This is without a doubt the worst truck stop Ive ever been to. The employees didnt do their jobs and had a huge attitude like the customer is bothering them. No coffee at 8:00am and restrooms were in terrible condition. Ill never stop here again.

The store is newer & nice but there’s two big issues I came across during my two days here (truck driver).Firstly, this store is in DESPERATE need of a new or extra hot water tank. I took showers two nights in a row and both of those were cold showers. I would try to defend it by saying there was a line for showers each night (2 people ahead of me each night) but I have been to smaller pilots with packed showers and I still get hot water.Secondly, the woman’s bathroom was not fully cleaned between those two days. Going in this morning over half of the toilets were full of paper and there’s trash/grime on the floor that had been there for 24 hours & some of the bathroom stall trash bins also had not been changed out and were overflowing.

Love stopping here. Very friendly staff. There is a young lady that works over night her name is Faith she does an awesome job. She goes above and beyond to help people out. I was having a bad night and when I walked in her smile lights up the store. She greets people and tells them to come back so well mannered. Love this place

I used to purchase items here daily but have stopped giving them any business. This flying J has banned all Bob tail parking in the front, causing them to park in the rear and taking up space for trucks with trailers. They have also blocked an area that would be ideal parking for about 8-10 Bob tails. They have coned off parking near the scale that can accommodate 4 trucks down to 2 and parking over near the propane tanks has been blocked by employees so trucks cannot park there. Its not designated for cars either.This Flying J has clearly made it known that they are partial to cars. I have spoke to the manager along with several other drivers I know, along with calling corporate but they did not show concern either.I was spending $2-$300 daily at this location, so imagine if 10 drivers stop using this location all together??? You think your sales are up, well thats because of trucks, not cars.I will make it known to every driver I know to please bypass this location from here on out.

I highly recommend this Pilot Truck Stop location. One employee by the name of Ashley should be recognized. Also this is a veterans friendly business. Lynne went above and beyond what normal employees do. The truck stop is well maintained, fully stocked shelves, very clean restrooms, great food, and even has a Wendys if you choose. The showers are great. Very clean and roomy. They furnished all the towels. Conveniently located just off I-26 on Jedburg Road exit 194 in Summerville. Say Hi to Ashley as its hard to find great employees like her.

The Flying J Travel Center on Jedburg Road in Summerville is a great place to stop for gas or snacks, a meal, or drinks. It is really convenient to get to right off of Interstate 26 and if you are leaving town or coming back in to town it is a good place to get some gas and also get anything else that you need. They have a wide range of different items for sale and the store is clean and well organized. They have a good selection of food that is delicious. I have been well pleased and have had a good experience every time that I have been here. The staff here is cool and efficient in their service and do their best to keep things moving so you can be on your way.This place can save the day and be there right when you need it.

Still has that new store feel. We were greeted with a hearty welcome when we came in. Nicely lit and laid out, clean as could be, especially the bathrooms. All the beverages you could want.And the food! This aint gas station food. Its real food! Mashed potatoes, greens, corn...real sides. Awesome pizza.They also have bagged ice and propane tanks.Hope they keep it up.

Ive been coming here for a while. Today I inquired of the manager, why there were so many drop trailers on the lot. She informed me that someone above her allows a certain company to drop their trailers, which are the trailers in the pics. I was given a dirty shower with no towels and a dirty washcloth on the sink. When I inquired about it I was met with a lot of buy all three women. When I was leaving I went to get my fountain drink and it was out of dr. Pepper. So when I went to ring up. I told the lady about it, and she would not acknowledge me. She was very rude to me. And I could not for the life of me. Understand why she was sitting on a stool behind the register. It could not be bothered to look at the fountain machine. All involved were very rude, I spend $2,500 a month just in fuel at flying j. And another $500 a month in merchandise minimal. I guess Im going to have to take my business back to the Loves.. so Im editing this review Im sitting in my truck and I just watched the maintenance man smoking a joint in front of my truck on crash instead of inside doing his job.

Prepay for gas. Had to go back in and stand in line patiently 3 times to ask for gas. No luck. So I go back in and stand in line patiently for my money back. No biggie. Until the dreadlocks with tats threatened me This world has gone to shot

Its 2.75 to wash 2.50 to dry. I dont mind paying if the area is clean and everything works! I had to call the manager to get my clothes out cause it was stuck and locked. So he opened I opened no problem my clothes were still soaked they were stuck on the wash cycle for 15 mins with only 6 mins to spin. The dryer has 1.00 so me being sneaky ok Ill add 1.50 more nope it took money but, the dryer above had 45 mins flashing so I moved the clothes up put money in the other dryer started on that time so, the wires to the dryers are somehow switched. Its been 22 mins and no one has come to give me back my 1.50 like he said. But, I did get my 2.75 back on another machine to rinse the soaked clothes on the first washer. Its 15.00 to park it took me 7.00 to wash and dry 2 loads. WOW! I thought for a moment I was in California! I think for now on, Ill park at a rest area and ran around with dirty clothes!

