The lady here needs to be fired. I tried one of the slushees and I didn’t like so I threw out the cup. She charged me for a whole slushee anyway due to a “waste of a cup” shut up.

Nice clean well stocked convenience store in downtown Sycamore. Very nice attendant at 10 pm. He seemed to know most of his customers and was friendly and courteous to me as a stranger. Same slightly high prices as every 7-11, but you know that before you walk in the door. Sufficient parking and easy access from State St.

The lady that works here is really mean. Not sure if she is owner or the wife of the owner. Im surprised by how bad she treats people in a customer orientated business with repeat customers. Rarely ever go here because of it.

HORRIBLE PLACE! The lady was so so rude! This is the first time I have experienced something like this! This place is not recommended only if you like to be treated rudely!

The female owner is a scam artist and has zero customer service skills boycott this 7-11. She needs to be taught some respect or go back to her country. I feel sorry for her husband, hes always nice and accommodating

I was there a few years ago with my friends and we didnt know what to get, so I picked up a sandwich asking them if we should get it, they said no so I put it down. When we got up to the register a few minutes later the guy who works there asked me if I put it back, then told me to show him my pockets (how could I have put a sandwich in my pocket) and I was like no of coarse not, and he just gave me a dirty look and acted like he didnt accuse me of stealing. I was like 12 by the way.

Clean, well stocked. The staff have always been polite and kind to me and my family.No 7-11 anywhere in the USA has a public bathroom. Unfortunate that people are ao rediculous.All of these other racist reviews will be removed, reported and erased. Shame on all of them, grow up.

I live in the neighborhood and go here a LOT. Although there is one rude lady who works weekends the rest of them more than make up for it. Nice hardworking people. 🤗

Check your bank accounts people! This place will charge your credit/debit card multiple times and then not care when you call to get it resolved. Pick another convenience store.

It really depends on who is working that day because the owner and the other man is fine. But the Hispanic woman follows my kids and is rude and kicked them out for looking around. 0 / 10 Would not ever visit again...

My granddaughter and three friends (African American NIU students) were singled out by the white cashier. They were deciding what they were going to purchase when the cashier (overlooking the white teens who were actually stealing) called out to to them, Are you girls gonna buy anything? When they responded that they were deciding what they wanted she told them to hurry up and buy something or they would need to leave. When the questioned why she singled them out, she threatened to call the police on them. The white teens even questioned the manner in which she spoke to my granddaughter and her friends. The four of them left the store. The white teens followed them out and offered to share their stolen goods with the four NIU students. The manager spoke with a parent of one of the NIU students. The manager offered to have them come in to receive and apology from the manager, (not the cashier), said the cashier would go through sensitivity training and offered a FREE PIZZA! I find it insulting that the cashier will not offer an apology and that they think the humiliation the NIU students suffered can be assuaged with a frozen pizza from 7-11. This did not appear to be this womans first time offending students of color. The young women said she seemed very comfortable as she sneered at them and threatened to call the police. As I told the corporate office, when people behave in this way, they are hoping for an armed response that will end in someone losing their life. This should be unacceptable at any 7-eleven, including the one in Sycamore, IL. As I read some of the comments, I wonder if the rude woman is the same person. It would seem that customer service is not her calling. She should be given a job where she does not come in contact with the public.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THE SYCAMORE 7-11! One ☆ is WAY MORE than they deserve! I am RAGING right now! I know it sounds stupid... but, last summer it was hot, I promised my kids a popsicle. I stopped in at the Sycamore 7-11. EVERY POPSICLE WAS BROKEN IN HALF! I brought it to the attention of the owner. Who shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do. They were all that way. SOMEONE had broken them all. I was obviously irritated and asked if she was going to give a discount on them then. She said NO ... so I went and got a small cup for my then 4 year old to eat his popsicle out of since it was smashed. She then tried to CHARGE me for the empty paper cup..... I decided I wouldnt shop there again. Its been almost a year. Today my children wanted to go to the 7-11(in sycamore) because they were having special- fill any cup for $1.50. We took the kids. I didnt want to go in so I gave my cup to my kids to fill for me. The same female owner was in there. She wouldnt allow my children or husband to fill one for me. So I went in against my better judgement. The clerk behind the counter was very nice and apologized for having to hace me come in. However the owner -she stood there with her arms crossed shaking her head NO at me. I just looked at her and she pointed to a sign in the window that said Im guessing said something about one per person. I said thats not my issue. I havent come in to this store since you were so incredibly RUDE to me. She shook her head Yes and said thats fine in a smug way. I tried to remind her of our encounter where she stomped across the store quoting a story of an account that she must have had with someone else... because it was NOT the one she had with me. She then said whatever, dont come back. I dont care..... and I said dont worry... I WONT. The lack of respect for her customers much less the lack of care of her store and overall attitude towards anyone other than herself will keep myself and ANY MEMBER OF MY FAMILY from every stepping foot in that SYCAMORE 7-11... ever! SO RUDE!

The store was kinda old on the outside...didnt pay much attention to the inside. stopped for a drink and to use the restroom. Walked in and aksed where it was....the lady rudely stated that they didnt have public restrooms. Too bad...I dont have 7 Eleven money today either!

The woman that works here is unnecessarily rude. She barely makes eye contact and makes people never want to shop there again. The store is filthy and the people looks as if they dont bathe either. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else.
