Cannot thank the staff at this Mavis location enough. I was in Syracuse for a Baby Shower and got a flat tire. I called in a panic to see if they could help. Justin was kind, understanding, and got me right in. They replaced my tire quickly and got me back on the road. What started out as a horrible situation, they helped make it better! This location is conveniently located near the Syracuse DMV. I had just gotten my car registered in NY (after moving from GA) and needed to get an inspection done. Unfortunately, their inspector was out today and they are fully booked for the next few days (inspection is time-sensitive). To ensure that Id walk away with something, this nice young man at the front desk offered to put my new plates on my vehicle for me! He did so; when I asked him how much I owed him, he told me not to worry about it. I wish I had caught this young mans name, but he is a slender, Caucasian man who wears glasses and has a positive demeanor. Fantastic customer service. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!(Visited on September 22, 2021 at approximately 1:45PM EST).

The mechanics aren’t bad people they are polite over all BUT the shop only has 1 of everything... I’ll explain I make in appointment for an inspection at 12 but get a call there’s only 1 inspector so my inspection has to be pushed back granted this happens.. got it done by 3 .. I call today today needing my 2 front tires replaced they can’t help me because they only have 1 person who knows how to put on tires ?!?! But isn’t this MAVIS TIRES?? You’d think they’d teach every employee how to put on tires but NOPE guy tells me only 1 person & he leaves at 1 ??? So after 1 you can’t get tires put on at this location... But Taft road took my appointment smoothly... I think it’s best they start teaching each other new things so jobs can get done after they 1 person who does they 1 job leaves !

I had gotten a flat on my truck tire that was unfixable. Mavis was able to give me a good price and get me in to install my new tires the next day, even with my pain in the neck tire size. They even reinstalled my spare tire back underneath the truck so I didnt have to do it.

The gentleman I dealt with, Justin, was professional and courteous. The entire staff seemed focused and busy. Ive been in MANY shops in my life and the structure that they have is one of the best Ive seen. All employees seemed to be in a good mood and were cooperative. They accommodated my needs and special requests and went above and beyond by bagging up my winter wheels and tires and loaded them into the car for me without me even asking. In addition, I mistakenly forgot to bring in centering rings for my summer wheels and Justin insisted that I go home and bring them back for his team install them free of charge. That kind of service is getting harder and harder to find these days.

The was fast and had a good attitude towards the customers. I just had a flat tire and they got me in and out just like that. Thank you Glen and JB.

The call center scheduled me for an appointment when they were already booked full for the day... Tim from the location called me and spoke to me directly and I explained that I was not going to just sit around for 6 hours waiting for my car to get fixed and inspected with a 13 month old, so he was extremely polite and he offered me what was available. I would give the LOCATION itself 5 stars but I had to factor in the call center...

Got me in on a Saturday when I suddenly got a flat tire. So appreciative to them.

Good at first. They got me in quick for a front end alignment. I just replaced both outer tie rods on my car myself yesterday with the help of a certified mechanic whom helped me with my aftermarket exhaust. He did say the inner tie rod had a little bit a play in it. But not enough to worry about at the moment. Well, mavis decided it wouldnt pass muster and needed to be replaced before they would align it. I asked how much to replace the 18 dollar part. The manager says with the alignment your looking at 230.00 bucks!! I said nope . Take it down off lift I will fix it myself... They couldnt just do the alignment and be happy with the money from that he had to try and make more off me. Im not dumb i know they work off commission. Im good, i will go elsewhere for an alignment.

Brought my work van in to have the snow tires taken off and have the all seasons put back on. Was told by the manager it would be less than an HR to complete. So 2 hrs later still not done.... The van was on the lift for over an hour and a half.... Absolutely no reason to take so long. Was the only vehicle the mechanic was working on...

Got me in quick. When I came to pick up my car the price had doubled from what it had been the previous 2 times Ihad come in for the same service. When I inquired as to why, I was told the other 2 times I had the service done they were putting in the wrong code?I was told I needed inner and outer tie rods and rear shocks. When I took it to my mechanic I only needed 1 tie rod and front struts.I hate it when they try to take advantage of women.