Today... very unprofessional... better training...maybe some classes on how to address/speak to the paying customers... especially truck drivers... remember truck drivers should be respected because they haul 70% of our needs... do the cashiers address management that way

Im confused at the negative posts. Ive stopped here before and found that this is a very good place. The staff is friendly, the hot food is very good, and its clean.

There is a concrete curb that is a little too close to one row of truck parking. I had to drive up on the curb to get my truck into my parking space.

Im glad the manager chick at Wendys was rude! I cancelled my order there, and got the pot roast from the hot bar, instead. Some of the best food Ive had in awhile!

Wifi is a broken mess. Cant get past the sign in, and apparently its our fault. Not that a 500 server error is pilot flying js issue.. nope, customer care says its our fault, and not their server. (Fyi a 500 error means their server has a fault, usually a syntax error in .htasscess folder or a server permissions issue... both meaning that pilots server is borked)But what do I know? Apparently less than a woman that suggested I unplug my computer and plug it back in.

While the prices here are kind of ridiculous (they are a truck stop so not unusual) the staff here is always friendly and to be honest they have the patience of saints. I was using my debit card and their machine asked me to remove my card (chip reader) and slide so I did, my bank saw this as suspicious and locked my card so I stepped to the side to call my bank and had to go through the process of verifying my transaction and all that good stuff. When i finally got situated i went back and paid for my stuff. I had two freezees which they let me get fresh ones for free without me even asking, then i had paid for $15 gas and was so flustered I told them the wrong pump and didnt realize it until i was walking out and happen to look at the pump number i gave them and saw someone else pumping the gas. By the time i got back to the counter to let them know this dishonest person had already pumped and left knowing they did not pay smh people are so ridiculous! Anyway, they knew I had paid so without question they gave me my $15 on the correct pump so i could finally be on my way. Thank yall for being so patient and compassionate it really made all the difference when my day was going all the wrong ways! ❤❤❤❤ side note, it would be amazing if yall would carry the short pack of maverick menthols and have some sort of rewards system. I get gas daily as i drive a lot for work and mostly get gas at hot spots because their rewards actually give you cash value ive bought lunch, cigarettes, and beer with my rewards there!

Pjs has pretty good food considering its a gas station.

The showers were clean, but its mostly pay to park. Dont expect to get a parking spot.

Stop ripping off your customers by not giving them all their change. If you dont have change go to the damn bank and get some change. Im not coming back here until you fix this problem

This morning I went there to get a sandwich and coffee. They didnt even have any hot food. This place is horrible for an otr driver. They have reduced themselves to a p and p. Pee and park. Its too bad for a relatively new place. Management needs to be trained on how to run a Truck Stop. In my opinion real truck stops should have food available 24 7. And you cant run it like a convenience store

The clerk, and older woman, was the rudest and most hateful person I have met all year out of all the truck stops. We spend hundreds of dollars in fuel only to be treated like we are beneath her. I am furious and will tell the rest of my truck drivers that they need not stop here. To top it all off, the bathroom was the nastiest I have seen in all my years of truck driving. This is why Loves is by far the best for truck drivers. This is because Loves loves truck drivers. They excel in customer service skills.

Waited 15 mins before they decided to clean 1 of the 5 empty showers.They asked a guy to clean 1 for me.He dropped clean towels but did not mop floor shower or washbasin.This is a horrible truck stop

Great manager! Weekend crew are older and much more rude. If you dont like your job then stay home! Wendys understaffed but I give the manger credit in a big way, I hadnt eaten in 3 days, I swolled my pride and asked for a sandwich, I got a great chicken breakfast sandwich. On the 1st I went and bought lunch and paid for that sandwich. Not enough shade for cars, guess you need to be a trucker. Pj market pizza only thing I found to be eatable.

Free Air for your tires be careful they also have an air station that you pay for, but go around next to the RV dump station across from the paid air and get free air! And yes they have a place where Rvs can dump their black water tanks and such! They got everything you need to travel on the road including showers! Nice pit stop on long road trips whether for pleasure or business. The Flying J had my business!

