Great place to fill up and grab a quick bite to eat although the McDonalds here tends to get overwhelmed so you might try placing your order ahead of time on-line. Find all kinds of necessities that will keep your vehicle road ready.

Not a bad Truck stop. Part of the pilot/Flying J network... Kinda tight parking lot though. The diesel pump area could be cleaned up a bit. People who do drop their trailers should have them towed.

Automotive pumps are a bit tight to maneuver into with a large RV or vehicle pulling a trailer. Very tight parking area. No separate RV parking.

Pilot was a great experience till i went into the McDonalds connected to it. You would think with business slow because of virus that businesses would focus on customer service since business is slow at the moment. There customer service was terrible, Id give them a negative 5 stars if i could. Cant comment on the food because i paid for my order and left with absolutely nothing. My first and probably last visit to that McDonalds.

Fuel nozzles are incorrectly adjusted, multiple touch pads dont work. Found a working pump on the third try however I couldnt use the auto-shutoff because it was non-functional. Inside is reasonably clean however.

Clean, accessible bathrooms; a variety of food options; a well lit gas station for cars with ample parking for shoppers; and, an awesome coffee selection with all the flavorings. Whats not to live about this place?I come here a lot. On rare occasions, the coffee bar is not properly stocked. But, whenever I inform the staff about it, they are quick to respond. I am a Pilot/Flying J rewards member and I stop at Pilot/Flying J whenever I can. This is one of their top properties.

I am amazed at the Pilot gas station. It has everything you need. Wish they had more in the city of Charleston. This is truly a one stop shop gas station. We visit Pilots a lot on the road when we are travelling.

I love going here. Great snacks for the road and the bathrooms are always clean. The prices can be a little expensive though. The staff is not always that friendly, but they are better than others.The gas is also great quality and my car is really sensitive to different gases. Easy to get in and out without a problem.

Very decent truck stop for all of your needs, but this one is very easy to access! It is located north of I-26, I would also have to say why there are six gas stations in Summerville? I honestly dont know. There was also a McDonalds that is next to the station.Thank you!October 26, 2019

If you spend to much time in here you will blow some $$. I love it. Plenty of space for my husband to park truck & 53ft. Container when he comes home. Outside, Inside of store are always clean. The People are nice and very welcoming.

If I could leave a negative zero to this I would. The worst pilot I have ever been to. The employees dont welcome you. The manager Mark is very rude and doesnt have people skills. He doesnt need to be in management. Parking is very small. This will be one I never stop at ever again or even think about spending money at. This location should be closed for Good

I dont think Ive ever reviewed a gas station before, but this is a great gas station. It is also a truck stop, so keep that in mind. I still choose this gas station out of the others that are close to my house... Mainly because the staff is amazing. Ive gone in at least 6 times other than when I have just filled up my tank and the staff is always very efficient, kind, they all have great customer service skills, and the gas station itself is very clean.

Convenient spot and relatively friendly staff. Often times the fuel is more reasonable here than other places. Only draw back is some somewhat sketchy characters wandering around there in the late evening and night time.

Gas prices are usually good and the convenience section has a lot to choose from and they have 2 other restaurants inside. Its a good stopping place for us on our way to the NC mountains

Pilot travel center had easy Im and out. It looked clean outside. Several pumps were out of gas so plan accordingly- nobody wants to run out of gas😞.

The cashiers always seem to be more interested in talking on their cell phones than helping their customers. Outside of taking quite a long time to check out with your purchase the cashiers are very rude and treat you as if their doing you a favor checking you out. Their kindness and positive attitude has quite a bit too be desired. Go across the street, but again their attitude is not that desirable itself. What happened to Charleston being three city of love and hospitality?

Nice truck stop. I use Pilot a lot when Im traveling because its so easy getting my 5th wheel in and out plus the restrooms are always clean

The Staffing was Pleasant to say the least. They have great attitudes which is always a pleasure to find places you go that Services a lot of people in a day a lot of places not like the Pilot travel, Racine to hire nothing but the friendliest and quite cheerful type of people. where are some places just hire whoever no matter what kind of attitude they have which is not good for customer relation

I was there the other day to get weighed and gassed up during rush hour and things were pretty hectic inside. Despite being understaffed for the time, Elizabeth juggled everything remarkably well, I was impressed. Thats service with a smile!

Always clean, staff friendly. Variety of items. Well organized. Restrooms clean. Everything had price stickers so no guessing. A self service hot food area.

