Buying my 2018 Nissan Rogue form Josh was hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. I fell in love with this car but needed to be at a specific monthly payment or I was going to have to walk away from it. Josh and the team were able to get me into this amazing vehicle well making sure I was comfortable with my monthly payments. I now feel like I have a safe vehicle to get through these crazy Syracuse winters!

I had a recall issue with the starter system. I had the problem the day the notice in the mail arrived, in late August. I called Jason at the Maguire Dealership on West Genesee St. in Syracuse, NY. He informed me that service would be booked until well into September. I said that I would accept the date he of earliest availability. Jason also gave me the number of the towing service to use. For convenience I had the towed there so if an opening occurred, it would be there. A few days later, well before the end of August, Jason contacted me to say that they were able to get the car serviced and fix the issue. Today is September 1. I have had the car a few days an it starts and runs beautifully.

Lack of customer service. I was “helped” by Justin who made it very clear he did not want to be at work and us being there was an interruption to his day. I went in after checking the inventory online and I knew the exact car I wanted to see. Luckily it was still on the lot. Justin took us out to see it and immediately said that they had the same car in another color which was a much better one but that it was in the shop being worked in because of maintenance issues. Not a great way to sell someone a car. As soon as he unlocked it the vehicle smelled like cigarettes, enough to leave you with a migraine. He could not answer any of the questions we had about service, maintenance issues, car history, but would continuously ask us if that was the car we wanted to buy. We went back into the lobby where he presented maintenance packages to purchase and price points for financing. I thanked him for his help and told him I would think on it and he right away was not pleased. He threw his arms down, rolled his eyes and as I was speaking to him he got up and walked away. I called after him and told him that I wasn’t done speaking, he yelled “yeah okay”, and continued to walk away from me. I have never experienced anything like this. The unprofessional, rude and childish behavior because he wasn’t going to close a sale right at that moment was unbelievable. He needs better training and perhaps a few courses on customer service and over coming objections.

Scheduled maintenance add oil change and tire rotation which went very well and was done and a good amount of time. Only problem was they washed my car afterwards it came out dirtier than when I took it in. Im very meticulous about my car they washed it but never dried it park it out in the sun nothing but water spots. Overall for the maintenance I was very pleased.

Buying a car can be stressful, especially a new car, I went to Maguire since my wife is now on her third lease. They made the whole process simple and easy. Rich worked with us the whole day between test drives, all of the paperwork, etc. When the wifes lease is up, well be back. In the waiting room, there was a TV which wasnt on and we were told the remote was lost. There were People magazines but everyone of them were in Spanish, which I dont speak/read. There was a coffee pot but no coffee.The service dept failed to reset the maintenance, so by the time I got home, it came on that car needed maintenance. I also saw that my car was out dated for inspection, I thought that the service dept, would check the sticker, but I guess I was wrong.

Recently, my daughter and I purchased a used vehicle from Maguire Nissan. A few weeks prior, I visited this dealership and test drove a new vehicle. The car was very nice, but just not a perfect match for me. My salesmans name was David at that time. Although I did not purchase that particular vehicle, I kept his number handy just in case anything changed. I ended up contacting him in regards to the vehicle my daughter ended up buying. Shes only 19, so I did most of the dealing. We ended up very happy with our deal and my daughter is very happy with her car. Ill be honest when I say that I am not the easiest person to deal with when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. I cannot thank David enough for the way he handled things from start to end. Although I cannot speak for the other dealers at Maguires, I can assure you that David will do everything possible for you to make everything feel right.

My experience with going to a Nissan dealership in Maryland Virginia left me with a bad taste in my mouth with going to get my vehicle serviced...but Maguire Nissan is giving back the faith Id lost...Everyone has been very helpful. I wasnt able to take my car home, but they set me up with a loaner until my vehicle is fixed. I also was given a shuttle ride home. Having to take your vehicle in to have service for something serious or not is stressful but they left me feeling as though I left my car in reliable hands.

My girlfriend and I ended up coming here about a month ago to look at some cars and personally, I was blown away with how nice and respectful they were. Josh was the sales associate who worked with us and gave detailed information on all the questions we asked and even on questions we didnt ask. Service Manager (Brandon) and the Service Department was great and really helped me out even though I was not a regular customer. We were traveling for a short weekend getaway when my Pathfinders engine started to fail us. A quick google search for the closest dealer and I was on the phone with Brandon asking if I could bring in the car. He informed us he could diagnose the vehicle but was not sure it could be fixed by the end of the day which was a fair and honest statement. We stopped in and left the car with them. (Luckily we were only 20 minutes shy of our destination and had friends pick us up.) It was a Friday and I honestly expected that I would be forced to rent a car and return the following weekend for my car. To my surprise, not only did the service department diagnose my car, but they had the part I needed and were able to fit it in their schedule and fix it that Friday afternoon. Brandon promptly called towards the end of the day with the good news and I was able to pick my car up on Saturday. Repair was done correctly and the car runs great again. I know how much I dislike having surprises and extra work show up on a Friday afternoon, but Brandon and his service department came through for us and got the job done. Thanks again for helping us out in a courteous and professional manner.

