. I want everyone to know what you and your staff did for me today.I was literally on my way, driving, to Florida for my daughters wedding I was stopping by to pick up her dress and try on mine as it needed last minute alterations. I have to admit that I never really liked my mother of the bride dress from the beginning but seamstress Maria worked very hard to make me happy. I tried it on and just cried. Both Marie and Maria tried to fix what was bothering me about the dress then finally asked the question do you like this dress? I immediately said no. Marie said you will not leave here until we find you a dress. And thats what happened. Marie and her staff brought me several dresses to try on and we found the perfect one. Then in about 30 minutes Maria altered and steamed it to fit me perfectly and I love it!!! Not only did they do all that but they brought the dresses to my car and packed them in.I cant thank you enough. We are headed to a wedding at the end of the month, its in Florida where the bride lives, the dress was ordered way wrong and wed been to other places and had horrible experiences. We drove 45 minutes to get up here and we couldnt be more happy, they have a great plan to fix the dress and will have it done with plenty of time to spare to get to the wedding. I had a great Salesperson Kara, who was not pushy at all when I left without buying anything. I loved her service so much I returned and ended up buying a dress she pulled for me. I have received several calls for bridal shows ect, so management can be a tad aggressive, but I would much rather support a small business than one of the big bridal chains.

Came here to find my wedding dress, I had a great experience. I had a personal consultant and other employees would stop and give their opinion. I highly recommend coming here over the other corporate option, youll have a great time and feel special while trying on gowns.

I stopped into Spy Baby in Syracuse on a Saturday afternoon, just to look at some ideas. My wedding isnt until September, I figured I had plenty of time. When we (myself and my 2 sisters) got there, it was packed, tons of girls trying things on. One of the staff approached us, Erica, I told her we didnt have an appointment, but just wanted to get some ideas of what I wanted. She immediately offered one of the open dressing rooms and offered to just start pulling things I liked. I tried on about 8 dresses and fell in love with 2. I made an appointment to come back with my mom. When we went back, Erica had the 2 that I loved pulled out and ready for me to try on again. The one I liked the best was about twice what I wanted to spend. I loved the shape and how it fit, but it was a little too fancy for me. I tried on about 8 others, still searching for the style I loved. It was a Maggie Sottero. Erica pulled another, more simple, Maggie dress. It was PERFECT! It was the exact style I wanted and it was in my budget! Erica was so great. She was so accommodating and genuine. Trying on dresses can be frustrating. She made me feel great! I would totally recommend this place to anyone. My dress should be in by late July in time for any alterations needed. It wasnt just the store, but Erica is awesome. Ask for her if you go there!!

I had an amazing experience at Spybay. I was nervous going in and Casey was so helpful and calming. After talking through a few things, she picked a few dresses and the first one she picked was absolutely perfect. She even kept my budget in mind and suggested a but of the rack to get a deal. Casey was amazing and Spybaby takes such care of their dresses that I was excited to buy the dress I was actually wearing. I keep wanting to show everyone pictures Im so excited!!!!! They worked with me on the dress fitting schedule, even doing two of my appointments on the same day so that I knew I would be able to get the fittings done while I was in town. I called this store because I was in LA on vacation and I came across eve of Milady dresses that I loved. Since I didnt want to order in LA and have it shipped and altered and deal with all that because I am from Rochester NY. I found out from the designer that close to me there was 2 stores that carried this designer one in Rochester and one was spybaby bridal in Syracuse. I ended up traveling o Syracuse and buying the dress at this location because every time I called the owner was nice enough to take her time and speak to me. I had told her I was already interested in buying a dress and she told me to wait for the trunk show because there would be more selections to choose from. I just purchased a dress from the trunk show this weekend and I am in love with it. I would definitely recommend this store. They were not pushy which can really annoy people when they just want to relax and enjoy the process of buying a wedding dress. Great service!

After having an absolutely horrible experience at Davids Bridal, we went to Spybaby. When we arrived I was really nervous that they werent going to be able to get me in because it was a Saturday and everyone was super busy or booked that day. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating from the moment I stepped foot into the store. They got me right in and were very personable and made sure to listen to exactly what I was looking for. If you love bling then this is the place to go! Absolutely amazing selection of dresses. I was actually a little overwhelmed because they had so much to choose from and all were so beautiful. After all of their amazing customer service and trying multiple dresses on, I finally had the Say Yes to the Dress moment. After debating if it was indeed the dress or not, the owner put a veil on me and that was it. I broke down in tears the second she put that veil on and so did my family. Mind you I had other veils put on me that day, and I didnt have that sort of reaction like I did with this one. I knew at that point that was my dress. Needles to say I also bought that beautiful veil with my dress! I cant wait for it to come in and for everyone to see it on our wedding day next year. I contacted SpyBaby shortly after my engagement and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday morning. I tried on atleast 8-10 gowns and found one that I really liked but I was not ready to commit to that gown yet so we proceeded with the other appointments we had that day at Davids Bridal and Aldred Angelo. Later that week SpyBaby let me know that the dress I was interested in was discontinued. I followed up with a later appointment at Spybaby with a few dress in mind that I wanted to see. The owner asked me many questions about my wedding what I liked or didnt like, where it was, when it was, what looks I really liked, what materials I really liked and she pulled a dress that I had seen on Maggie Sotteros website but I really didnt like it on the model online but the dress in person was beautiful. I tried it on and fell in love. I was told it would take about 6 months to get my dress in and I was ordering it the last week in October so we were looking at an April arrival date which was fine because the Wedding is May 25th. Well I called this week to check on the status and make sure everything was ok and would be on time. To my surprise my dress was done and ready to ship from the manufacturer and it actually arrived yesterday. I couldnt believe it almost 7 weeks sooner than expected. Marie and her staff have been great to work with and I will be using them for my alterations as well. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a bridal gown. There selection and customer service are amazing.
