We’ve been searching for about a month for some kitchen cabinet knobs from various stores in our area. We decided to try Westbury hardware around 11:45am on 9/18/21. We finally found what we’ve been seeking and want to buy 29 knobs for our kitchen cabinets, but there was only 3 in stock. We tried to find sales assistants on the floor, but couldn’t locate anyone to assist us. My spouse then went to the register area and spoke with a female who I didn’t see, but when she came back, I asked her if she found someone to assist us. She said the lady couldn’t assist us QUOTE: “because I have a bad leg and can’t walk far, so try to find someone”! SERIOUSLY! So I went up to the register and there was a young man there in his CELL PHONE, I asked him if he could assist us, and he said that he couldn’t because he must be at the register for customers. REALLY! But I guess it’s okay to be playing on your cellphone. I went back to the area, and we eventually found a gentleman willing to assist us. We showed him what we wanted, but he said that the items were not tagged correctly and said that he didn’t understand how this happened but assisted us in what we wanted. He walked us up to the register and order us 29 knobs for our kitchen cabinets and said that they would be in on Tuesdays truck. He took down our information and was very helpful and friendly. I asked him if the store offered a military discount ad he said yes, and I showed him my military ID Card. After the transaction, I asked him his name so I could give HIM a good review, not the other two lazy worthless employees and he said that his name was Jim, and he’s been with this store fir 29-years. THANK YOU JIM! Of note: if Dr. Lee Westbury is associated with this business, I know you personally from when I was a school teacher in the early 2000’s after I retired from the military, and you were also my daughters school principal at Cane Bay High School…I suggest that you speak with that lady and young man that I described who were useless, and let Jim know that he was a great assistants to us today. I wanted to post two pictures of these two lazy worthless employees, but I will refrain and give you a chance to correct their unwillingness and unwanted behaviors. (Bad leg female and the other surfing his cellphone).

Don’t ask them for references on who cause come work on your house they will give you the name victor Lozen. I have been waiting for 7 months after he start leveling my house and some other work and it’s still not done. I made the mistake again by paying him up front. He’s always has an excuse why he’s not here to do the job. I will never use him again to do anything to my house. I’ve tried to get my money back from Westbury because I paid them and they refused to give me my money back.

It was nice and big, but it is off the main road and I pass it because I didnt see it. The trailers block the view of the building.

I have shopped Westbutys Hardware on several occasion, and they have always been helpful and polite. And every time I have been able to find the service and product that I had been needing for my home projects.

They were very busy when I went at one. I wanted a door, went straight to them and a gentleman asked if he could help. Told him what I wanted then he showed a few that they had, new doors came in as they were unloading a truck I choose to wait so I could see different doors guy said he would be right back after he went to help another customer, guess he got stuck. Mr Westbury came by and finished helping me, took the size, and style down got my info and promised I would get a call. Overall not a bad experience, they were swamped with customers, which is a great thing at this time. Am I going back you bet your boots.

What a great store! The best hardware store around with great folks who think outside the box. Even if they don’t know or have what you need, there’s usually someone who they can get you in touch with who knows what to do and how to fix whatever needs fixin’.

Westburys is the place for hardware especially mobile home supplies.need a window screen replaced? this is one of the few places that will do it while you wait. the employees there are the same faces youve been seeing there for years. the kind of people that say call me back if you cant figure it out and then really help if you call.

I have been twice now. The store is dark in places and seems to be unsafe. Things are always piled up everywhere and shelves are just a laughing mess. Today three people working at the front acted like they hated to help me.The shortest lady stayed on her phone and was totally rude. Never go back.

Westbury Hardware is the friendliest hardware store I have ever been in. They are not like the big chains where the employees walk by you. They always stop to see if you can be helped. I also love the fact that if they dont have what you need, they offer to order it; if they cant get it they will let you know where you can get it.