Ive never had a problem till today. Sadly enough I believe I was waited on by the manager. As I was checking out and asking him a question about the credit machine he proceeded to talk over me to the person standing I n the next lane which had nothing to do with me and my order. I felt that was extremely rude and bad business! TAKE care of your customer first! Let the other cashier deal with theirs and keep your nose out of it unless,its a problem that requires a manager which this did not!!

Very clean, very organized and well stocked. Staff was very kind and helpful. Very busy but it was the weekend before the 4th when I stopped here. Good location and very easy access to the interstate.

Has the best place in town to clean your windshield. I know it seems minor but not when you drive a Jeep Wrangler. Accommodations at pumps always clean & stocked. Very rare find in todays world.

Really small and only has about 10 to 15 parking spaces. Only about 4 fuel pumps so at times the line gets really long. But the great part is that its the only major truck stop in the area and they also have showers

Great prices on gas and plenty of pumps to chose from so there’s hardly ever a wait! Fully stocked convenience store with a large variety of goods to chose from! There is also a McDonald’s connected inside that’s open 24/7! Friendly and helpful associates too!

Great place with a 24hr McDonalds off the side. Is also a truck fuel stop with minimal parking for the 18 wheelers. Place is right off interstate and can get quite busy at times. Always has clean facilities and hot coffee.

Expensive, werent greeted and just seemed staff was having an off day. Which is unusual for this store but it happens sometimes. So I will still be back.

The pilot cashier was very nice... But McDonalds messed up my food and the ice coffee the manager made me was horrible but they have good attitudes just need to get orders out correctly!!

Adequate coffee. POS at pump does not work coercing patrons to enter store to pre-pay for fuel. When asked when itll be restored, received response indicating not a priority for this Summerville Pilot location.

Besides good gas prices, this was one of the most disappointing Pilots weve ever stopped at. The bathrooms werent clean (one of the main reasons we choose to stop at Pilots on road trips) and there was no changing table in the women or mens restroom for changing our toddlers diapers. Not a family friendly stop.

As per usual, clean, with a wide variety of snacks and drinks with decent staff.

This pilot is always clean and well stocked at the diesel islands. At busy times it can be hard to get to the islands or the scale because its so small. There is very little truck parking and the spots on the right can be very hard to blind side back in to.The store itself has just about everything a weary traveller could need and the few isles that have truckers goods are pretty well stocked, its just a smaller truck stop.

Always has great gas prices. Store always has excellent variety

Store is nice and so are the people but getting out is a NIGHTMARE! Its at an intersection with NO traffic lights. Has had accidents already and have been open only a few months. Some serious close calls. Until a light is installed and improved intersection I wouldnt stop here. Should have never opened till a light was installed.

Tiny. Actual parking is for ten trucks. Seven on the left and three that you have to blindside into on the right. Five fuel islands and a Cat scale all in a row...one way in, through the pumps, and one way out...The store itself was clean and tidy. Bathrooms too...I dont eat McDonalds so...

Clean, fast, friendly. Man doing trash today on fuel island deserves a raise. He kept the trash cans empty and said welcome to pilot to each driver.

The parking lot and access are crazy. If you make a wrong turn, you end up in a truck lane with no easy way to get out. They also need to fix the parking lot.

Bathrooms were sort of smelly and messy compared to the standards of most Pilot Travel Centers I have been to in the past. However, I will be passing through again in the coming weeks and will happily revise my review if this turns out to have been an isolated incedent.

I dont see why people are complaining. Its a small truck stop, which any truck stop is rare around here. It has about 15 parking spots but I would highly advise inexperience drivers not to come here since obviously they dont know how to back up when theres not a football field worth of room to maneuver. Watched one guy try backing up for almost an hour in the easiest spot, while he blocked everyone and wouldnt take anyones help. People inside arent the friendliest but I wouldnt be either if I worked at a truck stop.

Crime there. Good coffee .I would like to see it, Im down south in sc working and need home here on water and very safe. Im working through criminal cases and inventing as side work. What does it cost and how much a month and down? Im dealing with a mail problem and identity theft. I just shut down all accounts, me in person until I get all documents in person, too secret, security, my hands and eye only where ever I am working that moment (law, little vi) Im being a banned by parliament it seems, no-one is coming to my rescue. Why do you people keep calling without text or coming to see me in person if you need and and are innocent, pure of heart, righteous for Lord God. This is not how my birthrights work, or how any one can go forward.