Showers & Store very clean, staff very friendly and helpful then I went to Wendy’s and thats where the nice friendly staff ended!!very rude and was treated like I was bothering them by coming in, the girl that took my order was apparently mad at the world she just looked at me with a blank stare didn’t ask me for my order she just stood there lol I finally had to ask her if I could place my order, 🤦🏻‍♀️ and the look she gave me not once but several times was a look of “why are you bothering me” Then when my order was ready she literally slung the bag on the counter and gave that look once again. What No thank you have a nice day Lol. WOW!!! some people have no business working in customer service EVER.

Stopped here to do our 10 hour break. Open spots available to park but yet drivers parked in the exit and entrance. The parking lot was well lit and didnt smell of piss yet(big bonus)! Bathrooms where clean as could be, laundry room was kinda tight. Only one table to fold your laundry on. 4 washer and 6 dryers and to use the washers you have to pretty much stand on your head. Wendys was clean and fast service. Fresh Dunkin Donuts and coffee.

Hate the Duncan donuts coffee will not buy it. Wendys under staffed. Should not have to wait 5 minutes with no line for someone to take order. FAST FOOD... soo tired of nasty truck stops but its what they give us truckers. I will do my best not to spend money at these substandard places. They got 0 from me this visit. And pizza is under cooked

It is a beautiful store and well placed for our trip, but it has the worst parking/traffic re entry faculties Ive ever experienced. We waited twenty minutes to get out of the parking lot due to only having a single entry to the road. Little traffic indication combined with no traffic light present means youre at the mercy of other drivers. Ruined the whole stop for us. Youre best off avoiding a stop if youre trying to keep any time.

I love flying j. But this location.. holy dirty. For how many workers I saw in there, why cant someone clean up the bathrooms or wipe off the counter tops? What a disappointment.

Ive been coming here for the past year just for the Dunkin donuts coffee. The run out of that way to often. Not to mention they push the breakfast burrito that not everyone wants. While not having any other sandwich choices. At lunch time all they have is breakfast burrito. Yes they have breakfast like eggs bacon and sausage meal but I never have time to sit down and eat that. For once it would be nice to be able to grab a quick sandwich for lunch. And a Dunkin donuts coffee.Poorly managed

Glad to have this place in the area, as I come thru from time to time. Went in to get a shower at midnight had to wait over 1 hour ( no one cleaning showers. ) Went back in at 5:30 am still had to wait, cleaning guy was at the register cutting up !?!? ( Elizabeth did try to smooth it over), but its still unacceptable ! Needs Expedite and Bob tail parking separately from general public.

Didnt do much here but fuel nd park for the night. Fills up early as would be expected for the number of trucks in the area. Staff I interacted with were friendly enough. Make a spot trucks were overdoing it nd double parking. Double parkers were moved by staff. Otherwise the legit parked trucks wouldve been blocked in. Thank You👍

Enjoyed Wendys, packed full but fast service, DELICIOUS food, friendly customer service. Its a brand new truck stop off of exit 194 on Interstate i-26. Traffic was terrible, they need a light. One way in, one way out.😣

Great place to stop at, but good luck getting out. It took us about 15 minutes to leave the parking lot because of all the trucks trying to cross the road. Someone needs to install a light leaving this store because it is quite dangerous.

Fresh, brand-new showers! No pee smell on the parking lot yet. People are still fixing and finish building the place as of March 7 2018. Like another review said, there is fresh food out on display by the counter done by a brand new clean kitchen :)10/10 please keep up with this truck stop and good management

Managers were all on their phones and when asked for an extra towel set couldnt be bothered to walk back and get one. Something is terrible off with the PG Fresh food and the Wendys staff have a hard time just taking your order. Been coming here every week since opening and just keep watching it decline in customer service.

Lady who was behind breakfast counter greeted everyone who came in this morning. The cashier lady was nicel.Got breakfast pizza was sooo good; yummy crust and pizza not greasy. Got a lot of options for drinks.

This is for Wendys, stopped in to get a quick bite. That was my first mistake. They had people standing in line and people sitting in chairs waiting to order. One of the two registers were open. I finally get to order ask a simple question about if cheese comes on this sandwich. The girl snakes her head yes and shrugs her shoulders at the same time. Then she does not know how work the register. Needless to say I left hungry.

I stop at this flying j a lot because its near where I pick up my trucks but seems like every time I come here I have a problem. This time I went in and asked for a receipt for diesel because the pump printer was malfunctioning. The lady at the counter gave me a look of disgust when I told her I didnt know how much it was. I knew how many gallons I pumped but not the cost. She did this sigh and rolled her eyes like she was in disgust when I told her I could give her my driver number. Very rude if you ask me. Ill probably start using the Loves Travel Stop when I pick up here from now on.

