I’m planning on going on a road trip this weekend and after both of the other local places turned down my quick repair job until two weeks, these guys got it in and out of the shop in 2 hours for a cheap price! Super happy with how everything went and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Tried to take advantage of me for 1100.00 for an inspection!! Was end of month so needed to fill their quota!! Took it to a reputable mechanic that said their was NO PROBLEM with the car and passed inspection no problem. Was told they do this often!!

This shop is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They have looked at and repaired tires that other shops (a) wouldnt look at or (b) had misdiagnosed. I now come here exclusively for any and all tire problems.

I received excellent service from John and his team. John didnt talk down to me or treat me like I know nothing about cars and was really great at explaining the issues to me in depth and wasnt annoyed by my questions. I trust John due to his friendliness and professionalism and will continue to get my car serviced with him and his staff.

I drove up here to have my car inspected today and Mark told me to set up an appointment; fine, so I did. The inspection done without a hitch, Garrett was a kind tech, who did the inspection/emissions. I feel that I can return to this shop.

John was extremely rude and condescending.

I would recommend the place for my friends its service is good. I usually bring my car here for oil change, insipalation, headlights and other few things. Prices with these things is okey.

I had my oil changed by Mark. Absolutely amazing. I know its just an oil change, but Mark was very personable and definitely knew what he was talking about. I wish there were more honest mechanics like Mark around.

Went there to get a new tire. First rep was fine. When I went back to pick my car up the rep who cashed me out for the bill M. Palma was extremely rude. I paid part cash, part credit card. He didn’t even have the courtesy to put the change in my hand and as I was looking over my charges before authorizing with my signature and leaving as anyone should he tried to rush me. When I told him I wanted to review my bill before agreeing to the charges he selfishly responded with “I just wanna go home”. Mind you it was about 20 minutes prior to their closing time. I went outside to tell my ride everything was fine so they could depart and got in my vehicle for a moment. I thought that I should go back and tell him about his poor customer service so I did and he was in the process of closing the garage door and leaving early. When I confronted him in a dignified way he didn’t even try to hear me out and responded with profanity. I gave him an opportunity to listen to me and apologize. I wish what should’ve been a civil and private conversation didn’t have to come to this.

Mechanic was very honest. Pointed out the problem and that it did not need addressed immediately.

Highly highly recommend, Mark was fantastic and honest with the prices. Brought in our truck after being told we needed 800 dollar brakes at a different shop. He took the time to review and determine our car was perfect and didn’t charge us a cent.For anyone who needs any services done to their car, would highly recommend coming in. Five stars.

I was so impressed with Joe, the manager, today. He was so helpful and took time to explain my brake issues and showed me on my car exactly what he was talking about. He worked with me to find the best way to fix my brake problem at the least cost to me. I feel that he truly went above and beyond and would recommend this business to everyone. As I sat waiting for my car Joe happily greeted customers as they walked in and was very personable and knowledgeable. I left there as a very satisfied customer! I would also add that the mechanic working on my car also seemed quite knowledgeable as well. Thank you guys!

Im back again because they do excellent work and theres something to say about the friendly and respectful service I received. I love the hours the shop is open too (7am-7pm on weekdays). Whenever I need prompt and reliable repair Im pulling up to this shop! Thank you Joe and Simeon for helping me out once again. Great experience, called for an oil change appointment, got in same day for an awesome price. The manger (Joe I think?) was a great guy, and after the change didn’t heckle me on the 100 other things they could and fix for me. Which is all a college student can ask for! The store front could use some fixing up though, in the area it’s in it would stand out much better.

These guys were great. Got me in quickly, worked with me to get what I needed done at a price I could afford. This will be our new mechanic!

I have been here two times now and this place is the best! They are quick and do good work, but best of all they are fair in their prices and do not try to convince you to get a service you do not need. As a young woman I always worry I will be tricked into paying for something I do not need when I go to get my car repaired. This is definitely not the case here, and I plan to continue coming to this Monroe Muffler.

Brought my Trailblazer in for a quick lift and look to diagnose a power steering issue, was half expecting them to try and tell me it was my rack & pinon to try and get more money out of me, like any other place Ive taken any of my vehicles. To my surprise, the not only told me what was wrong (which was not my rack), but they brought me to the vehicle and showed me a couple other issues so I would know they werent just spouting off high cost parts. Then they gave me a decent quote to have the other safety issues fixed.I will be going back to them in the future, I prefer mechanics who take the time to enlighten and inform me, not just treat me like ask invalid.

10 out of 10. The service here is great. They are always so friendly and helpful. The prices are fair and they always try to work with me. I don’t take my car anywhere else.

I recently had a great experience! The staff were efficient and courteous as they estimated the damage on my vehicle. They even gave me a few options for repairs and the estimated prices. I would recommend the gentlemen that work here to anyone.

I went in today thinking I was going to have to spend money I really didnt have. But come to find out the car problems I thought I had turned out to be nothing at all. Thank God. The employees were so friendly and wouldnt charge me for taking a extensive look at my car to make sure there wasnt any major concerns. I seriously appreciate them. Some car repair shops try and get over on people but I believe Monro on Erie Blvd is genuine. I will be back pretty soon to get my car Gracie some shoes(Tires).

Make an appointment and youll be happy! Walked in during my lunch and it was super busy, so I called to make an appointment. The manager Mike was very helpful and got me in later that day. Long story short, it took a little longer than expected, but I would prefer to wait on quality work then to just throw something on that wasnt the correct thing. This is an honest, neighborhood shop. Mike cares about his staff and his customers, and should be recognized for going above and beyond what is expected! Excellent service!