Pilot Travel Center is usually a good place but didnt have great experience this time. First off i walk in and notice the place is kinda disorganized and theres alot of clutter. Then noticed the place was dirty in some areas. Then one employee was rude to customer in front of me. This location needs improvement. Dont know if Ill return.

Ive been here all day and because of the reviews I didnt go in till late but Im lookout and all I see is them cleaning the pumps and surrounding area.So I go in to get ice and because of reviews Im hesitant about the rest room but I go and its cleaner than most of the big pilots. Yes it has a small parking lot but its never a surprise to me to scramble for a space, big or small. The staff was friendly and everything was in order.If the lot has garbage on it., Well we know who does that, so stop gripping and do your job to help keep it clean. And yes I am a veteran truck driver.

Been coming to Summervilles pilot for quite some time on my way into Charleston. But since Keisha Aka Big Sexy has been at this store the atmosphere has definitely changed. She greets me each and everytime with so much hospitality. She is a great asset to this company. Employees like her will definitely keep customers coming back.

The showers are hot and people are nice they do have a Wendys next door and truckers store downstairs but there is limited parking doing the day because well its pilot

This is the busiest store in Summerville and yet the pumps dont work and there is not enough staff.. you would think yall put money into making this store right for the ppl. I will got to speedway from here on out. No stars thanks I had to give one star to post

Pilot Travel Centers are great.... I try to go to there one traveling they have all your needs.... showers, food,fuel. What else can a person traveling want?

Good access from the interstate as well as from 17A. The exit is a little troublesome because of the limited amount of space you have. Automobiles and trucks can go out of the same exit. I should probably just be limited to trucks to avoid morons and idiots who try to come in the exit only and scream at people because they cant get to the front of the store and get a hot dog or six pack of beer. Bunches of morons over in that area always using that exit as an entrance just because theyre too freaking lazy and too freaking in a hurry to just turn right on 17A and go to the front. You people are idiots.

The Pilot center was great but the McDs next door was crazy unorganized. I repeated my order like 4 times and they still got it wrong so I had to order again and they STILL got it wrong so then I basically had to manage the front staff to get my order corrected. I wasnt mad just disappointed because I chose the counter staff to order instead of the robot order station. I expected more from a person but maybe they was new or just overwhelmed by rush hour at the start if Spring Break tourist season. Yall better shape up, its only going to get busier... 💁

If you love truck stops is a good one. Not outstanding but definitely clean and Hi experienced good light service.

Pretty typical gas station except half the pumps were out of order, and I ended up with a mysterious $151 charge that wasnt mine. Store was clean and people were nice though.

Fuel islands were pretty clean, store was a little messy, went to the counter to get fuel receipts and the computer shut down for like ten minutes. Cashier was friendly and apologized but as a truck driver we have elds and cant cheat log books so we have a time we have to stay by.

Its a hit or miss with this place. This particular time the lady who was working at the truckers register was on the phone and being nosey and responded to my requrst to my cashier with a snide sound, rolled her eyes, and shifted her body language b**** mode but wasnt willing to back up as I, of course, asked her if there was somethin she wanted to share with the class but she was a coward and acted as if she couldnt hear me. I said twice, louder the second time..Ignorance is so very annoying. Wish we had been outside of a business, I would have given her a run for her money 😉!

They put a $151.00 authorization charge on my credit card, I get that itll come off (hopefully), but Jesus, all other gas stations I go to only have a $1.00 authorization fee. I was concerned because their pumps are so old and worn down they dont read the chips on your cards because of the way youre required to swipe it.. This opens you up to credit card skimmers and other scams . You would think with as much money as they make they could change out the pumps they got in the 90s. I wont be coming back.

The staff is friendly and helpful. This place has everything that a traveler needs. It can be difficult getting in and out of this place, due to the arrangement of the nearby traffic light, and the high volume of traffic this place handles each day.

Nice place for gifts and memorabilia. Very friendly people. Bathrooms were a mess but it was lunch rush when I visited. Parking lot is a hassle to park. And very hectic trying to get in the parking lot and even worse getting out of it if you have to head back to the freeway. McDonalds is also in the same building.

Pilot Coffee is the best ! I purchase bags of their Pilot Mild Ground Coffee ... Terrific.

Employees were very unprofessional and rude. Not very helpful either! Employees in the McDonalds there were even worse. All of the ones working the registers were all very young and disrespectful. They were all making fun of the customers, sometimes not even hiding it. I was extremely disgusted with the McDonalds staff, just disgusting.
