Horrible experience. He had one job and gave me my car back with multiple others and told me “ that has nothing to do with what I fixed”. He took longer than expected. And when I told him about the problem he ignored me. Very unprofessional. Don’t go !!

Had to get my truck towed in for alternator on the way home from vacation. Very fast service,all around great guy, very honest, and will recommend to anyone!

They had my truck since March 31,2020 paid for an engine and was told my truck would be done in two weeks. Two weeks come go by to get my truck the shop is not open and when I called nobody picked up the phone. My truck has been rained on because nobody cover up where he took my hood.

I took my car for a head gasket replacement was told it would be ready in a week but instead he had my car for 4 months going on 5 months. It been plenty days I had to stop by to let my hood down because it was raining!! He had my car sitting on top of rims. NO ONE is working on my car at all. He’s never there I just wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!! They only want MONEY and not do anything

Where do I even start. I take my car in to get the timing chain and tensioner replaced and multiple more problems popped up over the course of a MONTH! He definitely had no idea what he was doing with my car as to top it off he put the wrong sealant on which caused a leak and my car is still not running!! I had to get it towed out of there where he claimed the only thing left was a sensor. I paid the dealership to tear open the engine and find out that the chain is still stretched, tensioner is still maxed out and there are now 4 bent valves in my cylinder head, which was not there before!! This guy cost me an extra $2500 in engine damage!! so in all I was without my car for over a month, my car is no longer running, and my engine is was internally damaged, costing me an extra $2500! I wouldnt recommend my WORST enemy to go here! terrible service, he never answers his phone so you dont know whats going on most of the time. I had to get rides to his shop multiple times just to see what was going on and get the news that something else was wrong. He also just tells you what you wanna hear, multiple times he told me my car would be ready by the end of the day or in the morning at the latest and it never was, then he wouldnt answer his phone. I would give this business negative stars if i could!!!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE! SAVE YOURSELF! RUINED MY SONS CAR AND HAS MADE NO AMENDS !

We were lied to.Came in with a coolant issue and overheating. The owner said he went and got a new thermostat from a diesel shop and its good to go. Ummm NO.... he drilled holes in the thermostat that was already in the truck. And he put the wrong coolant in. So now we have to put in a new thermostat and flush all the coolant. And figure out what the actual problem is that we came in for. He was totally dishonest.

Terrible company. Buyer beware. Has nothing to do with anything on personal level. This post was made when you trust a person with your life and they take your money and not fix what they say. Then put your family in danger. So no this is nothing personal this a professional level. And yes I can re-write my review.

Coates Auto Repair is a fantastic facility. My 2014 Ford Fiesta was obliterated in a crash. I was afraid that my car would never be the same. My fears were ridiculous, my car came back as good as new. Lynn and his team individually painted the pieces of the car that needed replaced. Top notch job done by kind, understanding people. Coated Auto Repair made the whole nightmare much better. They went above and beyond for me and I know that they would do the same for any one else.