So I drive OTR and I depend on a 20# propane tank to run my heater in my truck, so I call ahead and ask to make sure they have bulk propane and they do, so I arrive 30 minutes later and tell them I need my tank filled and she proceeds to tell me they don’t fill after dark😳 SAY WHAT !! SINCE WHEN !!! I’ve filled my tank literally all over this country and that’s the first time I’ve heard that, and BTW it was dark when I called them and that wasn’t mentioned either, so maybe it was because they were busy, I even offered to wait still NO !!!

This store has the rudest manager I have ever come across in Flying J Truck stops. But I hope she will change for good!

Nice new stop, but could not believe there was a bug crawling near the hot food. Gross, will never eat from there. Very disappointed.

Everything was great, except they had ad billboards and cigarette butt container in the handicap loading zone. Im very sure nothing is supposed to be in the handicap areas for loading and off loading.

Nice new facility. However truck lounge is small and cramped, only 5 showers and the laundry room is very narrow with just a small table to fold clothes. There is really only room for 1 person at a time. They also seemed to have changed the meatloaf recipe and they dont serve gravy with the potatoes. The bathrooms could be cleaner as well.

I was super excited when I found out there was finally going to be a gas station off of Jedburg, its the exit I take to get to work & back home. I now don’t have to stop at crowded Main St Summerville for gas. This place is great! Gas price is cheap, there’s a Wendy’s, Dunkin Donuts Express, and pizza!

A new Flying J with a Wendys restaurant both of which are very clean, customer service is excellent in both Wendys and the Flying J. I took a shower here in the shower rooms are very clean and the water was nice and hot, this Flying J has a pretty large parking area which is kept very clean of any garbage or debris.

Sitting for 2.5 hours waiting to get into the reserve parking space that i reserved at noon today there are other trucks who hasnt reserved them a spot parked in them and all we can get from the flying j is will be there in 5 minutes to get them out i understand being short staffed but why the hell would you only have 2 people working

When it 1st opened it was great. Great puzza, good customer service. Now we just go the Spinx next to it and get out faster and way better service. This place has messed up my order so many times its sad. Dont go here, takes 25 mins to a hour to leave the parking lot and they have gone down hill. Go to spinx. Way better

It get three stars for looking nice. But EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE GAS and DEF. Not a good place to refuel will lose money. They must have super special gas because it super pricey. Just try to drive 6 more miles down the 26hwy to the McDonald’s gas station they are a bit cheaper.

When asked for an extra towel they all looked at each other as if I was speaking a different language. Then if your really Im the mood for some dreadful entertainment just sit back and wait to hear the loud talker named Tifannie yell out at the top of her lungs welcome to flying J its very entertaining to watch her scare the hell out of the patrons who just walked thru the door.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, Long lines, slow service. Ordered a full pizza and was there for 30 min+ waiting then when they gave it to me it was cold. Not warm cold. I tried giving Flying J a chance again. And they ruined it.

NEVER stop here if you need a receipt, are in a hurry or dont feel like going in the store. I called the corporate office after I could NEVER get a receipt at the pump. I advised them that I have never gotten an apology from anyone for having to come in the store for e receipt. Can every pump be out is paper? Yes! I spend at least $300 a week in gas. I quit going there for a week. Guest what? I stopped a few minuted ago. You wont believe what happened. I filled mu car up at pump 5 this time and what do I get? A message, see cashier for receipt. Once again, I complained to a manager ( blue shirt) who gave me my receipt and said nothing!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Need to add name to maps. Does not show.Also every time I get gas there I have to See Cashier to get my receipt. Very frustrating. Have even mentioned it to manager and it is still a problem.

We were planning on stopping here to park our rig..get a shower & a bit to eat..& stay for the night..but NO!! ..plum full..not enough truck parking out back.. awfuly small for a truck stop..Well we stopped back in AM .Finally a space was openWent in to get a shower .. we said one shower & could we plz get an extra set of towels..waited on extra towels.. nothing..then hubby looked at receipt & she charged us for 2 show ers ! So he went back to get this corrected..the dumb ass bimbo at register, that did this in the first place, didnt know how to correct her mistake..Oh well I guess you bend over & just say ty ..We never did get the 2nd set of towels..

Wendys restaurant is very slow alot of the staff working in there has no clue about customer service and could careless about getting orders correctI have never been to a place that was so horrendous to get in and out of Berkeley county needs to do something about this before a bad wreck happens
