I dont like going to Big Lots. They are never good.But I had to stop and pick up something today. Oh my!! This IS the BEST Big Lots I have ever been! This place was clean, a lot of room to move around in. It was very nicely laid out and very organized. I was ask if I needed help. A very nice selection of furniture. I will be returning and doing some shopping here more.

I went into Big Lots today to pick up a few things and it was a great experience. Jordan & Angel were so helpful and I ended up with exactly what I went in for plus some (of course, always plus some lol). This is my favorite Big Lots location and although it can get busy I don’t mind waiting the couple of minutes...it’s worth it for the clean store, stocked shelves and helpful associates. When you have an awesome store everyone wants to go there...nothing wrong with that.

Bought a Broyhill corner group. Had to wait for an employee to show up but eventually one did and we had a pleasant experience. The price was better than the furniture stores and the same delivery times as well. We are looking forward to getting our new seating group soon!

Clean, fairly well stocked and easy to navigate. Not very crowded and good parking.

The store located on Dorchester Road was hard to get to coming from Bacons Bridge Road down Dorchester Road other than that store was clean really easy to find stuff and the cashier she was great

Very poor customer service. We arrived to pick up prepaid mattresses. We were told at the register to come back later since no one was available to bring them out front. After speaking with the manager who failed to give his name, we were told that we would have to wait until the furniture truck was fully unloaded which would be 30 minutes or more. We (my disabled vet dad and I) were never told beforehand that we needed to come at a convenient time for them in order to pick up something we had already paid for. I even asked if they could just load it on a hand cart for me to take care of. Trying to coordinate a truck and a second set of hands to haul them home was already difficult enough. I may be back for this set of mattresses since theyre already paid for, but theyre never getting any business from us again. I do NOT recommend.

Havent been to a bug lots on a while and the layout and materials seem to be more home decor and mini furniture related. Prices have gone up on everyday items as well.

I absolutely love this new location for Big Lots. However my one complaint is not enough staff for the size of the store. I waited a while before anyone could answer a question about a purchase of a portable fireplace. Then when the employee arrived they were rushing me with information to get me out the door.I did take a look around the store and saw a lot of cottage farm items which are absolutely gorgeous for the pricing! They also had a lot of beautiful spiritual decor which is different and great to see. I ended up purchasing some beautiful pattern decor throw pillows and I already have received tons of compliments on. Please keep the variety coming in.The store is clean, organized and priced extremely fair. The parking lot is big and it’s a private lot. Tons of parking space the inky thing that needs improvement is better customer service.

We approached two employees working on the floor and asked if one of them could help us. Then we had to wait as they both ignored us and finally began to stared each other down I suppose competing for who is up for the task... I suppose the woman that did help us was a big help but it seemed it may not have been her job to do it....

I was able to find everything and the customer service was great. I will be back to the shop there again.

Tried to buy some furniture and the furniture manager did not have enough knowledge to explain the %20 off if you open a credit card then I asked the other lady who was talking to her a employee and she had no clue regarding anything??? The manager said wait Ill get a brochure to explain opening a credit card?? Ok well she never came back with the brochure. I was ready to buy some furniture, but I left. Poor customer service and not very knowledgeable in their own dept.

Big Lots is an old favorite. It has always been a go to for snacks, seasonings, and drinks. I have always found stuff I knew I need, but at times found stuff I didnt know I needed. The store has changed a lot within the past few years and seems like they are concentrating more on furniture and home decor. It has less of that treasure hunt feel it once did when it was stocked weekly with factory overruns and discontinued items. I still think it is a great store for the aforementioned items, and I will continue a shopper.

The staff at this store are SO friendly and helpful! Wish more retail had the attitude of these folks. Their inventory is good too!

I usually have an “okay” experience when shopping at this location. However, one of the managers, Tim, is very unprofessional and I will be taking further action. His overall attitude is less than desirable considering he works with the public and he finds it acceptable to speak in a condescending manner to customers and go so far as to mumble under his breath (to and/or about customers). He could afford to better manage his attitude. It’s a good thing he’s not always interacting with customers because this location would lose a lot more business if that was the case.

