I ran through some minor repairs on my own, but I knew I’d need to get more work done.David is great, because he crosses one bridge at a time and will let you know the numbers. People leave bad reviews, because they don’t plan ahead or fully understand the kind of vehicles they’re purchasing e.g. BMWs which will drain your pockets.Always budget your repairs and maintenance and expect to do the latter every 3 months depending on your vehicle and how much you drive. Automotive repairs can be expensive, but even if you go somewhere cheaper — it might not be as thorough as you think and a quick-fix could run you more repairs in the long-run. David understands this, and will let you know the most immediate needed repairs that way you can plan ahead.

I called the shop this morning and spoke to David. I was advised by someone previously that I may have a transmission issue or need to have my fluid changed. After speaking with him however he advised me to stop by so he could take a look at my van. He test drove my van, checked my transmission fluid and had it topped off. He told me what to do in the future to avoid the issue I was having and checked my oil level also. He then sent me on my way and didnt charge me a thing...everyone at this shop was very respectful and friendly. Ill definitely be returning in the future.

Went in because one of my engine lights came out. Turns out the pressure in my tires was low. But David made sure that u would leave with the peace of mind that everything else was okay. They checked my car and did not charge me a thing. I wish I would have had cash to give the guy a tip. Most shops try to take advantage of women that come in not knowing a thing about cars. I had a pleasant experience here. I called to inquire about my Saab 9-3 and the windshield wipers not working. David said to bring the car on by, and they would take a look. I waited in the lobby (yes, the Froot Loops smell is real aha). A few minutes later, they let me know that the Saab-specific part would have the ordered and delivered. (Not news to me, since I was accustomed to the elusive inventory of Saab parts.) I came back the next morning, and I was in and out within 45 minutes. I have been a customer of West Broward Auto since 2003. I have had at least 12 different cars of mine and my familys serviced there. David is one of the few Honest mechanics. You can trust what he tells you and he will always give you all options along with honest advice about the best course to follow. Their prices are fair and their work is done expertly. West Broward is the only positive thing about having to get your car fixed if there is anything positive about having car problems. The experience is always pleasant and it starts when you are greeted by wonderful Lorie when you enter.

What a great experience. The first thing you get hit with when you walk through the door is the smell of Fruit Loops. Then you get greeted by a wonderful gorgeous woman. They replaced my serpentine belt at a very reasonable price. I am also a mechanic but dont have a garage anymore to do my repairs, this repair was done perfect. I highly recommend this facility.

Ive been going to West Broward Auto for years for regular maintenance on my Tacoma. Theres nothing that needs to be said other than Davids professionalism is top notch, the prices are fair, and the work is done accurately and quickly. You wont find a more honest mechanic in this area, so dont think twice, bring your vehicle here. He will always tell you what is priority to fix and maintain and what might be worth waiting till later, when most mechanics would just upsell, upsell, upsell.And, to the gentlemen with the Acura who left a poor review, theres no way you found OEM timing belt parts for $200. They run about $500-$600, plus you have 4-6 hours of labor to replace it. The price quoted was more than fair for genuine parts and anyone quoting you less was selling you junk that will just wear out faster so youd have to come back more frequently for repairs. Its that simple.Choose West Broward Auto, and you will have a reliable vehicle repair, every time. Im a geologist and use my truck daily for my work. Its never let me down and West Broward Auto has helped to keep making that possible.

Went to them recommended by a friend who has been with them for 25 years for airconditioner replacement for my car. It costs me $200 in labour more than the other auto shop in Davie I went to. By the way, the costs of the replacement part is the same in both places. Trust worthy ? Reliable ? Reasonable? NOT SO !!

I have been going to West Broward Auto for many years and have always been extremely satisfied, both with the service and just as important, with the way I am treated. David is an extremely honest man and came highly recommended to me and I have never been sorry to bring my cars there. He helped me to keep my older car on the road safely without having to go overboard on the work. Everyone there is always polite and its great to have a mechanic I feel I can trust! I dont know what the problem was with the person who said stay away from there; perhaps he had a mis-communication.

I have had my Crossfire in and my wifes Honda fit. I have received excellent service every time. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good place for good repair at a reasonable cost.

I went because my car was shaking between 40-60 mph. I explained that I read online other lexus owners complained of the same issue and said it was a defective axle that Lexus wouldnt admit to. She said they would inspect it and see if any recalls. Later she called and said it was warped tires making it shake and I needed brakes because they were making a loud noise that she could hear inside the office. News to me. I never heard a noise from my brakes. I said I would order the tires online and I guess I had to do the brakes. $356 just for the one set of brakes!! It would be over $600 for 2 tires with it. I took my car to a different mechanic because I felt like they were not honest with me and expensive, had 2 new tires put on since they were warped and guess what......car still shaking! New mechanic charges $20 per tire to mount and balance. My new mechanic test drove car after putting tires on, came in and said, Hey your car is shaking between 40-60 mph, you need new front axles. WOW he figured it out in 2 seconds without me saying a word to him. If you really want an honest, fair mechanic go see Carlos at Plantation Car Care. He told me it would be cheaper for me to order the parts and bring them to him and it would be $150 for the labor to install. I will only go to him from now on.

You get what you pay for! I was recommended to them by a former co-worker after I had taken my car to a different mechanic shop and was ripped off. I found them to be very nice, very informative, and very helpful. As far as pricing goes, any shop has a standard labor charge of $99.00 so whatever the PARTS ARE + THE LABOR IS WHAT YOU WILL PAY! IVE NEVER BEEN OVERCHARGED! Their turn around time is extremely fast, and they treat their customers like people! Ive been going for the over two years now and would recommend anyone to go there!

Ive been going to Dave for over 18 years. He is the most honest and trustworthy mechanic I have ever met. I have referred dozens of people to him and they all agree that he and his team are the best.

Doing business with David Cohn since 1995. Twenty years and at least a dozen vehicles later, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Our business relationship began with my familys random discovery of this professional repair shop because of an emergency no-start where David treated us with kindness. It continues because the quality and service is consistently excellent.

This is why Dave and West Broward has such a great following - I needed a flat tire plugged for a friend who broke down while visiting me - brought the tire in, plugged and inflated in less than 15 minutes - when it was done Dave looked at me and asked whether I was just rolling it out, when I said yes - he told me to go at no charge! I fully expected to pay something, it little things like this that bring me back with not only my car but reccomend everyone I know in the area to use West Broward. More businesses need to learn how to build such good repeat business relationships.

I will say staff is pleasant with a sense of humor polite so far I think they are honest I just wish they had better prices I will keep you posted on the honesty with an update ok heres an update I needed a water pump replaced they also said you might as well replace the timing belt and thermostat I said ok estimate was 1,186.00 for a 20yr old Acura I checked for parts prices was under 200 at max price and lower quotes as well so it,s almost 1000.00 on labor and tax come on I must have had take advantage written on my forehead definitely overpriced dont believe me do your homework and you will see