My 2019 Nissan Armada would not start. I called AAA, because we thought it was the battery. When they arrived we found that is wasnt the battery, and the starter was in tact. The driver recommended that we tow to Maguire bc it was the closest. We are happy with the outcome. They even repaired an issue with a recent recall, along with swiftly discovering the issue associated with our truck. Thank you.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! My 21yr old son made the mistake of choosing to buy a vehicle from McGuire in syracuse. They knew the car was a lemon. He didnt have it a month and it needed 3000.00 worth of work, of which conveniently was not covered. They never inspected the vehicle thoroughly or did they knowing the problem.?He had to walk away from this 2003 infiniti owing 2000.00 and no car! The owner said they would not fix the vehicle, if this car dealership could do this to a young man who saved 5000 on a down payment for his first car and ended up paying on a loan w ithout a car, what will they do to you? The owner is rich and my son was poor. I felt helpless, it went on deaf ears. Stay away, buyer beware!

Had the most terrible experience at Maguire Nissan with the most dishonest and unappreciative dealership I have ever dealt with.My wife and I bought our 4th vehicle from Maguire Nissan :Maxima in 2005, Rogue in 2010, Rogue in 2016 and Rogue 2019 about three weeks ago.One week after the purchase the paint on our 2019 Rogue started to peel off, my wife went to Maguire Nissan to get the defective car replaced, but they refused to help her. All they were willing to do is to repaint the car.Who would want to keep a defective brand new car after couple weeks of purchase? If I wanted a damaged and defective car I would buy it from Salvage Action for half a price and fix it myself.Recently, Nissan of North America had identicatical Peeling Paint Class Action Lawsuit, which they had to settle for 1.7 million dollars (Nelson vs Nissan North America). However, they didn’t learn the lesson and still knowing sell defected cars to customers (see picture).They also failed to tell us that the car had 600 miles on, before we actually came to pick the vehicle up and sold it to us as a new vehicle.first, the salesperson lied and told us that those miles are from test drives ( takes about 2 weeks of driving in a city or 11 hrs on hwy to drive 600 miles). When he realized that no one believes him, he admitted that the car was driven from out of state instead of being transported on a truck.Will never go to this dealership again, I would rather drive out of state to buy a car, then give Maguire my business again.If English is your second language, don’t even think about going to Maguire Nissan, because they’ll exploit all your weaknesses as much as they can.And Remember Happy Customers don’t usually write reviews. Showed up this morning for the FREE MULTIPOINT INSPECTION that I signed up for only to find that it actually is only free with service. They tried to charge me for a service that was advertised as free. Nowhere in booking my appointment did they say that it required service to be purchased. Cant believe that they tried to con me into paying for a service they advertised as free, AND that they were rude while doing it. Took my car in to check my EBS and a state inspection. I received a call later in the day stating nothing wrong with EBS, however they said I failed me inspection and a cost to fix was over $1400. I did not trust this dealership so I took it to simmons rockwell dealer in Elmira, where I purchased the car and they did a full inspection and maintenance check with the documentation from maguire and they found absolutely nothing wrong/ broken and passed my inspection. I fear they were trying to gouge me for money and will not recommend or go back to maguire. In case of an accident I would rather have my car towed 100 miles to Simmons than take it 10 to Maguire.

Maguire nissan of Syracuse is the worst Nissan dealership in New York, the technician have no knowledge on how to service the vehicle and the service advisor is even worse, I scheduled an appointment to get front brake pads and rotors, brake fluid change and tire rotation, the technician broke my rear brake caliper bleeder screw when performing the brake fluid change and the service advisor told that I have to pay for a new brake caliper plus pay the labor to replace the rear brake caliper because the technician could not fix the issue . I should not have to pay for it, the nissan technician broke it the dealership must pay for it. The only reason I got my brake service done at the dealership because I thought they know how to perform the job correctly I was wrong, I need a refund for $207 this is not right I paid extra for a service that I did not need, my rear brake caliper was working perfectly fine.

Horrible, we purchased a vehicle from then in March 2020 and are currently have to put more than 2,000 into the vehicle because we were sold a car with a bad starter. It is a 2017 vehicle with just over 40,000 miles. This is something that should never have happened and we would never recommend this dealership again.

The price of their vehicles are reasonable but that is where the positives end. I was outright lied to at least 3 times in less than a week of dealing with this place. They were deceitful in that they withheld information to try and get the sale and definitely were not out for the customer. They were more concerned with making a dollar than actually making sure I got the car I was looking for. The time I wasted with these people are hours out of my life I can never get back. To boot it’s been almost two weeks and I still have not gotten my deposit back.

Went with my son to help him look for his first car. Son told them what his budget was. They came back with an offer $70 higher per month than what he said he could afford on a car. Also had a credit report pulled at another dealership and the other dealerships credit report showed a rate 10 points higher than the one Nissan showed us. Didnt feel like I could trust them.