I had an excellet experience at this location. Alexandria in the furniture department was most helpful and extremely knowledgable. She was patient and kind. I really appreciated that! Ms. Dee was also a hit! She checked us out towards the end of our spree. She was delightful and even asked if I was military to receive a discount. All around, my visit was pleasant. I will continue to shop at this location.

Employees are slow.....but its a nice store at least. Lots of thing to look at while you wait to be helped.

This was an amazing experience! Got a few things. My Big Lots Card wouldnt work right so, the cashier patiently tried all my numbers and info. After that didnt work, she set me up for a whole new card. Then she told me a could pick out a free DVD from a track, because I was using my card to pay! The deal of the week. So, she patiently waited till I chose one, and put me through. Then, having a nice conversation,a customer heard the contents and joined in. We werent holding up traffic, there were plenty of employees tending to anybody else very quickly. I met these wonderful women in Big Lots, that I hope to meet and speak with again! The place is wonderful and so well organized and kept up! I love a friendly shopping store, cant wait to go back!!

Clean, not very busy but missing some product.

Big lotss website says they had 58 of a specific item I was looking for at the Summerville store. But when I get there, they had 0 in stock. The employee working didnt really help too much and just pointed me to where might be if they did have it.

Nice furniture at good prices. They had exactly what I was looking for, but it wasn’t in stock. And for some weird reason you can’t use their own store credit card on their own website...so I had to order in store. Not a problem, but after you pay there’s no tracking info or anything. You just play the waiting game and hope it’s on the delivery truck (which only comes on Tuesday) After three weeks I finally got a call from the manager saying I can have the display because the item still had not come in. Corporate really needs make buying furniture easier. The staff was super helpful, but there’s only so much they can do.

Neat and ever changing varieties of all kinds of items... from snacks to furniture and everything in-between. Employees can be a bit surly but I cant blame them, they likely have a lot of go-backs from lazy customers that dont put unwanted items back where they belong.

Im gonna be honest. I love Big Lots. I use to work there as a teenager. They had all kinds of cool stuff in there. I thought Big Lots moving next to Dollar General would have killed all Dollar Generals business, but the truth is this Big Lots has ALL that space and never has anything you want, need, or are looking for. Just try Dollar General first.

This is the new Big Lots that opened up in the old Bi-Lo shopping center across from the Post Office on Dorchester Rd. Unlike the old store which was next to Aldis, the parking lot is ample, clean and newly paved. The inside of the store is spacious with more cashiers. It looks as if this new store is selling more furniture. It also seems to be well stocked. Definitely an upgrade with this store. I was even asked by an employee if I needed any help. I will return to this store.

Theres no good redeeming qualities about this place. The prices arent competitive, the lines are a mile long because they often have one cashier which isnt fair to the cashier either. The stock is low. Its a waste of a store. Anything in there I can get at Target or the grocery store or TJMAXX.

Big Lots on Dorchester Road in Summerville is a great resource for many items from food to furniture to home goods and many more items. I really like the convenience of this location and the ease of being able to get in and out of the store. This store is well organized and layed out and it is easy to find exactly what you are looking for with all of the different sections being well labeled. The staff here is very pleasant and helpful and is available to help you if you need it. I have been able to successfully find many different items on my list every time that I have been here. This is a cool Big Lots.

The one that reopened in the old Bolo in Oakbrook is very nice and clean and orderly.I was very impressed.Think Ill shop there more often found a few good bargains.

Very nice store

The customer service at this location is very bad. Stood in line for almost an hour to purchase. They had only one lane open. Then someone showed up and called for help after the line reached around half the store. I wont be shopping at this location again.

Made three trips today. Bought a sofa first then went back and bought groceries and essential things that I needed for my new place. And then went back and got a vacuum cleaner and other things needed for the house! First two trips for great last trip easy shopping experience but the cashier lady was not very friendly she didnt smile she was directing to the point kind of made you feel like she didnt want to be there! Not calling any names cuz I dont want someone to lose their job. Didnt really bother me that much but felt it was worth saying! Otherwise all the other associates in the store are very friendly and kind!