Went for an alignment and oil change, waited 2 hours. I was told it was less of an alignment issue and more of a unevenly worn tire and uneven brake issue. Representative brought me out to the car several times to show me said wear, I told the rep several times I do not see any of the wear he was describing and pointing at and do not want to look at the vehicle again. He ended up telling me I needed all new tires and brakes. I asked for the after print out of the alignment after completion, rep told me it was too late and he couldnt (I asked for this while the car was up in the air and being aligned).Car was still horribly aligned. So I took it to the subaru dealership, I asked them to check the tires and brakes. ALL WERE ACCEPTABLE with absolutely nothing wrong! I did not need, and will not need new tires or brakes anytime soon. Furthermore, the adjusting bolts had obviously not been moved according to subie mechanic. I had the subaru mechanic write all of this up, called corporate and am in the process of submitting the write ups from subaru and getting my money back.Terribly disappointed. If you want to get taken advantage of, this is the shop for you.

I had a brake light come on while on vacation. I took it to them and they promptly looked at it. After spending some real time investigating they determined that it was a faulty sensor. I didnt have time to get it fixed so they didnt charge me. Very kind and helpful.

Great prices, $78 taxes included to mount, balance and install 4 tires that Id bought online. Nice location, right beside Mello Velo cafe so you can grab a bite or a drink while your car is being worked on. Ended up waiting longer than planned with an appointment but they threw in 2 new wiper blades for free which I badly needed.

Great service!! The manager brought me to my car to show me exactly what my issues were. And explained it to me so I understood everything. I know nothing about cars but, I fully understand what was done to my car and why. Thank you Joe!

I went there again recently to get air in my tires because the light was on. The mechanic noticed one tire was much lower than the others and Joe agreed to check the tire out. They found something stuck in my tire and patched it. I was impressed with their promptness and attention to detail. It never seems like you’re issue isn’t important.

Found out this place is recently under new management! I went to get an engine light checked because it’s close to my job. The manager is so knowledgeable and didn’t pressure me at all. He actually looked up what I needed and found out there was a recall and told me what to do to get it done for free with the dealership.

Tires were a good value and install time was ok.

Had a great experience. I called the morning of for a check up before a road trip and an oil change and they took me in. They showed me some possible problems with the brakes and suggested I change them. No pressure, which is a great way to do business.

Great service, they work around me and explained everything in detail before work was done and the labor was done quickly but efficiently.

Here it is Thursday my only day off for the week and Ive been running on my battery for the last 3 days because my alternator went no other place would take me until Monday I called Joe up at Erie Boulevard and Lodi he took me in as soon as he could got my vehicle done within a few hours and had me on my way!! Ive only let Monro Muffler touch any vehicle Ive ever owned but at a different location but after services today I think Im going to make this my new location for service in the future!

I do not recommend. I got brake pads. Rotors and calipers and I happened to notice them today they look rusted. Not sure if they changed everything or just my brake pads but charged me for everything. I thought I got a free oil change but didnt get a sticker in window for next time to change. No mechanic on site. DONT LEAVE YOUR CAR there

Mechanic used a blow torch to remove a stripped bolt and knowingly caused almost $800 in damage to the rim and wheel bearing. They seem perfectly comfortable scamming customers into paying for damage caused by their negligence. I do not recommend their services.

I am very disappointed with this garage and company. I brought my car in for a routine wheel alignment and bearing replacement, only to be told that my transmission had mysteriously died while my car was on the rack. This sounded extremely fishy to me, as I had driven the car in with no transmission problem presenting. I had the car towed to a family friends garage, where it was discovered that the technician at Monro had broken a cv joint while servicing my car, and opted to blame the transmission rather than to re-check his work. Monro has agreed to reimburse me for the other mechanics bill, plus the tow, but I have yet to receive the check(and it has been over a month). I will not be returning to this shop.

I went to the shop today on 1-14-19 I needed an inspection done. The man at the counter was not Joe so I asked about Joe because I normally do my business with Joe, the man told me he no longer worked at this location. I then asked to have my car inspected and the man said that there would not be an inspector until tomorrow. I then told him that I had snow tires put on my car recently and one of them was leaking. He looked at me and said Okay? I then told him that my other tires were there and that Joe put them in storage for me. He then said Well they are not supposed to be stored here and I hope your name is on them. He then walked away and into the garage. Joe always took care of me and that is why I was doing business at this location. This guy didnt give me the time of day, I will no longer be going to this location and I will not be going to any Monroe stores anymore because of this. The least he could of done was look at my tire that I spent $600 dollars on and fixed the leak. I will be going back in the spring to get my tires that were put in storage and they better be there. As far as a customer you lost me this morning, I will be sure to tell people on social media and my YouTube page about this experience. I am very disappointed I thought I finally had a place I could trust.

Tried to swindle me into a $200 repair (Tie rod) during a routine oil change. Suspicious of the recommendation and of the odd, inaccurate information I was given about what would happen if I did not get it fixed, on top of overhearing the clerk complain about a lull in business and profit on the phone as I sat in the waiting area, I told them I would hold off on it. Maybe they thought I was a complete idiot because Im a girl? Had my dad check it, and he didnt see anything wrong with it, and at my next oil change at a different Monro, nothing was said. Needless to say, it has never come up since. Will not be going to this particular store again.
